ACC football faces a new level of disrespect as undefeated programs Pitt and Virginia Tech prepare for a historic matchup—yet neither ranks in the AP Top 25. Is national bias holding the ACC back, or are preseason expectations overshadowing on-field results? Miami, Clemson, and Wake Forest all find themselves battling for respect, despite impressive coaching and standout performances from names like Darian Mensah, Tait Reynolds, and Gio Lopez.

The ACC Squad breaks down top storylines, including Miami vs. Clemson’s quarterback duel, Florida State’s must-win against Virginia, and how ACC coaches like Wake Forest’s Dave Clawson are overachieving with limited resources. Key conversations focus on strategic matchups in the trenches, quarterback development, and how rankings politics influence postseason hopes. Which ACC squad will silence the doubters and which program faces a season-defining weekend?

This is the Lockdown Podcast Network celebrating 10 years of your team every day. With my Sapphire preferred card, we took a trip to a desert oasis. Turning five times the points on Chase Travel, two times the points on all other travel plus a hundred dollar hotel credit. Chase Sapphire preferred, a card that's preferred for a reason. Guards issued by JP Morgan J's bank and a member of DSE subject to credit approval terms apply. College football is back, so Hilton called to me the superstition concierge to make your fan rituals a reality. Need a room to match your lucky number? We got you. Even a marching bandwicker call at 555 and 55 seconds. Hit it! When you need a team that will do whatever it takes on game day, it matters where you stay. Hilton, for this day. The ACC is so disrespected by the top 25 that this Pittsburgh versus Virginia Tech

matchup is about to make history for all the wrong reasons. Let's bring in the squad. You're talking ball with the ACC squad. From Florida state to North Carolina, from Syracuse to Miami and from NC State to California, it's the local experts of the Lockdown Podcast Network bringing you scoops breakdowns and the most comprehensive preview of the upcoming ACC weekend. Hang on, it could get loud, it could get heated, and it will definitely be fun. Squad up, you're part of the ACC squad. Also coming up on this episode of the squad, we'll preview the full slate of week five games in the Atlantic Coast Conference, including, and especially, Miami versus Clemson, because I'm Alex Dono of Lockdown Cains. We got Morgan Thomas from Lockdown Clemson. We got Jarvis Davis locked on Georgia Tech, Brian Smith from Lockdown Seminels, and this episode of the squad is brought to you by FanDuel. Make your most rewarding season ever with FanDuel Club.

Every week, check out the FanDuel app to see what's waiting for you. Brian Smith, I'll let you by the first round on this one. When I say history is being made for all the wrong reasons, the matchup coming up on Friday night between Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, it'll be the first time ever, a pair of 4-0 or better power four teams will meet in a matchup where neither of those 4-0 teams are ranked, and we have the associated press voters to thank for that, Brian. Is anybody surprised? The associated press poll is one of the most comedic in the world. A few weeks ago, BYU was ranked by one of the voters, like 12, 13, something like that. The next week, they went ranked. They didn't lose. They didn't have an injury quarterback, nothing. So I mean, everybody can look at the poll. It's an entertaining thing, but thank God it doesn't mean anything because it's just for

comedians at this point. Yeah, that's the thing about this whole Virginia Tech not being ranked because look who is the head coach? James Franklin. So, most of the time, that's what allowed this stuff is based off of name recognition. You get the benefit of the doubt when you have a certain head coach, you know, coach of your team. So for him to be sitting at 4-0 right now and not be ranked, I know James Franklin is probably saying like, oh, y'all messing with my bonus, man, y'all messing with my money. You know, I think I need y'all to get y'all acting together because this is one of those things where it's just like who's voting on this stuff, like the AP voters, the Associated Press, I understand that, but like, what are your names? And why are you, like, we need some transparency? I'm not saying you should do an hour show on ESPN that should be five minutes long and it end up being an hour, but man, I need some transparency. I need some answers because that's absolutely just ridiculous.

