There is only one thing better than a victory Monday. And that's Friday. One way to sling shot into the weekend and into game one of the ALDS tomorrow for the Guardians. I think that electricity is transferable. Is it not guys? 100% from a Thursday night, Friday morning, right into Saturday. Let's hope so. Pretty sure it is. If it is, I feel sorry for the White Sox because the city was electric last night, not just after the game, but before it. Leaving the stadium. I think, I think, Prisoner of the Moment, it's the best game I've ever seen played in that stadium. And I don't mean clean. I mean, most entertaining. Were you not entertained for that three hour and 30 minute block or whatever it ended up being? Incredible show. We've got two hours for you. The second hour will flip over to KYC, but we'll stay here on the app. Adam the Bull. Zach my man. Wow. We're all stunned together. We're all. Gee, boys, Jay Crawford, Mikey behind the glass.
Two minute reaction. Go. What I thought, I mean, I'm an idiot. We're all idiots. Let's be honest. I don't know anything about football. I don't know anything about the Browns. This is remarkable. What the Browns are doing right now. And what they're overcoming, it's very anti-browns behavior here. They're making a million mistakes and they're overcoming them every time. They have 7,000 penalties. It doesn't matter. They make a play. The Sean Watson in the first half, dare I say, look at least close to the player I saw when the Browns first acquired him from Houston. And then the second he could make a throw. I thought he was going to cost him the game when he throws it behind a fan in there at the end. The good throw to fan in its game over. The different steals don't even score that last touchdown. But once again, unlike the last two weeks where he, this time he actually played well in the first half, he made a couple of throws on that last drive. And Andre Schmidt is a guarantee. I mean, that would, that look like it would have been good from 70.
Hit halfway up the net. He destroyed that football. Mason Graham goes out. No big deal. The defense plays well. Center is out. No big deal. The fill in center. Did a great job. I thought the offensive line played fantastic. Listen, the Browns are a flawed football team. But who isn't a flawed football team? All I know is right now, if you can take away what you thought about the team coming into the season. And if you could take away how many of us feel about the Sean Watson, both on the field in his career coming into this year and off the field. If you pull that out, I know it's not easy. The Browns right now are playing like a good football team. Does it mean they're going to be the rest of the year? It doesn't. But I could say that about almost every other team in football. Right now, the Browns are a good football team. They have three straight wins against teams. We'll see how good they end up being. But I don't think any of them are terrible, even Tampa. I don't think they're terrible.
And Carolina and the Steelers are obviously not terrible. I'm impressed. It was a great team win and Kudos to Todd Munkin through the quarter pole. He's the coach of the year. All the flowers are due. He's done a phenomenal job. He has a great attitude, great energy to lead this franchise right now. Well said, Jack Jackson. So third down, they throw and complete. The offense runs off. And I watch the field team come on. I see the holder set. It's going to be 56 yards. And I don't even look back up. I'm on my computer. Why? Because I know. And he was made. And what was the last time we could say that about a problem? A long time. A long time. A long time. A decade and a half. Right. So I knew. And so my hat's off. My hat's in the car. But it's off to Todd Munkin. Well, he's not the coach of the year. He's the coach of a decade right now. And it's this weird mix of energy and saying crazy things and coaching good offense. And then he despises crappy football, but there's too many penalties. They lose their center, but the offensive line has their best game.
And they completely are the better team all night long outside of the first draft. And yet they're about to lose it. They're about to give it away and they find a way. So he's running around like crazy after the game. He should be everyone is. The energy was amazing. I love his post game. His conference is there a little all over the place. They're all over. It's fun to listen to. Yeah. So you've got this team that is clearly flawed on offense, but it's getting better. Yeah. You've got this defense that's losing guys and coming at you. One interception by Denzel War changed the game and then it ended in theirception too. They deserve all the energy, the excitement of this. And look, now it's a season. We thought we were counting down to April, hand up. We'll see. But since the league expanded to playoff system back in 2020, I believe. If you start three and one, nearly 75% of the time you make the playoffs. So the watch is on. Yeah. Here we go. I can't believe it. I can't believe it. Bullade Moppy a Batchy Bush. What you mean? Where'd it go? I didn't even.
Well, I wait a minute. Yeah. It was gone. Now, let's see. I did down great, Jard of five wins, but I did pick you last week. It gets the Panthers. I didn't double down this week. Yeah. And I told you about top. They said, top monkey. Nobody wanted this job. We said, let's take it. The turnover chain is here. You see what type of time we are. I got more tonight on before. But now you see what it is. The dog pounds is back and ready to go. Listen, fellas. Three and one. Do you understand what that looks like in this division? Three and one Pittsburgh can go home and kick rocks. The Baltimore Ravens can go home and kick rocks. The Cincinnati Bengals, Yauke Kick Rocks. For the first time, I could come up in here, wear my browns gear, and I don't got to hear nothing about the quarterback. I don't got to hear nothing about drafting or other people. I don't even got to hear about top mucking in this playbook or Kevin St. Fansky or none of that.
I get to see here and be like, yeah, the Cleveland Browns is three and one. And they're doing it the hard way. You know what the hard way is? They didn't go out and mess around and get nobody. You know what they did? They draft the young dudes and their young dudes are playing. The young guys are coming stepping up. Hey, listen, you might root and burn. Listen, Coach Rudy, we called you out week one. Every since week one, three, four, guess what? Y'all playing defense. Somebody asked me and they said, is Jim Schwarz, who? Jim Schwarz, who? And guess what? You can get that off. You know why? Because the way the defensive line was playing, that was when I said Aaron Rogers, who can get rid of the ball as quick as possible. The way I saw guys wave after wave after wave coming in. Hey, Mason Graham was playing like lights out. He goes out. Mike Hall Jr. goes out with a leg injury. Comes back in the football game and gets it set. Jared Versa, like he understood what type of rivalry this was from start. He was tripping at them dudes all day and Aaron Rogers getting beat up.
They was beating Pittsburgh so bad. TJ Watt got the headset. It was a looping over there. TJ Watt said, give me the dang on headset. What are y'all calling up top? Hey, what is over there looking right now? We got to figure something out. This is looping with him. He was a bit sliver flying all over on the side. He over there. Ah, yeah, good for you. And Aaron Rogers was over there having a midlife crisis with his head coach. What are you doing? Give me the calls in. What are you doing? Give me the calls in. You got smoke and it was getting ugly for you. So here's what I'm going to say about this too. Dishonned watching in the first half was Goku. Super Sam. That man when he was really just second quarter, he barely touched the field in the first quarter. He was moonwalking on people. I said, are you going to give me this 4500? I asked for five years ago. Because this is the 230 that we look. He was dancing on people. I'm like, why they let him wear a visor now? This is that first half. I looked at, I say listen, there's no way you can give me anybody but a, but I'll round
it off and say this. Pittsburgh came back because this Pittsburgh and you know they weren't going to roll over and die. But the fact that they came back and made plays down the stretch and Andre Schmidt comes in and he's kicking by the logo. He came in looking like he knew it was going in. Shout out to the Browns right now, bro, because at the end of the day, the city is so lit right now, bro. Three in one and you got an opportunity to go again and go play the Jets next week to go four in one. Oh, we've recalibrated. The recalibration is in full effect. God, I want to recalibrate. I'm just, I don't know if I'm looking at Fools Gold or the real thing. But I'm going to enjoy it for a day. Last night was, we always give the credit to the quarterback. We give the blame to the quarterback. But in reality, it was a complimentary football win. Again, the defense stood up when they had to stand up and that last stand, I'm looking
at the clock and I said, 10 seconds, we left them too much time. This is Aaron Rogers. That's a long and and Andre Schmidt, I love him, but kicking the ball into the end zone there really hurt us. So they're at the 35, 40 yard line, wherever you get in on a touchback these days and the he's down field and the balls in the air and I'm thinking he's going to catch it. There's going to be one second left. They're going to call a time out. Pittsburgh is going to kick a field. Well, that's conditioning. Yeah. That's called mental conditioning. When they scored the touchdown, I said, they're going to get the two point conversion. They're going to win it over time. These are Browns things. You started your talk by saying, we're seeing very Browns, unlike Browns activity here. In the past, we lose that game. I talked last week about culture on Monday after the win against Carolina and I said, it's weird because normally the culture and that stadium and in that building is you lose games like that. The hardest thing to do when you guys all know this, we've talked about this at length on the show is to reverse the culture.
That monkey has done it in the first quarter of the season. He's turned the culture around. There was a real sense of calm that I thought, DeShawn Watson displayed on that last drive. He made some really nice throws. He took the bad sack. I thought the sack took him out of field goal range and I thought, oh, now the ball's going to fall two yards short. It's because he got that sack. And if you missed that field goal, the goal is where they are. Look where they are with 10 seconds to go. So I loved Todd Monkin after the game. He said, I looked at him and I said, can you make it? He said, I can make it. He said, go kick it. And then he jokingly said, but don't miss because if you miss, they've got it right there with one of the best kickers in the history of the NFL. And he said, I didn't really say that to him. But I thought that. And I listened to Schmidt's news conference after the game. You said you never looked up. I don't think he had to either. He is the absolute prototypical kicker. He talked afterwards. He didn't seem like he was thrilled.
