About this episode

Amazon MGM Studios dropped the electrifying world premiere of their new thriller “The Runner,” starring Gal Gadot, where a high-powered lawyer’s morning jog turns into a heart-pounding chase across London to rescue her kidnapped son. The event in West Hollywood was a full-on running-themed spectacle — complete with Mena Massoud and Harry Jowsey in attendance, gift bags packed with running socks and electrolyte mix, and themed cocktails like the “Sprint Fizz” and “Runner’s High.” Guests even snapped photos in Gal’s iconic running pose at a branded photo booth — then got a chilling text: “We have your photos. Don’t ignore this message.” A masterclass in immersive marketing that’s already sending fans into a frenzy ahead of the September 2 Prime Video release.
