I can see you know, one of the things I can do. As if you told me like how many you have to wake up at five forty one tomorrow morning. I don't have to set an alarm. In a truck. To get up. That's amazing.

3:06I don't know what it is. Now I might look at the clock and it might be like three thirty eight or four ten. Yeah. But I could still then I can go back to sleep and wake up at this desire time. When you guys were discussing Elliot Davis not being invited to press conferences anymore. I thought you guys were making such great points about people who report on social media. And no one was like putting down doing that at all. But I think it might have been Joe who brought up the fact that the city or whoever it may be kind of need to have a relationship with a newsroom. Because if a reporter is doing something or reporting something in the wrong way or being

4:06inappropriate, they can then talk to that newsroom and work it out. And when you're just working for yourself and you're the only person at that outlet that makes it a lot more difficult to work out conflicts. I just thought that was something that maybe the average person doesn't think too much whenever they're consuming their news. Yeah. And as I said on there that, you know, I think I'm biased. Okay, I'm a print journalist. I still consider myself, you know, a fourth right. But I think to be in a in a press box to be in a situation like that, I think it is fair for you to be a representative of either a radio station and newspaper, a television station or an online publication that is designated, you know, thus, i.e. it's in a court. It's some kind of LC. It's some kind of something where if for no other better term could be sued. Right. Is there any some sort of accountability?

5:06Yeah, some sort of accountability. And in the in that any reporter, any camera person, anybody involved knows that the bottom line is I can't do anything that takes away from the publication or the company that I work for. And and those that are influencers and onlineers and all that, they don't even reported themselves. They're just out there. Well, and some people just wake up one day and say, hey, I'm going to do this today. I'm going to try to be a reporter. And that started. Yeah. And you can just say, well, let me in because I'm reporting on that. Yeah. And and I think people say like, no, you're not. And they said, well, you're in French. You can put my first amendment rights. And I get the RISC court decisions that maybe you can't do this or maybe you can't do that. But there's there is not one that says, um, I have a podcast that I talk about the cardinals. You have to give me a media credential. That's simply not true. And I think that would I can vouch. Yeah. I can't get near a depressed.

6:08I mean, that it's probably because you got like 27 month from cable X or something like that. Damn, you could probably get one. No, no, no, no, no, I owe Ackerman money. And he's holding that over my head. I don't know. I just thought it was such a great discussion because I have that debate with myself. Sometimes because I mean, I didn't go to J school, but I have access to certain things. And I'm like, so what makes me different than an influencer really? Like, I don't have a, I don't have a journalism degree that I can hold up and show you. But you, but camel X is your, camel X is a standard. And I don't mean that in compared to other radio stations like that, but you have to have some anchor for which you're representing, which that is why you were there. Yeah. It was just you guys were putting it in a way that I hadn't really thought about too much before. And I thought it was making an excellent point. And that's, you know, that's not making any sort of comment on Elliot Davis because he's obviously someone who worked in the newsmances for a long time. But just digging into that topic, it's like, okay, this is why we have these certain standards.

7:13Like you have to be able to fix a problem with maybe a higher authority instead of just letting one, you know, one person is doing it all and making all the decisions that's very rarely. We're a recipe for success. I went, Elliot Davis or anyone else just report something which is factually not correct. What do you do? I mean, do you say like Elliot that was wrong? So now you need to go on the air and or do whatever you do and tell your however many followers. And he says no. Then I was wrong and he doesn't do it. There you have no recalls. So that's not fair. That's not journalism. Yeah. I don't know what that is. So please compare and contrast what is going on in St. Louis with Elliot Davis and the mayor to what is going on in Washington DC with the president's ban on CNN, political and MSNOW? Well, because if you're a, you know, one of those networks, you have a right to cover the president of the United States, the president of the United States, just not get to decide that I'm not