He just said, I knew I was going to make it. You know, I've been putting balls in the nets. That's what I'm doing. That would have been good from 70. You're right. So there are a lot of nitpicking things that we can talk about. The penalties are outrageous. Absolutely. Absolutely going to be leading the league in penalties after four weeks. Well, they were second after three weeks. And no one's going to get 15 penalties a week and we four. Has anybody ever seen three penalties called on one play on the same team? No. I don't think I've ever seen this. I mean, it was insane. And it was the time they were getting them. And it was just mind blowing. But on this day, we've got to celebrate. There is a lot that we can nitpick apart. But man, the Sean Watson hats off to you, brother. Hats off to you. He's smiling. He's having fun playing football again. Much more to get into on the Cleveland Browns. Three and one start to the 2026 season. We're going to grade to Sean. Not just for the first half or the second quarter, but for the whole game. Let's see what the grades are with the ultimate Cleveland Sports Show.

And what a way to celebrate with none other. The Dort Light. Yeah, I call it the Cleveland Lean. Walking out of the stadium. About every five feet, you see someone, they're about to go down. They were excited last night. I was really disappointed, but it's the Steelers. How many Steelers fans were there? When they scored that last touchdown, you didn't hear the groan. You heard the roar. Yeah, on TV, you didn't really hear the...
Yeah, I wondered how it translated, but I really noticed you still had it in the stadium. There was some right front of me, and there were some in the Inzo. It was closest to me. So I saw a lot of them. But I heard a loud crowd on that. Yeah, all the crowd was a 10 out of 10. On TV, you would not be the... I don't know, you thought, yeah, I didn't notice these things. The yellow top were... There was a bunch of them in the Inzo, where they scored the touchdowns. They were a four-score guy. And that's where they sit, because that's where the touchdowns are. I was doing a wash party, so my volume is not actually going. But I'm glad they was there. I need you to be front row center when you get smoked. Yeah, it was fun. It was fun. It was cool. Well, you're here for all of them at the end of the game. And watching them have to leave with their head down. And also, I mentioned in the commercial break, we saw an exchange where Aaron Rogers, 42, going on five, was pounding and stomping his foot, and then they immediately take the camera of Mike McCarthy. I'm not going to say what he said. Oh, yeah, I think everybody's still watching. They're not saying what they were saying, because I like my job. Everybody that watched the game, no, they were not. No, they were not. Not my first rodeo, Mike. But... Just want to make sure that anybody that could read lit,
it wasn't hard to figure out what he was saying. And I thought in that moment, I go, how nice to see the Steelers doing that instead of us. It was a frustrating night for Pittsburgh and for Aaron Rogers. I took to light all of their shenanigans, all of them. Especially, do they show when... All of them. In the fourth quarter, TJ Watt was out a lot. He was coming in and out. When he was on the sidelines, he was antagonizing the crowds. So, but he kept doing this right here. Yeah, and he does the sure side. Yeah, and then they cut to him after the field goal was made. And he didn't look so happy. And I can't say when Aaron Rogers, Aaron Rogers, was kind of pulling the crowd. Yup. I really, someone said Jared Vers was out there. Jared Vers, I think, set the tempo. You guys lose to the Steelers very often because you let them come in here and push you around. Embole you. He set the tone last night. There were a couple times where they gave iceos of the aftermath where he's pushing guys and shoving guys. And he basically was saying, we're not taking that anymore. The old Browns are dead.
I don't know if TV showed this, but Jerry Vers tried to fight three Steelers offensive lineman at the buzzer. There was two of them there that he took on. And the third one came and he dropped the gloves and said, let's go. Wow. And the people from the Browns sideline had to come up. Drag him away. He's not shown up in the box score a ton, but he's changing the game in different ways. And I definitely think he is setting that physical tempo. We played a physical football game last night. Let's do this. Let's hand out grades for DeShawn Watson. You can go first. Gee, Bush. Listen, man, here's what I'm going to say. DeShawn Watson at this point has earned the right to not be judged throughout the row. Let's just keep that in mind. I agree with that. He's starting quarterback. That's it. At this point, the way he is played and got his team backing potential, sometimes when you're the starting quarterback and you starting, you're going to have some good quarters. You're going to have some bad quarters. You have some good throws. You're going to have some bad throws. But every single time that he puts his throw or bad throw in the football field, it's not no, let's take him out.
Shawn Watson has played well enough that he's earned the right that people is rallying around him. I thought in that first quarter and that first half, he played just as good as any time I've ever seen him in Houston. I thought his mobility was crazy. I thought he was putting a ball on the money. And the thing that really impressed me the most the first time was the first series, or second series he came out. He threw two passes to Dinsale Boston. They was spot on. The two deep passes. First of all, they was pass interference calls. First of all, both of them should have been pass interference. But I loved the fact that he came out and was aggressive and went after him. The little 23 guy, I thought for the stealing, they traded Joey Porter, Jr., right? I think he victimized 23. They stole his lunch money every time they had an opportunity. They was like, listen, we're going to find you, Dinsale Boston going to find you. And I thought he said a tone like, okay, look, we're going to throw the ball deep. We might not get it, but we're going to get it. To me, I look at this game for the first half
for the second half, you can say, all right, well, he didn't play very well in that second half, but I got to give him, I got to give him a B plus or a for the entire game. And the reason I got to give him that is because when it counted and it was down, yes, he had to turn over, but what happened again? You walked them right down the field. They got the field vote and they won against a division right. I can't put two grades in the slot for the grade card. It's only a box that's one letter. So what do I put? I'm going to say, I'm going to grade him up. He got the vote. You're going to get the A. I'm going to give him the A, A minus you have to, right? Look, hand up, I said it. This team cannot score three touchdowns in a game. They scored three in the first half. You know, and they're missing guys, right? But then he's making the scramble. He's making the fourth quarter game winning drive. He's escaping people all day, he's coming back. Like, he was really good for much of the game. And those misses should have, could have come back to bite them. They didn't. What he did in the fourth quarter, again, earned Semine Gray because the result is what matters the most.
And it was his playmaking it, various times, not just on that last drive. They got it there. I was still in a state of shock after the game and I did a live post game yesterday. And I actually gave him a C plus. And then I thought about it overnight in this morning and Lima texted me. He's like, dude, I watch your podcast. Thanks, Lime. I appreciate it. He's like, you were too hard with you grade on DeShant Watson. So I factored, Lime is criticism, man. I thought about it. He's in your head, Bull. And the more I, no, but I was already kind of saying like, yeah, I get it. Because I was like, oh, he was an A in the first half, but he played Lousy in the second half, but he still made throws on that final drive. And the second, the good, you know, in the first couple of weeks, the defense allowed him to make those comebacks. Yeah. This week, his play allowed him to not play great for part of the second half and still be able to win it. So I raised up to a B plus. B plus was unfair. I'll go B plus. He was, Jay, like I had to, I said, bro, when did he start moving like that?
He started smiling. He started getting that bounce. And by the way, my bounce is like, I saw a quarterback scale just like everybody else. Yeah, not the, not the, no, no expectation. Like if it was the DeShant scale or the Browns quarterback scale, I'd say, hey, but for me, I'm like, grading him just like everybody else, B plus. Yeah. No more, no more curves. It's interesting. If you look at it like an academic year, there's the first semester and there's the second semester. Yeah. And in the first semester, he got off to a terrible start, three and out. And then he had to watch Aaron and the Steelers go on a 77 play, 422 minute drive. I literally, I'm looking at the clock going. It was crazy. We're not going to touch it again in the first quarter. It was unbelievable. So I thought a lot of the energy left the building when the Steelers went up seven nothing. And I thought, oh, now it's, now it's going to be tough for DeShant, because he no longer has that Monday night introduction crowd behind him, which by the way, the offense was introduced. He was introduced last. I thought it was very nice reception from the crowd. Very nice. There were scatters of booze, but overall,
it was a nice, it was a nice reaction to DeShant. There won't be any in the Baltimore game. No way. Probably not. Unless the Jets game goes horribly wrong. Yeah, you're right. So in the first half, he was an A. There's no other way to look at it. I love the game plan where, okay, Pittsburgh, you've got three weeks to take, we try to run the ball here and there, and we throw the ball three yards down the field. Three of his first four throws were beyond 20 yards. Yeah. He just backed up and started, I'm letting it rip, which is what I said, I hope he did. And that, I think, got into Pittsburgh's defense's head. What is this? We weren't ready for this. So now those safeties can't peek into the Batfield and start loading up on the run. There was a couple of times, there were a couple of times where, at one instance, they were in cover zero, and there were nine or 10 in the box. And it was early in the down sequence. I think it was either first and 10 or maybe second eight, something like that. And I thought for sure he was gonna check out of that play
and take a rip and they did. They ran the ball and they got nothing. They got stuffed at the line of scrimmage. So I would still like to see a little bit more improvising at the line and changing things. I would need to do that a couple of times, throughout the night. But in general, the first half was an A plus. That is the guy that we thought we were getting when we traded for him. Yeah. And then in the second semester, the second half of the game, it was the disson that we had seen all the way up until this year. It was throwing ball on the guy's feet. He's got fan and wide open in the flats. If he gets that, he turns and probably runs for another 15 or 20 yards. Even at that point, if you don't keep the drive alive, you move the chains, now they've got a longer field to work with. And he inexplicably threw it way behind him. And it's odd because when I'm watching a Stafford or Maholves or Burrow, they have throws like that occasionally.
