Welcome back to the show. This is new day with SSJ on Sports Radio 810 WHB. Thank you very much. Joining us, we appreciate it. Let's talk some college basketball now with CJ Moore from the athletic CJ. What's going on, man? How you doing? Then I how you guys doing great. Let's get into what happened on Saturday between Kansas and Arizona. Nate or Jake. Well, Nate predicted a win. So we'll talk to Nate when he comes in tomorrow. But Jake was lamenting the fact that Kansas got it down to two in the second half and he was locked in and then it just got away from him and they got blown out. But if you didn't watch the game, you didn't realize that they got within two and it was looked like it was going to be a fantastic finish. What are your takeaways if you're Kansas from that loss to Arizona? Yeah, you can't count my really timid early on. That was very costly

because you spend so much energy getting back in the game because how poorly you played in the first half. But I mean, Arizona can do that to people. They're huge. I think Kansas, if you look, you know, whatever their NCAA tournament draw is, you're going to hope that they stay away from really, really big front lines, Arizona, Cincinnati. Those are the type of teams that give them trouble because while Florida has been really, really good and he's an amazing defensive player. He is a little bit undersized and they also are pretty thin up front. You know, they really only have two guys in the rotation that are true big. So I think, you know, Arizona is just a bad matchup. It's crazy that Kansas was able to win and lower it against that team. You know, that was a really, really impressive win for him to get it done. But I think the one thing that you're encouraged by if you're Kansas is, hey, Darren Peterson played and finished for the third straight game. You probably lose by 40 plus if he's not out there. I saw I won't name names, but for in the

mind, in the business tweeted that like, Kansas might be better with just needs to come to this conclusion. They're better without Darren Peterson and that's the truth if you watch that game. They wouldn't have been in it without him. I think he's he's starting to kind of figure it out. So that's encouraging for Kansas. And I think you just turn the page on that one and factor it to Arizona is really, really good. There was no need to name names because I read that post to Jake and made him react in the opening segment of the show. So it was it was that's what's called the old hot button that I was pushing now. Todd Leebo, Mr. Hot button himself. So CJ, like they're going to win the next two games, I think, right? Kansas is going to they should they're going to win those. Yeah, it would be shocking. I think if they lost either one of those games. I don't want to look too far ahead, but I do want to talk about the big 12 tournament. It's going to be fun basketball. But in the end, it doesn't really mean anything, right?

For some of these teams, but or do you want to see some of these teams face each other again to see if they're ready for what is to come later in March? I mean, I think for seeding purposes like Arizona, Arizona wins it's two games this week, even if it doesn't. I even could probably use to Iowa State and still be a one seed. I think Arizona's pretty pretty much locked into that one line. But Houston, Texas Tech, Iowa State, Kansas, UCF, BYU, they're all playing for seed seeding. I think they could all potentially improve their seed. You know, the two, three line is like wide open right now. So Houston, Texas, Iowa State, Kansas, I think are all battling for like two, three spots. So I think it matters in that way. So yeah, I mean, most most of these teams like how they judge their seasons will be how they do and then say tournament. Before we move on to Missouri and everything else, I'm going to talk a little bit, big 12 though, because we do have a good one tonight. I mean,

Arizona's got Iowa State coming in. You mentioned that game, Iowa State. I cannot believe they lost at home, but Tech has shown me a lot. What do you make of what Tech has done after the injury? And they have now won at Arizona and at Iowa State. Those are incredible wins by Tech. This is a team that looks like they're going the right way. Yeah. Yeah. No, it's really impressive. I haven't my thoughts when it flies a day. I know small sample sizes are, I warn not to take too much from them, but if you just like a bar tour, but put in, I start the season on last Saturday to the last three games who've been the best teams in college basketball. Texas Tech has the best offense and they be fifth overall in the country. And that's without JT Toppen. It's pretty unreal. They had a really, really good plan against Iowa State. The Christian Anderson is this plan at such a high level. Low on watch has obviously been really, really important to them and they're giving him the ball

