What is going on guys? Thank you so very much for joining us right here on off the script. This is your AW Dynamite post show for September 30th, 2000 and 26. I'm your host JD from New York. As always coming to you live tonight from the OTS venue. Thank you guys very much for joining us on this Wednesday evening, wherever you may be joined by my very, very, very, very, very good friend and co-host on Wednesday nights. Jesse, the shot town smart. What's going on brother? Greetings brother. How you feel man? I feel like everybody else man said, said my eyes are heavy, cried on four different occasions tonight and just feeling somber man. Yeah, not me man. I didn't cry but I did have to get up and leave my stream a couple of times for some stuff that happened in the house. I had to go take care of all of the camera. I was that right. What was that man?

Look, this personal stuff that happened. I had to leave and take care of some personal stuff off camera. Then I came back and I was ready to go. It took me two or three times. Oh, okay. Okay. I was okay. You got cats. I don't know about man. That's that's usually what I do. I had to go cut some onions. I was making tacos. All right. Listen, that's that lesson. That's a believable excuse coming from you. Okay. I had to go cut some onions. Other than cutting some onions in the kitchen on the side, I was okay. All right. No onions in my tacos, please. I don't like onions that are fried. Not my thing. Oh fresh, fresh onion man. Crispy onions. Fried onions. Sagi onions. Not my thing man. No, not fresh. Just try it. Okay. Okay. All right. Well, fresh. No onions. No peppers. I'm a weirdo. Yeah, man. This is the first time that you and I are getting together here to discuss what happened on Sunday night. I know I've been talking about this all over the place. I had my video go up on Monday. I talked about this with coach on Tuesday. We did the final

segment on the two count dedicated to pack. Jason and I went into almost 20 minutes of pack last night on TNT. I was on the count Sunday. I got back from Chicago, seeing you and doing hog on Friday, got back on Saturday. I was exhausted. I was like lagging behind Sunday. I'm just trying to find a little bit of respite in the day. I turn on Netflix. I get a text from my good friend Keith and the Bronx. He texts me, pack is dead. I'm like, excuse me. What? Like you're trolling me. What did I talk about? We just watched him. We just watched him wrestle 24 hours ago. Then I got a Twitter. That's where we get all our news nowadays. It's staring me in the face. Everybody else that opened that app at that time, AW suite. That's pack is no longer with us.

And they gave a full written statement on social media and bra. I looked at that suite for a good fucking 10 minutes, hoping that it was like AW was hacked. What am I really? I mean, is this a Trizapal fool's fucking in September? What's going on? I thought they got hacked. And then I start scrolling. And I'm trying to find out if other people talking about this, hoping that it's not real. And then we start to see the flood of stuff come on in. And I'm like, oh my God. Nobody had it, but Tony Khan at first. Nobody. He was the only one to report it. So there was nowhere else to verify. Everybody was getting everybody reported his death based on AEW's tweet. There was no other information. Yeah. And then we found out earlier in the week, come Monday. I know TMZ broke it. I know the New York Post broke it. Brown 408 PM outside of a Kava Mediterranean restaurant in the area of O'Hare International Airport.

He was found slumped over over in his rental car. I'm assuming that he was probably getting ready to board a flight. I don't know if he was going to Andy Williams funeral, which was also the same day. Or he was headed to the next town that AW was going to be performing. And I don't know. Nobody knows. But he was found alone in his car slumped over around 408 PM on Sunday morning. And I don't know, man, I know you and I were in the air going to Wembley for the first all in over in London. And it was the same feeling that we got when we both got word at the same time that right why it had passed away. And it was just we legitimately sat there and shocked with like this fucking cold goose bumpy chill just coming over us. Man, I had goosebumps. My whole body got chilled when I read that fucking tweet from A. Delby Man, this is a lot of the times we look at this and I

you know, I look at the age first and foremost 40 years old, bro. I'm 44. You're a little bit older than I am. And it just really puts everything into perspective about where we are in life, you know, and where we are age wise. Like I can't even I can't even put a rational thought together. I mean, it's it's fucking scary. But what was what was your reaction? I don't know for me talking. What was your reaction about all this? Because I know I texted you and I sent you the tweet. What was your initial reactions? Everything. I guess. Yeah, I was I was it was in my living room. I was hanging out with my kids. And I was laying on the couch. I was just I was relaxing and I get your text. And it completely took me off guard. And my initial reaction was what the hell happened up to me like clearly there was no health concern because we just

watched him work the night before. I mean, we just watched him work. So it's like, well, what the hell happened? I know he was here and you know, and my side of town. So I'm like, what what happened to the guy? So I like you, I went to social media to follow up and try to find I was going on. I got no answers. He was just he was gone. And I'm I just started shaking and I'm trying to figure out like what the hell happened. So I'm looking. I'm looking. Nobody knew anything. And to be honest, the details are still, you know, unclear. The one thing that we found out is that he was found and then witnesses say that people rushed into the restaurant to get in an an an AED kit of the Fibulator. So which tells me there was there was no apparent trauma. There was no blood. There was no, well, clearly, you know, it's this. It was a get a defibrillator

to try to revive him. So there was no apparent sign of trauma. And that's all we know. The displaying police department didn't release any more info than something like that. The 911 audio did release, but it didn't really release any new information. And we were just left with the fact that he was gone and no one knew why. So we were left with the sadness, the trauma, the confusion, you know, then all those kinds of misunderstandings and and misinformation started flying around and just started getting worse. Whenever anything happens and there's no answer to it, then everybody runs to the conspiracy theories. That's just the way things work these days for some reason or another that didn't help to, you know, make anyone feel better about all of this. And I'm like you, I'm just sitting around waiting for answers, looking for answers, trying to find out what the hell happened. And

it just it just hurts, man. This is it's not a good time for not just resting fans, but AEDW in particular, man, they are seriously going through it. There are far too many tribute shows going on and they don't they don't get any better, man. They hurt just as bad each and every last single time. Yeah, this one, this one was definitely up there as far as the more more sad tribute shows. But at the same time, it was probably one of the most, if not the most beautiful tribute show that I think I've watched, maybe ever. And I know you and I, we're on here every single Wednesday, we've been doing this since episode one of Dynamite. And we have been two voices that have been critical the overall product and some of its performers. And we mean well when we criticize, we always have, whether you believe it or not, we always mean well. We want the product to be great, we want the

company to be number one, legitimately. And I'm watching this. And like you said, Tony Khan and that locker room have gone through way too many tribute shows. I mean, it was just just a few weeks ago where we were doing this frandy Williams. And then we had Rebel Heart with tonight Brooks. And the tribute show for Rebel, which was emotional in its own right. And now we got to go through this. I don't, I don't know how that locker room is is is able to hold up like this is this is pain that I can't even fathom a human being having to go through not, not not just once, but three fucking times on three different occasions. Book a love by guest property with Virbo and you get a top rated vacation rental. That's love for all the right reasons. Oh, I love my Virbo for the location. Good reason. Oh, and for the pool because pools are cool. I feel the love book of Virbo. That's love by guests. If you know, you Virbo. Brody Lee Brody Lee. I mean,

that was unexpected to that came in. I don't know where I was in Atlantic City when Jesse texted me about that Brody passed away. I was like, I was in the middle of a fucking dinner. I'm like, what? Yep. I don't know where. Like these, these, these performers are so impactful to us as fans. Like, I remember like it was yesterday where I was who I was with and what I was eating when Brody passed away. And this guy texted me. But I wouldn't I wouldn't wish this pain on on my most fucking hated enemy. I don't know how that locker room is going through what they're going through and was able to go out there and put a smile on everybody's face, put a smile on their own face, knowing that all they want to do is sit in the locker room and just fucking cry. Like, I don't know how they were able to do that. Like, I wish I could bring myself to do that and fight through that pain. Tony Khan has shown everybody how no matter what the wrestling is and no matter what we say about the show on a weekly basis, he's showing everybody how great of human being he is. He's showing everybody how much he cares about everybody. He puts on that

television program and when stuff like this happens, man, he goes above and beyond to shower and pay respects to someone like pack and Brody and Andy and today it brooks the respect that he shows them, bro, is bar none better and bigger than anything I've ever seen anyone else do for anybody that works for somebody. Like it is, it is tremendous, tremendous. Jay brisco. Jay brisco is another one. I never had the, I never had the, the, the, the, you know, the time to ever introduce myself to pack or even get a chance to meet pack or call and match for pack. But the one thing, Jess, I don't know if you, if you kind of saw it yourself, everybody on social media, I don't know how much browsing on social media you did. I mean, that legitimately everybody in the industry, everybody, you name it, they said something about, about pack, they never called him pack. It was always Ben or Benjamin. Ben. And I, and I said this to Jason last night on TNT, the amount of people