But when you know that that's a one off, but when Deshaun Watson throws it, you're like, uh-oh, here we go again. I don't know where he's gonna throw the ball now. But when the game was on the line, and this would be the final exam, was that last drive, that's your final exam, and usually professors will weigh that more heavily than anything else in the semester. I can't give him a MA plus for that final drive, but I can give him a MA. Uh, I hated that he took that sack. I guess he had had a conversation with Schmidt before the drive started, and Schmidt said, get me to the 42. If you get me to the 42, I can hit it. Now think about that guys. 60 yard bounce. 60 yard feelable and Zach, I know, I don't know if how it came across on TV, but the uprights were moving the entire night. It was weird, it was a beautiful night, but it was windy. He actually looked at the end of the game when Deshaun Watson was sitting on the sideline. He had his, he had the towel on, and he knew like, in his heart, he like, please make this, because when he took the sack, he immediately knew it. I'm sure he thought about it.
And so Schmidt comes out, he daps him up, and by the way, I know, listen, one guy who made a crazy play, Jerry Judy. It was a Jerry Judy tie. It's off the neck, Zach, two big plays. The one he caught over the middle was a crazy pass. He caught the ball, and he got leveled. Yeah, and he, see, I, look, you got it even when Jerry Judy start catching on his targets. That means this really something different. He had one catch the whole game and what, five on the year before that last drive. Two on the last drive. Two on the year. Two on the year. Two on the year. Two on the year. Two on the year. Well, what was interesting is Dishon said in post game, you know, everyone's going to get it, get their opportunity. And it was kind of like, almost like he was telling his own story. And he was talking about Jerry Judy, making the plays on that last drive. And he said, I always tell my guys, you're going to get your opportunity, and when you get it, be ready. And I literally was like, wow, that's literally his story in the macro.
You're going to get a chance. Todd Monkin named you the quarterback. Monkin told a story in post game that was fascinating. He said a couple of weeks ago, seven weeks ago, we were going over the playbook and everything for the bills. And he said to him, wow, look where we are right now. Look, look, and I was just, I thought, was brilliant for Monkin to say, look where you are. You're about to go out and start a game at the NFL. You probably thought you were never going to get that opportunity again. And I thought that was really key, because what it told me was he was already bought in to DeShaw Watson. He knew DeShaw Watson was going to be his guy going into that Buffalo game. And then afterwards, he said, after the Buffalo game, I didn't know where we were. I didn't know where we were going. I had no idea. And so when DeShaw Watson goes up to Jerry Judy, who's the Reclamation Project at this point, and says, listen, man, I'm going to need you. I'm going to need you in this game. You're going to get your opportunity just be ready. And then he delivers on that. He throws two critical passes to him on that last drive.
Long story short, I can't give him an A. I'd love to. I thought the final drive to get them into field goal position was vintage DeShaw. I hated this act. There were just a couple of little things here and there. And I'm going to grade him on an NFL quarterback scale. Now you're right, Bull. I'm already doing it. I'm not grading him on the well for DeShaw. And that was a good game. No, we're not going to do that anymore. You've proven that you can be a successful NFL quarterback. So for that reason, I'm going to give him a B+. Postes I can get to an A. But all in all, we've got a couple of A's, couple of B+. Who thought that would be the case after week four? No, by way. Jay, I like the way you structure with the final exam analogy. I kind of look at it working backwards. Just the fact that they weren't thinking and dunking was huge progress. They came out aggressive. And it wasn't great all the way. But the end result was, and that is huge progress. You saw better from the run game. You saw better from the line. And I think that was helped by the quarterback being willing to rip it down the field early. I don't think I'm a gas in it here. But I'm saying that's the best defensive line they face this year.
Yeah. Of course. I mean, the guys they have. Oh, and I mean, there's two Hall of Famers on that. Yeah, and I know TJ is dinged up, and he's on a plate count and all of that. But like that offensive line is held together with band-aids and they were out there. And they stood up. That plate TJ Watmey, where he like reached behind him, the knock the ball out. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like that's a whole a fame level play. Yeah, that's what he does. 37 takeaways in his career. Yeah. Force fumbles. And when he forced the fumble on to Sean, I thought, here we go. That's the downward spiral. But they put on the brakes and they manage to keep the plane in the air. Great job by the old line in this. Great job. Much more Browns talk to come later in this half hour and later in the next hour. I saw this stat earlier this week about how much better the guardians offense has been since the trade deadline when they acquired Joe Adele and Nathaniel Low plus some other pieces pitching staff stuff. But the difference pre-trait deadline post trade deadline is crazy.
Take a look at some of these numbers toward the guardians ranking the American League in some significant and important offensive statistics prior to those deals. Verse after batting average up from 14 to third runs 14 to third OPS 15 to second F ward which I don't even know what it means. But you just do it. It looks good. They look good. Yeah. It looks good. They jumped 11th to second and 14th. The first bull and J you guys can explain with some of those super advanced space. Well, you know, runs created pluses. But how about that? How about that guys? Yeah. And by the way, they're there. Fifth in the majors in OPS in Zogas 20 behind four the playoff teams in the national league. So their number one in OPS since August 20. So I don't care what their stats are for the season. This is a different team right now. This is a better offense right now. They have reliable hitters in most spots in the lineup. We'll see if they can do it in the playoffs. But I'm feeling you know how I've been feeling about this team. I feel very good about that. Well, I am from jump.
I like their chances in the playoffs. I just think there's more threats. I think the it's going to be interesting. They don't have to lock in the roster till tomorrow morning. Zach and I were discussing. Could the guardians get really crazy in this first round and go 11 pitchers, 15 hitters and bring up man Zardo or Cooper Ingle for potential power. It can't be on your roster. He would not be. No. No. It's an interesting one. How many guys go from opening day starter to that on the. I don't have one of the rest of the balls. Yeah, no, he would not. I don't. That's great. I don't know where you can put him in and where you trust him. Yeah, you could say well, we move to the pan and he can go long relief, but do you trust him in long relief? No, no, no. I don't trust his stuff anymore. No, and especially if you're only going to keep 11 pitches, but even if they keep 12, I mean, I would not have them on the roster. Zach thinks they should pitch instead of foster riffing in game three that they should go the usp. No, I can't tell. Oh, come on. Yeah, I'm not doing it. I'm just doing it because I saw one ball a bullpen game display off.
Yeah. And it blew up right. But that's face I don't want to do it. I don't want to do it. I hear you. You're telling me then that you're that you're trust level. Yeah. Whether it's a combo or not, it's who you're starting the game with in Houston's case in game one, he didn't get out of the first inning and the game was over. Yeah, but the white socks did a bullpen game too. No, I know it can work. I'm just saying these are the I don't. You're trying to put that in a basket. I want to count on him. No, these are the biggest games of the year. Stop trying to get gimmicky and cute. I don't think it's gimmicky and cute to all teams do it. Yeah, they do it. They don't do it in the playoffs. We've seen two bullpen games in the playoffs. One work one didn't. I just the and the guardians down the stretch tried it a little bit. Yeah, they had some success with it, but they also had a game where Espino didn't get out of the first or second inning. I think it was the first inning. He was pulled. Is it circumstantial though if they're up to or you find with it? No, I'm fine with it if it's too. Okay. If it's too. You got a game to burn. I'm fine with that. He's had a good year. What, you know, trust your guys. Yeah. Mike, I'm glad that you put those two guys up there, but and I know it wasn't a trade deadline
move, but look at the move for Bailey. Yeah. Well, I killed that move, by the way. Yeah. You got rid of one one 40 hitter for another one. Yeah. Because that's where Bo Nale that's where they were living. He's been incredible for us. Yeah, he is. Can you get his splits for me in what he's done since it's come to Cleveland? He's actually probably. Yeah, I think he's doubled his batting average. His OPS is up. He's been a viable piece to this team. So I think it's a combination of a lot of things. First and foremost, you have to give the front office an A plus for the moves they've made since opening day. They've been on the money. Nine home runs. Yeah. That's that's the nine home runs. Good. The other numbers are not very good. Listen, I've listened to the great. The list of the best was hard work. Well, listen, for catcher for a position that we for the last how many years have just said, just catch the port catch the baseball from the pitcher. That's all we want you to do. Jay, this is providing offense. These are his numbers in San Francisco before the train. Oh, I know what they were. So you see these, these are just with Cleveland, right? His numbers in San Francisco. Yeah, it was not good. 30 games.
I'll take those numbers. He had to take those up. Please, please, please, please. Yeah. So you can see the compiler. Yeah, he was. He's been. Oh, let me give him a minute. Let me read the numbers. They can't even get the number. This is Cleveland. Before Cleveland, he hit 146 and had a 396 OPS. Yeah. Yeah. I'm saying it's a lot better. No, but, yeah, well, again, like you used the Dishonng grading scale. I'm using the Guardians catch your grading scale. All right. I'm going to take that. Yeah, I mean, that's better than I did. Yeah, yeah. He's been much better offensively. Yeah. So I think there's a lot of things. But yeah, I think Adele has definitely helped. Yeah. And I like both of those moves. I think low is help. But I also think they settled into a pretty much an everyday lineup. As much as you can have an everyday lineup today. You were screaming that all year. I hated it. Yeah. And I think that was absolutely driving me nuts. I'm sure it was driving the players nuts. I'm not sure. I had mentioned in July, guys, I'm really worried about the body language of Stephen Vogue. I think I said it was late July when I said it.
But I said, I think he wants to be anywhere but the Guardians dug out right now. And this is totally hypothetical. This is just me watching the games, trying to put things together. He looked like he wasn't happy. And I wouldn't be happy either if that's the lineup card that you're playing Bingo lineup card every day. They had 111 games and 104 different starting lineups. You cannot do that. And I don't know that this happened. I would love to talk to Zach and see what he knows about it. I think what happened was there probably was a come to Jesus where Stephen Vogue, and this is in my hypothetical mind, I'm not reporting anything, I think he went to management and said, guys, look, I'm two for two on manager the year. I'm two for two on AL Central Division titles. I'm doing something that's positive here. I'm not all in on this platoon nonsense. Let's settle on a lineup. So these guys have some sort of certainty that they're gonna play or they're not. And let's see what happens with it.