8:15going to let you cover press conferences, things like that. That's in direct opposition to the, you know, the first man in the United States. And thus he knows it. Everybody else knows it. I don't know how long it'll take to filter out, but they'll be back in the White House here. How about, how about when Trump put out that truth social? I believe last night saying that I can't believe that these outlets didn't cover this big event. Like, MF are you're the one who told them not to show up? Like what are you doing? They did not get their credentials back. Yeah, but not go in there. And he's like, they didn't want to do it because it was such a glorious thing. And it would look too good for me. And it's like, what are you talking about? And that's yeah, there's a lot in the last month. It'd been a lot where like, you know, I keep up with it. And I'm I'm seriously, I try to take all whatever bias I have out of it. But I am looking at it said like, is anybody else other than me looking at him and listening to him? Because he does kind of sound like.

9:18I don't know say lose it, but it sounds like he's. Yeah, lose it. So yesterday, I was I was kind of proud of a little rant I did about it. And I brought up the auto pin when he was making fun and showing President G and G was laughing. All those people were laughing. And since then, not because of me obviously, but nationally, that's really blown up. And people are like, this is not okay. Like my point was keep in the damn family. Yeah. All right. I don't even I'm not comfortable with you making fun of a past president the way you do. I think it's disrespectful. I don't think you should do it. But keep it in the family. You don't bring in the communist leader and go like, look at this idiot, right? They're like, yeah, man, he was he was a total fool. Right. But you know, the parameters are not existent in the old office that we have now. All right, fine. Like I somebody else will be president one day and they will return sanity to that office. Whether they're Republican or different. You know, Kevin says that. A lot of people say that maybe a lot of people believe we'll never go back again.

10:21I hope we do. I hope we do. I choose to believe that we will. I don't know that you could I don't think I don't think you could run like Donald Trump has run, especially the second time and when I think whoever runs as a Republican will will will realize that I'm not going to I can't pull that off. You know, I can't I can't be mag. I hope they're smart enough to realize that. Yeah, I can't be mag and win the presidency. So over. You know, one thing I've been wanting to bring this point about week and I just happened is my TikTok is is recently full of Republicans doing town halls and just getting booed off stage. And I like it because I don't like them, but I like it because finally they're facing the real public. Yes. And I don't care whether you're Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, whatever. You should be uncomfortable. You should be uncomfortable when you're facing the public because they should have real questions. You should have really answers.

11:22Oh, absolutely. I think, you know, I am against, uh, you know, in the second congressional district, Mike Wilman, who's running as I'm like, never mind. Never mind St. Louis. Never mind. Most of St. Louis County. You need to live in Franklin County. You need to live down there and you need to go go to the VFW meeting. Go to the churches, go everywhere and said like, here, all I'm here to ask you is, are you happy with how things are going on and be okay? Just tell me, you know, why you couldn't see voting for me. Okay. And if they tell me something that is just hateful, not to him, but people like race or create or by immigrant or whatever, it's like, I'll because I hate those people or whatever. At least he knows like, well, what can I, I can't do nothing with that. Yeah. Right. Yeah. I can't, I can't change that. Maybe I can reach out to somebody, say, like, well, okay, explain to me why, and and he might get across.

12:22Try to win those votes. Yeah. And I think those votes are the winnerful right now. Well, your Mr. Kansas, it looks like a Democrat might actually have a chance in Kansas. But I mean, Laura Kelly did a great job. Yeah. Right. Now, you know, the, the, the previous administration's broke the state by eliminating the income tax that blew up in the whole face. And so it laid a, a runway for her to get elected. She did a great job over eight years. And I think a Democrat can win again. Is this the one was more moderate, you said? Yes. Yes. Yeah. No, she, she's very Kansas. I mean, it was just more of a case where like, you know, these idiots broke the state. And I've here to fix it. And that's how she got elected. This would have been eight years ago. Yeah. And she did a great job. You know what? It's always interesting to me. Like we moved away from, oh, he's, he's an outsider. Oh, the elite. No, I want someone. I want someone in office who knows more than me. I want them to be elite and have an education. When did that become bad? I agree with you. I want them highly educated. And I want them to know how the system works.

