279: Cathy Freeman - The Millionaires Club (Part A)

The Millionaires Club finale. And what a way to finish. One of our - and your - absolute Howie Games favourites.

Ten years after our first chat, Cathy is all in on a conversation that has everything. Nostalgia, laughs, competition, life, Australia and some seriously emotional moments.

Cathy takes us back to the Stawell Gift, 30 years on, and what it feels like to stand on the start line knowing you want to win. Then comes more memories of Sydney 2000… and an incredible description of what it felt like to be lifted by the Australian crowd on one of the biggest nights in our history.

We talk about that feeling of unity, what it still means to Cathy today, and the incredible potential of Brisbane 2032.

And, after 10 years of The Howie Games, this is a very special way to finish our Millionaires Club Anniversary Series.

Cathy Freeman. One of Australia's greatest. One of our favourites. One hell of a conversation.