I don't even understand how that's even began to be a thing anyway. Well, I don't even remember when he was hired at some training he said platoon is a bad word to me. And I thought, uh-oh. Yeah, and then came, I immediately said, and just because every team does it, doesn't mean it's a good issue. And every team doesn't do it to the extent that we were doing. This was a great, and every team is still platooning though in some spots. Well, Bulls, you're going to. And listen, teams used to do it in the 90s. You can't platoon every day. And that's what I'm saying. There are gonna be matchups that you look at and you just say, no, this one is just too obvious. But why is on El Martino's not in the lineup every day? Is it switch hitter? Why are you venturing them at all? And so when he started playing every day, and we settled on the lineup, and I don't know if this happened, again, I'm just guessing, but to me, Steven Vult went from looking like a guy that wanted to hit the eject button, to all of a sudden, and winning will do this, the fun was back in the dugout, and a smile was on his face again, and he's having fun again.
And I don't know it, but I think that maybe there was a conversation where he said, give me some latitude on the lineup. I can't get an email from stats and analytics every morning, and they have them say, this is my lineup. And since they've done that, there's feel and gut to baseball. There really is. It's not all a computer and a calculator. Since they've done that and the trade moves, I think everything has fallen into place, and that's why their numbers offensively are back to where they should be, because I go back to when he was hired in spring training that year, somebody said platoon, and he goes, I don't like that word, that's a bad word. And I immediately thought, uh-oh, he's conditioning the media, we're going to get a lot of this. Little did I know how much we were going to get of it, but I think now what we're seeing is a blending of analytics and gut, and that's how you win. You can't do it all analytically, you can't. And you can't do it all by gut. I don't think they were ever doing it that way. They were the most platoon team in major league baseball.
And they still use 130 different lineups this year. Yes, but bull they used to 104 through 111 games. That means over the last 52 games, they only used 26 lineups. That's a change every other day. They were changing every day. I don't think they changed, they added different players. So I just, I don't think it says the drill, I don't think there was really a shift in how they were doing. I don't know, I disagree. I think they were the most platoon team. And by the way, they got other players. The team, the second team on that list of different lineups through 111 games was like in the 50s. So we weren't just leading the league. We were lapping the field. I think you can't do that. I think as you transition to the playoffs, I look at game one and for a young team and for guys that are getting their feet wet in the playoffs, I think game one is pivotal. I think game one is pivotal. Like winning the game. Do you like Parker Messick on the bump then? Yes, I do. I think he's been a guardian's best pitcher. And I think Gavin Williams shrugged a little bit, but you got two guys.
You got two aces. You got two dudes. They can go out there and throw beautiful games and get these dudes off the sticks. But I think for their psyche, I think the makeup of this team, winning game ones that puts you in a perspective where, okay, it calms you down a little bit. Now you can get back in a game too. I would like them to be too up-going back to Chicago. We saw all the numbers. How different they were in the last two months of this season. The best way to validate those moves further is to go out and get hot in the playoffs. Give your guys a lead. 100% to get that crowd going. Are you okay with Parker? Yeah, I'm fine with that. I think you were a little on the first. I would have started Gavin Williams game one, but it is no bad answer. It's a toss up. Zach actually made a good point that the only day where there's back-to-back games in this series is games three and four. And game three is going to either be Griffin or Cantillo, maybe with an opener. And then having Messick in game four, he's, while Gavin Williams is the higher upside of the two, Messick is more steady and more reliable.
I agree. And so you're less worried about the bullpen in the one game in game four when you played the day before. Right. And so that kind of makes sense. So I understand why he did it this way. I don't think there was a wrong answer. I don't know how it was sold to the pitchers. I don't Messick yesterday was on Cloud 9 that he was going to get to start. I think the way you sell it to Gavin is, look, you're our game five. Yeah, yeah. So it's now, when we get to that point, I'm going to harken back to what he does in game two. Because I think that his last start against the Royals probably cost him getting game one. I think he pitched well in that game and composed the thing about Messick that's shocking to me. And I saw this last year when he came up as a rookie late in the year. I'm like, wow, this guy's not afraid of the moment at all. He gets the ball. He looks in and he throws. He works. And that rhythm upsets the hitters. They don't like that. And I like the fact that Messick is starting game one.
I hope that Gavin has a good game too. Because if he does it, you're talking about two leverage starts in a row. Even though the Royals were a bad team, he was expected to go out there and turn down. He walked three guys in the first inning. By the way, looking ahead a little bit, I know people get nervous about this. But if you did win it for a less, you'd have Gavin and Messick be able to pitch one and two with the ALCM. And that's what you hope. You don't want to go to five, ideally. All right, we're going to take our final break of the hour when we come back. The Browns defense, holy cow. Holy cow, how impressed are you with what they've done so far? And what if Mason Graham has a lengthy absence? And it's looking that way. We'll talk all about that when we come right back. Welcome back to the Ultimate Cleveland Sports Show. Today's episode sponsored by PCC Airfoils, keeping the engines of change moving forward. Guys, let's talk about the Browns defense. Todd Munkin is going to speak to the media. In about 13 minutes, we're expecting some sort of update to the Mason Graham injury situation.
But Ian Rappaport on Good Morning football this morning reported that the Browns believe that Graham dodged a bullet and quote, maybe it will not be as significant of a knee injury as it was previously believed. Mary K tweeted that he left the game on Crutches last night and Rappaport this morning saying, it may be not as significant as it initially looked. The bullet would have been ACL. Yes. That was what we were all fearing last night. So if it's not ACL, then it's probably not season ending. Early search of chance that it's not. In the chance that it's not. I mean, even if it's a PCL or MCL, that can be a lengthy rehab. And it's dicey as to whether or not he could be back using the whole weeks. It's pretty quick for one of those. We'll see. Let's hope for the best. Obviously it's going to be a devastating injury. He's going to shame. Oh, he's playing so well. Yeah, he was out there cooking. But you know, you hope that he gets back. But I guess the bright side to it is,
I mean, I was super impressed with just everybody up front. I just was super aiding Huntington, man. That guy is a problem. He is a menace up front with his get off. I thought he played tremendously well. I thought Mike Carl Jr. went out of the game, came back in. I thought he played well. Malik Collins was a monster inside. Like he looks like he's in full season form. And just the way that the Browns defense in line was playing, I was joking on the live stream. I said, it looks like there's literally 12 or 13 Cleveland Browns on the football field. And importantly about Mike Hall, there's a chance he has a significant injury also. But he went back in the game. It was unbrained. And so I think it's just a high ankle spray. I don't think it's like heart surgery. Yeah, but he went back in the game and had a sack. I know he had a sack. I'm like, what's he doing with that in there? Yeah, it's right. They were shocked on the broadcast. They didn't realize he was back in the game. I neither. He made the sack. And I said, like, oh, same way, because I'm like, all right, I know they only have four active defensive tackles.
So I know who the two is going to be. And they came out for the second drive. And I'm like, that's not Collins. That's all. My age, I'm staring down there. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, my Rudy moment. It might be. And I know it's a short, small sample size. And nobody on his defense individually is anywhere close to Miles Garrett. But they look like a much better defensive line than they ever looked with him. Well, they're playing well. I mean, that's hard to say. But what teams are blocking them differently? But they have said for two weeks now, really, three. We are going to get middle penetration and get these quarterbacks off their spot. We are going to be in there. That was Schwarz's whole deal, whether it was Miles or not. We are going to make plays that, whether they stope, show up on the stat sheet or not, affect the other teams play collar and the other teams quarterback. And they have done that, like, on 70% of the draft. What was crazy on that first drive, they didn't really blitz Aaron Rogers at all. And he looked like Aaron Rogers vintage 10 years ago in Green Bay. Well, even on that last drive, I mean, that was a great throw to the end zone
that Roger made. That was an unbelievable, yeah. That was the throw can probably be a real guy to believe he can make it. That was other worthy. But my point is that first drive, I didn't think they were getting after him with X and after blitzers at all. And then from that point on, they were coming with stunts and exotics and all kinds of things. And it wasn't one guy. The amazing thing is if we could put that graphic up again that shows all the individual sack tools, Jared verse has none. The five guys that have registered sacks and probably more they have more than five. We can only fit five on a graph. Yeah. And Jared verse doesn't have one. And we're getting pressure from the inside, which I think I'm watching the old Tampa Bay Buccaneers with Warren Saap. When did, you know, we've never gotten pressure up the middle like that. They're mixing. When Rupert Burgess gets in his mind, all right, here's what we're gonna do. We're just gonna move around. The thing that this defense does really well is their team speed. When you watch Aiden Huntington and his get off, when you watch Isaiah Mavoy, who I think is playing super duper over what people
expect to him to play. But when you get Quincy Williams and you get Carson Swaystinger mugged up in those A-gaps, and these dudes, you don't know if they're gonna, come on a blitz, you don't know if they're gonna, stunt, drop back. But the fact that they're able to be up there and then have enough athleticism and speed to get to their drops and coverage is devastating. These guys, they're one of the fastest, no lie. They're one of the fastest defense defenses in the game. And then I thought the really thing that really helped them out was Denzel Ward getting that interception. You gotta remember the time periods, seven, nothing they were doing that game. Denzel Ward, they got the ball back. Aaron Rodgers had just walked them down the field for eight minute drive. It was crazy. Denzel Ward basically ran the route for the receiver. And you saw Aaron Rodgers face like this. Yeah, okay, I know you. I was stunned, that was Denzel's first pick against Pittsburgh. And it was the first time Aaron Rodgers has ever thrown an interception against the Browns. He hasn't played them a lot.
