in around 20 minutes time. Now all thanks to points bets. Pull them. Available on prime, time NFL games. What are you really gambling with? It's our man, Aaron Cipos who joins us. Hello, sir. Welcome back. Thanks for having me, mate. Good to be speaking to you. Got to start with your boys, mate. These feel a little bit illegal. It was always going to be an intriguing game going in. The Rams dropped one last week and there's always pressure on the Eagles because your fans and Philadelphia are just out of control and they want every single win, every single week. But they had control the game and the Rams somehow got the job done. There's injuries galore. What do you make of the Eagles? It's a bit of a struggle time for them right now, isn't it? The offense is stalling, losing Seiko on obviously to a hamstring and Lane Johnson before the games even started where amongst Devontas, Smith and being out and a couple of other guys, it certainly hurts them. But I just think they're stalling right now. Twenty points is not going to win you many games and Jalen not even able to reach the hundred yard mark for passing yards makes it very, very tough.
So they're in a bit of hurt right now. The defense is trying to do as much they can to be able to hold on to the game. But yeah, it's tough especially against an LA Rams team. We just, but obviously get a win because they certainly didn't want to be one and three. So it's an interesting time for them right now. I'm not going to ask you if Nick Sierriani is on the pressure meter through the roof because there would be a little bit unfair. But it is, it is a very intense sporting city in many angles and the Eagles sit at the very top of the fandom. Of course, two NFC championships and one of which you were a part of a Super Bowl win as well. But when you're playing field, Alphair, that pressure does come with things don't go your way regardless of what you've done in their not too distant history. Oh, no doubt. He's going to be under pressure from those fans and that and hopefully the organization is sticking fat with him because as you said, you've said it very, very well. Super Bowl championship coach and a couple of NFC appearances as well. So he's got the record to prove it.
Hopefully they stick fat. They are a bit injury riddled right now, but hopefully they can bounce back. They were two and two in the year that they won the Super Bowl a couple of years ago. So not always lost and hopefully they can bounce back in what air their divisions definitely get a ball. I don't know if this is a surprise, CIP. I do not know if we just thought, well, Patrick Maharam's, Horrible Injury, Chiefs, Mr. Playoffs weren't playing all that well last year before he got hurt anyway. They haven't really had a huge amount of receivers. They run game. I know they brought Walker in, but they traverse. Like a million reasons as to why the Chiefs were not going to be a team we should be talking about, but they're four in zip. They got rid of the pesky raiders by the way who had a chance. They're three and one now. So they've had a great start themselves. When you look at the Chiefs, do you have any, are you surprised at all that they've been able to start the season this well? I'm not really. I honestly just thought that the run game forum was going to change everything and it's proven to be the case. They haven't had a solid running back that's been able to stay healthy for a couple of years and they go and get Walker because they know that's what they need.
Maharam's coming off in injury. They know they can't rely on him massively, but it's just opened up everything hasn't it? It's amazing. Kelsie getting back to good touch. I know Rishi Rysk goes down today with a hamstring. Hopefully it's not too bad, but other guys are just getting involved with it. It's just opening up the playbook massively and to be honest, I'm not really surprised. Maharam's is going to be a future Hall of Famer who's got so many years ahead of him and he's got one of the best coaches in the business. It turns the game smart and everything like that in Andy Reed. They are right where they need to be and where they want to be and pushing for something that's hard to achieve and that's obviously winning multiple Super Bowls. You've been on a really good team. That's Philadelphia Eagles team that went to the Super Bowl. How much does confidence weaken week out? Help a particular team? So the scoring system is almost perfect. All games are close in some aspects. Any given Sunday is my man and our man Benny Graham likes to show from the rooftops, but it is very true. When you're able to win games or be it by a small margin and you can be dominant, how much
confidence and momentum does it roll week in week out? Like I'm talking against the Chiefs of Foreign. How much does that help them when it comes to what's going to happen? I mean, I think we saw it with the Denver Broncos last year. I think they won 11 games or something like that by under a touchdown. And that builds confidence because it gives you the belief that teams can finish games. So it's the offensive side of the ball, all the defensive side of the ball like that. The confidence knowing that we're going to finish games and get through. Yeah, it's huge. And right now the Chiefs just put themselves in a perfect spot. The Broncos now lose again today. They get over the hump with the Raiders who are showing some really good fight right now. And of course the charges are in a world of hurt. So they have set it up perfectly. And when you get to the ability to be able to finish close games like that, it's huge. And then when you get to the busy end of the season and you've got those tickets, it's huge for trying to get to the main goal in winning a Super Bowl.