ACC a powerful for a conference, right? Last time I checked, you still have a powerful for a conference? I mean, if you four know and you got a guy who can sleep his way to eight or nine wins every year, not being ranked, I mean, come on, man, like that, that makes no sense. Well, here's what I think is really happening. You know, the ACC always pays the price for preseason expectations and conference reputation in a lot of ways. I like to say I will be the Paul Fein mom of the ACC if they need one really because they need a figurehead out there stomping and really beating the drum of the ACC. Mark Packer was one that could do it on the ACC network, but, you know, he's since enjoying himself at the beach more now. But if you look at July, Miami was picked, you know, good SMU Louisville, Clemson maybe, but Duke and Virginia Tech pit, they weren't picked very high up. So now that they're undefeated people, in my opinion, they're getting, they're getting

beat up by the preseason, you know, people are saying, well, you got to show us more. Let me, let me throw this out there. If Clemson had Duke's resume, Clemson will be ranked. That probably will top 10 team. And then this is a record. Yeah, man. And like, Duke is the, the Ryan, the ACC champ. Like what's there? Excuse for the hell looking great and they're unranked. They got made and in wake forest. I'm going to have to say one, but wake forest went into former number 16 Louisville and beat Louisville at their home stadium. And of course, they promptly dropped Louisville out of the top 25, but they don't reward wake forest for beating. It's just they're unranked still. Wake for it. It's on the math, a matching. No. By the way, wake forest might be the best coach team in the Atlantic coast conference so far this year. That guy's, that guy's good, man. For what he has, I mean, I'll be honest, if this team right here, in an upiron him, I

wouldn't have a problem with it. I'm not saying he'd be perfect, but like they would be disciplined. Unlike last three years. But this football teams beat teams that are a little bit more talented. I'm pretty much a majority of time, majority of time. You're going to get those guys going to come out with a win. That's more different. Did you imagine what he would do if he had like Clemson's talent for the state's talent? Come on, man. Yeah, that's what I mean. Oh, yeah. And that budget that they owe those teams have too. Right. Yeah, wake forest is in the bottom third of the P4. So yeah, I. Matt, if he doesn't end up with ACC coach of the year, the way they've started out, I would be very surprised because they're, who I think they're going to finish in the top three of the ACC. Probably not. They don't have the depth. That dude has done more with less this year. Like, they were competitive with Miami. They don't have a half the roster the hurricanes do. And O'Donnell was probably sweating. I didn't text him during the game very much because I didn't want him to have a heart

attack. They were competitive with the team that had far more talent named three guys for wake force at which start of Miami. The receiver. Oh, one guy even like that's the receiver that they have is really good, but he wouldn't start at Miami. Hernandez, but he like he's, I don't know. He might third receiver, maybe. That's like the third guy. Yeah, he smokes every. He's productive. He's productive. But yeah, like outside of him. That's what I mean. It's unbelievable. So I think the ACC, well, I pick on it. Like there's, they've over achieved so far. Wake force is better than we thought. SMU's pretty decent. Pittsburgh, I need, I haven't seen enough, but they've got a legit quarterback. We're waiting on Morgan's team. We'll find out this weekend. If I don't hear from you after this weekend, we'll know. I have a feeling I'm not going to hear. The reason why you're talking so much love about Wake Forest is, in my opinion, I mean,

somehow Geolope has is a quarterback that plays legitimate ball. I mean, we thought Geolope has was a nobody. And now he goes. I thought it was a bomb. Yeah, we thought he was a bomb. He goes to wake. Yes. Now all of a sudden, he's out here throwing 300 yard games, eight touchdowns, one interception. I mean, the argument is that Davo fumbled by not going out and getting him. So if you really think about it, quarterback play is the reason why a lot of these guys, a lot of these teams are up doing well. And quarterback play is the reason why Clemson, Ryan, like you said, we're just waiting to see. Did you imagine what Clemson would look at? That's probably going to be a big theme in Miami at Clemson. And we're going to dive more into that in a moment. And just to kind of put a bow on this ranking thing, guys, a lot of people, including myself, are just upset about the SEC bias. And like, okay, the SEC deserves to have a bunch of teams ranked.

