Welcome to the AR 15 podcast. This show is for you that you just bought your first rifle. Or you've been building them for years. There's something we can all do to take our black rifles to the next level. And we are here. We are live. My name is Nick Dooley and I am joined tonight by our director of propaganda Joe. Good evening. How's everybody doing? And back in the glass case of emotion, we have Garth from his studio. Howdy, howdy. And then joining us all the way from the frozen tundra across one state line. We have Tyler from Tundra Taktor. Hello everybody. I'm going to do that a lot tonight. That is great. So anybody who doesn't know, Tyler is one of the hosts are actually probably the main host of Tundra Tactical. That streams as the world's okayest gun show.

I think you're not at a close actual time on rumble every Saturday night. Thanks for the shout out, Dooley. Oh, well we're glad to have you here. We'll get into more of that and what is going on. And I see in the chat they're trying to guess which state line you were crossed. No, it is not the North Dakota one. No, we're not that much in nerds. Are we just going to keep making them guess or should I just start giving them clues? You know, you can do whatever. I mean, if I'm not South Canadian enough for you, I don't know what gives it a fucking way. I mean, he is wearing flannel in the tent. Sure, shirtless underneath with some taco meat exposed. That's about as fucking Southern Canadian as you get. I might as well go outside and have a dart there, bud. Well, you're not quite in a denim tuxedo. Not yet, but I mean, we are okay. Once again, if you look up statistically what this state is known for the most in terms of clothing, it is 100% denim tuxedo.

They're like denim in general. I'm from Minnesota folks. Welcome. Yes. So Joe Garth Tyler, did you guys do anything fun with Guns This Waker? I unfortunately did not. I have been, well, let's just say this, life has been throwing me a couple of curve balls as of late. And I haven't had a whole lot of time for the gun related activities other than just, you know, the standard stuff of maintaining and, Google in and eyeballing and wishing I could shoot more of them. So unfortunately for me, not. Yeah. Garth, yeah, I want not too much gun stuff. I did order one of those mission first tactical holsters, the leather ones. So I'm going to try that on the inside the waistband and see how that goes for my 365. Just because you know, I know I get yelled at a lot by a certain guy who's to the top of me right now by telling me I shouldn't pocket carry. And I should actually, I mean pocket carries, okay, and all that. But I need to have a real draw holsters.

So I figured, hey, I could try a 365 on the three o'clock or, you know, sorry, it would be nine o'clock or eight o'clock position for me since I'm a south pod. Go that route, but I'll be on that. No, not too many gun things because I've been working on music and actually I'm just going to do it real quick. I got an album dropping tonight at midnight finally. Oh shit. Yeah, my first album out. Where is it like everywhere? Everywhere man, Spotify, iTunes, Apple music, YouTube, the whole Shabang, 15 songs coming out. Can I make just like, first of all, I'm going to apologize in advance because I believe Garth and Joe, I don't think I've ever met you guys before. I have the single worst case of ADHD you will ever encounter. And I am not, ask Nick, I'm not being hyperbolic about this. It's, it's bad. So if I just interrupt you, I am so sorry. My brain almost has no control over it and I very hard like I try, especially when I'm on other shows not to do it. So I'd love to pick your brain though because I am actually desperately looking for fellow two A musicians to put a kind of like a two A parody band together.

And do weird Al type music, but for gun stuff. Oh, dude. I mean, all right, done. Yes, you don't know the monster you just created. Oh, why think I do? Because trust me, I don't do anything without, you know, doing it or I don't do anything without overdoing or overthinking it. So I think we already will match and I have that. I mean, I'm in. I'm ready for this. Look at that beautiful things are already happening. This is how easy people are guys become friends, especially like gun nerds, right? We just got to know you're a gunner one of us. One of us. One. It's a cult. It is not a cult. I mean, sorry, it's not a cult. Oh, it's a cult. It's okay. Oh, Joe, did you do anything fun? I mean, it's a break my PCC, you know, the way we were just going to leave for a while. I said I was going to shoot it until it went shooting more than I clean it. It is getting to the point where it doesn't like to go back to battery after a press check.

But I did manage to not run the set screw that holds the ejector in out and then thought I lost the ejector, but it was in the bag. So, yeah, I recall it. It needs to get cleaned yet before I leave tomorrow. Under that, Nick and I went on to the range, shot some different drills. I went back out the next day and shot a few more drills. Surprised my, I did learn that because last time I ordered ammo, they oversold what I ordered by three units. So they offered me 147 grains for the same price. And I'm like, sure, I've shot them before from that company and other stuff I've got. I'm like, yeah, I'll take it. So I ran a couple of build drills with my 124. I'm like, 750 rounds of 147. Let's see, that looks like kind of build drill. And I was consistently a tenth of a second faster with better grouping.

So I think we're this big and I'm going to run the 147s and see how it goes. But I have a pile of 124. So that'll get shot up as practice ammo. So looking forward to this weekend, hopefully it's not too big. If you don't mind me asking since I'm unfamiliar, what kind of PCC if I missed you saying so? It's a, it started life as a diamond bag, nine hour. Right on. And the only thing left that's diamond back is the furniture. Everything else, put a chimney, PCC trigger in it, put JPE, semiconductor spring, bowl. Is that not the greatest thing you can freaking do to again? Yeah, like it's not that was the further reason we did it. I'm like, I could spend all the $1 on a JPE 5. Yeah, I could have I could spend this amount of money on the JPE 5 or I could cheaper. Like I've had people at major school. How do you like your JPE 5? I'm like, dude, it's not what it is. So yes, but also know.

Yeah. So actually I have a great story that JP, JP enterprises, if you guys aren't familiar with what I do, I roast people for 11. JP enterprises is the only company I believe that is ever reacted so poorly to one of my roasts and reviews that they will no longer speak to me. That is amazing. It's a company in the industry and they happen to be a hometown hero for me. Like they're right up the road, literally, right up the road for me. I run a lot of their stuff. Oh, great company. I will never speak like bad of the stuff that they make just they don't have a sense of humor. What happens? I'll just give you that a few times a shot. So yeah, I can imagine, but do you think it can be pretty interesting and entertaining? Well, it's only because I started asking questions and then a salesman tries to give me a bullshit answer. Yeah, see, that's the thing is you actually understand everything.

And it's okay. So I know I'm preaching to the choir and know I'm preaching to your guys' audience, but for the inevitable few of my homies that show up to this or that know me and don't know you. Nick, when I when I first brought Nick on the show, he taught me more in a shorter period of time from sitting from from his little basement rape dungeon thing that he's got going on over here. Actually, can I say that on YouTube? Yeah, I got about that. I don't really care because we also we don't mindly care about rumble. So awesome. We like that too. Dude, you taught me more in like a shorter period of time than I have learned from like legitimate practical experience and full on lessons. This guy has forgotten more about guns and specifically the RFF AR 15 than I'm ever going to know. Yeah, hang around a long enough. You'll figure that out real quick. Fair enough. So you're just you're just way better at detecting bullshit than I am because you know everything. Well, it's it's fun because I sit there and like I talked to one company and they brought over like, oh, it's European model. And I went, oh, so what are you using for a blade of in your silence? Are you just running steel wool?

Or are you actually doing something interesting? And the guy looked at me and he's like, well, why would you mention that? I love that, dude. I love I love when you get him so off guard that you just. And they got they have so little they just have to go why would you put me on the spot like that? That's so beautiful. Got him. Yeah, it was so I've done that a couple of times, but that's that's just one of the side perks of getting to have me come over where Garth goes wait explain it to him. Yeah, they try to give me this beyond a guy dude. I don't care. I don't care, but I don't want to have this information ahead by no guy who does. So hang on. I'm kind of like or Garth, I feel like I'm kind of in your general vicinity because I got music up here. I got cameras up here. I got computers up here. I don't have space for all the duly gun knowledge. I have none of that. It's not possible. Fair enough. Yeah, that's that's where my brain lives. That's that's my definitely my tism.