even more. So, Madonna, that was proving to be one of the best shooters in the country. And Jalen Petty had an awesome game like they just got, they got some surprised performances from like a guy like Tyree Bryant who's barely played all year putting 10 points. So that was a heck of a performance. I was just talking to a coach though who was calling to tell me that that trip coming back from Utah, when you spend like five days in Utah, you said, you know, everybody has struggled coming off that trip. And so if you are going to, you know, maybe give Iowa State a pass for having a down game, you could, you know, kind of took them a half to get going and they played much better in the second half, but Texas Tech could build a 20 point lead at one point. So, it was tough to come back from that, but I think Iowa State will be fine. All right. So, short list of teams that shoot 58% at Hilton. I mean, that was an impressive thing because Iowa State can really de-it up. Now, but Iowa State, listen, they just went to Utah,

like you said, for a weekend or a long stretch, they come home. Now they got to go all the way back out to Arizona night. Are they going to have anything in the tank for Arizona? I mean, I'm sure they'll be super, super motivated to come out and perform well. You know, they, it took a Caleb love half beyond half-quarter to beat him last year. So, I think they'll come out and play tough, but I have a hard time seeing him win that, that road game. And then, you know, yeah, I don't, it'll be interesting to see if they stay out there or if they come home. I would imagine they'd come home because they don't play until Saturday. Oh, sorry, sorry. They play at Arizona State at home. I'm looking at the schedule wrong. So, they'll come home for that. I couldn't say it at Arizona. Yeah, they'll come home for that. I was thinking they had that road swing. Yeah, yeah. So, I'd be surprised if they, if they win tonight, but it's going to be a very, very hungry team. So, you know, it's caused a lot of crazy things happen. All right. Let's talk about these Missouri Tigers. Oh, man, CJ Moore. Hey, hey, hey, how does it be, body? That's right. So, they, they took

care of business in a really good game against Tennessee. And then they went to Mississippi State. They're only favor by a point and a half or two points. And that game was over almost by the first TV time out. They put it on Mississippi State. Mississippi State is not very good right now, but that's what you needed from Missouri. And they're 10 and 6 in the conference. And I feel like they should be off the bubble now. They got two games left at Oklahoma, which is, uh, that's tomorrow night, Todd isn't. Todd's driving down there. We're going. We're going. You're not to get it. Pick me up. Actually, we're not. Mezzoo at Oklahoma. Then they will host Arkansas this weekend. And that's it. So, tell me how you feel about where Missouri is positioned. Yeah, I think in a really, really good spot. I mean, you could conceivably lose these two and probably still be on the on the right side. So, um, I think, you know, several weeks ago, back we said, like, just just have a winning record in the SEC and you're going to have a pretty good chance at it. And that's, that's a lock now. So, um, Tigers have done a great job getting back into

this and, and uh, didn't skate. So, there's a lot of credit for, you know, it seems like his career arc is kind of like when you really start to doubt his team, um, they play their best. So, um, and impressive work there. I, you know, Mississippi State's not very good, but hey, hosted Auburn a couple of weeks ago and like Auburn is in the squarely in the bubble position right now and, you know, I wasn't able to win there. So, you don't apologize when you road wins. And, um, with that line, man, I, Jake, Jake, what tends to throw us, you've dutts around every once in a while, right? I, I, I hope maybe he jumped on the, uh, the Tigers this weekend because that's crazy. It was a, it was a point and a half, that we said. Well, what, what, what was it when it closed? Jake's looking right now. He's investigating. It wasn't, it wasn't a big spread. I thought it was like, maybe I'm wrong. It was a point and a half or two and a half, something like that. Uh, because the first time around, it was a five point game. Uh, now Hubbard had a much better game.

And this, that was seemed like even a different Missouri team, but they've, you know, it is a different Missouri team. But Missouri is still not very good. And like the predictive, like at Kim Pom and Torvik and those kinds of sites, because the score differential was so bad and some of the games early on, but, um, this is like a completely different team in the last, you know, month or so. And, and, and what, if you're a Missouri fan hoping for good things in March, you can point to real reasons why this is a different team than it was in the non-com, when they got blown out by Illinois, they got blown out by Kansas. Trent Pierce wasn't playing. Jaden Stone was out injured. And this unicorn, the seven foot five unicorn, named Trent Burns, was just a rumor. And now he comes off the bench and plays 15 to 20 minutes and hits skyhooks and block shots. And it's like, what the hell am I watching here? It's, uh, those, that's, that's a lot of players that weren't playing a word-making impact that all of a sudden they are.