By the way, one player, one player we haven't mentioned, and one player we haven't mentioned much at all, yet another rookie, Emmanuel McNeil Warren. That play, I can't remember who the receiver was on that play. But remember that play when they initially called pass in the field? Yeah, it's not there perfectly. Right, that was an unbelievable play. Does anybody remember who the receiver was? It was Metcalf and he did it on two separate occasions. He had two started down pass, but there was one that they had called pass in the field. Yeah, the one you're talking about that was to Metcalf, which by the way, late in the game, why was Denzel not on Metcalf War? Well, they don't do that, Jay. They had to do it against Carolina because of the circumstances. Oh, I thought we were going to see more of that. They don't do it very well. But I don't love that. That's not who they are. But who they are is working. No, I know. Who they are is. It's working, but Aaron was glad that he wasn't on him because that's who he was going to late in the game when they had to get down the field. He, Aaron Rodgers, he just talked about glimpses of Deshaun Wassien. Aaron Rodgers had that last drive.
Boy, the pass he threw to Metcalf was crazy. The Darnell Washington, what he's a corner cross the screen, throws back across. That was amazing. And then he sees that Darnell Washington is trailing and is going to run into a collision. He throws a back shoulder to stop the receiver to give him an opportunity to catch it and brace. I say, yo, this is different. And then the two point conversion, he looks and realizes there's no no tackle over the center, calls the own number and he's sneaking in. Like can we talk about the play before that though? Like we know that Aaron Rodgers has the best hard count in the game. And we took the cheese a couple of times and Jared Vers, jumping in that situation, can't have that. How many pedals do you have? It goes to how they play. It's the cost of grown business. Jay, you're right. It's crucial. I know you're anticipating. But you know this guy is the master of the hard snap count. And he's him for a reason. He's the greatest natural thrower of the football that's ever lived.
I agree with that 100%. The flicks, quickly the ball comes out. The angles. Oh, the no look. Passed the war. That was the 42. I know. He's 42 years old. He was in the same draft as Charlie Fry. Stop. Are you kidding me? No, I'm not. That's true. Oh my God. Oh my God. It was in the first round on the Packers took Aaron Rodgers. These dudes have been done for years. That can't be. We have jobs. That can't be. 10 years have been done. How many quarterbacks have the bronze drafted since the Packers? When we run out of singers, but I'll count them up real. Oh, I love them. How? Charlie Fry. Oh my God. I feel like we were on no HD back then. I'm a standard definition. For sure. Imagine even as well as he was playing, Dishon Watson was outplaying him for a large stretch of the football. Yeah. I know he did. He was making throw. I'm like, this is crazy. Am I in 2000? I thought this was Houston, Texas versus the Packers. Because I was like, where did these two dudes come from?
And I know it's just the quarter pole, but sometimes you hand out awards at the quarter pole. Your coach of the year is unquestionably Todd Munkin. I think your coordinator of the year is probably Rootinburg because everybody expected this huge drop off. If in no other region, aspect of the game, the pass rush, they haven't dropped off. You'd have to give a case for the Raiders coach, too, but if they go to the other one. Absolutely. Are you there for or no? I got to know what I think is. Who could be there? Who could be there? I think that's the rookie coach. It's just like, it's funny how these old guys that, guys that we, five years ago, said now he's too old. We don't want them. Are going out there. Now, look at the Chicago game Monday night. This kingdom looks, and he's younger, obviously, than when Flacco had his rebirth, but there's something to be said for these 15-year veterans that have worn a lot of different helmets. They're having success. Yeah, note that thought, Jake. Yeah, note that thought, you know why? Because if you have a 16th pick, you're not going to have a rookie starter next year. You're going to have one of these old guys.
We probably will. You're right. But that's okay. They're proven to be nice little bridges. You know what I mean? You know, you're right. It can work. Right? You're on the same page with the coach. What's most encouraging about this whole thing, right? And we've talked about 10 things. Is it poorly as it went in a week one? Look how we think of Todd Monkin and Mike Routenberg now. They bounce back. I know. The team is ready. The team is improving. It was not just a blip. It was a disaster, but guess what they've done? They've won every game since. And all their hydraphics, their first four fifth round picks for the last two years outside of Villain Gabriel look like absolute hits. Well, I was just going to say this. Take all of the top, take all of the draft picks from the last two years off the field last night. What do you have? Not much. Not much. Let me tell you something. He talked about Villain Gabriel. The last time I seen Villain Gabriel, he was cooking too. You're right. Yeah. It's pretty easy, but he was our two on deck.
Jay Crawford. Adam the Bull. Garrett Bush. Dustin Fox. Jason Lloyd. Tyvis Powell. Zach Jackson. Plus producer Mike McNuggets. And so many others. The ultimate Cleveland Sports Show. The Cleveland Grounds are three and one Andre spent for 56 yards away. Drills the game one in kick to put the grounds in sole possession of first place in the AFC North for the first time since 2014. Friday the two victory parties in one week. I don't think I can't remember last time that happened. Victory Monday, victory Friday.
What a great way to book end a week. It's the beautiful way. It was so beautiful that I had to. Oh, wow. People's jack melt is out. We are back and running up and we're running a score. Jay. Oh boy, you thought like Jake is like, what is this? I haven't seen that years. Yeah, yeah, that's that three and one. You ain't seen it. Bull, like, where did you get this? We thought we threw this away with the old set. Absolutely not. The Cleveland Grounds are back in the business. We got the Steelers and we in first place, baby. You know what we're doing. Who they might be. Yeah, I'm afraid to flex because I think that this team is good. They come back to earth and like, wow, three and one got three and one got to make you recalibrate, bro. Yeah, I think it will. And now you should beat the jets. Let's go. Go be sure. Yeah, I think the jets are probably saying, hey, we got the Browns at home. They can't be saying that the Browns at three and one. Yeah, but but what you don't erase decades of, oh no, incompetence.
But they've had great wins of incompetence too. But they're looking pretty good right now, aren't they? They're one and two. We don't. You don't erase it with three wins. But the reality is after a week one complete disaster, they've improved in multiple days. Absolutely. The defense is giving winning efforts. The offense is still not perfect, but getting better. Yeah. And like, these games have not been flukes. They've been strange, but they've not been flukes. Yeah. The defense has absolutely balled out in all of them in the offense at different times has done its part. Three straight game winning drives by DeShawn Watson in the fourth quarter. Yesterday on the show, Mikey had a stat. The last time, a Cleveland Browns quarterback engineered back to back, fourth quarter game winning drives in the final four minutes was Brian Sight in 1980. So anytime you're compared to Brian Sight, that means Bernie Kossard didn't do it. That's a crazy stat. Now he's got three game winning drives within four minutes to go of the final gun.
And was that stat just touchdown drive, Michael? Was it just game winning drives? It was last quarterback to throw game winning touchdowns in the final four minutes. But now the last quarterback to lead three consecutive game winning drives is Brian Sight from that same season. Ironically. So kids, it was a two for two in terms of throwing the game when he touched down pass. It is now three for three in game. Winning drives the last time a Browns quarterback had done that 1980. So we had, I'm thinking that was 1979 though. The cardiac kids, weren't they? 80, 80. I thought they lost in the playoffs to the Oakland Raiders on Red Write 88. And I guess I'm misremembering it. I thought that was the 79 season. But I'm sure Mikey's right. If that's what the numbers show. Our number two got Adam Abel, Zach Jackson, the people's champ, the leader of the Kool-Aid Mafia, G-Bush, J Crawford, Mike McNuggets, behind the glass.
Are they really this good guys? Yes. Listen, yeah, I'll say this and I'm giving credit. The thing about sports that I love the most is you can come out here and it don't matter how much money you make, don't matter, you know, how much you got what you're looking for. When you come out on the football field, the only thing that matters is in between the lines of what you do. And y'all got an opportunity to either prove people wrong or right. And you got to look at the Cleveland Browns and Todd Munkin is proving people wrong. They said, nobody wanted this job. He said, I do. Dishon watching. He was out of the league. He was a couple of quarters away from not being out of the league. And now he comes back against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He's another drive to come back to get his team ahead. And his career is now all of a sudden resurrected in the Cleveland Browns and the locker room believing. So the thing is, they do on the football field is important and it's crazy that the best players that you guys have in a most impressive thing is it's all young guys.