There's no question. Like, I'm not questioning that. They've got 10 teams ranked, though. And Missouri and Tennessee year after year, it just feels like they're always in there so that other SEC teams can get ranked wins. Because the bottom line on Missouri and Tennessee, and this is an irrefutable fact, in the last two seasons, neither of them has beaten a power for opponent with an above 500 record. Like, you know, it hasn't done that at all since he's been at Missouri. Has it beat a team that finished in the top 25? Yeah. Yeah. So it's, they're, they're taking up spots like, and listen, the Florida Gators are tremendous to start the year, but they're about to get another ranked win when they steam roll, Missouri this weekend. Should it really be a ranked win? The one last week against, against Ole Miss, absolutely. This week, what they're about to do to Mizzou, I'm not so sure when you've got ACC teams that deserve it a lot more, but I want to dive headfirst into Miami versus Clemson on Saturday night, which has National Spotlight 730 PM on ABC from Death Valley.

Kirk Herb Street's going to be calling that game. You want to keep it right here. I'm Alex Dono from Lockdown Cains. We got Morgan Thomas from Lockdown Clemson. So the fighting Alex Dono's and the fighting Morgan Thomas's are going to go to head to head

on Saturday. And so like Morgan, you were bringing up the quarterback issues with Clemson. You know, Tate Reynolds taken over as the starting quarterback and he's going through the freshman growing pains that a lot of people would expect, right? I would imagine Clemson's going to try to do everything they can to not allow Miami to force state rentals to beat them. That they're, you know, Clemson's going to do whatever they can to not make this dairy in Mensa versus Tate Reynolds because it plays out that way. It's not going to play out well. You must have been watching locked on Clemson and I really appreciate the view there. I mean, every day or thank you, thank you for being in every day or in tuning in and making my show your first listen. I will say that you're 100% right. We can't make this quarterback versus quarterback. Tate Reynolds is a freshman, but here's where I'm agitated. Okay. I'm going to try to calm down, not be too frustrated with this, but as I said on the radio

last night, this is what you gave us, meaning dabbo and staff. So we can say, well, he's a freshman. He's going through growing pains. This was a power for a team that had been to multiple playoffs and multiple national championships and won multiple ACC's and you sold us on Christopher, Vazina and then he lasted 45 snaps. And now you're selling us on a true freshman and you're going to also play the thing of the, well, he's just a freshman. I mean, I'm sorry, but as a guy who has to analyze it from the outside, I look at it and I say, this is what you're presenting to me. And I know I know I could, I mean, every single game I could say, well, he's just a freshman because that's going to be all this season. But the truth is, you're hosting Miami at home. Phil did manage is not the same that it used to be. And they've lost a few games at home recently against ACC opponents. They've lost to Dairy and Mensa 46, 45 just last season and Cooper Barcait was on that

team too. And you know, you've got tape Reynolds who didn't play his senior year. You know, that's the thing is, is this is what the staff has provided to us. So this is what I have to run with and I have to hold him accountable to be in the starter of a power for team that's trying to be an elite team. That being said, I'm excited about the game. I have 730 Kirk Herbstree night game is good. It might rain that will probably help Clemson in my opinion. But I do believe that you want to avoid it being quarterback versus quarterback. They've seemed to find something that's working in spreading the team out and running the football, whether it be with Tate's legs or with Gideon Davidson's legs. You might see a lot of or you should see a lot of five wide, but be careful of the quarterback. I don't want to say the same name because I think you might take this the wrong way. But kind of in the days of Lamar Jackson in the sense of five wide was not a passing formation

for Lamar Jackson. Basically, that's what Chad Morris has done. We're going to go five wide and we're going to see how much it spreads you out and then probably going to run the quarterback or probably going to throw a screen to the outside. If that kind of works here and there, then they'll go to a four wide spread with Gideon Davidson. They can't afford to have more of a traditional offense because the offensive line just can't handle it. As you're right, Alex, it's just you don't want to play quarterback versus quarterback because I do believe that men says win in that every time. I think in this situation, when you have a true freshman going to any game, okay, how good that for a true freshman is. I remember going back to when Tech played against Tennessee and face on Brandon and get ready for him. He's great. He's amazing. Man, they about to run this ball 35 times and he's probably going to get add on 10 of them. So they have 45 times. I think that this is the type of game that Chad Morris, that both swing, this way you