And Teo Barrett wasn't even close to, so what he is now either. I mean, I think he wasn't starting. Yeah, he's, his minutes were kind of, you know, all over the place and, um, obviously wasn't starting. And, um, you know, I think they figured out a formula of, hey, we got to win in the paint. We've got to, you know, get to the free throw line constantly and, um, you know, with him. And, and Mark Mitchell, that's two guys that do that at a really, really high level. And, and look, Teo Barrett scored 28 points against, uh, against Tennessee. So they couldn't stop him. And that, like you said, he's, since he's taken over, it's been a different team. So it'll be interesting to see in the damage chance to finish on the top four in the SEC if they could just get by these damn tuners in Norman, Liebo. Easier said than done. You go ahead now. Easier said than done. You know, we were talking earlier about this. Auburn is an interesting team that, you know, their ex-coach is on TV now. You can

tout them and talk about them. But they are like 40th at Ken Palm. Are they getting a lot of credit for, for losing to good teams early in the year? I know they beat St. John's. But most of their other, you know, high profile games, they lost them. They were to really good teams. But I don't understand how a team in the SEC that's not as good as it was last year has had the kind of, the recent stretch they've been on. And they're still hanging in there inside the tournament right now. Can you give me some insight to the nitty gritty that has them where they are? Yeah, I mean, I think one of the bubbles kind of weak. And when you start to look at those teams, you know, the committee values drink the schedule. Auburn has the hardest drinks schedule in the country. Whether you win or lose, I mean, you get credit for losing to good teams too, right? Yeah, sometimes you do. But when you start to look at like, okay, who of these teams that are on the bubble actually beat? And Auburn has a neutral over St. John's, a home win again since

these days, which is whatever. But you know, a tournament team beat Arkansas one at Florida. That's a big one. You know, Kentucky win. Like the their wins are better than a lot of the other bubble teams and the fact that they have the hardest schedule in college basketball. I think that's why they're still in consideration. But man, like if you're going to have a, let's say they split this week and they'll end up with a seven and 11 SEC record like. And the SEC is not nearly as good as it was a year ago. Right. I don't know. I would, I would be with anybody. It would be like, what the heck are we putting that team in? Well, I think when I look at, you know, most of these rankings, since there is no pack 12 anymore, right? So you're going to have more teams from the ACC, the big 10 and all that and, and big east. I mean, you, there's just precious few teams from the non power five basketball. You, you got Gonzaga St. Mary's that, you know, the, the typical

customer in there, a couple, a couple of mountain west. And then, I mean, that's just how it's going to be. So you're going to have some bad teams from these big leagues. I mean, there were bad teams last year in it because the SEC got 14, you know, bad basketball teams in there. This, this is the situation we've made with the way that the, the amount of leagues there are. They're just all going to be stuck here with bad, bad teams from these leagues, I think, right? It's almost like conference realignment sucks. Yeah, it almost is, isn't it? But this is where we are. This is where we are. The other one we've talked about this a couple of times before. And now Miami, Ohio is 28. No, is that right? Yeah, but there's still 29. I think there's 29. I know they're still hanging around like 87th and Ken Palm. And if they don't win their tournament, it's going to be hard to put a team that's 31 and one or whatever in the tournament. If they're 87th, they're 8 and they're going to put them in. They're going to put them in. You think so? Yeah, their resume stuff is pretty good. When you look at like strengths of record and wins above bubble, which the resume stuff they look at harder than the predictives when it comes to at least tournament