Hashtag, New Cleveland, Quincyon Juckins, Harold Fanon, Casey K. C. C. C. C. On, Denzel Boston, Mason Graham, one of the young players. He leaves. Michael Jr. comes back in. We saw E-Man back at playing safety and they did all of this against a division rival Pittsburgh that came in and wanted to win. In the Cleveland Browns, shall I say, out physical to punch the minimum and rose to the occasion when they needed to. You can't knock the hustle and Dishon watch and salute to you brother because guess what. right now he earned a position and he earned in the right to continue to be at that position and he earns the right to continue to come out here and lead the team he was cooking. Three Sundays ago we're in Jacksonville we all watched the game it was 34 to 10 it could have been 60 to nothing the Jaguar is dropping it down right so after that game we're below the stadium in Jacksonville I don't even know what it's called we're in this room maybe a quarter size of this with half the lights of this and I'm up there listening to Todd Munkin and he says you better get us now and I'm sitting there biting my pen going this man's a little bit I can't believe I'm listening yeah and here we are talking about a three
and one brown suit he was literally a couple of days from perhaps never playing in the NFL again because I firmly believe had he laid an egg and they lost badly in Tampa he would not have been the starting quarterback for the home opener and then how will he get a chance to audition for another team I agree if they would have cut him after that Buffalo meltdown on the preseason no team were assigned him no one no one toxic toxic yet here we are a couple of weeks removed from that and jeep I just heard him say this he's no longer throw to throw he's our starting quarter is the quarterback controversy no the Shenur Sanders controversy the showing him on the sidelines every time he throws a bad pass it's over at least for a couple of games if he implodes and they lose three in a row and he's the reason then we can probably revisit this but I thought he was teetering by a thread going into the Tampa game and I think what that says I'm not even talking about the physical
attributes because he's run the ball like old the Sean but I think what that says about the makeup of the Sean Watson is he's a champion he's a survivor it's a guy that won a national championship at Clemson College this is a guy who has had a great deal of success in the NFL before and this is a guy who all four of us said coming into this season he's washed there is nothing left in the tank the gig is up the career is over and you would have had to look hard and wide to find one person that would say Sean's going to leave this team he's going to come back but there was one and it was the only one that mattered it was Todd Munkin and what I love most about that is the bond that is forming between Munkin and Deshaun Watson is critical I believe for teams to win you gotta have that ultimate trust in one another and I think they have it and I don't know how Todd Munkin I don't know what he saw I don't know why he believed that but he did
and here we are we other speak for myself even though we know most people felt this way I laughed at Todd Munkin for this decision I screamed and yelled about it it didn't make any sense there it was there was never that I could ever think of a quarterback decision that was more universally panned than starting the Sean Watson there is nobody that's fair yeah I can either there is I've never seen it all the fans wanted it to be I'm sure there were a couple of people here and there all the fans wanted it to be somebody else all the media thought it should be somebody else uh and then after the first game as Zach said we were like this guy's a complete idiot he don't know what the hell is doing right major decision he made his defense and it seemed like and we thought it was awful and it seemed like the dumbest decision and yet now he even if it goes south he's still vindicated it was still the right call to start the season yet no matter what happens
the rest of the year and the rest of his time he clearly made the right call to start this season the Sean Watson has played way better than any of us could have thought that doesn't mean he's been perfect far from it he's made some mistakes he's made some bad throws but especially I mean in the last three weeks there's clearly been more good than bad from the Sean Watson yeah I don't think he's playing weak to weak anymore you're right again the whole thing could fall apart a month from now we can be speaking of different tunes but right now this guy has as earn the starting job he's earned the right for there not to be whispers for every bad throw he makes and the team is rallying around him 100% there is no doubt in my mind even though there's no way to say this for sure that the Browns would not be three in one if the Sean Watson were not to start it I look at it like this in football it counts as a man playing a sport or anything all you can ask for is the opportunity and the opportunity to prove people right or wrong and they gave them that opportunity top monkey says something in the beginning of the season people laughed at him he said I think I got
two-star in quarterback yeah he there's like what we don't think you have any well the Sean Watson is earned the starting role Shedore Sanders actually can sit behind somebody and actually learn and bring them the right way man those are sitting there's a lot of people sitting at the end of the day top monkey has the room playing well and you got to give him credit for what he did because three in one is something a lot of people didn't see and again shout out to do Sean Watson for showing up and putting it putting putting on complimentary football quarterback has been really good offensive line has been much better than we thought defense has been better than I thought line was fantastic how about how about the punting of borkas too my god yeah I mean booming kicks last night I couldn't believe how far some of them traveled but let's give a special credit to Luke Whitler because we were all worried I thought we were going to kill there I mean I don't did he get beat once in the game no I didn't see it I don't play the hell of a game we're chasing a break uh when we come back we're going to turn our attention to the Cleveland Guardians who to I actually will talk more about the Browns Dishon Watson does it again and
Parker Messick Parker Messick gets the game one start I know we won't win Syon you won't win rookie the year but he's going to get votes probably in both talk about all of it with the bad should win 12 hours ago Cleveland was just going crazy with the Browns win 24 hours for now that guy Parker Messick will be on the ball at progressive field against these very same Chicago lights off it's Parker Messick 12 and 9 on the year ERA of 2 and a half it's had a great year nothing seems to rattle the guy he just goes out there and pitches like it's a backyard game rhythm quick worker usually keeps a manageable pitch count there's been times where he's crept up to a big number
by the fifth inning but usually he's a guy that can give you five maybe stretchy into six which in the playoffs is like eight or nine yeah by the way Jay the odds makers say Kevin McGonagall who's had a great year fantastic player I know he's going to win rookie the year to me to me Parker Messick should win and I'm not I don't maybe I'm buying maybe I'm a little bite but but what he's done he net he didn't get blown up once no the entire season that's why he's the game one starter he's been the most reliable arm he has there's been times I watch Gavin Williams this year and I'm like oh he's referred to each you let me flirt around the edges Gavin yes he did that against the royals in a huge spot you're right you're right we just put that win in the back I've come around odd and Messick being the game one star he's tremendous but he should be rookie the year he's not I think there's a lot of guys that have had really good seasons chance the lottery has had a great season yeah now listen McGonagall should be ahead of all the other hitters yeah the royals hitter that came on really late had a ton of hold on to September yes he had a great September this is I mean it's funny they're
all good rookies in both the American League and the National League it's a good time for baseball country popular belief but he should win rookie the year but he's gonna finish top three rookie the year in top three Saiyans yes he will and that's that's incredible when you think about listen I sat here for months and I told both of you guys to Sean Watson and Parker Messick are gonna start playoff games we had an our text chain I'm gonna show you how funny Zapp is in our text chain yeah we were talking last week about the game one starter and yeah what and which be it's Zach chimed in he goes I don't know all I'm thinking about right now is the AFC championship man Parker Parker Messick I think we were so now when you look at his demeanor I think I think his demeanor says game one and I think this this is a tone setter for the guardians I think with a young baseball team and and you have home home field advantage you need to have a guy out there I love the way his pace is the pace he gets up there and he's ready to go before you know it batters are up there they got to stay in the box I love the way he goes after people his change
up is nasty he's a lefty guy and I think that intensity is what we need if you can start off game one and get a win here you bring Gavin Williams in game two now all of a sudden you got an opportunity to put it in the back of the white socks head hey you better go home and win is one of these games or you could be up out of here and I think a quick series I ain't I ask for a quick series but if you get the first two and you can you can I want to see what they're about when they're down white socks have been playing from the head they had a terrible year last year they had a Cinderella year this year I want to put down in that head to say well maybe just the end of the road I don't want them going home with a split no no I think that would be really rough for us because I'm telling you that stadium that that crowd they get into it yeah and I thought it should is the guardian sweep at home white socks we can game three and then the guardians finishing game I think we both had guardians in four yeah yeah I work here when we did that no they jumped on the S twice right they jumped on right away twice and silenced that place so I agree the first couple of weeks tomorrow are huge big big big how do you see the series playing
out I trust in Parker messic yeah I'm gonna get the first one it's big and I think that it's the guardians will win the series cards in four guys in four seems to be the prevailing thought it would really be nice it would help a lot when it comes to setting up your rotation yeah the ALDS and I know you never look ahead you don't want to do that but the manager has to in the back of his mind he's thinking I would love to get my two horses on the bump for games one or two whether it's against the Yankees or the Rae there's a guy by the way hoes and by the way hoes a hoes they did get hot the last week of the season I know he was the most part terrible last week he hit better I know you doubt on him right now Zach gave me some interesting stuff not I can't share all of it but Zach noticed to change this week as they were getting ready that hoes I mean he didn't he didn't have to power this last week no but no I mean in the week between the end of the season and now of of hoes they seemed a little more even a little more loose like back to his old self a little bit good good and that like at one point during this week he went up to Zach hoes they
went up to Zach and said you want my car like he was just being a goofball with him yeah and like it was a little more because he's been a little stressed at times a little tired yeah hoes they told him like some days he wakes up and it feels great and some days he wakes up and it hurts and it affects him when he's hitting but they're very hopeful this week off is going to make a difference they are not going to drop him in the lineup I know you want them to they're not going to even conversation of that I didn't ask him if there was conversation but it's not happening to be interesting to see if they decide to add I Kyle Man's Ardor Cooper Engle for a power battle off the bench for a potential pinch hit spot yeah I would do it I would do it in a short series I don't need the extra picture Zach we uh I can't believe I said it but I did I said that I thought Hoesie should be dropped to seventh in the lineup yeah um I I know that that's disrespectful and blasphemous to a lot of guys but the bat that I've seen this year in the two and three hole is hurting this team and you can't afford in a five game series there's going to be times he comes
