I'm a federal prosecutor in one form or another for more than 30 years.

4:23I started back in the 80s as an Army Jag prosecutor where I handle court martial cases and appeals. Everything from murder to military offenses, espionage, penalty cases. It was a wonderful way to start as a lawyer. But then about the six or seven year mark on active duty, the military tends to promote you out of the courtroom. So I just said decided at that point I never wanted to leave the courtroom. So instead I left the Army and I joined the Department of Justice where I served for 24 years, specifically at the DC US Attorney's Office where the prosecutors are responsible for all prosecutions in DC, not just the federal prosecutions, but all the local prosecutions. So we basically wore two hats. We were the federal prosecutors like the other 93 United States Attorney's offices around the country and in the territories. But we were also the district attorneys for the district of Columbia, just as if we were in the Chicago DA's office or Baltimore or Miami or L.A.

5:26or anywhere else in the country. We did it all and it is the most robust and frankly rewarding prosecutorial practice anywhere in the country because of those two hats that we wear. And after a little over 30 years as a Fed, I sat down with my wife who I call my better three quarters and we just had a decision to make. Do I continue on with the Department of Justice for another five years, ten years, fifteen years? Because I love the work, where do we try something new and we decided to try something new. And that is how I sort of started this crazy professional chapter two talking on TV on cable news, being on social media. I wasn't on, I didn't even know really what Facebook was while I was a Fed for 30 years. So I had to learn what it was all about running a YouTube channel. I mean things I never thought I would do. And most gratifyingly talking to organizations like this. I don't think I've ever said no to an invitation.

6:26So I get to speak to lots of activist groups like you all civic organizations, church organizations, you name it, you invite me and I'm there to talk about the rule of law based on what I know based on what I learned courtesy of y'all's tax dollars paying my salary for more than 30 years. So I feel like this is my way to give back and I do this really for the love of justice. And that's why my wife and I, her name is Nilo Far. She and her family had to flee Iran after the 1979 revolution. She had her rights as a woman, revoked once more. And here she is again, and she'll tell you she not only has seen this movie before she's lived this movie before. And that's why we're full partners in fighting for the rule of law, fighting for the Constitution every day. Okay, enough about me. Usually when I talk to groups, I talk about the legal issues of the day. And I think that's what I talked with you all about last time I was here. So we could talk about the Kennedy Center.

7:27I mean, think about the state of mind of somebody who says, if I can't put my name on a building, I'm going to destroy the building. And of course, the Republican parties sit sit there and they say and do nothing to stop it, right? Fortunately, we have a wonderful judge, Judge Cooper in DC who has said, no, no, no, no, no, sport. I called Donald Trump's sport because one, I'm from Jersey. So I have to stoop, you know, early and often. But that's my derogatory term for him. I don't know. The historical society, how come they let him just demolish the East Wing? Where is this? They filed suit and they tried to put a stop to it. And right up to the Supreme Court, they basically the Supreme Court conceded that all of this is likely illegal and unconstitutional. But oh, well, right. Which is everything that outrageous us should motivate us to get to the polls. Everything. So you know what?

8:27Let the outrageous continue. Yeah. Because he's actually losing support in his own mega call. Because guess what? People can't put gas in their car. Farmers can't afford fertilizer or diesel fuel. And do they give a rat? You know what about the Kennedy Center? Probably not. But we have to let all of the outrageous fuel us, not defeat us, not cause us to stay on the sidelines. I always say, just this is a team sport. We all need to be in the game. No sitting on the sidelines. So I welcome the outrageous. I really do. Because I think it will motivate us to finally put an end to this corrupt regime. And it starts today in Virginia, thus. What I think we need to do all day every day is have voting parties.

12:31During the entire voting, early voting theory. Let's have, you know, voting breakfast parties, brunch parties, lunch parties, dinner parties for voting the next day. Let's have voting happy hours. Let's do things that we've never had to do before. My wife does it. She's sitting there writing, you know, voter postcards till her hands cramp up. And frankly, she hasn't done that in the past. But we're doing it now. So let's take advantage of early voting. So let me go back to the Kennedy Center. We're only going to spend a minute on it because when Trump actually says, this would make George Borwell right 1984 just kind of spin in his grave. That Donald Trump can say stuff like this. He says the only thing that can save the Kennedy Center is if my name is put on the building. And if you don't let me do that, I'm going to tear it all down. So I just did a quick search of the things that he has put his name on and how they fared. Real real quick. Trump Taj Mahal Bankrupt Trump Castle Bankrupt Trump's Plaza Hotel in Cassino Bankrupt Plaza Hotel.

13:35Plaza Hotel in New York, a Trump property bankrupt Trump hotels and Cassino Resorts Bankrupt Trump Entertainment Resorts Bankrupt. Here are some of the failed ventures that he's put his name on Trump stakes gone Trump vodka gone Trump mortgage gone Trump University not only gone but had to pay $25 million to settle a fraud suit that was brought against the sham University Trump Airlines gone go Trump.com. Remember that no because it was gone before it ever started Trump magazine gone Trump network gone Trump water gone Trump the game. Who doesn't want to play Trump the game gone and that's not an exhaustive list. And then he stands up and tells us the only way we can save Kennedy Center is for me to put my name on it. Oh, come on. That's why it's in the state of it is because you don't get over here. So the good news is the courts are holding strong trying to protect the Kennedy Center. And when I say the courts are holding strong I'm talking about the trial court judges the vast majority of them with a couple of exceptions like the alien cannons of the world.