inclusion. Now, when it comes to seeding, they look at the predictives a little bit. They give that a little bit more value. But still, the resume they stuff is what they care about the most. I'm sure there'll be a debate in the room if they lose. Not only do they have like their strength of record, or sorry, their strength of schedule is like bottom two or three in the country. They've also beat three of those wins against non-evision one team. So, those don't even count. So, like, it's anyone that, you know, like I don't rank them and they are ranked, but I don't rank them because it's like they're playing. It'd be like if you had, you ranked every baseball, professional baseball team, and you included AAA and AA teams in the ESIC rank as well. And it's like a team that's in AA is crushing it and you went and ranked them. That's basically what it is for Miami of Ohio right now. Like, they didn't play anybody worth a crap. They didn't play me 18 teams. They didn't play me. They played the worst mountain-less team like their schedules

is not very good, but I think the fact that they went undefeated and how hard that is to go undefeated much, let's say they actually go undefeated and lose to like they could very easily lose to Akron in their conference term. Akron's probably better. So, they could lose to Akron in their conference term and I still think they'll get in based on like wins above bubble and strength of records. Wins above bubble. I like that stat. I don't understand why you're not crediting their win over Trinity Christian or with any sort of love or something called IU East. Yeah, I'm not crazy. So, so right now, let's see, at wins above bubble, let me find them. It's hard. Let's see, they are 32 at wins above bubble and 21 at strength of record. Like those two numbers are going to get them in. Yeah, they'll get them in. Yeah. Who do you think is the player of the year in college basketball this year? Cameron Booser. It's going to be like unanimous. What do you think he

gets? Where does he fit in as far as NBA prospects? He'll be at probably top three at worse four pick. You know, he's he's a little bit, I guess, underside. I mean, he's only, you know, six nine post guy, but he can play facing up. I think like Kevin Love might be the best comp of like guys that have been successful in that NBA, but super skilled, super productive. He's had an unbelievable just consistently awesome year. Who's the best conference this year? I think it's between the big 12 and big 10. I've probably leaned big 10, but but it's close. So off the wall when we talk a lot about, you know, just the insanity of the transfer portal and all that. I like to hear this. So Chad Baker, Mazara, the 26 year old from USC who's scoring 18 points

of game. It's had enough. Have they had enough or has he had enough? What's going on here? I need to make a few calls on that one today, but I'll give you this stat. Eric Muthleman has had one player in his whole career played four years for him. So if you want to throw it all on the player who's been, you know, several places and, you know, obviously is super like he's 20, I think he's 26 years old, maybe 27. I don't know. He's like the oldest student college basketball. But at the same time, that's a coach that has had some weird things happen with players in the past. So I don't want to cast stones at the player. It was a weird situation. He came out of game, got hurt, sat on the baseline, like with the fans, when he came back out, didn't sit on the bench, but yeah. So we're deal there. And Muthleman said in his post game press, he's been doing

that all year. I need to go back and watch some of the games and where he sits on the bench when he goes out of game, but I'm going to guess he doesn't sit there. Yeah. It's just one of the weird stories going on with everything we've had because you're 26. You've played a lot of schools. And I think he got drafted by like a Dominican professional league or something. I mean, Muthleman is what he is, but not having anyone play for four years and not having someone get through March is a different situation altogether, I guess. Who knows, man? It's USC. No one pays attention to it and tell something like this happens. Wow. Yeah. Yeah. He's so dismissive of other schools and, you know, that's why we like that. Let me ask you a silly question. This is stupid. Oklahoma stinks at basketball this year. Okay, but they're 50th in Kenpom. If they beat Missouri in Texas, is that bad team going to be inside the bubble? It took him 20 minutes to ask that question. See, George, Nancy, that one. I mean, they could potentially hear be 7-11 in the SEC, which is the same record that we're talking about Auburn will probably have and still be included.