I did give you the range this week. I've still been running out my my striveogue SBA three. And it has been quite a delightful gun to run like just just fun all the way around. I have a feeling that will be an SBR. Again or not. I don't know. There's some really get can I can I ask a qualifying question there what what are you guys looking like over there post August 5th for a or lack thereof laws out in that direction. Are you guys 44 73 and suppressors and do it? Yes, the arson chip sweet. Yes, we are shockingly so we can do that in Minnesota too. If you can believe that if you can wrap your head around this crazy fact that Wisconsin can't do form for or they have to still go form for but Minnesota doesn't need to that's so weird. But thank you Minnesota gunnerers caucus. There is no legislators in Minnesota going how did we miss that?

Yeah, but how did we forget to to codify that 100% and we we have all of that to thank to the Minnesota gun owners caucus for their relentless assault on those politicians and effectively giving them so much homework that they forgot to work that one out. When that when they first are polishing that map of the free states right I'm like North Dakota's now Minnesota late. What did you guys make of this? Did you see the impression there are some of what's going on here and they're like no it's not codified because it's self decoded just this legislative slash actually removed suppressors from their restricted list. So Dr. scary guy in the chat Minnesota legislators hate this one weird trick. It's I mean that's such a perfect way of putting it because they genuinely do if I could tell you that there is almost no more satisfying feeling than watching my hometown or my district's represent represent wow let's start that sentence over and less stroke that time.

My own district representative Tom Emmer go up and cause just chaos by spitting facts left right in center all about actual like real gun statistics and watching the you know liberal super monarchy over there fucking have a connection. I grew up 10 miles from the border of the board of the board of the border in South Dakota and I know exactly what you mean how dumb some of that stuff is when you come to town. Oh my gosh but also how much there's no difference for most of that state. Mm-hmm compared you know like as what we have people are identical until you get to freaking why is that a they finally fix the they finally fix the deer hunting like they did they open up right away. Yes. So okay so I don't know how to count yes the counties. So from my understanding most of the hyper restrictive counties have opened it up but I I'd have to go to my DNR contact for that one. Yeah yeah because that was I grew up working in a meat locker and they they always open deer the Minnesota deer season was a week before South Dakota's and.

Yeah I was never having to shoot slugs dude. Yeah the the way those deer would come in and it's like what's the point you shoot the well they'll sit they'll sit 200 yards away from you and fucking laugh. Yeah I'll just you know sit there like sound like a fucking cab that you're just sitting out there. I'm like mother fucker. I think I'm like a 40. So this the people I knew in Minnesota that went. Oh well I can't have a rifle but I can hunt with a pistol during absolutely. So like everyone went through and did like all of a sudden 300 blackout. Oh my god dude. If it wasn't for Minnesota 350 legend would never have had a chance. Yes but Minnesota single handedly kept that cartridge alive. I don't know Ohio because it's technically a straight wall cartridge. So Ohio and Iowa they all love it as well. Okay fair enough. So Midwest the well we'll give it to the Midwest. But it's it is rather amazing.

So as we get through here so we talked a little bit beforehand and we went over what we did. So Tyler you were probably best known you alluded to it early that you are probably best known as a semi professional shit talker on the Internet. I think that's an accurate statement sir. And known for roasting companies and people and I believe in your own words you push the line. So far that you roasted everyone that no one would take you serious when you started because you did it to everyone. Yeah well the the want was for people to understand that this wasn't an attack like I wanted to build a professional career here. That was later on down the road from the decision making process of like hey let's start making fun of people. I never considered this a job. I never considered this could become a job. I always wanted it to be kind of like you know what we're doing right here is just a good excuse to hang out with my buddies and then maybe film something and catch us being stupid on camera every now and again laugh at it later on.

I never in a million thousand bazillion years thought somebody let alone many hundreds of people would enjoy watching it live. So in that process we decided hey we could actually try to make some money at this we've got to try to find out like a way of doing this to where people don't hate us because if you go back and you watch. I don't know what video it was I don't know exactly where it was but there is a turning point where there became like we became a lot more clever not just savage but savage and clever at the same time because when we started out like we didn't imagine ourselves getting a sponsorship for doing anything. Or having any form of professional income off of this so yeah I don't know we pivoted and somehow that kind of became the ethos is I was afraid that wherever I went if I went to shot show or I went to goals or N. Ram or something like that and I said hey how you doing Tyler tundra tactical it was just be just straight to the face like you mother fucker I put 25 goddamn years into that and you roasted me for it.

Oh damn sorry bro like that's a joke and I realize that this industry does indeed have a guarded and and very well concealed but surprisingly flexible sense of humor and that has never happened all of that fear was just probably imposter syndrome telling me that I wasn't good enough to be doing what I was doing and now all the sudden you know on YouTube 120,000 subscribers later and now on rumble trying to trying to build that empire all over again over there. Who knows man I don't fucking know what happened I feel like a blink I've got two kids now I'm 40 and now I make fun of shit on the internet for money it's wild I like it passes it passes the 15 year old knee test right you ever you ever do that to yourself like if you ever have a really bad day this is what I do to get out of a really bad day I just say no matter where I'm at in that moment I just say dude go back in time and explain to your 15 year old self what you do for actual money. And I just can't be having a bad day anymore because my life is fucking rad really really interesting for me to do.

But I mean I don't know how it plays out for any one of us here but I can tell you that 15 year old me all I ever wanted to do was entertain people I didn't know how that was going to happen with I wanted to be a pilot at the time like before I you know do head first in the gun world. So I figured I was going to be like a stunt pilot or some shit but funny how life takes you a different in weird places now I have not shown my butt hole yet but I have considered it and I'm a content creator so only fans is next. Let's drop that only cans only only beards I think so it would work as well at least for the lower part of the screen yeah that that would get you get a good Merkin going and I mean Garth was already talking about how you were topping him earlier so I'm sorry. Yeah this is true that was something he mentioned. Yeah don't think I missed it. No I like what do you say that it's like a 15 or 16 year old me would have been like no I just want to have this and I want to have the cool guns and I want to be do this and just like load mags as I'm driving places and I realize that I am essentially the same guy.

I mean shit that's you know at least you're consistent true to yourself all that fun stuff I know I'm kind of going down this like weird philosophical road but it's important I think you know I like being weird on on interviews because I don't have to be me well that's fine but going down kind of the philosophical rabbit hole is not the worst thing because well watch you to be you and to hang out and low stress environment. I can use some of that right now just a conversation and a safe space okay fucking hit in a test Jesus Christ am I going to be giving you my fucking social security number next Jesus. That's the next thing. Sleep. I was born on hardwood Avenue my mother's maiden name. Okay well funny enough you did tell me where your house you grew up and was. Oh yeah yep but that is very true that is very true. Not the not the answer I use for that security question though so you would be you would be barking up the wrong tree we call that in the business a red.

Henry. No but so you got started and you were kind of one of the like for you know anybody who didn't know I'm going to say one of the kind of. Like not the super early gun tubers like I feel like we were the second wave like I was part of the second wave like very much so like there was you know the Iraq veteran 88 88 and some of those guys who really. I would consider yeah once again I'm stepping all over you got my bad this the ADHD talking but I would consider like Hickok 45 FPS Russia. Probably patent. PC gun collective. We like shooting. And a few others as part of what like that opening crew and then once somebody said oh holy shit we can do this for a living then the rest of us kind of came along so I'm kind of like that that guy who walked off of. Omaha Beach never fired a shot never never did anything but I get to say I was there that type of stuff so.

