Hello and welcome to Friday's edition of God's That Child. I'm excited to be here and I'm happy with what we've learned this week. So far, we're talking about answering the call. There is a call. There is a call to every single member of the body of Christ. There's a call on every single member of the body of Christ. And please understand, I'm not sharing this from that position of a teacher, pastor, apostle, and you know, because I have a calling, I think everybody needs to have a calling. Just get a calling, you know, but that's not it. It's sincerely not this is me speaking to you, the heart of the Father speaking from

1:00scripture to show that every one of us has a call. Every one of us has a race to run. Every one of us, well, members of the body of Christ and there is an expectation for all of us. You know, Paul wrote to the Corinthian church in Sego Corinthians chapter number five. And he dropped this very, very like interesting revelation in first, second Corinthians, rather chapter number five and then the 14th verse says, for the love of Christ compels us because with us judge that if one died for all, then all died. See that if one person died for all of us, then all of us died. Verse 15 says, and he died for all that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for him who died for them and rose again. See, he died for all that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for him

2:01who died and rose again. So that's not showing that all it's a live few people who expect that to do this, that show end that all of us see that all of us have been called to serve all of us have been called to function all of us extensions of Jesus Christ. The 17th, same second Corinthians chapter five says, therefore if anyone is in Christ, it is a new creation. All things have passed away behold. All things have become new. Now all things of God who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. So God gave that to us. Look at verse 19, that is God was in Christ reconciled in the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

3:01So God expects us to do something with the gospel to do something with the word. So we saw yesterday no spectators wanted. You might say, but I have people I'm mentoring, I have people I'm pastoring, I have people I'm coaching. So I really really need to do much. I just say at home, they come to me, which might be great, but as a thought, we're going to look up more next week and I'll just drop it today. Dream big for God. Think big for God. Dream big for God. Think big for God. Plan big for Him. Give big. Two big things. What does that mean? It means very many times when it comes to kind of issues, we kind of take it really low, slow, you know, like we got forever and we really don't. But any enemy is not asleep. They're planning strategizing, reaching in, covering places and spaces.

4:06What we're going to do? We said, well, if God wants it done, he will do it. I've realized that you you cannot conclude that if God wants anything done, he will get it done. In Mark 2 chapter number nine, beginning from the 35 verse, Jesus went about the cities and villages teaching preaching. And perhaps that he saw the multitude and he was moved to compassion because they were like sheep without a shepherd. And then he said, the harvest is plenty labor as a few. So I want you to see Jesus was standing right there and he had his disciples with him and then he still said the harvest was plenty. Jesus, you're there already. That's all you could have just, you know, just blown and everybody just yielded, but it doesn't work like that. So what did Jesus say? He said pray for the Lord of the harvest to send liberates into his field. Pray. So if we just stay and I know for justice, but you never know who's listening or who needs to hear it is like 10 times, you know, I was going to say 10,000 times.

5:07But maybe yeah, you know, but the harvest is plenty. Jesus said pray, meaning if if we stay on that ground of what if God's going to do, God will do it. Jesus said, well, harvest is plenty. My father knows that he's doing something about it. No, pray, he says pray, he says pray the Lord of the harvest to send liberates into his field. And what's in there is the world to frost. So it's a bit pushy, right? A bit forceful. But we must understand that no spectators are needed. No spectator don't sit there and say, oh, when I used to be this, oh, when I used to be that, when I used to be here or there, the times you could use that. Maybe you're trying to share with someone who is there at that time in their own lives now, but you have current testimonies also to share. And I understand, you know, sometimes I'm like that. I don't want to talk about what's happening right now. What God is doing and how things are going.