So, you know, the out of conference losses other than the Arizona State one, they're not bad. Maybe if they win a few games in the SEC tournament, we're talking about the Sooners is having a chance. I mean, I don't think so, but I mean, you're not wrong that like, you would think there's a there's a scenario where they could maybe play themselves in. Well, back to what what Todd brought up earlier. Apparently, Auburn can't play their way off the dog. Yeah, no matter how bad they can. No matter how many games they lose, who they lose to now, they're just they're just in. In Bruce Pearl, I'd see him rant and rave about how they should be in, so that's fun. Oh geez. Right. Exactly. Oh geez. He's ranting and raving about some things. Oh, sure. And why wouldn't he? CJ, as always, thank you so much for the time. We appreciate it. We'll talk to you next week. All right, guys. Thank you. CJ Morphin. Yeah. This is a USC thing. Wow. If you're good about this, that segment, Jake, yeah, see that's great. What's wrong with what's going

on USC? That's just muscle man. Go on. He takes his shirt off to celebrate victories. I could promise you that you see in there, haven't you? Yes. We'll stand on the scores table. We'll do it all. You don't like him? Hmm? Well, I mean, USC basketball is one of the better big 10 programs. I just had to get that in my head. That's a big 10 out there. We go. USC is, I guess you go out there because have had it. California. I don't know. Well, probably four four point two five million dollars helps. I mean, he'd done things at Arkansas that were going pretty good, but just get out, I guess. I don't know. They wanted to probably got paid more money at USC. I don't know. Probably not tons more. Where would you read? Well, some people don't pay taxes, but what tax what tax would you like to him situation? Would you rather have? I, I, I resent that you like to have him or Porter Moser. I'd rather Porter Moser. That's, that's dumb. Hear that? Look, hey, he said he'd

rather have Porter Moser doing it right. All right. There we go. I think you're silly. I don't think you mean that Jake says I think you're playing to the exercise. Yeah. Or is that is that true? I'm not being truthful guy. Yeah, but we're talking about coaching basketball. Who's the better coach? I don't know. One that's been to the final four. Porter Moser is probably a better coach. Eric Muslim is better at talent acquisition, perhaps. Yeah. Well, I don't know, which is more important. We'll find out after this on sports radio 810, WHB. Welcome back to New Day with SSJ on sports radio 810, WHB Steven St. John Todd Lee Bojacket tiras. Debes. Okay, let's try to run down all of the hot topics on the show. First of all, Ian Rapaport. Rapaport. Rapaport. Rapaport. Has Rapaported. Rapsheet. Rapsheet.

And a man that will fight Jordan Schultz if necessary and a Starbucks near you. I don't believe it. I think I saw that Starbucks when I was in Indianapolis. I didn't want to make you want to fight someone. The lobby of the Hyatt or one of those hotels. It's a JW, right? Yeah, Maria. Yeah, that was the one right next to it. Yeah, I think so. I've stayed there before. Ian Rapaport, a couple of hours ago, post. The chiefs are releasing former starting offensive tackle. Joanne Taylor creating some much needed cat space source says, do a $27.4 million cat pit, Taylor's absence creates a breathing room. Yeah, they say it's about $20 million of breathing room, I think. Right. They could have waited, but since it's Joanne Taylor, they decided to let them leave early. I mean, come on. That was, that was good. I laughed. I was part of the left track. Just sometimes when he, yes, he would, sometimes, lots of times, lots of times.

I'm moving on. And you fell in love this weekend, for sure. Jeremiah. Oh, God, yes. Love. Look, I'm now, I'm a coward. I'm living in fear of them blowing this pick. And the guy that I'm, I'm most sure that won't blow the pick is Jeremiah love. Did you see this? The, the, the, the, the, the, the running routes as a receiver. Yeah. The footwork smooth. The interviews. They've been a player of you played earlier in the intro. He's begging to join this organization. Another chiefs, old chiefs friend. He's asking for it. Tom Palacero says the commanders and veteran offense element Nick Allegredi have agreed to a new two-year deal per source. I love Nick. I'm super bowl champ with the chiefs old news. I love Nick Allegredi though. Stephen, like, retreated that like last week, Todd. Well, it's just they've announced it now. I like it. And do you read mock drafts? You don't. I see them, but I try not to