Those guys blaze the trail they did all that shit and we we came and cleaned up the pieces afterwards but though we owe a lot to those dudes for for taking all the risk. Yeah road on the coat tails of greatness pretty much pretty much. No and like I remember watching you know like your stuff when it popped off and it was the what could you and going to watch that stuff and never in a million years that I think that was the video that was going to fucking do it but it did. It's weird let's just what I remember doing it and yeah I actually remember this one of those were not doing a fan drill thing but I talked to you at guncon I remember that the first time yeah yeah and I was like hey man let me grab a selfie because I'd watch you like my daughter would hang out and she. Like oh sweet I got a picture and then cropped me. Yeah photo put herself in I so to this day and you can please relay this information to this day I tell that story to make myself sound way cooler than I am and I thank her so profusely for doing that because number one my ego is always hungry and can always use a feed and number two it's one of the only times where I'm going to say like I got to outplay duly.

It's a good thing. Yeah exactly but like so you've done that let's hear a little bit about like how you got into the firearm space oh good lord yeah so post time in the military I come back and I I decide Garth to go down the music path and I hold on standby just heard yelling upstairs. Yeah we're good we're good we're good dad doesn't need to get involved yet I heard the voice I heard the mom voice kick on for a second I'm not you know absentee man down here so I go help out when needed any who. How did I get in the gun space I decide after military to go into become an audio engineer go to audio engineering school at the very very nice well equipped school of the institute of production and recording here in many apps. And I'm just gonna go and do a little bit of a story here because I always kind of go down this road part of the part of the jam.

Oh she's going again hold on I might have to go upstairs soon I'm hearing more yelling. Oh parenting. I have been. Oh my goodness and you let me go check and see what's going on talking marks yourselves road island neither a road nor an island go ahead I'll be right back. Well there are plenty of roads in Rhode Island. You don't they all lead to. It's a busy grips the unique features of busy grips the machine into a solid block of G 10 and G 10 is great because it's durable against the number of mud blood or sweat 17 degree paying a wide variety of textures from on the extreme as well as color options and shorty versions are also available 19 11 grips the extreme customizability. The most important part of the system is the bottom of the system. So I'm not sure if it's because bottom profiles and more or the 25 to 27. Are available this keep up is good for 15% off all and get a rifle grips and that code is AR 15 pod 15. Look at this man all prepared and everything for when I had to run away I appreciate you being understanding about being a parent.

I can second day of school just wrapped up and and the main lovey that we have in the house was left at school. And there is a there is a minor but significant meltdown happening but mom says she is well in control of the situation I have extreme confidence in her ability to handle. And I think we'll just find a continuum indeed. So we left upon you at audio engineering. Yes, so my final semester I'm like literally probably months away or a month or two away from getting a degree which I do not end up getting because of this eye opening situation. I'm sitting in my very final songwriting class which I was elated to get into this is a massive like opportunity the the teacher of the songwriting class has won 11 Grammys. So it is huge that we're getting to sit down and learn how to write songs from a guy who is legitimately won a significant amount of awards for songwriting.

If you listen to the country if you listen to country music in the late 90s you heard every one of his songs. If you listen to Leanne Rimes he wrote it all like all of that stuff was all him he won a ton of awards and here we are in the class 45 minutes go by and there's no Kevin showing up and we're all wondering like are we in the right spot is something happening like is he dead? Who knows? Hour goes by and all the sudden the lights dim and I swear if I could make this any more visceral for you I'd say like confetti cannons went off or something but the lights dim the music comes on and it's like a WWE walk up and here comes Kevin bow looking every bit like a you know a Nashville music you know Grammy award winning music writer country music writer. And he's got his microphone in hand and he's got this big fanfare play and everybody welcome on in the song red blah blah I'm Kevin bow and this is what we're going to be doing who wants to be the next Simon Garfunkel and raw yeah you know songwriting genius is what is referencing if you don't know who that is who wants to be the next Bob Dylan you know couldn't sing for shit but great song right and we're all well yeah and he just he cuts all the music.

It's like it was perfectly time I've later I found out this was you know well on cue but music cuts the lights go up spotlight comes on him and effectively just says alright I want you all to quit because I'm going to teach you how to write and make a million bucks right Justin Bieber's next hit. And I got up out of my seat I went and I shook his hand and I walked up fucking door and then I went to go hang out with my buddy because I was having a rough day that day and my buddy and I we I don't know we decided to go shoot and. Have a little bit of fun I was like alright fuck it you know having is probably about a year after I get out of the military hadn't been shooting for a while and. Just you know I just comes back to you just kind of get the itch again couple of guns later the YouTube thing happens that's another interesting story if you want to go down that road I'll tell you the story but I'll wait for the question because I could be an hour long. And yeah I don't know we just kind of found ourselves in a situation where we accidentally found out I was funny and and then yeah let's go now time to happen.

No that is not so like that's the the background of Tyler where you got into it and then actually the f***er I know that at one point you talked about moving a couple times and there we go. Yeah talk going like Arizona I forget how long I got actually know each other Jesus Christ yeah that's a deep cut that was pre-COVID my original co-host not Scott who you guys interviewed earlier in the earlier in the month last month I think. But hypo pat invited me out to law flin Nevada and pat had a real nice job working for Don law flin as in the guy who owns the town yes I said owns because the guy has like six of the 11 major casinos in that town he's a billionaire and he had a job for me working for this billionaire at his casino as the head of personnel at their IT security department right.

So pat said I need somebody who can deal with people and I said oh that's me I'm pretty good with people most of the time as long as they don't try to punch me in the face and real real cushy job and then COVID happened and it all fell apart because the casinos had all of the money ripped out from under him and yeah that was a that was definitely part we were already well into tundra at that point but tundra became a main source of income writer. And then I was a big part of the income right around them to so it boy that was a that was a deep cut time and a very weird time we were you know just about to get married Megan's parents were very much against me leave it or not me but us moving out of the state so they wanted to keep us here so that that whole thing was going on it was a wild time man hopefully it doesn't come across too much in the videos but that was a that was a big challenging moment. And so getting those we have the challenging moments and kind of seeing that word sure you go through you can you can't keep chugging along with it which I'll say to anybody out there who for whatever reason would look to us as an inspiration is like don't give up because you don't know what you're doing.

Yeah I mean that's me every day. I've resigned I've resigned myself to like understanding like I don't I don't know how to fucking operate any of this I'm just here to have fun. That kind of just works the fake it till you make it is the real is waiting anywhere in life. If you want to do something do it and you'll figure it out as you go somebody will come along possibly put your other wing teach you some stuff be open minded you can yeah you can do anything you want to say you're mind do it. A lot of the times when people are roasting you for being a rookie they're trying to help you in a kind of a jaded way so if you just listen to that shit you do that shit I bet you they stop roasting you and you don't have to have any fear of that stuff anymore and then all the sudden you're like oh crap I and believe it or not I've been doing this for a long time. I've been doing this for 10 years can I tell you like the realist real story I just had that realization after 10 fucking years feeling like I don't belong in this industry because I didn't do enough.

I just I just finally stopped caring enough about it to care like I was just like I'm just here to kind of be mean now I don't have to pretend like I earned my spot in the room or justify why I'm here I just get to be here now and fucking party it's great. I'm the biggest lie we tell our kids is you'll figure it out when you're an adult because we're so you're going to figure it all out like you'll figure out this shit when you're an adult you'll just have a whole new set of problems you don't know how to solve. So technically not lying that's how I that's how I would justify it. Indeed so you moved on from that and I know that you kind of changed your content for me as you went through because it was like Tundra started and you're deep in the writing and had like the funny skin videos and it was great because it was kind of it was kind of the gun like oh hey we're going to do like gun comedy skip based stuff. Really like you're like the world's okay as gun show which is the closest thing we have to like a gun variety show I hope I'm so glad that you said that I like to try to you know feed my ego a little bit and call it the gun SNL because we do skits from time to time but yeah man the content change is I think essential there there are a lot of really really talented folks in this industry.