13:24Right. And I don't think being an outsider is necessarily the best thing. I think we had a propound to Ritz of Harvard and Yale. Okay. And, and I believe schools, I don't think that's necessary to be the president of the United States. However, I think it is necessary for you to have dealt at some point in your life with real individuals, real people. And I think that gives you a, whatever your political philosophy is, the more people you've met in life, then you have an understanding that I want to do this, but I understand why someone wouldn't vote this way. But I think that's what's best. So I'm going to win these votes to get done what I want to. And that's not to be like, I'm going to do whatever I can to win. That's more like, I'm going to do whatever I can to get my policies. But I do understand the, I understand the opposition to me. Yeah. Take a quick break. And I said, like, I don't know. Man, six years ago, it was supposed to be like this, taking that red wave and it did not happen.

21:40And so I don't know that it's going to happen. This, I won't know. I just don't know. I don't know. I know that 300,000 people signed petitions and whatnot about things in the state of Missouri. And those 300,000 people signed those petitions. And I do realize that that it had to be from every, you know, legislative district in the state. So this was why people, why people, conservatives, liberals, everybody signed. But I know the 300,000 people, they're going to vote. They're going to show up on November 3rd because they got, you know, they got some angst or an axed a grider. Yeah. You know, they're s is shaved. You know, like, right. So Missouri could be a bell, whether, you know, kind of, I don't think, you know, the house or the city's going to flip. Yeah. Let's, you know, in our state, legislature. One story I haven't heard much about. Ray Tendo, you're very interested in this. You are Alvin knowing thing about what's going on with the mayor and the police board and all that kind of stuff. No, it continues on. Go ahead, Rachel. If you, I don't really have anything new to report to you, Alvin. No, just the, the latest was, um, oh boy.

22:45It was the, she once again was the one no vote. It wasn't raises. Oh my gosh. I'm sorry. This is like two weeks ago. Oh boy. Let me, I've been trying to let it. Are they still at an impasse? Pretty much on everything. I know they, they got four votes against her. So she just, you know, Alvin did, did anything ever get resolved when it came to that officer's funeral and the, you know, the accusation. And now they just, they just moved on from that. Oh, I know what it was. Miss McCoy got to hire like three new communications assistants. And that's more than she has. I don't blame her for that. Right. I'm like, wait, that's, that's more than I have. Yeah. Right. Yeah. And it's because they want to get out there and Twitter verse and Instagram and get the police out there. And, you know, I, I, yeah. Yeah. So that was what they were at. I don't know quite what to make of her administration yet. I like the mayor personally. She's been on the show many, many times. Nice. I feel I give her a lot of grace because of the tornado.

23:47Right. That made a difficult job. Really, really difficult. But I just don't have a great feel for how things are going. I, I, you know, when you were, when everybody wants to get rid of the last mayor, okay, and I'm not saying specifically, but wherever city you're in. Oh, he had to go. She had to go. And somebody gets elected. And then there are people, me included, who would say to them say like, wait a minute. I thought everything was supposed to be fixed. That's all I heard. I heard one person was a problem. That one person is gone now. So wait, wait, wait, wait. I'm not saying the streets should be paved with gold. But it sounds to me that people are running into the same problems that the previous administration's had. Probably more than just that one person. Probably more than just that one person, especially in a city like St. Louis, where you, you have entrenched committees and entrenched political families and an entrenched ignorance that people just don't want to let go of. We are not an enlightened city. Entrenched ignorance.