6:08Just don't share a lot about the past. But don't do that so that you could just, you know, glory in the past. People call it past glory. You want to be up and going for the Lord. You want to keep running. You want to keep running. So no spectators wanted. There's a race for you. There's a race for me. In 2nd Timothy chapter number 2, 2nd Timothy chapter number 2 from the 1st verse Paul says, you therefore my son be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that you've heard from me amongst many witnesses commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. You therefore must endure. And this one going out to the C3 things. You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare and tango's himself with their affairs of his life that he may

7:11please him who enlisted him as a soldier. And also he if anyone rather not he if anyone competes in athletics, he's not crowned on less competes according to the 6th, the hardworking farmer must be first partaker of the crops. So watch what Paul is doing here. He's talking to Timothy. He's son in the faith. All right. Son in ministry. And then he begins to tell him in verse 2, the things you've heard from me amongst many witnesses. Commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others. So there is that transgender side to the gospel. You hear things from Paul. Timothy, please share with other people who share with the other people. All right. Now look at verse 3, you therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier. Touch on this. All right. But later you therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Christ. So it means you're a soldier. Verse 4.

8:12No one engaged in warfare and tangles himself with their affairs of this life. That he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. So he gave us a soldier mindset. We're not going to be able to deal with that today. But it's a mindset that every one of us need to have soldiers. Soldiers are trained. They're groomed. They're disciplined and things are going to be tough. This is in your hardship as a good soldier. Verse 5. And also meaning in the same line I'm talking on. Also, if anyone completing athletics, he is not crowned on messy computer according to the rules. So you're a soldier. But then you're also an athlete. You're competing. You're running. And we've seen that is already there's a race to run. Verse 6. Now the hardworking farmer must be first part of the crop. So you're soldier, you're farmer, you're an athlete soldier, you're an athlete, you're farmer, you're farmer, you're soldier. That's us. So this begins to shape your mindset. These ideas that Paul communicates here to Timothy, the paint pictures of dedication

9:16to duty, ongoing on missions, on serving. So if this is us, then we cannot tolerate consistently that place of, I don't have notes. I don't know what to do. But Paul, Session, athlete, what do athletes do? They run. Do soldiers do they get commands? They go to war. What do farmers do they plant? So it means we need you planting. It means we need you running your race. It means we need you as a soldier of Christ facing that hardship, receiving instructions and commands from headquarters, which is heaven and pushing and go in. We need you on this. Paul, we saw yesterday, you know, saying to us that he's going to keep running, all right, pursuing that high call of God in Christ Jesus. So now I want to show you where he said, I have run the race. So Paul is just telling us what to do and without him doing it in second Timothy, chapter

10:16number four. And then we see in the seventh verse, when second Timothy chapter two, so just go to four and then verse seven. Paul says, I fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. And I'm going to read from the sixth, seventh and eighth, all right, verses that is for I'm already being poured out as a drink offering and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I've kept the faith. Finally, there is later for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, we gave to me on that day and not only me, but also to those who love is appearing. I want to read those three verses from the NLT. It is just important. We see how this is communicated. Ask for me. My life has already been poured out as an offering to God. The time of my death is near. As when he said departure, his referend to his death. The time of my death is near.

11:19I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me, but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearance. So Paul is in the prizes in my prizes and apostle. The prize is for everyone. So my brother, my sister, the prize is for you as well. You who love is appearing. But the love in of his appearing has what it does to us. Because I know he's coming. I know I'm going to see him. I know I'm going to meet with him. I want to tell him, oh Lord, the one talent you gave me. I made it to talents. Lord, the two talent you gave me now. You know, we have four from it. Lord of five you gave me. Now we got ten. Paul said the time of my death is near. I have fought the fight. I've finished the race.

12:19If you say, oh, I'm tired, I quit. I'm just no, no, no, the time of your own death is in the air. Please be a crazy and get back into the race. Please run this race. Run this race. Run this race. Have you one of us? I know it's Friday and you could just take the weekend and Lord. Here I am. I don't know exactly what you might want me to do. I don't exactly where you might want me to serve. I'll be getting from whatever is available to me. I'm going to shop on Sunday and tell my pastor, here I am. All right, I'm going to go to my ministry leader and say, here I am. I'm going to go to my home church leader and say, how can I help to move the work forward? Here I am. Here I am. That was a question from Isaiah chapter six. Who shall we send? Who shall go for us? And Isaiah responded, here I am. Send me. Here I am. But we don't have to say, oh God, send me. There's a call of God on you. Right now, there's a call of God on every one of us.