14:42The judges on the various courts of appeals around the country there for the most part staying strong. And then it's that Supreme Court. It is that corrupt radical right wing majority the ID locks who really they spent their professional careers trying to convince us they were. They were originalists and textualists and they care about the language of the Constitution and then they rule against it over and over and over and over again. If this doesn't inspire us to finally tackle Supreme Court reform then shame on us. Yeah. Shame on us. And I wish President Biden had an appetite for it. He didn't. But you know that business is usual and can reaching across the line and we've got to compromise. That's great. But we shouldn't let that sell out our rule of law and our Constitution. Yeah. 17:57But I'll be damned if we're not going to make it rain accountability eventually and if we don't if we don't I don't think we get to keep our republic. And we can have the debate whether we deserve to keep our republic we don't deserve to keep our republic apps and accountability. I think it's an academic discussion. I think we don't get to keep our republic if we blow the accountability challenge again. I think we can talk about the recent Supreme Court ruling in the voting by mail case which actually went our way and then we're really only two justices. Kevin was a wishy washy little punk. I'm sorry. Only two justices who ruled against it so in the event that issue comes back before the Supreme Court at some point because this ruling was a preliminary ruling on the shadow docket got help us. I think we're going to be okay even in the long run if he tries to attack. I think we're voting by mail again and he may or he may not we'll see and I think again this is ironic that Donald Trump stood up in front of his mega call. The several dozen that attended the pretend midterm for public convention thing and made them take an oath.

19:03Yes. And then he's going to send his DOJ flocus in the court and say well everything we're doing is about election integrity. You know what's the good. So, but listen that was a good ruling from the Supreme Court. We could talk about judge Emmett Sullivan in Washington DC who just put Todd Blanch on notice one more one more shot sport. One more shot to comply with my orders to give me the unredacted notes of the four FBI interviews with a 13 year old girl who directly a legacy was she was sexually assaulted by Donald Trump one more time September 24th. I've warned you twice and I know judge Sullivan. I appeared before judge Sullivan. You don't sleep on judge Sullivan and he is the one who held the OJ attorney's in contempt back during the senator Ted Stevens prosecution handled by my former office and he will do it again. He will do it again. He will do it again. He could be the jail or we could talk about he didn't put them in jail. No, no, but you know what once they were held in contempt.

20:11They did exactly what he had been telling them to do all along. He got to the desired result. Sometimes we use civil contempt to get the contempt or to purge the contempt and do what the judge told you to do. We could talk about 86 47 the great seashell king. Right, you know, for a career prosecutor. This is so offensive. James Comey snaps a pictures of seashells and posted on Instagram and they try to prosecute him for threatening the life of the president. I mean, it's so obviously baseless and vindictive and selective. I do want to use as a jumping off point 86 47 those numbers that we've heard so much about. And let me just say let me contradict myself and say why this case is going to be dismissed so fast it's going to make hot blanch his head spin is because Todd Blanch went on TV and when he was directly confronted with the question, well, there are tens of thousands of people who are saying 86 47 selling merchandise 86 40 set wearing it on their t shirts 86 47.

21:14And I'm quite sure you're investigating and intending to prosecute all of them, right? And he said, uh, no. Well, you don't need to the law degree to recognize that is a selective prosecution, which is unconstitutional because we all have a fifth amendment due process right not to be selectively or vindictively prosecuted. People are the foods at my former beloved home, the Department of Justice. But we put up the food. King cold, locked in law and and completely why bad the election. This is what we're afraid of. And that's why we're rolling to the polls, isn't it? That's why we're rolling. We can sit here and it's well, you know, there's just too much bad. Too much bad. We're fighting the bad all day every day. We don't have a perfect plan. We don't have all the power that he has that, you know, main buffoon. So if we use those numbers 86 47. I have been harping on two other numbers and I actually have them up on the wall of my studio directly across from me where I sit every day.

22:19And those numbers are 48 30 at 86 47. Does anybody know what that reference is 48 30. President, the next presidential. No, no, that's not. And we Nixon. Oh, back when Nixon's goons. See, this is what we should hold fast to because we we've seen this movie before. And we actually pursued accountability, not the way we should have fully because we let Nixon go and we'll talk about that too. But we actually pursued accountability for the Todd Blanche's of the world, right? I call him Todd John Mitchell Blanche because when Richard Nixon's goons during Watergate, and I also printed out a list of the crimes that are supported by the evidence that Richard Nixon committed but was never held accountable for my gosh, they look exactly like what Trump has been doing. Exactly obstruction of justice, you know, burying deeply damaging information, misusing the powers of the institutions of government to suppress information about the crimes he had commissioned exactly like Donald Trump.

23:30And when Richard Nixon's goons were committing these crimes together with and for the benefit of a criminal president, Richard Nixon, they thought they were untouchable. They thought they were full of rule of law is not going to come for them. And when Richard Nixon fell from power, 48 of them were criminally convicted and 30 of them went to Chris. Including his attorney general, hello, Todd, we're coming for you. There's precedent. There is precedent. Got to do it. So we have to remember that we've been through this before. We've been through worst in this before and back. And that's where we ended up. Now the piece that we missed back in 74 was the accountability for the criminal press.