own your money, man. How smart can you be? How can you set this man up for success because you put yourself in this situation like Morgan just laid out? So you have to figure it out. You can't just say, oh, that's a friend. You can't write that out. I'm ho hard on the grids with you. You get paid a lot of money. A lot of money to figure these things out and be able to run these organizations, man. You're talking about hundreds of millions of dollars going into these programs and to and TV deals and all that stuff, man. Ain't no excuse talking about. Oh, you're happy you're choosing. Love who you want to come to this school. So you can't see that we say, oh, we gotta let him develop. No, man, that's the NFL. You know, when a lot more is on the line, this is college, baby, you got 85, 90 folks you can put on your team. So yeah, somebody better be able to play the quarterback position. So yeah, but I think it's going to be a game where that bull champ more. Yeah, welcome back. Chad.

Hey, this is all great. But man, you have to come over to game plan to be able to move their ball up down a few. They better get TJ Moore and Bryant West co involved from the outset for this game will go sideways. Those two guys can play for anybody. They are elite. And like I know TJ, he used to go to school two miles from where I live. I knew that kid. I saw him. I said, go check on me. Didn't tell me about him before that kid's going to NFL and that's where he's headed. Then they scheme it up because Miami knows that too. They're going to play close. They're going to make him try to read defenses, change coverages. We try to get that ball to go to the game's most quick as you can. Yeah, that I'm not buying that clumps other run games gotten better. Sure, Morgan is very happy about that. But I got I got news for Morgan and everybody in that valley. Miami also has this thing called a defense. Their secondary is banged up some. I will grant you that. That is true. That front seven is nasty. So you better be ready.

Miami right now, Brian and listen to it. There's always statistics can be a weird thing when Miami's played a couple of pretty bad teams, but top in the nation right now in rushing defense. They're only giving up 39 and a half yards per game. But this is this is going to be a great test because I've seen what Gideon Davidson's been doing. And I see the threat of tape rental. So this is going to be a great test for Miami's front seven. And on the flip side for Miami, obviously, you know, the offense is capable of scoring and winning track needs and all that. But I am really looking forward to is a possible question mark. What Miami's offensive line can do in this game because Clemson's got some dudes in their front seven will held Sammy Brown. So Miami's offensive line, it's been a work in progress to this point, which is not something you usually say about a Mario Cristobal coach team, but they had to replace four of their starters from last year. The guard positions have been up and down to this point.

I think that Miami's top left guard in this game, whether he starts or not, I think he's going to play the most snaps at that position in this game is a true freshman Ben Cognan, who looked really good against Central Michigan, but that's Central Michigan. This is Clemson now. So this is going to be a different operation. So I think both teams are going to want to establish a running game. It's probably more than necessity for Clemson than it is for Miami, but Miami is always going to want to run the football. So whatever sort of success or lack thereof, Miami's offensive line has, I think could decide whether this is a close game or not. Well, let me let me kind of flip it on a positive side because probably every Clemson fan just screaming at me for about being positive. But they wouldn't want me to be a sunshine pump or either, but I will say this, Wake gave us something. I mean, when you look back after, you know, late in the third, I mean, you know, I don't know how many guys you had on the bench at that time, because I know you were already winning that game, but from the box score, look like your starters were still out there.