that he's influenced and the amount of lives, hearts and souls that he has touched as a human being. I mean, I look at that and I'm like, and this may sound more, but you know, I look at when my last days may be and what I'm going to look like at that point in my life and who around me still going to be around. And I'm like, I wish I had one one hundredth of the people that pack touched, you know, in my life that I could, that I could say the same thing about or they could say the same thing about me. I mean, it's, it's a rarity. And it goes to show you how everybody spoke so highly of him, how great of a human being he was. Everybody called him Ben. It wasn't even pack. And he hated, he hated when people from the things I already eat, just like he brushed it off, like people telling him I'm ready was everybody's like, oh, you're fucking unbelievable. You're great, you're the best wrestler ever. He's like, I'm I'm alright. It's like, you know, it's, it's,

it's fucking sad, man. I, I don't know. Drew McIntyre just released it. I know. I saw, I didn't watch it. I bookmarked it to watch it later. I watched it, man. It's, it's rough. It's rough. Yeah, ballers, tweets were rough. I mean, it was just pictures of him and, and, and pack with, with his family, you know, look like it almost, it almost felt like they, I'm sure they were brothers, you know, they, they weren't there. That blood brothers, but they were brothers. I mean, they were, their families knew each other's families, you know. Yeah. This guy, this guy was close to a lot of the people that we watched today in, I just, I just realized that he was in, he was in NXT at the same time as Mercedes. Yeah. And Bailey was. So, otherwise they were doing their thing. He was right there in NXT with them. That whole, you know, eight, all-star, you know, class that came out of NXT. He was a part of it. Yeah. And then it's everybody, everybody fucking love this guy, man. I have never in my life heard a single negative thing about pack. And you hear a lot of rumors and, you know, things like this here

and there about some people. Not everybody's, it's like that. But quite a few are. And he is one of them. I mean, everybody has ever had an encounter with him as only spoken highly of him. You know, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's all putting it, it's, it's surreal. I'm like you, I'm like, I'm, I'm 49. And the watch somebody, you know, go at the age of 40, it makes you look, look at yourself in the mirror. Like if, if, if a good man like that can go at 40, you know, what the fuck is going to happen to me? You know, it's the same fucking thing. I, I think the same thing every time. And it's, you never know, go hug your loved ones. That I, personally, I spent some extra time with my kids since I heard about, I was spending time with my kids when I heard about it. So I mean, it's, tomorrow is not promised, man. It is, it is really not. So don't take it for granted. Yeah. And we've been hearing that a lot, you know, and I, and I,

you know, I'm at fault for not being, you know, one that is a good communicator, you know, I'll, I'll let days, weeks, months go by and I won't, I won't check in on, on my people or, you know, I take it for granted. Like, you know, I'll just, I'll talk to them when I talk to them and, you know, what, when I, when I meet them or hang out with them, it'll just be like the good old times. You know, I, I suck a communication, you know, I should, I should text, I should text Jesse more often. I, I don't, I get, we all get lost in, in our own, in our own space, you know, in our own day to day. And I suck at that, man, I, I, I, I personally have to do better at that. And seeing this, this happened this week to him and him being gone now at 40, it just really kind of amplifies how we all need to do a better job at that. And it really fucks with me personally, mentally, because, you know, the last couple of years, I had, I had to bury my, my aunt Teresa

and my grandma and my aunt Teresa was, was worse than my grandma. My, my grandma was 96. So we, we knew, but my, my aunt Teresa was, when she was diagnosed with dementia, she, she lived with dementia for, for 10 years. And she passed at 75. Imagine getting dementia at 65, you know, and when we went to the wake and we went to the funeral, bra, I mean, that had to be at least 100, a fucking 150 people there at the wake and, and probably even double that at the funeral when we went to St. Benedict Church in the Bronx. And I'm like, my fucking aunt Teresa touched all these, all these souls and all these, all these lives. It's like, look, look at how important of a figure she was to, to not only the family, but the community. And I go to St. Raymond's cemetery in the Bronx and we are raising her up into the crypt, you know, my, my uncle John is still alive and well. And there's a double plot there for when he goes, he's going to go right in next to her. And I, and I looked at my cousins and I start crying and I'm like, is this, is this what fucking life is?

Is this it? You just, and I'm, I'm starting to cry because I'm thinking about, I'm thinking about that. Is that all that life is, you know, and then to see him go at 40? Is that all that life is? I don't know man, it's just, it's fucking sucks. It's not fair. It's always the good people, you know, he didn't deserve to go at 40. Brighton deserve to go. He was younger. Brody, Brody didn't deserve to go either. None of them deserve to go. No. Jay brisco, I don't know where Jay brisco was coming on from. I think he was like at a game or a, or a, or a, a dance recital for his daughter and his daughter or something like that. Yep. Yep. I who gets to decide that that's your time there? Like,

the guy was doing the one thing in this life that was most important to him and then fucking gone. You know, it's fucking terrible. I don't know who, I don't know who you guys all believe in or pray to or whoever it may be, but I do, I do feel like God has a plan and a time for all of us, but we're not, we're not here to understand it. We're not here, we're not supposed to understand it. It's not our job to understand it. It is as our job to grieve and, and move on and enjoy the rest of the life that we have left and just don't take it for granted, man. Because again, I'm quite positive if, if, if Pact knew, if Benjamin knew his time was coming, he would probably have wanted to spend it with his family or do some other thing. I mean, I'm pretty sure he would have wanted to be around loved ones and not alone in his car at a

restaurant near Chicago, you know, so it's, when it was this time, it was this time and when God calls you up, who will we question it, you know, I mean, we just have to deal with it, man. It hurts. It will never not hurt. It should hurt, man. Yeah, he was, you know, obviously none of us knew him, but we knew of him as Pact and how talented of a human being he was. I didn't really know of his work prior to NXT and I'm going to do my due diligence and try and track down some stuff with him in Dragon Gate and him in Rev Pro, which I read were just as good if not some of the best things that he's ever done. So I found out about him when he first started NXT and I used to watch NXT weekly when it was one hour on the WWE network and it was a big, it was a big pandemic thing for

me and Jesse because Jesse and I would watch with text back and forth and then I was one of the only few people in the community that would actually record my thoughts in in a review for YouTube. And then during the pandemic, I started going live because it was the thing to do then everybody was going to live. Everybody was streaming wrestling and everybody was at home and there nothing else better to do. I mean, everybody I watch was was streaming Call of Duty War zone. I mean, everybody was just stuck in the house. So we just put ourselves on the internet and you know, before, before NXT really hit it big with black and gold, Pact was the guy there in 2014 that really kind of set the tone for what Jesse and I watched together and really fell in love with which was the black and gold era of NXT, like that 2017, 2018, 2019 version of NXT. The reason why that version of NXT is so fondly remembered and the reason why that NXT version is so beloved is

because of guys like Pact. He was the one that set the tone. Him, Bodalis, Hilobri, Tyson Kid, Sammy Zayn, you know, then you have your Mercedes and your Beckys and your charlots. You know, obviously a lot of different people came from that era, but those names with the core names, bro, he set the tone for what NXT turned into. Like he was, he was the beacon of change that at that time, the company needed and that was the direction, Pact and his style and his influence to me anyway. Maybe you guys agree, maybe you don't agree with it, but his vision, hit the way he wrestled is what I always thought WWE needed to evolve into. And what he did down there was so influential that I don't really even think people give it enough credit. Like some people, you know, a lot of people kind of hone in on the black and gold. A lot of people claim that the 2014, 2015 version of NXT is probably just as good if not better with Pact at the home.

So I know you were there from the from the very beginning. What did you think of his work down there? What did you make of that? I thought he was extremely, extremely unique, you know. And that's one of the hardest things to do in pro wrestling is to stand out and be unique. His style of work was so unique because he could be a baby face or a heel and he would not change his style in the ring. You know, a lot of the times baby faces have the high flyer style. And then when they go heel, they change away from it. He didn't do that. He would go heel and instead, you know, instead of the red arrow is the black arrow now, you know. And he did his move and it looked just more heelish somehow some way. He was so unique. His body type, he was small, but he was so tough and he was a high flyer and he could grapple.