pay attention to them. Like I see a lot of people saying I'm getting drafted to the chief Saints. I saw the Giants, saw the commanders, saw the cowboys not too long ago. I mean, I'd be blessed to go anywhere. Yeah, but I try not to pay attention to that. Yeah, the chiefs are where, you know, I'm seeing you a lot. Yeah. And obviously, you know, playing football with Patrick Mahomes would be something I'd imagine. Oh, you're from, you're from St. Louis, right? You're from Missouri. Yes, sir. I'd be close to home. Yeah, and you would be close to home. That's something you'd be up for. I imagine. Yes. Yes, I would be, especially planned with Patrick Mahomes. Right. I feel like he's I mean, the best quarterback as of right now, best in the league. I feel like he's top one. So it'd be honor to play with him. That's right. That's exact. Say all the right things. He also fits into the thing that chiefs actually like he's very young. He's only 20 years old. He won be 21 till the end of this month. And in a draft where there are lots of old dudes in this draft,

they still like to draft some really young players. Sure they do. Because I mean, they just feel like there's four, six, 40, buddy, you know, what was it? Was it was it? Was it not one of those one of those D ends was like just five days younger than George Carloftus or something. Carloft has been leaked. Look how well-mested or is from Miami. Is that you're talking about? It might have been him. Yeah. He 25th. Yeah. Jeremiah loves second run. Slightly better. Four, three, six. His first run, which was an unofficial 437, but hey, baby, that was after the 436 that he just ran. Yeah. Carloftus is still 24. You know, I changed my mind. Let's let's draft love. Okay. All right. We just did it. No. Oh, I'm fine. Look, don't do that. Come on. Okay.

Steve is going to wear you down. Gibbs is five nine one ninety nine. Love is six foot two twelve. Gibbs ran a four three six. Jeremiah loved ran a four three six. Ten yard split gives one fifty two. Love one fifty five. Look, sounds like a great fit for the commanders. Just telling you this, I'm okay. It's part of this. Me as that is that, you know, that that thorn in his in Jake side shirt is that pebble in his shoe. Yeah. So uncomfortable. But I'm not going to lie to you. I watched him run that 40. I watched him go through drills. I hear what other people are saying. I'm watching film at Notre Dame. I'm like, I love Jeremiah. I love. I posted a video and just tag Jake on it just to make sure he saw it because I don't know if you see like like three different times. Now this right now, the 98 yard run in that playoff against him. Do you see that?

You see that very often from chiefs? Was that against Indiana? Yeah. Kurt Signati, the great Kurt Signati. Look man. Couldn't stop this guy. I'm just trying to give him all the information necessary to make an educated decision. I'm not forcing. He didn't have to do what I want or say what I want. You get to, you know, we didn't have Timmy last week. You missed him. Tim would tell you about it. He's already told me. He told you about it. He's going to tell you about it. It's a great kid. He's off till the draft. And again, and again, listen to me. I don't think he's going to be there. Right. I don't think he's going to because he was so spectacular at the combine. I think he's he's not going somewhere. He's not going to mess some interview up either. He's a really great kid. Wonderful. That's why I'm telling you. That's the surest thing in the draft. He's more of a sure thing than Mendoza. He is. He's the surest thing. And so if he falls to

nine, you don't you take that card and it's like you run the 40 run your ass up there at that podium. And then you're saying. All right. No. I don't need. That only is going to be there. I don't need love. Whatever he is. Oh, give it to me. I don't care. And I'm saying a bunch of stuff right now that he can. He's going to play back in funny clips, right? Because I'm going to give it to you, baby. Give me love. I want some loving. I'm going to burn in love. You don't think I'll play that all the time? Playing that song, burning love. A lot of love songs. You know, at the next day, but I love Elvis. And I love this running back now. If he has 142 yards in his first game, in the next day, that Monday, we're playing a lot of money. Feel my temperature rise. Feel my running back rising. Right. See? We can do all kind of.

Four, three, six, forty, and the combine. Catching passes and kicking asses. Drived in cheese. Brett, each run to the podium. Who's he? I love him. I do love, but he's not going to be there. But if he is, Jim, remind your love. My temperature is rising. You start to sweat. That's enough. I just buzzed the whole song. Now, let me do a song about Mackay Lemon. No, I'm not. I want to do songs about every possible traffic. Who do you want? Now we have to compound go through. You don't even know what you want. Yeah, no, listen. I'll take tape. I'll take my styles. No, no, no, no.