So the most, the ones that were healthy, bunch of guys got injured in that game. But yeah, the starters were still out there. So whatever it may be seeing in the third quarter and the late in the third quarter and then in the fourth quarter, punt, punt, punt, miss, fill goal, end of game, gives a little bit of a glimmer of hope that maybe there's some tape that Clemson can use because as Brian said, there's resources at Clemson that are not at Wake. So if Wake was able to do that and be able to put something together, then this can't be, you know, just a blowout game. That's the thing you want to avoid. You've already had the blowout game. Nobody in the upstate of South Carolina wants to see what happened week one again. I don't, I don't even know if I want to go into the radio station if that happens again. But what I will say is that there is a little bit of something that Wake was able to do. And if that rain holds true, it's not going to be good for me flying airplanes, but it will be good for a team that likes to run the ball and really doesn't want to have to

throw the ball. And that would be Clemson more than Miami. So maybe there's something to that. I know you both are going to tell, are you all going to tell me that I'm a little bit reaching, but I got to take something. I don't think you are reaching because it moves back to Miami having a young offensive line and Wake Forest made some great defensive adjustments where they were stunting and twisting. And I think there was a little confusion up front. And Miami got very conservative. And Darian Mensa was under a lot of pressure. And you know, they basically, and I didn't like the way offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson was calling plays in that second half. I think he was calling the game a little scared. So but I think there's definitely something there. And I'm sure Davo and Tom Allen are looking at that Wake Forest film and figuring out, okay, what did we see there in that second half? And how can we emulate that or take that even farther? I definitely think there's something there. Morgan, do you think they can run the ball on the inside? Miami's big up front, man. And they're physically gifted too.

I mean, if they can't get anything going, and I think the problem is is that Cal gave us a glimmer of hope, but Cal is not Miami, as you said. You know, if they can't, then you're going to know in 15 plays if this, if, you know, if this game's going to be over, I don't believe if a team can't run on this, if Clemson can't run the ball successfully inside or outside, it's going to be a long night. And I've been, I've been in death Valley with a lot of long nights in the past, mostly with Florida state teams, but, you know, I'm prepared for it if I have to be. Well, take Reynolds, I told Dono this earlier today is like a hundred and thirty second in the country yards per passing play like he's just not ready. He's in a situation that it's not Tate's fault. Well, as you mentioned, TJ Moore, this is something that really hurts my heart. Uh oh. TJ Moore has one touchdown that came from Christopher, Vizina Christopher, Vizina was was was dropped two and a half games ago.

Tate has 61 more passing attempts than Christopher, Vizina. Both of them have one touchdown. Hey, not good. It's not that encouraging. Yeah, I don't think he's able to read the defense like when they switch coverages after the snap, I'm not sure he's ready for that. And the coaching staff at Clemson's probably well aware. And I do think they try to avoid him throwing the ball down, feel they really haven't thrown the ball down the field. One thing that I will say that's encouraging is that unlike Cade, when he does scramble, I don't really call it scrambling. I call it more of like just moving the pocket because he does keep his eyes downfield. So I do like that at least. Now the passes aren't that great, but I mean, he does have a down the field mentality when he's moving around. Miami versus Clemson Saturday night. Miami favored by 16 and a half on the road, which even I think that's a really big number. And from a Miami point of view, I don't care if Miami wins by one point or 30

points, just just go into death Valley and get a win. And I'm sure Morgan feels the same way about this game on the Clemson side, just try to get a dub here. Some other big games in the ACC this weekend. And you know what, I'm going to call Florida State hosting Virginia a big game. And the Cavaliers are favored by just two and a half points in Tallahassee. We'll talk about that and so much more as we are not done yet on this brand new episode of Blocked on ACC Squad. College football is back. So Hilton called me the superstition concierge to make your fan rituals a reality. Need a room to match your lucky number? Thanks for making this ACC squad your first listen. Alex Dono from Lockdown Cains Jarvis Davis from Lockdown Georgia Tech Morgan Thomas from Lockdown Clemson Brian Smith from Lockdown Seminals. All right. So Brian, I don't know how we're feeling about that Tony White defense and Tallahassee right now. But I think we all know what Virginia is going to try to do. That's going to be run the football a lot. Both Probuella is going to try to do that. So the game plan might be relatively simple for that Florida state.