And that's what drew me to him because he did not have one style. He worked the style that he needed to work for whatever field he was in. And it was just amazing, man. And I, I think back to those NXT days, he's a part of it. You know, when I have those memories, I think of Sasha, I think of Bailey. You know, I think of Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and I think of Neville. You know, that is just a part. He will always be a part. First off, NXT, that original version of NXT will always have a special spot in my heart just for A, the wrestlers it produced and B, the feeling that it used to give, especially at a time when WWE was not giving me that wrestling feeling NXT was. So when I think back to those days and how much I enjoyed him, he will be one of the core names that will stick out as someone who was

part of the reason why NXT hit home for me. I will never forget him, man. I will absolutely never forget him and I will make sure that I show my kids as they grow up. And if they want to watch wrestling and be wrestling fans, I'll make sure that they are well aware of what he brought to the ring when he was coming up in this industry. Yeah, he was certainly magic. His style was never duplicated by anybody. And we see nowadays a lot of guys on that smaller, on that smaller stature getting into a WWE or an AW. And nobody today ever, ever really wrestled or flew like Pac. Everything he did was crisp. Everything he did was almost like a surgeon. He was so surgical. He was so strategic. He was so just on point with everything. He remembers maybe a fucking silly, a silly analogy, but he's another one of

those guys that he reminds me of like what Bret Hart used to be. Like Bret Hart was a fucking perfectionist. Pac was a perfectionist. He reminds me of like, and I'm a brave fan. He reminded me of Greg Maddox. I always thought Greg Maddox was like the fucking geeky scientist who would always need to go out there and be picture perfect with everything. And he's like the Greg Maddox of pro wrestlers. He reminds me of Pete Weber, the bowler. I love Pete Weber. I love watching Pete Weber Bully. He was like a fucking surgeon out there. He was so, so perfect in everything he did. And there was never anybody that had anything even remotely close to him offensively. And the black arrow, the red arrow, it's going to go into the aisles of pro wrestling history is one of the flashiest, prettiest and most picture perfect finishes that you could possibly ever see from anybody. People can't do this shit. No, I mean, I, I sprayed that a fucking great one tonight, but I will always pray. Well, well, well, I'll spray tremendous. Just be well, I sprayed it and you

can do it. Yeah. Yeah. But you know, he went to the main roster. King of the cruiser weights was fucking great stuff. Vince never really appreciated him. Vince never pre and that's that's what, you know, you look at that arrow of WWE and how fucking vial and evil it was. Like how do you look at somebody like Pat doing that with his attitude and the way carries himself and then the way he produces his stuff in the ring. How do you look at that and then not want to get behind someone like that? How do you look at that and not get excited about about that having that guy on your roster, having that guy at the helm in that ring, producing matches like he was producing. He was never appreciated. You know, they put it, yeah, they put a fucking cape on him. They wanted to make him into a mighty mouse superhero character like because he Vince thought he looked like a mouse with the big ears and you know, like why? Why, why ridicule somebody for the way that they look and not appreciate them for the talent that they're bringing you? They're obviously there for a reason. And then you disregard them as nothing. The King of the Cruiser weights is something that really

got over and you saw that kind of evolved and morph into where we saw him on Saturday in the ring with on droughty. He took the King of the Cruiser weights gimmick and then went back the dragon gate after left WWE and then went to AEW. So what you watch was an evolutionary character of the King of the Cruiser weights, but he wasn't a cruiser weight. He was fucking pack and he wrestled the biggest in the best. He didn't need to be a cruiser weight. You're just putting him in a bubble at that point. He was not a cruiser weight. He was a fucking professional wrestler at the highest level. Nobody man, there's not going to be anybody like him ever. And you know, we consider and talk about his career retrospective all night and go over his matches. I mean, the match with Sammy at our evolution takeover back in 2014. His stuff with Rich Swan and and and allee and Cedric on 205 live. I mean, the matches he had with AEW. You and I were in the building for that match with Orange Cassidy. That was fucking tremendous. The army match with county omega that went 31 minutes tremendous. His

matches with with with Penta and Phoenix and the Death triangle. You and I love the Death triangle. That was the best trio in AEW history is the Death triangle. Man, those are the days man. They had a fucking kick ass and for this man spotlight on one spotlight on one of them. Penta right in the middle, you know, Jesus man. It sucks. It all sucks. Man, it's it. It hurts. I mean, you think it's only thinking you're healing from all of this shit and then something else. Something else. We just dealt with rebel. Yeah. And then we get Andy Williams. Now here we are again. Well, whatever we get into tonight, we're going to go over this show tonight. We won't keep you guys here too long. This was a show not about story. It was about paying respects to one of this generation's greatest in-ring performers and that is pack. And we're going to go over that.

Again, probably the most beautiful tribute show that I've ever seen. I think from top to bottom, if you are watching the show for what it was, this will rank. This has to rank up as far as diamond episodes easily top five of all time. Easily from top to bottom. This was an absolutely perfect show. They did everything so incredibly right. I can't I can't even express that verbally. Everything from top to bottom, they did everything right. They booked the right matches. They put the right people on this show that they had the beautiful tributes from some of the people in the locker room. Now that incredible video package at the end of the show that made me fog and just break down and cry. The elite got back together. Brian Danielson was on the show, not once but twice in the ring with Moxley and then wrestling in the main event. So we're going to go over all that stuff tonight guys. I want to thank you for joining us here on off the script. This is your dynamite

post show tribute to pack here. Easha's in the house. Not the isa. Yes. Issa also went live tonight for watch along. I know there was a lot of contention in the community. I know my guy, they dial a put something out today urging and putting it out there that us streamers should take the night off. It's about the performers and it's about paying respects to pack. I very much vehemilily disagree with that. Jesse and I have been here since day one. Nobody's going to tell us when and where to take the night off number one. If Jesse wanted the night off, he's his own man. He could take the night off, but he's here with you guys. I have to do in a two and a half hour screen because he loves this show. He loves this community. He loves doing the show here on Wednesday. I don't agree with that. He isa was live and she said the same thing that I said, like a lot of people grieving right now and a lot of people are upset and sad and depressed about what had happened

in this past week. Instead of moping alone and sitting alone, which is perfectly fine because that's exactly probably what I would be doing in this case if someone I knew lost their life. But I'm here with you guys because you make me feel better. I'm hoping that Jesse's presence and my presence makes you feel better. It gives you guys an outlet to talk about the show and what you loved about pack and packs favorite matches and you get to mingle with some familiar faces and names in the live stream shot. I didn't agree with that whatsoever. I mean, I loved Drew, but I don't think someone in that position should be telling anybody when and where to take the night off people grieving their own way. And this is the way we handle it. I said, I literally said the exact same thing. It was it was either, I mean, we talked about it not, you know, I kicked it around and I thought about taking the night off. But if I had not gone live and had I not been here, then I would just be sitting somewhere in a dark room with a drink, watching this show and

cutting more onions for tacos by myself. So instead, I decided to go live because not only will it help me to be around like-minded people to grieve together, but I need to understand and realize there are plenty of people out there who turn to their favorite streamers so that they can have someone to grieve with because not a lot of people and I notice because, I mean, a lot of people in my chat said the same thing. I don't know anybody in real life that watches pro wrestling anywhere near as much as I do. So to go to them and say, hey, you know, pack that, you know, their responses, oh, really? Oh, shit, that sucks. Yeah. What'll be doing tonight? What time is the game? You know, I mean, no, I'm not feeling that shit, bro. This man fucking died and I give a shit about him. So instead, I get to come here and there are people who tune in to watch me who they have the same

feeling. They have no one else to turn to and they would like to turn to their favorite streamer. So I almost feel like it would be a little bit irresponsible to not be there for people. If I'm up to it, when I feel like they might need me as much as I need them. So that's also why I'm here right now because we talked about it before this stream. If we want to do it, I'm like, you know what? But people are going to tune in and people actually give a shit a what we think about it and be. It gives them an outlet to not just us. They get to sit here. I'm looking at people in the chat, conversing with each other, consoling each other. And it's a beautiful thing. This chat would not be here. Had this man not hit this live button. So that's why we are here. So we can go through this together and try to get by this. So then this time next week, hopefully we're in a better position to move on with the show because literally, I'm of the belief that that's exactly what Ben would want. Yeah. And that's exactly what he would have wanted out of everybody that competed tonight for sure.

Jesse and I have been here since Brody Lee. We went live after Brody, which was one of the greatest tribute shows of all time. We were live here after Bray, or I was anyway, when Bray passed away and that following Smackdown, we were here for Hulk. So all the tributes for Hogan go to our bed. We were here. And he's the biggest name in the history of the sport. You know, this shit happens. And this is going to be expected. And I am a pro wrestling content creator as is Jesse and and isa. We can't avoid something like death because it's going to happen inevitably. And it's news. And for the same exact reasons that I just mentioned before and like Jesse beautifully put, like, this is the reason why we're here. And we're always going to be here in these types of moments because this is a moment that brings everybody together. And this is like real life shit. Like, you know, so many people tell me JD puts on a character and JD's fake and

this and that and Jesse is a yes man. He's a shale on all this shit at every single week we hear it. Like you got the real fucking two guys here that would be out in Chicago after a house of glory show drinking whiskey. This is us. That's what you're going to get tonight. I'm not playing a fucking character. And do I aunt myself up? Sure. Like, we want to be real to you guys. We love this shit. Like, this is the wrestling is our life. I don't have anybody in my life outside of maybe three people that I share pro wrestling with and Jesse and Jason to two of them. That's that's it. Like, we love this shit. I want to share my excitement. I want to share my sadness. I want to share everything that comes with being a pro wrestling fan with you guys. Otherwise, what the fuck am I doing here? So it hurts. And it's supposed to hurt. We just recently spoke about this. I think it was like last week that the thing that these wrestlers need to do to get over is to make people care about them. Not just do body slams and suplexes. Anybody can do that. But you have to make

