70-Year-Old Woman Sentenced for Sister's Murder

She slashed film director Jennifer Abbott's throat, stabbed her 10 times, and taped her mouth shut with gaffer tape and with a court called A Cruel, Active Decordation, all before snatching her diamond-incrested gold Rolex watch. Jennifer laid dead or dying in her camdon flat for three full days until a worried neighbor finally checked in and discovered the body on June 13th. The judge at the old Bailey didn't hold back, describing Pexton as callous and cruel after the jury found her guilty of murder last Friday. Pexton, who had no fixed address, now faces at least 22 years behind bars before any parole talk, closing a savage chapter and a family torn, apart by greed and violence.