Virginia comes in as two and a half point favorites. How do you think this one plays out? I think it'll be a very good game. I brought this up on my show. For today, look, Florida state has several players for what I've heard. But let's just say they have wandering eyes for their future. You know what I mean? It's just a kid in a candy shop with, you know, he's got the key and nobody's there. In other words, some of those guys ain't long, but you also need to put good tape out there if you want to go somewhere else. Or if you're good enough like, Deuce Robinson knows this stuff so well, but he's an NFL player. He's going to ball. It's hard. He's a he can't. And he's a legacy guy. So if they play good the first five, eight minutes, if they withstand whatever it is Virginia throws at him and I'll get into that in a second, then this game could be very close. Don't get still one of the hardest stadiums in the country to play at. It's very intimidating. I'm curious. However, if for whatever reason,

let's say Virginia goes up 10 to nothing, the Tomahawk chop will come off the board and the fire might nor have it. Like every time he's mentioned like they booing from the outset of the like before the game, it's gotten to the point. I'm really concerned about like they're being an incident in around the stadium. Like it's that kind of stuff like hatred is real. So if they start poorly, not only could it go south, but like it could be an all-time bad situation. Hey, the administration and I hammer them every day. Why wouldn't today be another one? It's your all's fault. You should have fired him after 24. You should have fired him after 25. You didn't. Here we are. I think this game would be close. I've got Virginia winning by a few gold. I trust Tony Elliott more. Ironically, I'm sure Morgan is very fond of him. He might be the next head coach at Clemson. Seems like a good guy too. You like whether Davos now or later, he's he's the most likely guy.

He's got a great story. But for this game, like think about what they've done. Virginia is not a place that wins consistently. They're academic standards a lot like Georgia, Texas, not even harder. Bro, they they are winning games with old school football. And what's the one thing the FSU sucks at? Stop in the run and get's big powerful teams. Well, that's what UVA does. This is not a matchup or four to state really figures to win at the winus Grimmage. You're going to see some 1985 Chicago Bears style offense GT Duo. Here we come. They got four running backs plus Bo Perbule. Give me the Cavaliers to. But you know why this spray is so close burn? I feel like this spray is so close because of Bo Perbule. You can't throw the football. Yeah. You know how you run up the store and you cover the sprays? Like quarterback and slang that bad boy. Darren Miss, I'm sure it's covered a lot of sprays for. For Virginia's. Have Gary mentioned your spread would be 17 points.

But yeah, oh yeah, easy. Because that's because if it's ability to be able to throw the football and get up on teams and once you get up on teams, man, like, hey, that's that's how things work. But I feel like this is good. This this game is probably closer than it probably should be. It's because of Virginia's quarterback and his ability to throw the rock. And I don't think he's been tried and tested on it. Like if I feel like the Florida State runs lows up on that run and and watch some film and understand what his capabilities are, I would try. I would try. I throw eight in the box. I would. You know, hard beat. I would beat me. Beat me through on the ball. Like I need you to beat me through on the ball. That's how many white speakers is they always play soft coverage though. That is so weird to me. Yeah, I look third and one. Don't be eight nine yards off the ball. Literally. That's what he can't throw the football. But has 11 touchdowns.

Well, that means I'm just thinking. I know and I agree with you. Yeah, but I'm just thinking. I'm about to play Miami with a guy who has one touchdown. So, you know, it that worries me. But when we talk, isn't it weird? I mean, I've grown up. I'm almost 40. I'm a grown man almost a grown man. And I would say. I don't know when we've seen Virginia as a as a favorite going into dope Campbell. I mean, it's kind of crazy to say that. Yeah, you're like time. I don't think they have been in your lifetime. Because yeah, probably not right. I mean, this is not a typical ACC powerhouse. But this is, you know, Virginia's first true road game. You know, this year is going to be a big test. I mean, but as you mentioned, Tony Elliott, you know, is a guy who, it's so funny when he left, we're kind of all like, hey, let's find him a job because we were frustrated with DJU.