us care about you because if they care about you, then they want to see you being programs, being matches and being fused. But this is the downside to that because when you care enough about these people, then when they pass away, it fucking hurts, man. It fucking it, it fucking hurts. Will it hurt like your mom or dead passing away? No, no, probably not. But will it hurt just as much as as a friend passing away? Yeah, it kind of does. It kind of does because you can't turn on and off when you care about somebody. Oh, I care about them in the ring and on TV, but in real life, I stop caring. They passed away. I don't care. No, you, it is natural. It's like it's like your next door neighbor passing away. I don't know. I mean, I know my neighbors, but I'm about, you know, over there, how shrinking, fine, one and drinking short, eating short, food or I'm not doing that. You know, I know of them, but we welcome back into our home for 12

years. Like why wouldn't we want to talk about his career and how influential he was and how great he was and what he did as far as his work? Why wouldn't we want to talk about that? Why wouldn't we want to celebrate that? We're always going to want to celebrate that. Anyway, we're going to get into the show tonight. Thank you guys very much for joining us. If you want to support what we do here, you guys know how to do that. Please hit that thumbs up. Leave a comment down below. Let us know what you thought of tonight's show. Let us know what you thought of pack favorite match and favorite moment. Comment section down below. Hit that thumbs up. Let's try 4,000 likes. I think we can hit it tonight. So if you guys are in the chat, thousand likes is the goal. Make sure you please good check out all the content on both of our channels. You guys know where to find that. Jesse is on YouTube at ShytownSmart. Also on X at ShytownSmart. My Patreon people will be getting to you this week. It's been a long week. It's been a very tiresome week. Hopefully you guys understand as is Jesse's Patreon. He'll be over there later this week as well.

We'll be doing some more lucha underground for you guys as well with the watch along. That's patreon.com slash ShytownSmart. So make sure you guys keep an eye on an ear out for that. And we'll be doing something on my end for NXT and Maple Leaf Pro as well. We'll get into that. But we're going to start things off here on this tribute to Pac first of all. I got to say shout out to Sal Rex. My guy Sal Rex. He made this beautiful layout for us tonight. Just on his own. I didn't ask him to do it. He texted me. He's like, bro, I got this. And it's beautifully done. So I want to shout Sal Rex out. One of the best guys I know. And he just does it because he wants to. He does it because he cares about the channel cares about the growth of the channel. And he's just a good dude. So I want to say, thank you brother. Love you. And thank you for all the work that you've done to make this channel look and sound as good as it does. So we start things off Jesse with John Moxley. And this was a pre tape right after he lost to Will Osprey at all out. And

this was a little eerie in my opinion. Did you get an eerie vibe from this with the words that he was saying and just the whole vibe of this? What was your initial thought after this promo was over? 100% very eerie. The way that Pac was the last one in the frame to walk off to those it was very eerie man. And to be fair and all fairness, most of Moxley's promo is like kind of eerie. Yeah. But this one kind of hits a real because he started talking about death and everything like that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So he said the last this was the last time that Pac or Tony Chivani was last time Pac was seen on camera. Moxley at Osprey was better than him at all out. He said he gave him everything he had, gave him every shot he had and had no regrets. Will Osprey is indomitable. He said, you are going to lose in life sometimes. You got to know how to lose. He says you'll lose in wrestling. This is where I got a little eerie. He says you'll lose

people and you'll lose opportunities. You won't always receive what you've earned or what you deserve. What are you going to do? You have to have a smile on your face. Get up and do it again. He said every single day is a gift. He talked about the rush of stepping out in front of a life crowd around the world, no matter where it was. He was sitting against a wall with the death rotters kind of in frame, but not really. You can't see their faces. It's just focused on John Moxley. Then a clip out of Osprey celebrating as he continued to talk. He said, all Osprey has done is earned more hard work. He says there are different kinds of eulogies. Again, eerie. You're mentioning eulogies and you're mentioning life. You know, every day is a is a gift. I'm like, these are these are very eerie words to be using it in light of what happened on Sunday. This is what this guy did and who this guy was. He says he knows what eulogy he wants. He says he doesn't think enough people see what they have and what this place can be.

What we've been gifted, what's at stake? The future of professional wrestling or craft, what we grew up dreaming of doing to the future of pro wrestling will be what we make it. He stood up camera-lingored on Marina Wheeler, Danny Garcia and pack was the last face in the camera before he walked off with the rest of the death rotters. Very, very eerie with some of the the language he used here. I know I'm not the only one thinking that shot. It was. It you know, isolated. It might come off in like just a normal, you know, a moxley promo and essentially it was because he didn't know. You know, we were going to be looking at 24 hours later, but the words just they just hit. It looks like it was something they were going to air tonight anyway, but now it just had even more meaning than they intended. So they went on ahead and aired it and I don't know. It's fucking the same man. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it was it was a great, it was a great

promo and something that like Jesse said, we would have expected that out of Jon Moxley anyway. Before that promo aired, X caliber was front and center all by himself. Taz was not there. Tony Chavani was in the ring. There was a wreath and a picture of pack, beautiful picture of pack in the ring. X caliber opened the show solo on commentary, describing pack as a devoted husband, son and a friend. Your favorite wrestlers, favorite wrestler and he closed with opening remarks with a line from Jordy, folks on called Bladon races, a nod to a pack's new castle roots. So then after the Jon Moxley promo, we go back to live and we get a 10 bell salute. The whole roster came out that was there for dynamite and they gave a 10 bell salute to Benjamin Saturday. And the death rot is music then hits. Spotlight went right over

packs vacant share. Every time pack made his way to the ring, he used to sit in a foldable chair with a towel around his neck. And there was a spotlight on the chair and nobody was sitting in the chair. That that that's the first time anything got me on the show. I'm like, fuck, you look at the fucking chair, you know, remind again, remind me of Bray with the with the vacant rocking chair when he passed away. Yep. Oh crap. Yeah. You know, after that fucking rocking chair went everywhere with that with that group. And in the weeks following Bray's passing, reminded me of that. So Jon Moxley walked out, you know, I felt bad for Moxley, Moxley, he's such a tough fucking guy. And I'm watching him just so meticulously. He looked like, bro, he held back everything in his soul to not show any emotion tonight. I know, I don't think I've ever seen Jon Moxley cry live on air in anything. Whether it was a good match or fucking emotional moment, nothing, even tonight, which we'll get into the guy,

I got to give him credit. He did something that many people would have crumbled on there. So he came out, he showed no emotion whatsoever. He did his best to hide it. And we got orange Cassidy. Orange Cassidy, man, he was, he was another one, man, I started tearing up when I see an orange overly emotional was on his Cassidy. He was, it looked like he just got done crying before he came through the curtain. This was for the continental championship. But when 18 minutes, he was visibly fighting tears, handed a sunglasses to the referee and wore a black pack arm band as did everybody tonight. This was a homage to pack an orange Cassidy's match back at, what was it? It was all out 2020. And they did this justice. I love this. This was a great match. And I'm like, man, that's a fucking great opening match. You got John Moxley, who obviously work with pack in the death, right? And he got orange Cassidy, which a lot of people are saying is

one of packs greatest rivals in all of eight W. So this match was very thoughtfully curated by Tony Khan. So we got a lock up. We got a couple arm drag exchange. You see it to open Moxley through a shop. And then we get a series of near falls leads to stalemate leads to a test of strength by both guys. Moxley was in control, he spun orange Cassidy into a choke. Cassidy scrambled to the ropes to break it shoulder block exchange and Cassidy outside into the commentary desk. We go into a commercial break. Moxley was content to let get the count out. He wanted to retain the championship. But Cassidy kept rolling back into beat it. And then he eats a stolen pile driver that got the crowd excited here. Cassidy starts firing back. He slammed Moxley said into the turnbuckle 10 times. Moxley came back with the drop kick off the apron. Cassidy rolled to the other side of the ring. And he kept doing this over and over and over again. And this was a direct call back to his revolution. It was revolution. I'm sorry, not all that revolution, 2020 was a callback to his

revolution, 2020 match with pack. Before finally rolling back into a big pop hitting a topey and a top rope dive for a two count. Moxley starts mocking Cassidy by rolling to the opposite corner himself. And both missed finisher attempts, orange punch and paradigm shift. Moxley connected with a cutter and both guys are down for the count forearm and kick battle followed. We have orange Cassidy throwing his devastating kicks as usual. And Moxley is just blasting him with forearms and then all of a sudden they really start throwing bombs at each other. Cassidy has a drop kick two orange punches a cause of door roll up. He gets it to stun dog millionaire. Moxley no sold it. Cassidy escaped the choke that Moxley put on him into a crucifix pin. Moxley rolled out of a beach break into a PK punch kick from Cassidy. Cassidy didn't toss the elbow pad for the big orange punch. Moxley caught him off with packs own running start. Larry it. Cassidy kicked out Moxley locked in the

brutalizer packs finisher. Huge reaction for that. Cassidy escaped into a pin attempt and put the brutalizer on Moxley who fought into a curb stop. Moxley finished off Cassidy with the death rider for the win. So that was that great match. It went 17 minutes paying all my to the revolution 2020 match with pack and orange Cassidy and then Brian Danielson's music hit. Now John Moxley is emotional in the ring. He's trying to fight back tears and he's wiping his face. Brian came out. He walked out wearing a pack t-shirt. He's crying. He gets in the ring. Fans are yes chanting him. He gets in the ring. Moxley doesn't know what to make of it because they have a history. And as you guys know Moxley suffocated Brian Danielson a couple of years ago and really got this death rider thing often running. But they meet in the middle of the ring, Jesse, and they hug in the middle of the ring. And I just thought crying at this point because I, I didn't expect Brian to be there. I didn't expect him to be in the ring with Moxley.

