About this episode
We’ve never been more connected, and somehow, we’ve become more disconnected.
As a culture, as families, and as a society, how much of real life are we missing because we’re consumed by our phones? We’re scrolling through other people’s lives while overlooking our own. Social media influences how we think, what we desire, how we communicate, how we parent, how we love, and sometimes even how we value ourselves.
In this episode of The 4 Opinions, we’re challenging ourselves to disconnect so we can reconnect. What happens when we put the phone down long enough to hear our children, enjoy our families, nurture our relationships, sit with our own thoughts, pursue our goals, and actually experience the moment we’re in?
Technology is a tool, but when the tool begins controlling the person holding it, something has to change.
Maybe the next level of our lives isn’t something we need to scroll toward. Maybe it’s already in front of us, waiting for us to look up.
