057: Who Put the Faux in UFO? | with Ryder Lee

Happy Friday, Conspiracy Players. On today's episode, we are joined by researcher, documentarian, and podcaster Ryder Lee, to discuss one of the oldest conspiracy theories out there—the existence of, visitation by, and recovered crash landings of, spacecraft not of our world. While many of us enthusiastically take these stories at face value, there has been growing skepticism in the research community on the validity of any of it. Could it be that much of what we have come to love about UFO and alien folklore was instigated by our own government? Ryder stands on the shoulders of giants and picks apart years of research, documents, books, and articles to make this compelling case. As a plethora of whistleblowers, supposed abductees, and even witnesses in congressional hearings continuously muddy the already brown waters of this topic, it might be important to consider the likelihood that much of what we have been told was fabricated for more nefarious reasons. So grab a pen and notepad and strap in for another information dense episode! As always, thank you so much for joining us and being the Player you are; please like, subscribe, comment, or share with anyone who might wanna hear the good word.