You know we we call them friends but they are also competitors including yourself. Do you but a lot of those people just never learned any other way to do something like let's say well I shouldn't speak for them. That's a really like bold aggressive statement let me let me rephrase what I will say is I feel like the when we're talking about like the first and second wave like the me to older folks. The 40 year old plus crew in the in the industry we've been around for 10 15 years. We were always kind of we grew up really seeing the rest of the media as okay you're a hyper specialist right. I'm not going to speak for john patent on this I'm just going to use john patent as an example john patent is a great example of this because he's never really changed how he delivers his content there's nothing wrong with that please don't miss interpret that I'm not criticizing the least bit he's a fucking mount rush more. Personality in the industry I there's no way I can criticize that any you.

The example here is he's just never changed how he delivers his content because he's so fucking good at it that people just know him as the gun news guy right. You see a million and one people including myself that have had even some success copying that format and adapting it to their own style and things like that but he's where it all started. So he doesn't have to adapt he doesn't have to change but when you this this audience is tough sometimes like the people that are viewing right now there's so hyper loyal that they actively avoid sometimes searching for new content to favor the stuff that they like once again nothing wrong with that but it does make it challenging for the people who are trying to break into the industry I'm sure you guys can relate to this being that you're kind of on that cusp bill along with me. That it's tough to steal some of that audience attention over to your show the best way to do it is to get on podcast go on the show and you know put yourself there which is one of the reasons why I'm here hello audience come check me out on rumble Saturday nights 9 p.m. Central the world's okay as gun show you can find me there see ball guy looks like me or in the right spot.

Indeed. Where is I going with all of this I talked myself off the off the plot again what was the question we were going through and talk about like the content change we kind of yes what away from just like the straight comedy skits and what like you still do the comedy skits but it's kind of the gun variety show I was blessed with the ability to have well this is to my own horn but I like to call myself the Nick Fury of guns. I just I know my strength and one of my strengths is I can see talent where a lot of people can't right. For example two of my greatest writers ever weren't ever right one was a bus driver the other was actually the other was a writer excuse me so one was a bus driver the other one was a writer and I like to think that I can put people into places to try stuff out because there's no like there's no risk in this for me if it fails I was right back where I'm I was. Before so I can say hey have you always wanted to try being a writer guard and you go actually fuck yeah I did I was like hey sweet give me like a 2600 page or 2600 word 15 minute you know video on this subject and let's demo it out and I would recruit inside of our own discord cool I've never once hired out I've never taken a professional from any other industry I've always taken a fan inside of my own discord and brought them up that is how every time I'm going to do it I'm going to do it.

I brought them up that is how every single person you have ever met on my team has made it to a show is they've just watched the show and they've gotten to know me over the years and I've eventually just asked in that question I say I don't care if you know sound would you like me to teach you how to do it functionally I won't be able to teach you academically but I can teach you how to do it functionally hey call. So yeah that's I don't know when when you have all of that it changes constantly right I sometimes had an abundance of content because I had two writers operating full time thank you coach thank you Steve but sometimes I didn't and because I can't pay these guys I don't have an expectation I'm very aware I try very hard to treat my friends like friends even though they're working for me. I try very very hard to convince myself that because I cannot pay you I have no expectation from you I'm going to ask you to do something and if you commit to doing that I'm going to say all right buddy to buddy I really appreciate you getting this done but.

If something comes up I'm going to cut you the slack you deserve because there's no real obligation and that's that's work relatively well for me but the challenge here is turnover right six months eight months in right when somebody gets trained up and they're operating at peak efficiency they had burn out. Every time and I got to start over so hence the the constant change on about a six to eight month cycle in content that's really what drove it and eventually I just ran out of writers that wanted to continue doing this actively I still have plenty of interest from those guys like doing like bit projects every now and again if I need something written you know on the spot they absolutely come in clutch and help me out thanks coach we love you. But yeah it really just I am not creative enough to generate that level of content on the schedule at which we were doing it there's no way I was doing two videos a week perfectly you know it 2600 words full script did the only thing I was doing was taken the script in rehearsing it adding my delivery my physical comedy to it and then I edited and did the memes that's it.

But most of the video idea generation and most of the actual writing itself we tried to operate it like like a late night show what you have a professional suite of writers those writers have complete and total control the content I never limited not once I only said just don't get me fired from fucking you to because I'm feeding my kids right now. And yeah well yeah fuck you tube. Well especially there's there's some YouTube drama that came up this week that we can get into in a minute are you fully aware on that the current state of everything. Yes. Okay. Yeah I know that YouTube deleted we like shooting this gone through like we've been hit a ton. Yeah so they are back they they did reinstate the channel. Yeah they they reinstate of the channel. I know Sean has a meeting with no. And you're in erased all the strings so they're like they're back to where one starting with everything and it'll last two weeks.

I can't I can't say specifics here because it'll reveal the source but I am in the group chat that I think that idea blossomed in and I got to watch that. I'm not in no way shape or form today contribute to this I'm not going to take credit for anything I was just a fly on the wall gave a thumbs up to to a very powerful statement. I once again I will not say anything specific I will not say where this came from I cannot reveal this source period dot but I will say people are really like the upper echelon like the lead the gun tube leadership are real mad about this like really mad like. Legal action mad potentially in the future we don't know like we'll see we we're we're in a similar group chat group chat and Sean we practice a lot of the same stuff you did and. It's going to get it here so awesome yeah it's it is and. I know that we have we've been saying it for years and everybody has.

And this is what I think some take a little bit of departure from from you in the the world's okay it's gun show variety show background yes sir. You are one of the guys leading the charge under rumble I am yes like you're you're actively pushing that and. Which is which is great I know that every content creator has kind of said the same thing yeah we'll go over there but like we don't have like you're not the 800 pound gorilla essentially there sure there's not enough users to go over there but like we're on rumble we if you if you look at our chat like anybody watches live. You we have ten times the engagement on rumble that we do on YouTube and we generally get taken down on YouTube. Because we got a strike for saying a our 15 in our themes long that's fucking hilarious to me it's just fucking hilarious by my taking it's not a knock on rumble is that it's.

Same thing when. Solsh you know when trump got kicked off a Twitter and true sure sure sure if you don't like we can go there we can move all that stuff there but then you know who gets hurt. The new people the people that are trying to find out about guns because they don't know to go to rumble that's wow I have honestly that is a genuinely good objection that I have not heard yet thank you for telling me that because I have never had that perspective. Yeah if they're not there that's gonna be a tricky one to figure out if we're not there how does that 14 year old kid or that 16 year old kid or that kid that hey I can go buy a gun now how does he find out what he wants sure he knows what YouTube is but doesn't know what wrong. Yeah well we go into these other social media platforms and create these echo chambers but we miss the masses we miss the the only one the way to do it will be a search engine opt like just just be spit long but it be search engine optimization. To where like granted Google is not going to unoptimize their own yeah like Google owns YouTube so they're not going to send it there but like realistically if somebody's typing in content for like how to clean a bulk carrier group.