24:48I like that. People try, but we are not an enlightened city. And others figured it out. We can't be like this. Well said, brother. Thank you, man. All right. Even though, even though I'm not a YouTube guy, if I could transport myself to 10 concerts, this would be in the 10 when they were at Red Rocks. Oh, yeah. That look cool. That look cool. I didn't see him at the dome. Did you? Yeah. I was a YouTube fan up until what was the album you just said? Red on hum. No, that was my last album. The one you said. You guys see that they just did a concert at their old school where they did their very first performance together? No. That was really cool. I did see too that the, it was in our prep today, Bono recorded a song with Dolly Parton and that was her final recording. Yeah, he said that she really kind of struggled with it, but she got out of bed when she was not feeling great and recorded it. Dolly Parton today. It is 925. You know what else I love about that story about Dolly recording with you too? Is they originally had another song that they wanted her to do. And she was like, no, this isn't right. She turned it down. So it's not like she was just like taking everything. Yeah, because a lot of people they get to that point in their career. It's like, oh, yeah, you want to do a song? Like sure, I'll make some money. She was still choosy and still new. Like she was only going to do what she wanted to do. How about that piece of crap nephew of hers? You didn't following this at all, right? I don't know.

26:49I've only seen the headlines that he's like trying to get more out of the situation than he should be getting. Yeah, he's trying to get millions and millions of dollars. And he's threatening people physically. I'm a killer. You all know, he seems to me to be like a weekend warrior kind of guy. I've never of all the true warriors I know. And I know a lot of them. I don't know a single one who talks about themselves. Right. Who would say it like that? Right. Anyone like that. It's like someone who brags about sports. Tell me that you were a really an athlete without telling me you weren't really an athlete. When you started telling me about all of your exploits. And then he basically threatened to take her legacy down. What I think happened. Like I would put money on it and I have not read too deep into it. But I bet he was spending as fast as he was making and she was taking care of him like paying him to be Earth's security. And he just thought that was going to keep on going. And it ended. I think he was scared that the other family was going to fight.

27:50You know, see his true colors and cut him off. And so now he's doing this whole. I'm an exposure. I don't even know what he's saying that he's going to reveal. I think it's nothing. You know, kind of freaked me out this week. I was watching something on CNN. I don't know if anyone else saw it. But they interviewed Willie Nelson. Who looks exactly the same. He always has. He's 93 years old. He has looked the same since I was little. He's going to be another one. If you don't like Willie, I don't like you. I love Willie Nelson. I've seen him in concert. Maybe I'm wrong but it seems like the kind of thing that like while you're looking for your own content you stumble upon and go, whoa, I think this lady is a teacher at my kid's school and then you go tattle on her but like it reminds me of when I was a little kid in church you were obviously expected to close your eyes during prayer but a lot of kids didn't. They would keep their eyes open and some of them would tell on the other kids for having open eyes. And I always thought that was so funny because the Sunday school teacher would be like, that means you had your eyes open too and the kid was always like, don't don't. Then I mean that's what it seems like to me. I mean maybe it was discovered in a completely different way but how do you like feel good about yourself being like, we got to get her out of the school. Like well you're the one who found the content in the first place. Ray, Chandru, do you guys remember, I know you do, but I don't remember what his take was when close was so vehement about if he saw

30:55soft porn naked photos of a friend of his daughter. Remember that when we had that discussion? Well, I remember he was a very firm believer that if you don't want naked pictures of yourself to show up on the internet don't take them. Don't take a naked picture. I remember that one. Just he accidentally, you're saying he accidentally saw no, it came up somehow. This is way before only fans, but it came up somehow like I'm sure just social media. And I believe what he said was if I saw of buddy's daughter, I would 100% tell him so that he could put a stop to it. And we're kind of like, I don't know if that's the coolest thing. But yeah, I would probably keep it to myself. Well, what's the story about the teacher that Rachel's talking about too is, like she can't now volunteer at school where her kids go. That's come on. But Andrew and I were saying like, sort of their other parents who've been maybe arrested in the past or yeah, cheating or like, how are you going to say because we're going to do?

31:58Yeah, you can't volunteer at your kids' school. It's just very puzzling. Agreed. Yeah, I'm just thinking of that awkward moment of like, guess what I found. Well, how did you find it?