And then you got tape. Number one, give me the guy you hope most, reasonable. Look at that. Of course. Yeah, I'm with you. I'm sure. Bailey's my hope. I don't think that's going to happen either. But if I had hope, it's like here, you can have any of these guys that are possible to fall. I'll take. I'll take Bailey. Take 40, scary. Yeah. Not really. Okay. I mean, by the way, happy birthday, Isaiah, but check out four, five, three, I think is what you're in. No, that doesn't bother me. Lebo, where have you landed? What would you like? What would you like to see happen? Well, I don't think Bailey's going to be there. I like, I like Bane. I like Bane's attitude. I like Bane too. I'll take Bane. But let me tell you something. It's going to be, we're going to have to wait a long time in the locker room to do an interview with him because you're not long going to take him to put his pants on his tie shoes. He'll have to have some open the train stamp. Would you help me tie my shoes? I can't read my shoelaces. You need some arms that you short. Needs of slip-ons. Some slides. Yeah. All he wears is slip-ons. Loafers only. Some little loafers and some velcro. And you know, some elastic pants.

You just step into him and get down there and kick one foot up. He'll find his way. Someone hand me the plan book. I can't read you. They're not that short. No, they're not. I know I'm mocking people with their mocks. And also, you can't get the right answer. Because you got met Mill and other people. Oh, yeah, I've talked to some teams and measured them at 32 inches. What? Well, now they're complaining about like the 40 times weren't right. Right. But here's the deal. Before we bitch, you can plan about the length of someone's arms. Can we get the length right first? Yeah. Oh, and trust me. All right. I got lots of experience in embellishing and adding a couple of inches when they shouldn't be. All right. It works for me. But you're not drafting me in the first round. Get the tape out. Just give me a minute. If I was Chad, I'd yank me off of here right now. Just take me off of here. Just shut my mic off. Because I'm feeling it right now. I might go right through 10 o'clock.

I right now, I've got the energy of a young man. I could go to, I could go to, I don't know, 1230. Yeah. I'm all over the place. 1230. I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm excited about starting Marta being on the bench to give me another bat. I like what I've seen from the combine. Missouri Tigers. Put it on, Mississippi gentlemen. They went down there and they drank a hump. Delicious wine made from fermented horses urine. These people don't know what I'm talking about. I beggin' them to play that clip so I don't look stupid. Leave him alone. He's trying to do the map how to get to 1230 now. I'm gone. Joanne Taylor has officially been released. I salute you, sir. But now money will be saved to spend on something in the US and they very rich people like to drink a wine.

It is like a kazaki wine but not made from fermented horses urine. I go to meet Mrs. Sipa gentleman to find more chickweed. Dennis Gates went and to Mississippi gentlemen and kicked ass. I don't know if a gentleman has started. You know what I'm looking for? The gentleman who had asked for it. When Trent Burns was hitting Skyhooks, I'm not going to say what you texted. There's no gentleman has started. But I'm watching. I'm like, what am I looking at? Jake, should I read what he texted? I'm looking at a seven foot five young man with good footwork hitting Skyhooks. How did he get on the team? Back after this on WHP. That was pretty cool. The running bag Mike Washington Jr. That's a guy. I told you, put on your list. If the cheese don't draft love, I'd love to see him get their hands on Mike Washington Jr. He ran a 4-3-3-40 and there was in tears obviously on the chair afterwards because he knew what that meant to his draft stock. He's big. He's obviously fast and he's a very good receiver. And that

