60% Want Less Screen Time, National Lottery Urges Real Connections

0:00On March 27th, a new poll of 2000 smartphone owners reveals that 6 in 10 want to cut back on screen time and look up more to enjoy their surroundings. The survey highlights how phones get in the way, with 21% saying it stops them from appreciating nature, 26% missing, their environment, and 29% struggling to relax or stay mindful. Many find it frustrating when others walk while glued to devices, with 64% annoyed by that habit, even though 76% admit, to doing it themselves. Researchers also found 86% think people focus too much on snapping photos or videos instead of living in the moment. In response, the National Lottery launched a giant crossed fingers balloon over London's Primrose Hill last week, time with the clock change, urging, everyone to gaze upward for hope, happiness, and real connections this season.
