1991年，我听到的 “Sex Pistols” "Talking Head", " The Doors” 这类的乐队，那时这些已经是 10几 20年前的事了。而1991年代，我和学员们一边听着十多年前就已经解散的英国朋克老祖宗 “Sex Pistols”一边听着那时国外电台也刚刚播出的美式另类摇滚 ( Spin Doctors )，同时还听着当时正在改写摇滚乐历史的西雅图 grunge 圣经( Pearl Jam )。这种“过去与现在交织、历史与前沿拼贴”的魔幻听觉体验，就是我通过残缺的“打口带”建立起来的音乐审美。因为我们并不是随着世界文明的节奏，共同走到 1991年的。只是在这一年，通过反复拆解、修理那些“废塑料”，获得了世界现代音乐的编曲、器乐演奏和录音技巧的。