up in critical spots do you think they're at least should have been conversation that he'd be moved down in the lineup should they move him down in the lineup where are you I think based on what we saw for a long time the conversation was valid and I can pass September's in October we've seen him hit the ball to the park I don't have the faith that he can do that now but I do have faith in the other guys maybe that wasn't always the case no it wasn't he was always the guy that carried everybody else last thing real quick Jay will appreciate this the red socks kind of had a revolt against analytics when they pulled sunny gray out of the game oh god I couldn't believe they did that you wonder if that plays a factor in it all I I believe Parker Messick and Gavin Williams are guys that should be trusted to go a little longer if they can in a perfect world Parker messico six and then you wrap it up with so brosky and gatties to get four outs and maybe Kate Smith to get four or five yeah you know great Kate Smith is going to be very fresh if you even need him to get six outs his first game yeah especially considering there's a day off after game one so he'll be on well he would not have pitched for almost a week right so he could go plenty of pitches actually it would be it would be over a week he pitched Saturday right in the clinching
game right so it'd be Saturday Saturday Saturday Saturday and yeah I wouldn't even true yeah yeah well if it's a one-run game in the eighth I'm bringing Kate Smith to start the eight me if especially if there's traffic and it's a one or two run game then you bring them in yeah all right we're taking to break how a little Ohio State talk on Friday yeah right I know got a top 15 showdown Iowa fresh off the upset win at the big house hosting Ohio State Saturday I think this is anything but a give me for the buck guys we'll talk about that next welcome back to the ultimate Cleveland Sports Show if you love great lakes brewing companies and Dortmunder go logger but want something a little lighter let me introduce you to the brand new Dort Light it delivers the same great Dortmunder go taste and drinkability with just 90 calories and 2.9 percent alcohol experience dirt in a new light find Dort Light wherever great lakes is sold
please drink responsibly I'm spent I bet all of Cleveland today is just ragging at the office oh 100 I mean if you went to the game I got home at 130 if you went to the game and you're lucky enough to just take off today yeah you know I talked to a lot of people last night said I've already taken off yeah I'm like the win I'm taking off hey exhaust that pto yeah some of them come to be like a listen hey you high up enough ain't no sir sing as pto right you're gonna be right Friday I mentioned during the break that your ratings are down for college football 10 percent part of the reason like Iowa is supposedly a top 15 team and like does anybody care about this game I mean it's just oh yeah tomorrow it'll be it that'll go I know but there's no buzz about it and Ohio states an overwhelming favorite on the road you know it just feels like they are according to Vegas but I can't and I might be in the minority here yeah what's the spread Iowa it's two touchdowns it's two touchdowns I was I was scared Iowa is one of those pesky teams they're well coached they're disciplined team they do all the
fundamental things right I don't know what Michigan is I mean Oklahoma kind of looked fraudulent yeah so they lost the Michigan so that win was impressive to me and then the Western Michigan lost that was a loss they lost that game they looked terrible in that one so I don't know what Michigan is so Iowa I might be over rating Iowa but if you go into the big house and you beat Michigan I think that's a pretty big thing they say no it's in Iowa City yeah it is exactly you know about Iowa so yeah tell them the the year is escaping maybe Jay you're scarred by the one time you know because didn't go there and just get beat they got beat down right I remember it you're quite happy in tomorrow it's not happening tomorrow it's not happening tomorrow why not this young Ohio state defense is coming along a little bit at a time they got new guys in new places but I didn't get to see last week's game so I was watching some brown stuff I'm going to end Tuesday I clicked over to the YouTube I watched the Jeremiah Smith highlight reel he was just openly cackled he got their defense support and they're fired yes they fired the decordinator the next day like this guy is so good and he's locked in some guys in his spot
they're already in the NFL not Jeremiah he wants the Heisman he wants the bullet in the coffee wants the national championship good for him and he had a huge financial offer more than Ohio State Spain to go down and play at home at Miami and he said no and all the Miami guys Michael Irvin and Saffron all of the alum are furious about it I mean I'm good how could you not come home and play you were you know it's a money thing but I love what you just said I don't think this kid's money driven he knows there's going to be nine figures in his bank account when he's got an insurance waiting on and he's getting plenty of money from Ohio State but yeah but it was a bigger offer allegedly from Miami and he said no I'm going to stay here and I think that speaks to the character of the young man he was asked about turning the defensive back around the one play which is just ridiculous he had the defensive back turn around twice he caught it he made a move the guy just lost his jock strap on the field reporter and post game astam is that is that fun for you he goes yeah that's fun I just I just kind of laughed at it you know if you got the first pick you pass on this man I'm not passing on him yeah you might want to go back but I'm just keep
a real game you're in my Smith number one I'm just keep but I hope you're right but I say this one's going to be close and close late so I hope I'm wrong and Ohio State rolls through it let's make predictions Ohio State wins I think Ohio State wins but it's going to be under a touchdown gee what do you think oh state by three cover 31 14 whoa and pull 28 to three there we go man I hope you guys are right all right more brown stock coming up Watson has been like the stock market up down up down it's almost impossible to graph it he's been so up and down are we finally close to seeing the dishawn Watson we traded for when we come back welcome back to the ultimate cleavage sports show you are seeing footage from 2014 the last time
the Cleveland Browns were in sole possession of first place in the AFC North until right now with a 27-24 win over the Steelers last night the Browns for at least the next couple of days of the only team in the AFC North at three and one for the first time since Brian Hoyer led the Browns to a win over the bangles on Thursday night football 12 years ago guys two things from that Mike one I was screaming I was screaming after that game saying the Browns were going to the playoffs and then they lost out yeah number two the guy he's dapping right there don't let's do it's hot peko oh the Bengals has completely sold out now he's on the Steelers coaching staff so bleep you don't retire you sell out he's got to take it's got to get paid never never go work for the Steelers they're a dirty team and they've done dirty things to every team in his division that's disgusting what does it mean I don't know hopefully it doesn't go the same way it went that year but right now the Browns were good football team yeah I will see if the next quarter pole but right now yeah I'm I can only judge them on the field four games they were good they have
played like a good football team not for what they've done but a good foot they did a good football team and especially you know obviously that first game was terrible these last three games they've been the better team they played better and by the way the Jaguars look like a really good football team so even the team they lost the same thing with the Patriots they did and we played them on a road we won a listen right now man that's why we all offseason we talk about with the expectation levels is budget football you you got to go play and then right now when the Browns is playing they're cooking defenses cooking the quarterback keeps coming up a four down conversions a four quarter comebacks your rookies are playing well your head coach it is jumping in the stands dappin people up after every game I love it right now it's great to be a Browns fan it's great now I love it because people is actually in the grocery stores with a gear on they went around for years it was it was a shame I saw more Steelers gear and more Steelers posters in your local grocery stores you go like think about that people didn't even wear
but it was like we don't like Brown and Orange like but now three and one we got people wearing a joints we got people at work they're doing potlucks right now Jay potlucks and potlucks the potlucks happen when the football teams good oh yeah I know that we we find a reason to have a potluck in that office stop me playing with me bring in a soos bring in the Swedish meatballs do you got the Swedish meatball I'll bring the we get listen yeah we look what is that can you get niche good don't you what is those things called what can it's can it's a can it's yeah you want to connect the whole world's a photo shoot these days right but you know what people are doing and they're taking all those pumpkin patch photos and they're pushing them off a sunday at one o'clock yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah sundays wide open though right now game to watch it's so fascinating for me to watch this unfold because that's why I love sports I love sports because we really we think we know what's going to happen but really we don't no one had the Browns three and one no one had to Sean Watson as the highest pass rating in the fourth quarter
although the bright isn't anymore no after four quarters and the fourth quarter after the first three games um we watch because a we want to be entertained but I feel we're most entertained when the unexpected happens those are if you think back over history the most memorable moments in sports history do you believe in miracle yeah they lost nine nothing to the Russians a month before the Olympics started that was a miracle no one expected it buster Douglas putting Mike Tyson on his can those are these are moments that I remember as oh my god they make you stand up and they make you say I can't believe what I'm looking at and right now that's what we're experiencing with these Cleveland Browns we're on our feet and we cannot believe what we're seeing and the hope is that this carpet ride turns magical and runs all the way through January we don't know but so far to this point are you not entertained were you not entertained last night from kickoff
to the final gun they're making our lives better because in those three hour increments we're leaving that experience happy with the smile interface last night Cleveland Browns the state of Huntington Bank field and the surrounding area was the happiest place on earth I love leaving that place on a after a night game with a big win like that everybody was happy except in Steelers fans which made me happy so I don't know what they are yet I'm afraid to guess because I guess way wrong what I said they win five games for the man they may end up with five wins I don't know but right now I'm enjoying this it's fine yeah look they're about to go on four of the next five on the road you know expectations change spotlight change all of that but the reality is they burned this spot yeah they were awful and unprepared and overmatched in week one and they come back and they won three games and similar yet different fashion they've shown improvement in some areas they've overcome their own sloppiness like back in 2020 when they lost
the first game got killed and then got hot it was the other teams melt them down making penalties doing all sorts this Browns team is getting its own way and still finding a way yeah in a Tampa it was down 10 last week it was up 10 then the offense got three yards in the third quarter they came back alive and last night it was like okay rough start then offensive explosion then hanging on needed one drive Jerry Judy who didn't even get targeted the previous week it didn't really play do anything the first two and a half quarters is a hero it was the first time that you watched the Cleveland Browns on TV and I always said when you watched the Cleveland Browns on one o'clock you watched the Cleveland Browns on four o'clock and you watch them at eight o'clock it's two different worlds it's two different game plans the Browns look like they can't move the ball that won a clock then you see guys running wide open you're like why can't we just cut copy and paste that this game was the first game that I watched it and I was watching it almost as a spectator and saying wow we scored they came back yeah they we scored they came back it was back and forth and