I didn't expect Moxley to kind of let his guard down here and show a little bit of weakness in hug Brian Danielson. But then I, I posted on Twitter. I'm like, we all get into arguments. We all get into back and forth. A lot of it negative in the wrestling community and seeing these two guys history on a W television. It was almost like a picture, perfect summary of what life truly should be about. We all get into arguments. We all get into fights. But at the end of the day, we should all just respect each other and we should all just love each other. And that's exactly what was showcased here with these two guys. It was, you know, you, you very rarely, if at all, ever see John Moxley out of character. And this is probably as close as we're going to get to it with him hugging Brian like that when they're supposed to hate each other. I mean, that, I think that's as close as we're going to get to, to Moxley being out of character or so on emotion is what we saw here tonight. These guys were not just friends on TV, man. They

they traveled together. They rode together. They really were friends beyond the obvious camaraderie of all being AEW wrestlers. They've been in the same faction for a long time, man. It's meant a lot. I mean, you can see Renee tearing up when she read a Pax family letter that they wrote to the fans. Brian, these guys are all friends in real life, you know, outside of this fucking place. And he was a part of that inner circle. He's a part of that family, man. And he's just gone. They just, they were accustomed to him always being there. And now he's never going to be there again. And I, I, I so understand that feeling, especially when I lost my mom, whenever I had a question about something that I'm cooking, I could always just call my mom when I was just starting out being a parent. If I had a question

about parenting, I could always call my mom. And all those little things that I just took for granted, I could just pick up a phone and call my mom and I lost my mom. All that shit was gone. And it just did not feel right. And every time I thought about it, I was just, I mean, I would, I would just break the fuck down because I was after my mom, family members on, on that side of my family get really scarce. I mean, just like, if I call somebody to be like out of the blue and weird, but there was always my mom. Now I have my sisters. And, but they were on the same boat as me. We had my mom. It feels like I understand that feeling that they have when every time they travel to a town, a city, a, a foreign country, they can always, you know, lean on each other. And now that camaraderie is broken. He is not there anymore. And it fucking hurts more than I can explain right now. I

feel like I'm just going in a circle. I'm not making any sense, but I swear it makes sense in my head. I was like, he's just, he's just not going to be there when they expect him to be there. Even after getting this news, it's, it's happened so recently that they still probably feel like, why is he not here? He's supposed to be here. Because I know I've had that same fucking feeling when I lost my mom. Yeah. That's a man. I, I felt that same way when my grandpa passed. I felt that way when, when Bacardi passed, like, like I look, I looked in places that she would always be and she wasn't there. Like it just felt, it just felt weird. Like she passed, she passed right in, right in front of my face, right right here on the floor in my office. And I always look over there. And I, I visually still see her there. Like she's not there. Not there. Paige got me, man. Adam Paige with this, with this tribute to Pac-Man, he, he started, like he was the most emotional out of everybody. He was, he lost that he got me fucking crying. This is the

second time I started crying. He said he met Pac. First day on the job. Pac was at that press conference when he, he was announced. He was in, he was in his ring, ring gear. He's always in his ring gear. He's fucking, I never get to his ring. We, we made that a thing on the show, man. Pac would show up no matter where he'd show up to go order a fucking coffee at Starbucks. He's showing up at his ring gear. He was a full gear. Was full gear, man. He got that they named the show after Pac. So no, that is gear. Full gear. That was a, I seen a, a, a segment. I don't know where it was filmed. It might have been on being the elite Cody, Nick, Matt and Hangman and Hangman standing in his ring gear and Cody and the guys are asking, what the fuck you do to your ring gear? I'm like, I'm going to be in full gear. I gotta be ready. That's full. Yeah. He always got to be in full gear. So, uh, I remember when he showed up to that press conference, man. That's when they

were still talking about, you know, the company, but then Pac showed up with that intensity man and shit got real with, hey man right away. Yeah. Yeah. He says he was the kindest, most welcoming and humble man ever. He said he loved working with him. He said the past few months, he had gotten the closest with him and he got to tell him much how much he looked at him and admired him. He said he wished he could weigh how much he loved wrestling and the people he worked with in pro wrestling. He said he cared about everybody so much and he's going to miss him. And then he looked into the camera and said, thank you, Ben. Goodbye. And he began just breaking down into the camera. I don't know how difficult it was for these guys to like, yeah, we're going to film you now. Please say something in respects to Benjamin Satteley. Pac like, yeah, it's tough, man. You put it, put it, put it, put it, put it, put it, put it, your real human emotions out there for thousands and thousands of people watching you. It's tough. He just, he just sit them down with a camera there and just like, just talk. We'll edit it and

make it, you know, presentable with you just fucking talk and you just see what's on your mind. Yeah. That's all you got to do. Brian and Chet says, pack showed up the heaven in full gear. Yeah. I'm not surprised if that is the case. Yes. We got Kevin Knight Kyle Fletcher and Ropunki Vice. So this is the Don Callis family against the young bucks, Kenny Omega and Adam Hangman page. This was also very strategically put together. They got the Don Callis family. You got the family element there and then you got all four of these guys. I don't remember the last time all four of them teamed together. But this is the elite that together. They're a unit. They're a family. So this is what we got here on this tribute to pack. There was a terminator style to pay sequence by the elite and page to everybody on the outside. RPG Vice. This is Trimper right at Rocky Romero. They hit their strong zero finish. Matt made the save going into a

commercial break. We come back from the commercial Matt's going wild on Rocky Romero. And he ran into a Northern light suplex. But Reda tried to save Romero. He eats a Northern light suplex. Nick tagged in with the cross body head scissors, arm drag, Fletcher and Knight collided with each other, setting up a hot tag to Adam Page. He comes in the Cowboy is going wild dive sequence. Beretta and Fletcher hit slingshot dives night. He ate a fallaway slam page, kept up running shooting star by Adam Page from your fall Omega then tagged in and he got a big pop. He starts throwing snap dragons everywhere. Fletcher saved Beretta from a V trigger and spiked Omega with a Michi Noku driver. Knight flew in with a springboard larydon at matchaxen. Beretta hits a running slice spread on page RPG Vice hit a double company on Nick. He went for the strong zero finishing in but Matt and Page broke it up. Night spraying off the top rope to try to finish the match. But he ate a V trigger mid air. Page your mat hit a double super kick on

Trump. Areta and then he took a code red from Nick. And then in the end Romero eats a super kick party Omega hits you can't escape page hits his or Haramun salt and dives from the bucks off the top rope. Page Omega then hit their old tag team finish, which I love them as a tag team back in the day. Man, those were those were the days. The buck shot V trigger combo on Beretta, bucks delivered BTE trigger and Omega finished them off with a one winged angel. So Beretta, he ate all of the elite's offense every single bit of it. One, two, three. And the elite hug does a group post match and they all celebrated. I mean fun stuff here. This was also great, a great match that they put together here with the family element and pack had something to do with all these guys. So that is what happened there with the elite getting the victory. One of those awesome is everybody's coming out there pretty much out of the character for the

most part and everybody's just paying tribute to their guy. And even the fans are behind it, you know, they're forgetting K-Fabe and everything else and they're just embracing the moment. They still found time to say fuck down calories. Even even in even in death, don't call it don't call us. It's still the most hated heel in the business, bro. You got you got you got to express that. You can't catch a break there. And don't even do you didn't even do anything. He'll it. She's just out this clappable long. He's there to celebrate. Fuck don't call us. I'm grieving too. What the hell? I'm sure that's still put a little bit of a smile on his face. He loves that. Yeah. Yeah. We got tribute here from Jay White. This was emotional. I see Jay White kind of just break down. It got Scott a little sad here too. Jay White said pack never realized how much everyone thought of him. He said he watched him over and over and tried to emulate him. Said if anybody was ever

in a league of their own, it was Ben. He said he was the perfect wrestler and complete professional. He says that they all feel like they're about to show up. Or he said, I believe, let me let me rephrase this. He says that they they feel like he's he should be getting ready to show up to pack appreciation night. He said that they'll miss him and they all love him. We also got some statements here from cash Wheeler who also was visibly the shraught on camera here and he was giving his statements as well. Renee stood at ringside and thanked everyone for sharing in this celebration of packs of restatement from Ben's wife Natalie, his mom and packs dad. It said that they were completely devastated, but the love and respect they received from across the globe have helped them get through these tough days. Statement noted that Ben is his parents only child, which is very sad. It detailed Ben meeting Tony Conn and how great of