It's the first good entrance you see on Google isn't going to be you know go to do the do the after dark video yeah cleaning a BCG and you'll watch that from when I did that two weeks ago. Yeah you can't go into Google's had guns and then find the video you want if you go to YouTube you can find it obviously I mean yeah and you know there's other places out there but they're behind paywalls so that limits who can get to them so we've got to find a way to get the big people to accept us not just alienate them because then we have everybody else. It'll be interesting to see some stuff that shakes out of this but like I really appreciate all the things that rumble is done they're definitely more pro freedom. Yeah and so I've got I've got very very good news on that on that subject and on that regard. Go on.

Yeah absolutely. Oh shit I'm sorry am I going no you're good. Can you hear me I just had a major like sound hiccup there you sound great I said go on there we go. I give me a check one two one more time I just had my whole soundboard crash on me all right well I got you back I got you back. Sorry about that you said you had information about the rumble coming up and moving through. Yes okay so the really really good thing about that is the big guys know about rumble and they're starting I wouldn't say they trust rumble yet. I've had very very good conversations with Jared Yanis of guns and gadgets I've had very limited conversation with Mr. Guns and Gear obviously Sean from we like shooting is a big kind of Paragon of the rumble scene in the live and podcasting community so there's more than we really give a lot of credit for but no one's happy with rumble yet and that's the big thing that they've got to change and they've got to change it so desperately bad that I'll actually reveal an exclusive thing here.

No one's heard this yet officially I'm going to reveal this right now I have been talking about it for a good long while and I'm going to tell you I have officially pitched myself to rumble as a contract position as the official ambassador to the two way space on their behalf so they they let me effectively they would let me effectively represent them to the industry and hopefully given that authority they would also listen to me when I take all of the legitimate complaints that the current creators have given me things like the analytics being yes they're improved but not good enough you know lack of heat maps lack of audience information it's very difficult to sell deliverables based off if you don't if you are in a gun tuber aren't advertising I know none of these phrases in terms make any sense but this is the business side of it and that's not have weird ads for black powder shotguns so we're hoping to get rid of that too and I have a theory that I think is accurate enough for me to say I can believe it

I call it the content triangle right every every genre every niche of content has an audience it has a creator base and it has brains right we're talking wholesale get up and go movement de-platforming that whole thing that's never been done before how do you do it if you if you simplify the problem I genuinely think that any point on that triangle if you get two of those pieces to move you get the other one for free right if you get the audience and the creators to go the brands come with if you get the creators and the brands to go the audience goes that type of stuff they will eventually hopefully Joe to your your concern earlier they will hopefully just through word of mouth in this community because how strong it is they will eventually learn by default to search there yeah is that a little wistful thinking I'm sure that it is I have an unrelenting sense of optimism for the future that's probably very displaced but hey you know can't fix that part of me yet

you're not dead inside yet yeah I'm getting there we're getting there every every every time I got to consider more and more using the just for men then I die a little bit more inside there's more wisdom sparkles coming up every day in the beard you know but I'm not more actually has a great question here that I threw up on the screen does leaving comments and engaging videos is more because the name on rumble is it does on YouTube to so I will do my very best to answer this and this is part I'm trust me I'm going to record this and I'm sending this as part of my resume as my pitch here because this is what I want to do I want to be the guy everyone asks questions to the challenge they have right now is they don't have anybody that can speak to the challenges of the two way community so the answer to that question is yes and no it depends on where you do it and bear in mind I am not Rick resella I am not the technical guru behind rumble if you want an answer to that question you tag at Rick resella or at rumble Rick on X and he will get to you I promise you he's that good on standard wide screen eight to 13 minute videos or whatever you decide to watch podcast got a got a got a something that looks like this that's in wide screen landscape format

to the best of my understanding there is zero search algorithm associated with that content so leaving a comment and all of that stuff I don't really believe it has much of a has much of an impact on the performance of the video thumbs up might be a different story because thumbs up is more of a tangible thing that rumble can look at what a lot of people don't realize I've seen so if you guys don't know this I've been to the rumble HQ in Sarasota Florida I got to stay there for three days I did two shows from the podcast headquarters were like Bungino did his show and Russell branded that so fucking cool but so real quick Corey this is a live stream Corey Kim does from Facebook ask for a live stream or happening now it's happening right now like now now well we just pass now so when will then be now right now soon someone give me to the lorian hell yeah hopefully that that satisfies the curiosity of Corey

but where's it going with this shit I forgot what I'm talking about the algorithms and all that and if you do the same thing on shorts that's a different story right shorts do have a search algorithm from my understanding of the system and they very much are aggressive so if you like a short the way to make it perform from my understanding is to watch more than the first six seconds of it and then engage with it in any way shape or form whether that's a like a thumbs up a comment a share yada yada yada at that point in time I feel like it's kind of more of the standard of what we understand but one of my favorite things about rumble is also its biggest challenge we as a community have gotten so used to the broken system that YouTube is that YouTube is just kind of taking us and shuffle this off into this quiet little corner right and says I can't remember if it's Joe was talking about how it's so it's almost impossible to accidentally come across that was terrible choice of words

it's hard to come across gun content accidentally I mean depends on you break up or what are we going to talk about something else or any who you get what I'm saying here we have we have pre qualified gun people as gun people we don't need to work as as creators we don't need to worry that a gardening enthusiast is going to show up into our chat and be like oh what's this we accidentally stumbled across this wonderful looking livestream here that's never going to happen in a million years so when you move to a new platform and you don't have that pre built audience that is expecting something to be done in a specific way with a specific style to a specific tune of a specific algorithm and you take all of that away and hit the reset button from scratch people wonder why their best content only gets 25 views over there it's because nobody can find it it's because there's not enough volume the more volume you get out there the more people default to rumble for that gun content and the more eyeballs get there what we're looking at right now is we have a ton and I mean a ton of very I'm not speaking to anybody in the chat here because this is usually not indicative of anyone in the chat

we have a ton of casual gun enthusiast rumble users and viewers what we need to do is change the paradigm change the status quo and change the thought process I know that's going to be really challenging and I know once again hey turn a lot to miss that whole thing but change the default of everyone to say no to YouTube and they need to say no because they have conviction and they have belief in the things that they're standing for I have a major problem and I'm going to get a little accusatory in a little case of these when I talk to you guys specifically in the chat I'm really not talking to you guys I'm using you guys as the example of the greater community so please don't take offense to this but the day I walked around the chat I walked away from YouTube was that I didn't even get a strike or nothing there was no like bad there was no like big moment that said ah this is not for me anymore actually there was it just wasn't the impact of like a strike it was I put my heart and soul into a video that I was I was putting out really really happy with it super pumped excited for it to go out and just something I don't know all the gears in my head aligned and I realized that what I was doing when I was uploading that video

when all the forms of shit I'm filling out a fucking permission slip to talk about freedom and and and everything in my body just felt bad I know that sounds performative and everything like that but he did like I just felt like ass and I just said that's the most hypocritical thing I can do is is pitch a message of freedom while conforming licking the boot that's quote unquote allowing me the opportunity or the privilege if you want to put it there way of of doing that and I literally could not bring myself to do it anymore it was not like a choice in in in in in sense where it's like if we do this we lose this audience I love my YouTube audience and I really hope you guys find me on rumble but I just can't fucking do it anymore it hurts my soul I have spent so long telling you guys how long and how hard I'll for this right and for the second amendment as much as I love rumble I'm not a rumble homer rumble no longer becomes the best place for the second amendment I'll go to where is the best place for the second

if that happens to become YouTube again for whatever fucking reason great but I can't do things the way they're at now and rumble allows me to say what I want to say it allows me to be the person I wanted to be as as unhinged as I want to be and it allows me to be as I don't have to fake it anymore talking about faking it to you make it I don't get a fucking do that anymore here and with with all the complaints and with all of the challenge that rumble does induce into the creation system for me it's all outweighed by the abject definition of what freedom means to me and my ability to express it here more so than I can do on you to I think once again that the perfect example taking this out of my court is just showing the we like shooting channel again the debacle of this week that that has been it's it's shown people that this isn't this isn't a a drop it like it's Scott or this isn't Chris from you know our buddy down in the