out in that at the fourth quarter I stopped being and I looked at I said they kicked the field goal and they went in and I'm sitting there being like I didn't once think oh it's the Browns about to be the Browns it was just a great football game with two teams swinging at man kudos to you I thought several times last night the Browns are gonna Browns but they didn't they didn't they didn't like three games in a row there was a chance for the Browns to Browns and they did not and they and that's Mike Tomlin that was the crossover moment because I was like I was like oh they might even when he took the sack yeah it's right came in I said oh he hit in this and I would have never thought that I think the biggest compliment you can give this team right now is in the last they look like a real football team yeah how many times we said why do all these other teams look like real football yeah we always say yeah the Browns right now or if nothing else and look at our real football team by the way quick quick store I haven't dilemma I need you guys help with okay tomorrow obviously I'm coaching the game the home played umpire in this game
we're friends he's a big stealer fan do I I love don't drop it in I shouldn't rub it in oh don't talk on Superman's cape before the game yeah you're right after the game then I'm gonna kill him yeah yeah then you let him have it don't spit in the wind don't talk on Superman that's right there's one last thing I want to say there were a million plays that if they went the other way last night the dip the other team wins but one thing that turned out to be a godsend for us when the Browns had the penalty and then the 10 second runoff I was like oh my god we're going to have 10 valuable seconds and then what happens if Aaron Rogers gets the ball with 20 seconds and they don't have to hail Mary in fact it's a good point on the broadcast they said it shows that Todd Monkins got faith in the offense he was a concern about yeah well no he was concerned about it that's why they he was fine with it like you know I'm saying he he was concerned with losing the yes that yeah yeah yeah yeah fine take it it actually works at a Browns event yes we're just gonna run out of time yeah two things work quick one Todd Monkins spoke about 20 minutes ago gave
an update on the mason Graham injury the update is no update so yeah the early indications it appears according to in rap port he may have avoided a significant knee injury but Todd Monkins did not have specifics the other question I wanted to ask in Zach will start with you to Sean Watson the last three weeks it's been the best three weeks stretch of his Cleveland Browns 10 year is there any chance that the Sean is just building weekend week out and could get to the quarterback at some point this season the Browns thought they were getting when they made this massive deal in 2022 or you're still writing out that as a possible well we don't know what the ceiling is but we don't know what the ending is either and he's clearly improving right like we're not we're not here using words like washed and toxic lightly you know and in what happened in week one made us all say what are they doing and he's getting a little bit better it was down 10 in Tampa it was mostly dink and dunk it was managing the game last week in a 21 yard run this week it was finally some explosive the dink and dunk was out the window it was another 21 yard run it was poised in the pocket it was
extending play is all night against one of the best defensive fronts in the league so to Sean Watson is getting better that was Todd Munkins bet that was the Browns bet and it's it's clearly not perfect because they could have put it away before they did but like the winning grade is not coming from one area or one plant no it's complimentary there's improvement in a lot of areas that first hat was the most impressive I've seen the shot this can't be overstated he was out there moon walking on people he was in a different level bro like I'm just gonna keep it real like the the brush was there and then there's a time where he got hit he throws a dime and he's writing his face there's times the the past to Harold F. and junior boom right in the goal line he was going toe to toe or air Rogers and it was the first time I said oh this looked like Houston the Sean Watson and in that first half it was I was like this is do they want it to get this is do they thought it was getting now the second half there was some things but like I said before the Sean Watson is earned the right not to be judged throw to throw he is three and one they doing it
against good football teams and his performance in a fourth quarter is standing out he deserves that right we all gave him either a's or b's in the first hour if you missed it you can catch it on the app the one thing that I think if I'm grading him you remember I used to get the comments works well with others right one comment that I would add to his grade card is lacks consistency yeah that's really the only fault that I can pick with the Sean Watson this year his ceiling has been here his floor has been here we need him to live somewhere in the middle and and be able to play up and not play down if he wanted to they want to send a rather story he has to marry the first half in a second that's right accuracy is king in this league and that's where he's been shaped yes yeah you're right all right break time when we come back we had so much fun with these segments throughout the first six weeks of high school football season it is now week seven that means Chris Renkel enters the man cave he's going to break down the high school matchups that we need to pay attention to when the ultimate Cleveland Sports Show comes right back
welcome back to the ultimate Cleveland Sports Show our high school football preview is brought to you by seven brew cultivating kindness one cup at a time visit your local seven brew today yeah prep masters here Chris Renkel mr high school football week seven lot a lot of good things to talk about oh yeah let's get the ball rolling we we got a good one to talk about in our game of the week but first we got to look back last week our game of the week three in mid-park and Ava on it don't look now the Ava needle started the year one and two two pretty bad losses they've now won three in a row they beat barium in mid-park 52-21 and the Eagles have scored over 50 points in all three of their straight wins Ava just might be rounding into form at the right time we now go to our top 10 doing a little different this week we're gonna start from 10 to six and good news bowl build the team ever pirates they're still in the top 10 there's number nine that's all right so undefeated they were up 76 to nothing at Normandy last week one is up 63 to nothing and they won 83 nothing I heard the DC of Normandy quit right after the game I I certainly would after that kind of
it's not good this yeah all right number eight the big shake up lost Jesuit all the way down they lost the hobin in just their second one of the year 30 to nothing wow big upset losses that number eight Glenville up one at four and two they will face hope in this week and at number six St. Ignatius still holding strong at four and two so now we go to the top five and it is largely almost completely unchanged Masle and still the number one team in the area St. Ed's they won on a hail Mary last week they remain the number two team wadzward 6 and 0 they are number three they move up one from where was Jesuit was can't McKinley two straight weeks of shutouts G-Bush they're back my my bulldogs you know I'm saying alumni proud let's get it done Masle we you gotta see us I'm just saying is different let's go so that's a big rivalry maybe the biggest rivalry in the area if that's number one then one A is this week's game of the week it is the game formerly known
as the holy war St. Ignatius St. Ed anymore they don't like it when you say the schools doll but the fans still call it that because that's what it is everyone knows it if that we're gonna say the game formerly known as the holy war St. Ed's just now took the all-time series lead 3332 and one Ed's is won nine straight against Ignatius but Ignatius four and two they are a lot better this year the two losses were to Ava and Walsh Jesuit this is going to be a good one this is going to be very interesting to see if St. Ignatius is officially back Jay who you got back but they're not all the way back I'm going Ed's it I was here in Ignatius plus five I'm scoundrel looking nice lines oh hey all my assistant coaches are Ignatius grad so let's go Ignatius they're gonna pull the they're gonna end the nine game losing streak tie breaker I'm going to go I think St. Ignatius might get him so I'm going upset I'm going upset St. Ignatius okay I also got a lot of cousins that went to Ignatius they never let me hear the end so we're going Ignatius got it all right next game
revere and Mayfield revere coming in four and two they beat a royal last week 24 to 14 but they have three wins against teams that are o and six they've got to beat the bad teams Mayfield undefeated six no coming off a win against Brexville 21 to seven Jay I'd call a high school team fraudulent but revere fraudulence give me may those kids are devastating yeah politics before I get it you give me no offense but I'm gonna thank you give me the fighting bakers we going to make field the fighting big revere coach Bobby Nichol good friend of mine he wouldn't want me to pick him even if they were going to win so they're not going to win we'll take mayfield I can't pick a mayfield let's go revere I'll round this out I'm not going on your side pull sorry Mayfield I think takes this one all right final game of the week kaihaga heights and Wiklif the red wolves against the blue devils red wolves five and one Wiklif six and oh Jake let's go Wiklif I'm going to go with Wiklif as well Wiklif I'm still shocked that you're a kaihaga person
that's very rare most people kaihaga people you're kaihaga so I got to take this my west side is coming through yeah this is a west sideers to say kaihaga I live on the west side never hurt anybody oh no there's a lot of people to say it I'm just so I say it again to bowl kaihaga I'd take a like a great work thank you catch the highlights and scores tonight on WKYC at 11 o'clock we're taking a break sports trivia I think we've got a streak going four days four days streak yeah does it continue all right it's time for trivia we've got four is it four day winning streak yeah so this would be a clean sweep for the week crazy let's have it Mike yeah I this this could be a two part or because I made it and I think you might be too easy for you guys oh were that good pressure at a moment yeah you guys have dominated me this week in the tribute the point we have so the question is and I'll tell you it is very close with the ALDS right around the corner game
one set for Saturday 1 p.m. which franchise Cleveland or Chicago has a higher overall playoff win percentage playoff win percentage playoff now what sucks haven't been to the playoffs very often no but they won it in 0 5 yeah but but this but this was the that Houston series was the first series that they've won since yeah Cleveland I'm but now to go back to the blacksocks days they were good in the mid-90s yeah but in those days you there was just 14 you know what Cleveland was swept in 54 and I'm going all the way I'm going Chicago this is all saying Cleveland I'm going Chicago on this one but very cool we got to I'm saying Cleveland I'll go Chicago yeah I want to say I think it's counterintuitive I want to say Cleveland so what's our answer we got to break up we got to split you two Cleveland two Chicago's and hop on the mic are you going to keep a streak I'm going to Cleveland and then it goes Cleveland which means there's three Cleveland choices two Chicago I'll relent and then by I mean we got to go Cleveland I'll tell you Chicago is 32 and 32 all
the time in the playoffs there's a 50 winning percent 500 500 Cleveland you ready yeah 65 and 66 I had it all along I've felt pretty sorry guys I'm sorry I go is the right answer all right and streak is all lunches on me today and you can't go that's fair by the time we come back Monday hopefully that's changed listen by the time we come back Monday we could be even Stephen and they would be one game under 500 or no we can't be even Stephen yeah no we're one under 500 65 and 66 no but I'm saying we'll have a better record all time in the past yes we'll be 500 and they'll be one under 500 yes yes fingers crossed all right we're out of time we hope you enjoyed the program have a great weekend Sundays are free we're back on Monday on on cowshee you're trading against peers in a live market meaning there's no house and as