or how great the AW chapter of his life and career was. Tony Conn is a great man and the businesses all lucky tap someone like him. The statement said statement continued to express appreciation for all the stories they've heard from all those that were close to Ben. Renee got a little choked up here while reading this midway through. This was also very sad just to find that that he was the only child and that his parents no longer have him around. That's that's terrible. Swarve Prince Nana, new level, they walked out Austin Creed was crying on the way to the ring. Swarve, he tried to hold things together. Nana did not, Swarve as he drove. It was all serious here. They got in the ring and they raised up their trio's championships as pack was a trio's champion himself alongside Claudio and Wheeler Yuda. It was also alongside the death triangle. And they placed their belts side by side by side and then they draped a pack towel with his

face on it and it said our bastard on it and draped the towel Jesse over the three championship. That was a great tribute. Very, very nice. I think our creep was in NXT with pack as well. It was. It was. Yeah. So yeah. Yeah. We got a pre-taple ricochet. He said everyone thinks they have more time but you have to embrace and enjoy every moment of life. He said he and pack used to basically live together and drag and get Japan. He says they had a bunk bed and just enough room for their bags. He says they'd spend nights and days in this room and he always looked up to him and who he was and how he went about life. He says he was an inspiration. He was my big brother. This is what it feels like. Like I lost my brother. It's always the good people. The good people have great stories. Well, the people have great stories about he says there aren't many people in the industry. Anyone can get together and say nice things about with pack. Everything is about a lighthearted memory or how he inspired them.

He closed with I love you Ben. I know a lot of us are going to miss you very badly. I love you. Tony Khan booked this match tonight with pack in mind no question. We'll all spryre ricochet one on one. This is the first time that they meet. I believe since the continental classic a couple of years ago at the Hammerstein ballroom. This was actually ricochets first big match in AEW. I believe it was on an anniversary episode a couple of years ago on dynamite a couple of octobers ago. But this one 17 minutes. This was excellent. I mean, you get these two guys in the ring. It's going to be anything but excellent. So it's great to see these guys in the ring. I thought what they did here was incredibly classy. I mean, they were all hugging each other. Ricochet was hugging Bryce Rumsberg and Ricochet was hugging Will Osprey. The United Empire was

out there. Everybody was hugging everybody. So we get this match. We pick it up after the commercial break. Ricochet T's day 450 off the barricade. Land on his feet. He ran into an overhead belly to belly from Osprey into the barricade. Osprey had a handspring corkscrew kick followed by his pipip cherry. Oh combo goes for a new fall. We get a shot battle back and forth between both guys. Osprey hits a stun dog millionaire ricochet answered with a punt kick. Osprey then avoided ricochet's vertigo by escaping into a handspring DDT that spiked ricochet who sold it and folded up the way pack used to fold it a fold up and sell ricochet avoided storm breaker into a snap hurricane on a driver for two and then a tilt to war back breaker into a fiend splash off the middle rope for another near fall. Osprey tried an avalanche poison run a ricochet landed on his feet hit a snap German then a bounce back German ricochet ducted buzz saw kick bolt shredded poison run a simultaneously and both were down they both get up they trade strikes ricochet

try to cartwheel but he got caught into a blue thunder bomb for two ricochet and blocked hit and blade into a backslide driver and then into a ligar bomb ricochet goes up top he hits packs own shooting star paylay kick and nailed it perfectly followed immediately by a shooting star press for two count Osprey avoided ricochet spirit gun with a double under hook styles clash only a two count then he connected on a hidden blade and right to the back of ricochet said he goes down so instead of going for his own finish Osprey climbs the top rope and he paid homage to pack jesse with a perfectly executed black arrow for the one two three after the match Osprey broke down crying the moment turns into a group hug with everybody including Bryce remsburg involved excellent stuff here I don't really know what else to say I mean we got two homage is to pack actually a couple of we got the bounce back German that pack used to do we got the paylay kick

shooting star paylay kick which ricochet did that's pack and then we got the shooting star press which obviously is pack so a lot of a lot of homage to pop in this match it's it's awesome to see you know it's very reminiscent of what we've just lost you know and um we get to see how much this man met to this locker room and this promotion man and um man I'm just I'm just running out of fucking shit to say man I don't I don't even know I don't I don't even know man I think I think they did a great job in the ring at trying to suppress their feelings yeah to put on a show um I think that's important man I think you can easily lose focus on what you're supposed to be doing and could potentially hurt yourself because

you're not in the right state of mind because your mind is elsewhere so um the fact that they were able to lock in and and and knock out these short matches I think is uh I think it says a lot to their so their professionalism to be honest man. I was president talented motherfucker man he hit that as perfect as anybody could hit it I didn't think he was going to hit it perfectly but he did excellent yeah it's great stuff there. I was speaking of osprey there was a pre taped segment backstage that area with osprey sitting in the locker room talking about packs back back your wrestling days uh he said watching those matches as a younger teenager meant so much to him when he envisioned taking the same road as packed it he said his style would influence so many people he said earlier in his career he chased a match or pack and it was what he wanted more than anything he said he was the loveliest person he'll miss talking to him and learning from him every single day he thanked him for everything he's done for him and for so many others and he ended saying that he will miss him and love him. We got a women's match on the show this was marine

chauffeur thunders a high on against Mercedes Monet, Persephone and Brit Baker I'm an all-star team over there huh. This is a damn good match. It was a good match. I mean look at the look the names involved how could it not yeah pretty good. So uh marina wrestled in a soccer jersey with her son's name on it which was a gift from pack ex-caliber noted that Monet's own history and friendship with pack goes back to their time in WWE which was live on air uttered you know which is amazing to me because when a W does shows like this Jesse they don't shy away from where others have worked you know it's it's fair game they they work somewhere else don't mention it especially in this because like you mentioned before Sasha was there when when Neville was first kind of picking up momentum on NXT she was there and she was getting her feet wet in the NXT system so they obviously

work together and then obviously you know on the main roster he was doing the cruiserweight thing and and Sasha was on the main roster but I just love how they're not afraid to mention WWE but all the tributes that we get coming from the WWE side that they won't mention anything about where he where he worked for the last seven eight years you know. No they even counter program this fucking chill. Yeah they counter program and you know it's it's such a terrible look and I seen Triple H tweet during the tribute show to pack such a terrible look to be tweeting video and clips out from a show that happened on Saturday night that you counter programed with against AW all out knowing that everybody is grieving in such a terrible way about his loss and he's out there just kind of tweeting mascara, Sagrada, a mask are either Sagrada and he's tweeting about many of a King go and I'm like bro can you read the fucking room dude like is it necessary?

Yeah fucking heartless pieces of shit over there. Like why didn't you move the show to maybe 4 p.m. Eastern time and let AEW have this fucking time slot at a clock to do what they got to do to fucking pay respects to this guy or maybe move it to Thursday. It's all they have to do. It wasn't again I would understand if they had network commitments to oblige I get that I'm not asking them to to to to lose out on commitments or money when when they're supposed to go on on the network but this is under YouTube channel it's not live they could have rolled that shit out a couple hours earlier or rolled it out tomorrow later on after they could they could have done whatever they wanted what they wanted to do was counter program packs tribute show that's what they wanted to do and that's what they did yeah now I didn't look at the numbers I don't know how many people were watching I didn't really care I didn't change the channel at all to anything else during the show but it's telling that did you see the rock tribute to pack he posted on social

media I did I sent it to you did you yeah it's right did you hear him mention AEW and say that they are a tremendous professional wrestling promotion 100% so if the board of directors can say this shit how come TV can't say it in WWE I don't know but it all yeah not even that it just goes to show you how if you guys are wondering where the disconnect is coming from from TKO and then Triple H and WWE that's all you need to know that's the disconnect right there because if the rock can say if Dwayne Johnson can say that about AEW which is their direct competition in the pro wrestling space why can't WWE show the proper level of respect for something like this there's a disconnect from the rock to WWE right now and he basically said it without saying it in that tribute to pack and look I said this on my stream WWE for all they put up a graphic for pack that was nice

they did not do a Tim Bell salute that's fine they don't have to at least unless I missed it they never mentioned pack again other than the the select few wrestlers who wore packs arm bands on the air on Monday that was nice that was cool but again they didn't have to do anything extra I believe they reserved the Tim Bell salute for active WWE performers that pass I think that's a standing rule from that mistaken but to go ahead with counter programming a show that has now been dedicated to a fallen friend of pretty much probably all of your fucking roster I just feel like it's it's it's it's a such poor fucking taste that is by far the pettiest thing I've ever seen them do and that is saying a lot man it was so unnecessary they could have easily easily premiered that show at any fucking time they could have done it in the afternoon they could have

did it after dynamite they could have did it tomorrow evening they could have done it when the fuck ever they could have done it to counter whenever the fucking doesn't matter that two-hour window was the absolute worst time to premiere that fucking show and they didn't give a shit yeah yeah it's it's kind of eye opening you know I understand it's business and I understand that they're the big bad evil corporation but you know it goes a long way to show some fucking heart man it's some human decency but apparently none of that exists over there no this match will pick it up after the commercial break here John Moxley appeared at ringside after the break Marina tagged in ran through everybody ordering high on arose at the stereo baseball slides on Monday and brick Baker nice to see Mercedes back in the ring I don't know when we would see her but she's wearing a makeshift mask to prevent any further damage to the broken nose so uh money and Baker taken out then hits a tiger faint head scissors that drove Persephone