or any of the folks down in Tennessee that we know like this isn't some small channel that that just got clipped you know it's wings clip before it could ever learn to fly no this is a fucking like I was like we were talking about this is a Mount Rushmore channel of gun content these guys have been around before fucking dinosaurs right and I love you John Any who when when people finally start to realize that there is a in my opinion there should be a default moral conflict between YouTube and your ability to access freedom and you don't have to feel that way I'm not trying to tell people they have to feel the same way I feel I just feel literally like revolted consuming content on that platform that is not that is of the freedom variety like I'll still go watch a video game thing from time to time but I genuinely hate the feeling that I get because I can't stop thinking about how shitty this little corner of the internet that we've been kind of sectioned

off into really is you know when you look at any other industry that doesn't have to deal with the bullshit that we have to deal with the opportunity is astronomical I mean it's insane to be able to build a hundred thousand subscriber YouTube channel in the firearms world is probably the equivalent of doing two to three times that many other industry at probably minimum would be my guess that might be a preposterous thing you should do it so props to you yet have considered it though and multiple dollars right now not to show you but I was I was real about you I need to do the effort to our gun rumble there has been requests and monies paid to have me do it topless we have not done that because they also sent a rumble rambulant tonight to just say if I radio just to say 20 on rifle which is you know strange but my boys over at the rim job radio there feels feels good when I listen to them just just tickles all the right spots

yes but you know what also take of the right spots a holster from clever tactical because we're need of a reliable custom kind of holster kind of holster clever tactical provide your one stop shop using premium USA source material clever tactical build you a variety of holsters and styles with lace light and laser options whether you're law enforcement a competitive shooter or everyday gun enthusiast dress a clever tactical by every fire motor has access to top here personalized holsters as well as quest of quality products you can't find anywhere else use code air 15 podcast for 10% off at clucker tactical dot com I mean that was you don't get better than that smooth as butter and now he just read radio sent a $5 rumble rant that just says but whole question work one of these days we're we're gonna like I have a new goal in life actually like I want to have this as a flex okay I make the joke in the comment about my ego and all that stuff but I do I do genuinely mean this I want to get big and like famous now but not for the reasons of having like extreme amounts of money I just want to have so much notoriety that I can convince the world that their

podcast is really rim job radio just so exactly like that's my new motivation they they it's gonna be so big that it will actually hurt them to keep the term rim fire radio and they'll have to change it one day I'll be great just go just go buy the domain change it search it I feel like everybody that looks for rim fire radio goes to that that's so funny that's so I bet we know computer I appreciate you outlaw it's not rim job radio oh my goodness where were we what were we doing back like you're saying like the stupid hypocrisy of the major social media corporations we don't want you talking about guns because guns are dangerous so you can do you do a safety video and it's still gonna get struck like how about instead of just ignoring it

and allowing the crazies to go out there we I got that why aren't we building the hey this is how to do it and you mean you watch some of the prank videos they allow where people should get shot and it's it's what they're it's not even worth at that point like fighting that comparison anymore because we know the system is out to get us like there's no I don't think we need to prove to anyone at this point like there's so much evidence saying like that video is it is not just a video is idiotically dumb and breaks every rule imaginable I'm just trying to teach people how to safely have a good time with guns and all the sudden you know I'm the world's biggest devil at this point there's so much evidence to the contrary that there is actual discrimination going on that I don't think we need to like fall down that rabbit hole it only hurts us I think really like getting stuck on that but look what they allow on here and I'm not criticizing Joe I apologize if I do sound like I am I think we need to break out of that and get to the next thing that I think you were talking about is that education like what do we do next do we build our own thing well my argument would be no every time somebody is tried to build gun to buy itself it fails because this industry well I mean the full 30 yes but any any number of other non pay walled free you know gun type YouTube platforms it's just there's not enough engage me

from our industry across all levels to support that on its own right yeah it's just not this this industry is notoriously are the the community I should say is notoriously hard to crack and get to do anything because we're so skeptical about how the media the government the fucking powers that be have always treated us that the second anybody in power says hey you should do this you're like oh really go fuck yourself I'm not going to do that and that's usually that you know five year fight and then they're like oh shit okay that is actually cool now and we can do this and I respect that about the community but it it brings in its own inherent challenge that it doesn't move fast and those services require constant constant constant income of money because of how much bandwidth I mean if you look at rumble and what they're doing they're buying up and you know I'm not going to do that buying up a I compute left and right so that they can make a bazillion dollars because that's what it costs to run media on the internet if you guys don't know YouTube operates at a loss every fucking year and is propped up by Google and ABC because of those costs involved they don't care it's the second biggest search engine in the world that's the value to them but I think hopefully my point comes across as like there is a sustain needed here and I think I'm not going to do that

and rumbles going for that to their their their I forgot I lost the plot shit I walked myself off the topic again I'm not even going to try to fight it what was I talking about well we were before we as you were pontificating about rumble and like YouTube and the battles back and forth between them and you're going through you were describing at length about how we have a constant battle of like hey we're doing this and we keep getting shoved in a corner Oh yeah this is going to sound like a terrible comparison and AI is going to do a dirty when we cut this up. But most of the gun industry and content creators almost have like battered woman syndrome we're like we keep going back to platforms that hate us because it's really yeah it's familiar it's what we know that's the whole industry in general is is what I've surmised at this point and once again that's not a shot that is in my opinion the reality I'm not saying that the reason people aren't moving to rumble is because I'm not going to do that, I'm not going to do that. The rumble is because they're too afraid to do this I've had those feelings before I don't really feel that way now after talking to a majority of the folks out there I genuinely believe that people feel trapped by the status quo they feel trapped by the way things are done right now and they need they need they need people to take risks and go blaze the trail build something up from the ground up ideally and in support of freedom and things like that and then I'm going to do that.

I'm going to do that and then prove that it works and that's what I'm trying to do here along with you guys along with Sean from we like shooting show Jeremy and Nick and all those guys over there so there are people really like the the rumble crew in this chat you were alluding to them earlier in the show talking about how much more engagement you get over here and that's so true for our show as well it's such a better harsh but it's such a it's such a more it's such a more authentic community here because people don't know how to do that. They don't have to be just like me they don't have to be afraid about what they say I can talk about the hilarity of making jokes about shooting brown people on my show last night with my buddy who's ice and no shoot targets at galactic pistol association matches because they're too brown blending in with the background it's fucking hilarious to make those jokes and have that fun and enjoy a little bit of dicey icy you know edgy comedy that's what comedy is about is pushing that boundary the many people that are in the show are in the show.

You're not able to do that anymore it's in my opinion not really worth doing and I'm not ready to fucking give up yet I got a lot of jokes left to tell. Yeah and no but that is that is great and I know that we have covered a wide scope of things and this has been an amazing show I am very excited to have you on again because you can talk and doggie. I'll keep talking I'll do a four hour show with you right now if you want me to because this is this is my passion like this is all of my life and like I've always felt drawn to something wanting to do something big I've I owe my entire sanity life professional career and image to the firearms industry in the community that prop me up on their shoulders and said hey this guy's cool enough to be one of you. So thank you community for doing that I don't get enough opportunity to tell you guys that but I want to give back and I want to try to find a way to leave a good mark on this industry and and to to have a lasting impact not necessarily my name but just I want to be the one who starts a movement that that gets us to have a conversation so if I can leave the audience with something and you guys with something my main goal with every job that I do or I'm not going to do that.