Talking about being able to find some confidence, the Patriots had had a bad start to the year. AJ Brown injury in the first game clearly plays a big part of that. And then you got the toughest schedule. You become the you become the hunter rather than the hunter as they were last year when they won the AFC. But that is a big win. Last year the Patriots beat the Bulls and it kind of set their year up a little bit. They got the job done today and Drake May was big. Well, it was the Drake May that we saw last year. Deep balls, guys making plays for him. Yes, he had a couple of, you know, not so good moments in terms of letting go of the foot in and a couple of fumbles. But overall, I thought the best part about it was his ability to use his legs today. I've just thought it was back when he wasn't there. You know, opportunity wasn't there to be able to finish himself from a passing point of view. He just got down the field with his legs and that changed the whole dynamic. He had to change the way that bills were defending him and it opened up a different avenue, which is the stuff that we saw last year. So hopefully this kind of puts him in a good place now. I still think Drake needs to look after the ball a bit more.
But what he was able to do today is a huge step forward for the Patriots organization that's trying to get back to the end of the season. You mentioned the charges. There's Zippen for Justin Herbert's always held in the highest of regards. I'm not as sold on Justin Herbert currently. I think the finesse side of a quarterbacks game hasn't quite been there yet. But in saying that, she's at the offensive line now. They don't. I don't think they've built the team around him as great as some other organizations have. And it probably hurts him more than he does any other quarterback in the league. What do you make of the charge? Oh, it's been a shock, hasn't it? I mean, the start of the season, everybody's like, they're ready to go and to really challenge. And I was on that train as well. I don't think it's just Justin Herbert. There is guys that are on his offense that are dropping balls for him that are definitely getable. He's online. He's had struggle with it all the last few years, but he's been able to do it. And managed to get away with it and be competitive, but it's just non-existent right now.
And he seems like a bit of a shell of himself. And I don't know whether that's got to do with coaching, or whether it's just he doesn't have the confidence right now to be able to finish off his work. But it's fair to say it's a bit of a surprise. And you know, what? It's one of those things with the division that they're in right now, as I mentioned, it's going to make it very, very tough for them to be able to come back and do anything. So a lot of work to be done there, can't it? It must shake the confidence of a quarterback, not knowing what's going to hit you. Like, it's called the blind side for a reason, but she's a tell you why. He's a zoned line haven't been. And I mean, they've had some injuries. Okay. So I mean, it's not like, no doubt. Yeah. So, but she's a tell you what, when you're standing in the pocket and you don't know what's coming and you're trying to assess a million different things. And he also, he would have to wake up Sora than any other quarterback in the league right now. His Monday mornings must be real rough because he, they're getting gloves on him and they have for the last two seasons way too regular. Absolutely. I think that they're not finding a way to be able to protect him. The past protection is not there.
Yeah, it's just, it's a hard watch for the, for the charges right now. And, you know, the defense is trying to fight hard and we saw that last week against the bills, but the complimentary football is just not there in the moment with their offense and, and special teams. Hey, the best thing that could have happened to us being proud, Mayor Bernan's sip is that the 49ers go and have a great start to the year now. They, they did that. They beat 10 minutes a day. You're up and down like a rollercoaster. They're four and zip the 49ers. I cast a Christian McCaffrey hasn't been in vintage CMAC form, but he was big late. This is great for us, Malburnians to see them play and start the season so well. Yeah, look, I, I was, I was bullish about the 49ers. I knew their division was very, very tough, but I mean, they've, they've proven it for a year in year out that they're a winning football organization, Colx, Shana hands and absolute genius on the offensive side. And when they're healthy on the defensive side, they're, they're a great football team. They play awesome complimentary football. And, and, you know, they just change the things for them. We saw it again today.
It was no easy feat for them on the offensive side of the ball. Denver, an incredible defensive team, but they just continue to keep fighting. Brock Perdi's in career best form. And it's great to see George Kittle back isn't it after what was a very, very scary Achilles injury foreign marshal for him to bounce back and do that. 55 yard running to touch down. It's just awesome to see in there. They're playing some really good football right now. And I'm forced to be reckoned with right now. There's no one spoke about him, but they should be now. Now, before we let you go, Aaron Cipos joins us all thanks points, but so three nothing early field goal for Detroit against the Panthers. Tomorrow's intriguing for the visual matchup. The Saints and the Falcon Saints have been okay early and the Falcons just continue to tease us, but they were unreal last week in belting the package. This is an interesting Tuesday morning. Yeah, it is. I mean, Travis ETN, Jr. being out certainly going to hurt them. The running game for the Saints will be very interesting.
So yeah, I mean, obviously what Atlanta were able to do last week in Green Bay was very, very impressive. And if they can keep that going, who knows what happens. They are completely different team, obviously, when you've got PennEx Jr. in there who's got the experience, he's played many games last year. And you could just see that you could just see from an offensive point of view how well it worked in their system. So they're a different team. I expect it to be a good fight. These two teams, they definitely like to get after each other. There's no doubt about it. I like what the Saints are doing. I think Chris Alive has been absolutely exceptional. They need to find a way to be able to stop him with Ajay Tarell being out for the Falcons. But yeah, I like to think maybe the Saints just get over the line considering they have been the more, you know, I'd say the better team, even though they're one and two themselves, they've been in every game and challenged every single week. So yeah, I'm really, really exciting one tomorrow. It is said by apologize to something flashed up on my NFL screen and it confused me.