face first into the apron uh so like I said Moxley's now at ringside Rosa was isolated through most of the commercial break until a double clothesline reset the match for Mercedes Marina got the hot tag ran through a flurry of thrust kicks then a double under hook face breaker on Monday um chefear and money trade shots until a bounce back German suplex in a snap suplex put Mercedes down Marina briefly applied mother's milk broken up by Persephone who then ate her own bounce back German and a big finisher Baker hit sling blade high on falcon arrow Mercedes backstabber rosettes of flying drop kick Persephone with the bridging thrust kick Marina was left all alone it took a spear from Persephone and a curb stop from Brit she signal to Moxley put on or she put on her glove and she went for the lock jaw wall high on and Rosa cleared Persephone to the floor she feared powers up spins Baker out locked in the brutalizer

which again was packs submission finish and uh she tapped out Brit Baker for the win at the end of the match Marina was crying in the center of the ring Rosa and high on went to go console her which brought Moxley into the ring for another embrace with his fellow death rider again this was good stuff that this was emotional but it was also a good match. It's nice to see Mercedes back it's nice to see Brit in there and getting some in ring action hopefully that continues for her and she kind of wipes off that ring rust after being away for two years but this was good stuff it was it was I remember when when this match was happening I was I was talking to my chat about about the match about and they're like oh who's gonna win this and I said I bought it for like a half second I gotta tell you man I don't think the death riders are losing shit tonight man as a matter of fact pretty confident Marina's Shaffer is getting the fucking win right away yeah yeah really like

clearly they are walking out of this show undefeated tonight and it was done so well especially after seeing Marina Shaffer's promo at the I forget the the company I think it was I think it was worries a wrestling yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah her and Lance archer were there and hearing her worries I mean hearing her speak on it keep in mind she just found out when she said those words when when her and Lance archer were there she he they just found out because he had he was just found at 4 p.m. that evening so a couple hours later they're at this they're at this indie show and her words kind of you know they they kind of hit home and you can tell that it's that that um it hit her pretty hard yeah and not when it's not only does it suck that pack is gone but I feel really bad for these people who treated him and knew him as family you know it's hard seeing a love one um in so much pain you know yeah did you see Eddie Kingston's uh Instagram post

I did I don't even get halfway through it man but yeah I couldn't no I'm with you I couldn't man I these people are hurting bro yeah it's just the kind of pain it does not go away next week because it's time to get back to work they will get back to work because they're professionals but they are out there still hurting this does not go away because the new week has come yeah uh we got a pre-type with swerve he said he met pack at a dragongate show and he always marveled at the man he says he impressed he impressed by his meticulous perfectionism his movements and everything was so intent uh he says that he got to know Ben he said he was quiet in a room but when he'd speak everyone listened because when he spoke it must have been important he says it was always what you needed to hear that day to get motivated he says he misses him he says he was loved and cared for so dearly by everyone he worked with Darby we go into a tribute by Darby to pack he spoke about

how dedicated he was to his craft he said for Ben he wasn't in pro wrestling for the fame with the money but rather for the love of pro wrestling he said when he heard the news that he passed he started watching old clips of him Darby began to cry and then he shared some moments he had in the ring with pack so pack was a good sport about playing in the sand at that uh show that they did on the golf course and coming up with fun spots in that match he thanked him for all the crazy moments they got to share in the ring together he says he hoped in their next life maybe they can find in the golf course to play on until then I love you this was also said man of end Tony com booked this as the show went on this was booked on the fly here uh Mark Davis Jake the oil Lance archer Joss Alexander and Wardlow Jesse making his in-ring return with the Don Callis family so they did not forget yeah well you said two things I took from this one they didn't forget that Wardlow's in the Don Callis family and two

two Wardlow is definitely coming back to an L he is not winning this match for a poor Wardlow man but less than better it is what it is but at least he didn't take the pin that's all that matters I'll I'll give him some credit this show was very non-canon I won't count this L towards his me sir I'm up uh bra the Claudio uh Castignoly Wheeler you to Danny Garcia and Gabe kids so the match started with four on five um when the Death Riders came out they huddle around packs empty chair which was in in the fans uh in the corridor that they usually kind of emerge from when they make their entrance so they what kind of uh did a little uh uh enthusiastic huddle around the chair and they will hype in themselves up um so Moxley was on commentary he hopped on commentary since his team was out number five on four jokingly the group would just roll with the punches the Death Riders music was cut off by Brian Danielson's music and he comes out in ring gear fans are

yesing to his theme music then the fans chant holy shit holy shit and and all out bra with his music still playing as it's five on five now so uh we'll pick it up in the middle here uh that uh that we had here for this big ten-minute uh Alexander's in this match nice to see him back he picked apart Gabe kid in the corner until Gabe kept tagging Claudio uh hits a big front face suplex on Josh Alexander onto the top rope Danielson flies in with a guillotine knee off the top um I'm glad to see that he's still able to go Brian uh I thought he was finished yeah you know but uh always good to see him Claudio tagged you to four the giant swing drop kick combo for a near fall the whole callus family broke it up Wardlow comes in hits a sit-out fireman's carriage driver heading into a final commercial break wheelie you to work over the uh he was working in the match during the whole commercial finally uh escaping Jake Doyle in the corner uh he gets the tag to Brian

Danielson does you to runs wild the moonsault out of the corner and a flying forearm then kicks on Josh Alexander who ducked a kick into an ankle lock attempt Danielson reversed into the little bell lock before Doyle broke that up we get the big finish here Garcia hits a dragon screw on doors like Wardlow a power bomb on Claudio uh and Claudio is fighting back eventually gets that springboard spinning uppercut Davis with a spinning laryette kid bounce back German archer a fallaway slam you to top rope hera kerana on archer before getting cut off by Josh Alexander with some German suplexes on Danielson who flipped out of the third German suplex and landed his buzz saw kick Garcia and Doyle trades shots back and forth Garcia landed a big overhand shop before Wardlow and Davis broke it up kid and Claudio make the save and dumped both of the giants in this match over the top row. So you didn't Danielson appeared behind Davis and Wardlow doing the essence into dueling running knees archer counter with a double cross body one for a choke slam on

marina at ringside who he grabbed on the apron and tried to drag her into the ring but she escaped into a cross arm breaker over the top rope Claudio dumped archer hits the twisting dive onto him outside Doyle hits a big body block on Garcia and then he rises out of the corner and does his signature dance which everybody popped for moxley on commentary called it the red kryptonite for Doyle deathrodders ramped up in the corner big laryette laryette train over and over and over and over again everybody got four revolutions of laryette shuffee or even got her own shots in for a big reaction you to danielson is stereo dives kid hits packs own running short laryette on Doyle Garcia locked on the dragon tamer on Doyle walk Claudio delivered a curb stomp for the win danielson joined the deathrodders into a group huddle in the middle of the ring moxley got into the ring off commentary everyone hugged and ex calber ended the show telling everybody at home to hug their loved ones tonight and that this one was for pack you realized something yeah um now

we had all out and tonight on dynamite we're there you'd has been in the main event i'm just saying another made of it for will you he is main event you to now yeah so we can all agree that this company would not be thriving without wea you to right i mean he's the future of the company you go man main event back to back bro there we go uh a w add a full career tribute video to pack which i mean if you didn't cry for this i don't think you you you have a soul honestly um the video was set to i know how to speak by Manchester orchestra covering packs entire career across the world obviously no wwe footage or pictures the broadcast closed with one final shot of the spotlight at empty chair with the deathrodders and danielson standing over it in the shadows behind which was a fucking chilling moment and a beautiful moment at the same time so cross tonight chat packs on often all packs own offense was

used to finish three different matches the brutalizer twice moxley and marina and the black arrow which was used by willospeite to finish off ricochet plus ricochet pack shooting star pay late kick gabe kid hit his running start laryette as a tribute uh in that big ten man tech to close the show uh a w built this entire show around packs uh legacy packs in ring style packs in ring moves some of the biggest signature moves uh and like i said it ended up being probably one of if not the best tribute show that i have had the opportunity to watch in my lifetime watching pro wrestling this was from top to bottom just an absolutely perfect show the way they all laid it out with everybody being there that need to be there the tributes they cut away to the ricochet osprey match that was quintessential what pack would have wanted i mean there's nobody better at this shit than tony kana i mean my my my thoughts in my love and every everything that i have to them tonight man

was just to tremendous show from top to bottom it really was i i don't like having to rank tribute shows because the thing about me supposed to be done with with with just whatever emotions and feelings that you have yeah so whatever whatever you want to portray you know into the camera is what we get i still remember the o and heart tribute show you know like it's none of i remember when stone cold came out to close the show and brought a beer and he left one beer in the ring for owen yeah you know i remember having to um watch debra and and jef jerry tried to power through um cut and testimonials about owen you know and it it sucked but i believe that this is probably the most emotional tribute show i've ever seen this was this was very surreal and it still did not feel like it was real you know that chair being left