That I do or not job that I do but every podcast that I do every show that I do every interview that I go to every company that I talk to every personality or community member I always send them away with this please don't go create a rumble account if you don't want to don't stop posting on YouTube it that only hurts you but just consider the options and do me a favor and ask this question why be honest with yourself when you answer it but why do you. Continue to go to YouTube. Be honest with yourself when you answer that question if it's hey it's just what I know and it's my default response there's nothing wrong with that that's almost every single human being here including myself i'm still on YouTube all the time way more than I should. But the question in light of like why are we here is gun personalities gun fans that should hit a little bit closer to home. Why do you allow YouTube to dictate whether or not you can watch something why do you let that happen because make no mistake you are letting that happen you are an adult ideally in control of your own actions you are letting that happen it hurts to hear it sucks to hear but that is exactly what we do every time we willingly feed the beast we need to have this conversation with our friends and ask each other.

Why because of enough people do and that why gets loud enough all the sudden team green over here starts looking a lot more attractive because dole is already having success Garth and Joe tundee all these guys have have kind of built a firearms subculture you know come on in the waters just fine we'll take you that's what we want we want to be the most obvious choice for when the de platforming happens make no mistake the firearms industry. So the industry will be at some point in time I predict it will be the first entire industry to de platform from YouTube. Yeah make the call right now I don't know when it'll happen I'm hoping within the next few years five years maybe but please go around and just ask that question to everyone that you you watch gun to with why do you do this why do we do this why do we continue why do we not when somebody posts a passive aggressive look at what you do to my channel why do we feel simple

for that anymore why don't we say what are we doing about we don't have to call any creators out and say oh that's dumb why do you post that now we just need to start asking that question why are we allowing this to happen to us it's bullying well and I I want 1000% agree and I think that there's even like we can take it another step further probably sure because there's like there's channels that I watch and I watch him on YouTube because that's where they're at right they're not anywhere else sure. That's valid yeah personally like I watch a lot of the overlanding like talent side and you know some of that I have a great relationship with talent he was one of the first like gun channels to really ever like give me a pat on the shoulder and say you're fucking funny kid and then he went off and did it overlaid doing overlanding but I do talk to him from now and now again so he made another channel again we did yeah like he's he's standing up for the channel to just do gun content again good for him.

I want to do gun content and like I actually kind of found some of the like I like watches of the overlanding stuff but a lot of those guys are starting second or third channels because they don't want to hurt their main source of revenue which is the YouTube and like oh well we're doing this so I'm doing this other you know channel so that when YouTube kills it it doesn't nuke my livelihood yeah and if we reach out to kind of hey you're already publishing this video. Publish it here too exactly exactly at a certain point in time we want to go from because what we're doing right now Nick what you're talking about right now is just recruitment that's all we're trying to do we want to get enough recruits over here enough people getting that content out there to show that there is success right to show that there isn't a hint to show that there is an opportunity over here and then at some point in time that effort pivots from trying to recruit.

To trying to start people on rumble and that's where the drive really matters we're not really even at like the main critical point yet of trying to find a new home. For gun content when we all get together and decide where that place is going to be or at least come to a decent decision where that place is going to be when we start trying to convince people to create there as opposed to convert to that space that's where the real fight is going to happen and hopefully to Joe's point earlier. We have a lot of those challenges and a lot of those things figured out that's why I was so appreciative of you Joe bringing that argument up I've never heard that you know how do you know how does the 14 year old kid find. Tundra tactical or air 15 podcast on rumble if they don't know to look for rumble so that's where the audience comes in big time guys like you have such an important role in this getting to see behind that curtain and getting to see how. Gun tubers talk about their audience and their desire to keep their audience happy and in you know that influences what you tangibly see and touch and feel like you guys do not understand how important you are to not just like do you mean me but to Jared and Mike and tactical considerations and all those guys that we look up to as like the holy shit leaders of the community.

So when you ask those questions and when you say why are we doing that people are going to start to listen we just need to get that why a little bit louder it's I've been doing this for two years aggressively I mean shit dude like I'm wearing the fucking hat everywhere I go it's always on my head I'm always rep in the team because I believe this is the best place for in my right who fucking knows I'm willing to bet my future in my livelihood on the fact that I'm right I'm fairly confident that this is going to be. A long term home for the two a community will it be the I definitely hope so but we'll see. The end reality is it's on us to make the fucking move no one's going to do it for us it's not going to be Brandon Herrera he's got too much on his fucking plate it's not going to be anyone else they got too much on their fucking plate what we need to do all is fucking hold hands and starting in kumbaya together but really fucking loud. So Corey here in the comments came over from the air's our Facebook here said that or a story or a story channels are also getting the D on YouTube.

Oh, I was high-strangest channels are starting to have problems with the talk about anything outside of the four pre of your talk topics big foot aliens mom man dog man I'm curious the connection is overall they're trying to stifle free thinking and I'm sure yeah. Hey come to rumble if you if you want to see like conspiracy theory stuff look at the front page rumble and that's not a dig that's just a thing. Well, the thing is we have like. Tell her like you're saying we have to be the people talking about it when people ask hey where can you find the air when I'm out I was on it then. Uh, arc match then n-race arc match that original one out rapid cities I was there when people asked me about the podcast cuz I'm wearing the hat they're talking on it was doing interviews it's you can find us on rumble like you don't have to. If if you're on YouTube and somebody knows who you are they're going to be able to find you there. Sure. But if you say hey we're on rumble and that's a they're and they go home and they think about it maybe that's where they go and that's where they look you up.

Like we have to do a better job also of plugging it when we're talking to people absolutely. You know the USPSA was doing a great thing where they were actually by streaming some of their major events. Yeah, well that was the guy from what where were they streaming it sorry. Oh, they're streaming it to rumble and it was the guy from hundreds HD gold sunglasses was going around to a bunch of matches. They they rumble. They're just yeah they he okay talk to them in. Kind of thing. It's important to category. That's the kind of thing we need is like hey when we get these big events. There should be a hey this is shot show this is gun this is the life he from shot show at you are on rumble or the guys. Guys guys guys guys. I can't wait to tell you what I can't tell you. Something's in the works. Why does everybody keep making a sign in the is. For this one I would genuinely would have to have you sign an NBA for this one.

We had that we were told that last week on up. Yeah, I got told that last time a pre-meeting for a upcoming show they're like we can tell you this but. I've had I've had that that same one desire that you were just talking about so that that hit very close to home. That's why I said that. Elon if you hear this as it travels through your satellite internet yes because at least to us have it starly for rubble yeah dude that be awesome. But yeah my only message is just ask that question ask the question why start you don't have to do literally anything other than that at this point just just wait till. Enough people are screaming that question of why and then there will be somebody like myself that says yes there's more of us now let's do this thing. There are some big rumblings and big changes that we are on a bubble of something for the firearms industry in the way content is consumed people are. And I'm talking the people who know I mean maybe but.

I can't speak for them in that regard but people are mad like they're real fucking mad about what happened to the wheel like shooting channel and. There's a lot of there's a lot more pushback and a lot more focus to that pushback than I've ever seen before so. When I say that we're on a content bubble for the two a community know that something big is going to change and it's going to change here soon and that's why I want people to be prepared for it. Clacker that's a great question what's your thoughts on one of the like the challenge of one starting on rumble when the big guys moved to rumble. It will depend on the future the one thing I can't predict is what rumble does with their platform right now in the standard eight to 13 minute video you know the category that most people watch their standard gun to bond there's no search algorithm so. It just will depend on. What you want to see it's like old school you to when you actually had to like deep search for stuff as opposed to having it just force fed to you by by a computer program.