And come to find out it was DJU that we were, we should have been more frustrated with than him. So we kind of now want Tony Elliott back. But, um, you know, obviously from a Climpsons standpoint, we're cheering for Tony Elliott to win the game. But I do think it's going to be a close one like you said. Can't trust a quarterback, but you also can't trust Daniels. Can you? I mean, it's going to be on a Saturday. No, no. Asking Daniels will have at least one wild play against Virginia that is ESPN top 10, you know, have one of those plays where they make fun of it. He is a locked for both. I think Florida State's going to win a close game because I just, I want Mike Norvel to stay employed until the Miami game in a few weeks. That's, yeah, get it close. Get a close when, get that seat. I know the seat will always stay hot with the fans, but get that seat a little cooler with the administration. And let's roll in a few weeks.

So another game that I think is super intriguing to me. And it will start with Jarvis on this one is, and it's too bad that Grayson Boone and Kent and Gibbs aren't here. I guess they didn't want the smoke on this one. But Louisville goes into NC State. Louisville is a three and a half point favorite, but Jarvis, is this going to just depend on Lincoln-Keenholz? Because he's a game time decision for Louisville. If he plays, I think Louisville bounces back and wins. If he doesn't, I'm picking NC State. Yeah, I'll pick NC State because you know, C.J. Bailey is good. For playing in really well in games, you know, like he almost played well into last couple of seconds. There, you know, it was a little bit out of the weird, but I think this, yeah, if Lincoln-Keenholz is in the plan, I don't know who to back up. Do y'all know the backup? It's a little, it's a transfer from West Georgia. I looked, I had to look it up today. It's, you know, who could forget Daven Widener, former West Georgia, I don't even know what West Georgia's mascot is.

That would be their next question. They're the wolves now. They used to be something else. I forgot. There's a D2 school. We used to play against them back in the day for a year. I mean, if you're changing your mascot, that's there's, you know, it's hard. It's like I wouldn't- So much uncertainty. Yeah, there's so much uncertainty. They can't even stick with a mascot. There's no way- Can't have a victory. The victory. Yeah, man. So yeah, I think that Jeff Brahms, unless, unless talking about coaches earning their salaries, Jeff Brahms has been known to be a quarterback, a bad-wish-per-rurve, you know, a little bit. So, but yeah, I don't see if Kingo doesn't play, I think CJ Bailey and Friends, they're gonna- they're gonna get- They're gonna get a job done for sure. You don't win without your quarterback on the road. Yeah, no. Yeah, pretty much. That's a good point. Good point. Any- any- any parting thoughts, Morgan, before we wrap this party up? I refuse to talk about NC State. They are dead to me, Dave Doran.

I don't- no, I'm just kidding. I- I mean, obviously, it was really funny to watch CJ do that. I mean, I hope he does it again. Be great to- to run it back and, you know, try not to- try to run out the clock while also fumbling in the Inzones. The great audience. Morgan is a hate- Oh my gosh. But, you know, I believe the same- Let's see, I've got a clenching to something like, was that one his finals? Three of those top three's games? There was a lot of talk about him transferring to Miami. So, I'm- I'm- I'm like, all right. I think- I think we're good with what we got here. Yeah, I mean, you know, um, and- and then you look at like Louisville and- and Wake Forest, that was a good one and two last week as well. So, this will be another one of those. I- I'd probably say this is the top- one of the- the third of top three for- So, you got Clumps of Miami. You got Florida State, Virginia, and you got Louisville NC State. I think these are the top three to watch. So, if you're- if you're a big ACC fan, which you obviously are for listening, I think these are the ones you got a circle. You got to take a big interest in.

If Keen holds his in play, like you said, it's really- to me, I- I'd lean NC State because it's kind of like with the Clemson game. For me, the way I- the way I pick games is by the quarterback first and then everything else falls from there. So, uh, I- I would probably lean based on who has that, but you might have to wait to the very start of the game on Calche to pick because we won't know if it's a game time decision. Absolutely. Uh, also, night, great plug for Calche, one of our awesome sponsors there. And huge thank you to everybody who made the squad, your first listen and your first watch.