man, I have to double thumbs up to that guy. But see, here's the deal though. Did a lot of wind him. He might have got it. He might have got into the second round. Yeah. Because that size speed combo. Yeah. And he lit it up. And again, not in premium position. That's the way it's a very, very good receiver too. So I like Jake likes him at four. Yeah, I'll take him at 40. You go love and Washington. That's overkill. They need to really rework this room. Okay, so let's get your rulings on everything. Number one, did we all thumbs up on the Starling Marta signing? Yeah, I'm with it. Yeah, good move. Here's the way I look at it. Mark, here's the way the Royals got better over the weekend and gave up nothing but money. Okay, keep doing things like that. Number two, all good with, we knew what was coming, but let him go. Joanne Taylor. Absolutely. To create salary cap space. No, no nervous Nellies about right tackle. No, Jake,

you good with it? I'm great with it. Okay, had to happen inevitable. Now what? I'll say, we haven't talked about this all day. Let's give 10 seconds to sporting Kansas City. Yeah. Two to draw. That was that was the progress. I would have saved. Yeah, pole camp. Yeah, great. Low to the right. Yeah. Columbus solid team. Yeah, but nice to pull the win out. It was a late goal, but still, man. Nice for you. Yeah, point. I was worried they weren't going to get points. Good. Yeah, good, good home opener for the Trent Burns and Missouri Tigers. How do the sky hooks make you feel? Great. Like that song. Yeah, but what makes me feel even better is the way they've been playing defensive past couple of games. Yeah, much better because they've been in some shootouts. You know, and look, this is like like every other team in March madness. It all depends on matchups. But, you know, their length is going to give teams a lot of issues.

The right team. We're going to make this call right now about tomorrow night. No, I have no confidence in them going to Norman. I mean, Oklahoma almost beat them in Missourina. They had a beat twice. You beat them two times. You know, I'm the and that's that's the next level to unlock. Consistency. Kansas, Jayhawk consistency. Where are you? How do you feel? Let me take your temperature on Kansas. Call out that lost Arizona. I didn't expect them to win that game. Okay, but is it disappointing how kind of really fell apart at the end? Are you happy enough to pick game back? I think CJ made a great point that it's a third straight game that Darren Peterson has started and finished. So I mean, that's a progress. So we're not the next two games and let's see how they do in the big 12 tournament and carry some momentum into the into the big March madness and he fear at all about you guys. No Arizona State road game. No, none. None fear. No. Bobby Harley. Oh, quit on him. I got news breaking news.

Pro football focus with their post combine mock draft. Mendoza won Reese 2 Miami tackle 3 sunny styles 4 carnal Tate 5 6 Cleveland Monroe Freeling the tackle from Georgia. Seven Washington going bailing eight Saints going Jeremiah love. Bailey's sitting there. So listen to this. What would you do if this happened? They they have Caleb Downs and David Bailey and Makai Lemon sitting there and it has them taking Caleb Banks the defensive tackle from Florida. No, let me tell you that's a reach. That's a reach, but his stock is exploding because of how he measured and what he did. And and but that's if you remember on Friday. It happened. No, but that's one of the guys that I told you that is the type of prospect that I target if you move back and pick up another pick or so. You've moved back into the teens.

Okay, I'll take a shot, but let me tell you something number nine. He's the definition of boom or bust and maybe nothing in between. Boom or you tell me Bailey's sitting there and they take banks. Oh man. I wouldn't love that at all. I'm showing you how wide variety. A wide variety might get a lot of consensus on mock drafts for now. You just do one every day. At least one. Yeah, one of every single day. You got tape this morning. And then you got tape. I had fun today guys. Good times. Do it again tomorrow. No, not really. No, I won't. You guys go ahead and have fun. Nate the wet blanket will be here. Nancy will get me here. Got a wet blanket. He's an older man. Birthday boy. Then you get it. You get it. Yeah, I know. He finally made it. Who called Nate a wet blanket? I did. Jake did. Jake Gutierrez will be covered with that wet blanket tomorrow. And he'll keep us warm.

I love Nate. I did too. Did Scott leave this jacket in here? Yeah, I got to take that. I'm going to grab it for him. That's nice. That's the new day. Make him buy me coffee. Yes, right. The good stuff. Get the good stuff out of him. Get some off the counter. I got your jacket for you. Just get off the counter. Go look up that counter in there. Just call for you all over the place. I fixed it. Have a great day right here on Sports TV 810, whp. Goodbye.