there everybody hidden packs a signature moves um the pain you can see in everybody's eyes it's it's a sundown it's a show that was done very well and it's not something that we ever want to have to see again no you know i'm saying hopefully that we we won't need to see any more tribute shows done like this you know i want to see all of the guys and girls that we enjoy watching i want to see them grow old retire and sit and enjoy their grandkids and live long and healthy lives man dying at 40 years old when you are at the peak of your physical well-being man and and your career it is it's so disheartening this man worked so hard to get to where he is right now and it was it was his time to go i mean i don't know what else it when it's your time it's your time when god calls you you have to answer the call you know there there's no duck it in dodge yeah it's uh there's

the shock of it all watching them on Saturday go 20 minutes with on drade and then some day he's not here anymore it's just something i just cannot physically wrap my head around anyway guys thank you thank you for sharing uh this time with us tonight we really appreciate you being here now we have 2100 live in the chat tonight i see 823 likes if you guys did enjoy tonight's tribute to pack here on the podcast i'd love to see you guys continue to hit that thumbs up man we need another 175 for a thousand so if we get to a thousand that will really be tremendous honestly uh if you guys want to get your super chats in we are going to hang out and then uh bid you goodbye and then we're going to relax for the rest of the night i got a busy day tomorrow with work and i got to get some stuff done so thank you guys again and let's get into these here starting off first with michael kraus rest in peace pack you will truly be missed rest easy friend tone vc with it too rest in peace pack cateen with the 199 rest in peace pack always in our hearts

in my band and i can not just stop and work with you he makes money on his own he makes money with altar bridge he makes money with slash so he's got three way income there yeah i'm here you go uh nick will his pack was the reason that got me to give nxt another shot if it weren't for him i would have never witnessed the black and gold era there you go huge huge influence over that black and gold era learning with another 20 the final video gave me eddie Guerrero vibes i wasn't thinking about eddie bro i was thinking about pack yeah all right captain solo with a 10 thank you for being amazing pack i will never forget you i haven't cried this much for a loss of a pro russo since macho man randy savage rest in peace air i can't wait to see what a beautiful show i've been emotional for shows before but never like that i struggled through the entire show i kept a towel on my lap the entire night the ending video broke me god bless been and his family yeah man that ending video package was uh the nail and the coffin

honestly that was uh that was it for me i i tried my best not to cry all show and that was it couldn't help myself uh lennon with a 20 chairs to pack jc with the 50 months i haven't watched aw in so long with this one i watched i just felt like it was important rest in peace pack gravity may have forgotten but we won't powerful weight with a five just got home from the show beautiful show and wonderful tribute the last share view was right in front of me i was crying so i brought that was that was an amazing shot man that's probably one of the most uh visually beautiful shots in a w history is what they did to not to close that show chicago four mbk with the six months my eight year old was it all out with his uncle he really enjoyed the first match but told me that he wished the guy with huge muscles one rest in peace pack pack was a beast bro it was a beast mjames with a five-hour super chat don't watch a w weekly like i

used to this one i couldn't miss when i did watch a w weekly pack was one of the ones i looked forward to most rest in peace last two brother for seven years eight years jesse and i did nothing but praise that guy because there was nothing there was nothing that that man did that was so far the i can't and maybe you can chime in jesse there's not one bad match that that man is ever delivered ever no no no and he look he's not the only one that that would hold something like that there's a lot of people that do but he's absolutely one of them there's no such thing as a bad pack match at the all been five star bangers of course not but mediocre or just average or just normal is the lowest you're gonna get from them you're not gonna get a bad match out of this guy Ryan with a two-door super chat hey jd name it the song that you played before you came on which one brother was three of them long road home by anti james um i think i played uh what else did i play

i don't know i don't know the artist the name of song is hollow but it has crisp clancy from um as i like dying as i like dying um he's a he's a singer for for the band it's it's like an independent song and then space strippers by wolf and raven is the one that i usually come come come on to the stream with with the window coming down on the dark horse it's uh space strippers by wolf and raven uh based it with the four-nine then on death of pack is a sobering reminder that life is fleeting and despite whatever we are going through we shouldn't take it for granted a hundred percent brother you know we we could all be better man that this is what we we hopefully have tomorrow to look forward to we we have a chance to be better than we were the day before i wish everybody in the community would think that way but uh well they'll probably go right back to bullshit tomorrow after watching this beautiful show tonight oh yeah uh cake with the two i know pack was living seeing mox and brion reunite he's a bays a bastard bro he's a bastard

we got uh oh week with a 20 coming to us from down under australia lol in the first match moxley had orange in the podge our position for about 20 seconds waited until he was told they were back on me here in order to hit it don't know if it's just me but i found it hilarious rest in peace pack uh telly with a 34 months my favorite memory with pack will always be when he first came to nxd as neville and then to wwe as well to the wwe main roster and fought Seth Rollins will stay with me for a long time bro that was one of the best near falls in company history he had the red hour at the time on ralens and that was an unbelievable near fall finish he made you believe man you know he made he made you one of those guys that uh he looks small but he's mighty and he made you believe that he could win any match against anybody no matter the size no matter what

Eric with a 20 Eric him never in my life that i think the death rotters music would show up it's the first thing that got me i'll never hear that song the same again wait too many heart-breaking moments for this company to me is an amazing human fill with a 58 months 16 years ago i lost my grandfather today was a rough day i love ot s and i love wrestling and i love what they did tonight tonight was beautiful telly again with a 20 thank you brother tell someone that you love them especially your friends and loved ones you may not get another chance i know i will godspeed to pack neville much love to his friends and family much love to you jd and jesse peace to both you thank you brother thank you means a lot Bradley with the five coming to us from down under australia wwe should have sami zane defend the wwe title against Kevin Owens of Finn Balor as a tribute to neville they were all in the same class of nxt yeah they wouldn't even i don't even want to talk about them tonight we'll talk

about them on friday it's a tonight's about pack uh light in with its money in mexican pesos mox promo gave me ultimate warrior chills remember yeah i i remember warriors promo was as fucking morbid and eerie as anything i've ever heard on on a live pro wrestling show like he knew he was dead the moment he walked out of the ring he knew david rice with a 999 i would like to let the chat know that proceeds for those pack shirts go directly to his family well you know i didn't know that well i will be buying one that i bought one i bought one courtesy of of my chat the uh me sure to buy one for me i definitely i'll do that tonight too i didn't know that but that's that's great uh letting with a 50 in mexican pesos seeing my all time favorite wrestlers come out of a time for this was so fucking special and also he says i feel more tributes coming on smacked on since that roster is so many more pack guys than raw they should all tribute pack every single one

of them counter programed them instead yeah uh action waffle racing with a fought all sujez shout out to the calis family for doing the job and every match tonight huge respect them including warlofe taking the elm is returned uh be uh be an honor it's an honor i i i i will be honor to go out there and look at the lights for pack to be an honor uh daniel the two d'aussi butchette thank you for the live appreciate you rest in peace pack thank you for being here daniel hey brown movement with a fight all sujez i watch pack verse or caught alive at dynasty two thousand twenty four tremendous that was a fucking great match that's one of the i think that opened the show if i'm not mistaken one of the best opening matches in a w history so much now truly blessed to see him live rest the peace pack we will never forget you um basic with a four nine did on when my stepfather passed away i lost my best friend someone told me you never get over a death you just learned to live with it he was very right indeed that sounds about accurate yeah happen solo to five much respect to pack

for walking out of wwe for their creative ineptness in 2017 vince had no clue what to do with him a w treated him right he is a pioneer in that regard yeah not many people were comfortable to walk out of wwe for creative indifference they they felt as though it was uh it was uh a a dagger to their career because not only were you leaving wwe vince had the ability to black ball you wherever you yep right it's why i appreciate mrs. Adi so much she did something that many people wish they could do but she did it and she did it for her own reasons and i and i always look at that as man i respect that woman for doing that it's scary it for performers it's scary the wrestling business does not pay well across the board it does not pay well so if you have a job in wwe and now also in a w you'd be a fool to walk out for creative indifference when it's just a paycheck because far too

many wrestlers are just sitting there doing what they need to do just to earn a paycheck and the fans can see it yeah uh basic man a lot of thoughts and prayers we brother um we all we all we all feel the same way man uh i'm not over my grandma my grandpa my aunt jesse's mom you know a cardi here if you have a a a fur baby at home you know jacobnie evis with the 199 uh rest in peace pack ot s for life thank you jacob rusty with a 59 months i was lucky enough to watch up close debt triangle and you not an empire rest in peace been don stony fight all super chat as always rest in peace kevin castle you know broly's another one we miss every day be rich super shit a j with a 199 rest in peace pack dingle berry with a 10 here's to all you guys each one of you make this show what it is i love you all thank you dingle berry and midmo smart
