Avon Police Boost Broadmead Presence, Ex-Officer Barred for Misconduct

From July 2022 through August 2023, he crossed lines with repeated sexist remarks that made her uncomfortable, that included watching her when she was alone at work, chatting about her looks and others, and even blowing a kiss her way. The panel, led by Assistant Chief Constable Craig Holden, ruled it gross misconduct. If he were still on the force, dismissal without notice would have been immediate, and now he's barred from any policing role nationwide. Professional standards head Larissa Hunt stressed they're pushing hard against sexism in the ranks.