Well man I have a take on this sure if you start right now on rumble. When the big boys come and everybody follows them it's going to take them a long time to. Port all of their old stuff over so they're going to have one video maybe you've already got 50 if you've been one a week for a year right so when so guess who's going to show up in those recommended videos who's going to show up oh you like this so go watch this not them because they're now known to one or two episodes or. Whereas if you start here now you build your following here you have that but then when everybody else comes you're like hey I've already got maybe a couple hundred followers well you're the. They don't have anybody the day they show up so who's going to I would imagine who's going to get the publicity who's going to get the push it's going to be the people that are already here the way I always did it. Do you kind of made the joke about cracking the joke about riding co-tales i always relish the opportunity when somebody bigger came and stole the use from me because that gives me the opportunity to do the same right back to them so.

Play the game dog like there is a game to all of this there is a game to all of this that you have to learn and understand for the the uninitiated if you will when somebody big moves to a platform that's not a bad thing that's a massive opportunity because they're going to. Bring all of their audience with and those people just like Joe was saying are going to need more content to watch than they're going to then that creator is going to be able to provide because those people that are coming over to rumble from youtube to watch that content creator they've seen all that creator's stuff. They they're not going back to hundreds of thousands of hours of backlog they are current and they're out of shit to watch so what do you think they're going to start to do they're going to start to deep dive and dig for other gun content so why not being established member of the community here that multiple people do lead hundred tactical you know we're all talking about clicker or we're all talking about this guy eventually word of mouth because that's the secret about this industry everything operates on fucking word of mouth once some.

Somebody starts playing the game of telephone about you it's bound to spread to other people how I learned about do Lee that's how I learned about like a lot of other people in the industry and I'm sure that's how they learned about me there's the other thing you have to remember a lot of those big guys there they have a whole company behind them they've got. The editors and all that they've got to jump through hoops and make sure what they put on youtube stays up right now you rumble isn't nearly as oh you showed a gun or you talked about a suppressor or something like that you're not going to get struck they're not going to get banned. I mean it's an easier entry for those guys because you don't have to know everything about video editing and know all these stupid arbitrary rules that are going to change next week and you're going to get struck for something you already deleted. Where the serious XM of two FM radio like where the unhinged wild west where you know some of the big guys play like Howard Stern stuff like that but most of the major authority and all the the functioning fucking.

Lemmings out there they won't touch us with a ten foot pole that's the beauty of it is not having to play the game and once again I will I will try my best especially for a new creator. To instill upon you this belief all of that pales all of that fear all of them well I would hope the the dreams of money and grandeur I would hope that that would pale in comparison to the freedom that you get while here. The importance of telling the message the story whatever you want to deliver to your audience should be the primary and paramount reason why you do content not the money and not a safety net to keep your income flow going now once again I'm not criticizing people who have that status close there it was built around them they were you know we had to play the game. Some people are too big to make that jump right now they can't just risk it all for a fucking you know who knows if rumbles gonna be around in ten years we don't I'm gonna assume they are based on the moves they're making right now.

You're unaware they just signed a multi year thirteen billion dollar deal with another company and that usually means they're financially stable and sound usually not always but. Yeah. Talk about yourselves i'm fucking sleepy now I'm gonna fire radio rim job radio here said it best wait we get money for doing this I was just gonna say we don't make a dime doing this I do I make higher living on it. Yeah that's awesome we we get we make enough money to say hey we can get a free basically a free ship or to shot or guncon or something like that where we get to meet people like you where we get to meet the other creators or we get. We don't know what the whole news like we get a paid for bringing the inner you get to do more content like you get to talk to people or bring gun companies on and talk to these guys and create a friendship with them and get to know people which is is more enlightening or more. Uplifting then the dollar you're gonna make yeah the guys and I'm the guys at Gideon right like legends yeah that's what that sort of stuff is is what keeps.

Us involved with it it has nothing to do with trying to be able to pay my money that's that's the reason why you guys are getting there like it's it's a slow grind but it's it's networking it's talking to people it's hanging out at the parties doing the things it's experiencing all the fun stuff i mean i remember. I remember my first IV shoot you know going there and like i'm i'm a i'm a tiny fish in a tiny pond filled with really big fucking fish here. This is a weird feeling because i think i maybe had 500 subscribers on youtube the first time i got invited down there and i know that feeling just you just you learn to play the game and. At some point in time i remember going to work. During the middle of the fucking pandemic selling guns and cabellas asked me how that job was as a fucking nightmare. I like you have my sympathy sir yeah there was a line around the fucking building two times and no one was there to buy a boat.

And i was the only human being that could run the bound book for all of cabellas because every other dude that did it was a retiree aged guy and fucking quit because they didn't want to die or you have to get fucking jabbed up or nothing like that. Doctor cat milk says every time a creator says rumble hundred gets an m855 five round awesome actually i would fucking take that deal i would take that deal right now the exchange rates on that fucking gold. Yeah i i would also take that how many how many of those can i turn into a ddr five memory stick like a 32 gig right now Jesus. i'm trying to i'm trying to build out a new fucking computer for my nas at the house. I have a major problem is so one of these content creator problems that nobody understands is a problem until they get there is how do you store all your media. Because over the years you acquire a lot of it and you duck like if you're like me i panic anytime i permanently delete something it's it is like it's like paying bills like it's just anxiety.

Extreme so i don't delete things and it just accumulates and it accumulates and do you see my camera like i don't shoot on. SD cards i shoot on computer hard drives because when you're filming in pro res the file sizes yeah the file sizes are very very large. So when i come back off of a shoot like for goals i think i had four hundred and sixty gigabytes of raw footage from goals. Where do you put all that shit because i'm not gonna i'm not gonna sit down right after goals i can't do this because once again i'm a one man band i don't have an editor so i can't just sit down after i filmed for three days straight and go watch the exact three days straight again i would shoot myself i just suck start a shot. So i'll do a few days. Oh my god that was to this i that will go down as an all time or moment for me the upies moment which i do still have on my on my cellular telephone device which am using for a camera right now but that's just like i told Kurt that if you ever comes back on as a sponsor our promo code has to be upies legend.

So once got so bent out of shape about somebody making fun of me in a chat that i made their mom's name a promo code. 100% true and max and Mrs mom is still referenced often often in the chat so much so that actually somebody which i don't know who it is somebody created a rumble account named max and Mrs mom that allegedly share not allegedly occasionally shows up in our lives it's fun. She's a great lady. Townsend more ways than one maximum don't worry i'll be your step dad soon. All right well guys i think we've about push through for the night. Tyler where can people find you obviously on rumble at nine p.m. at nine p.m. central time on Saturday nights the world's okay is the gun show on but i didn't talk over that i'm just gonna cut that shit up and use it. That is exactly where you guys can find me i'm on the major so major socials as well every now and again i'll do a maintenance post to youtube to let people know where we're at and things like that so you can find us anywhere.

But i lost the email to that and it's fucking gone so yeah come find me anywhere hang out with us nine p.m. central Saturday nights we also do project brass works which is my journey through reloading it's kind of tough to do if you can't see behind me my basement flooded and it's fucking humid as all get out down here so i don't want to put a powder down. I have a question for you on this oh yes or I can talk to you about later are you doing six five creed more yet not yet no 308 9000 556 or the only dies i'm set up for now six five creed more will be in the next. Six five creed more will be in season two along with more than likely 338 arc along with there's a very light possibility that I can go into the six mil dash or route. Okay because when now that with the six five creed more peak plus stuff coming out yeah Lee has a four dice set for that i have a four die tool head Dylan and you watch your mouth from your talking to me.

Jesus and ladies calm down okay Jesus don't don't talk about your four die Dylan too loud you might get people pregnant or some shit this could be fun.
