Welcome back inside the Ann Arbor Studios of the Big 10 50 W T K A online at the big 10 50 dot com. So our Michigan Wolverines are two and oh. And as I have mentioned, if you see anybody that says that they're not undefeated, anybody that says that West Michigan is like a reporter, a writer, you can just clown on them because they're just clowning on themselves. So there's that the Michigan Wolverines get ready for you to have this Saturday. And again, just a warm up game. This is a final tune up as you're trying to get ready for big 10 play and a lot of things still to improve on. Obviously, it's just week two. They've played two games. You aren't going to be a finished product no matter what you are through two weeks. But go back to say the 2023 Michigan football season. What were we saying about the 2023 Michigan football season through two weeks of the football season? Now there was a lot more

experience in a lot of positions, including at the quarterback position. There's no question about it. But the second game of the year that year was the bowling green game. If I recall correctly. And if you recall, then the bowling green game Michigan did not look very good. And you had what three interceptions. Oh, sorry, third game. It was the third game. Now Michigan ends up winning the game 31 to six, but your quarterback, those three interceptions. He didn't look very good. And it was actually the three year anniversary of that game is tomorrow. It was September the 16th. The point is you can be a work in progress at the beginning of the season. You should be a work in progress at the beginning of the season. And Kyle Wittingham even talked about the fact that it's still just two games into a new system on the offensive side of the ball. Offense is generally a little longer to put in and to really catch to where you're going to defense. Defend. You put a couple things in early. You get you master those things. And then you keep adding layers to it. And you also have a lot of you have a lot of veteran players. They don't have not actually not all of them have experience at Michigan, but you have a lot of veteran players on defense. And in particular, that back end is very experienced. So you can do a lot of things with those guys. But there's a very

simple message in what Kyle Wittingham said to his team over this week. And it's interesting because it is very truthful in just about everything you do. Do more. Right. He said, he just do more. Do more in the weight room. Do more in this. Do more in that. Do more in when you're watching film. Do more of this. Just do more. And I know it's an over simplicity, an overly simplistic statement. But if you at the point really is more than anything else, if you think you're doing enough work to get the job done, if you think what you've done is enough so far, it's not you have to do more. Whatever that level is, I always talk to people that when you come on the radio or if you're going on a microphone for like PA announcing, that's actually probably the best example. When you go on a microphone when you're in public speaking, you're doing like PA announcing, you're trying to get to crowd involved that kind of thing. If you've never really done it before, I always tell people, you think your energy is at a 10 when you start and it's probably at a six and it needs to be at an 11. So the point is you think you're at a 10. So you think you're working at that hardest level that

you're at a 10. What you realize is that you're only at a six. So do more. Sanctuary of hope changed my life. I was only 19, scared, pregnant, alone. This is going to be a really hard game to truly gauge if they've gotten better from week to week. Again, maybe in a negative way, you could, you could talk about that they have, but I don't think we're going to see regression this week. I think you will see progress. I just don't think you'll be able to discuss it or truly know it until you see that progress. The following week against the better team because no offense to you, you tap and we're going to probably say that a lot. I already have today's only Tuesday. I already have said sorry. An apologies to you. Tep many times. It's not that kind of an opponent. You're getting ready to face Iowa. That's what we're getting ready to see. And whatever we see on Saturday is just that. It's just a game. It's not a narrative changing game. It's not a narrative affirming game. It's just a work. And so they need to get in good work. That's the plan. Get in your good work. And then move on to the next because by the time you're into the fourth quarter,

this game should be one of those games where your games put away. All of them. Most of my post game notes are ready to go. That kind of thing. Fans are already rejoicing the, you know, an easy victory. And then you're thinking about, all right, it's time for big 10 play because when the game, when the, when we hit triple zeros on the clock on Saturday at about seven o'clock, whatever time that's going to be right around seven o'clock at Michigan Stadium, triple zeros will be on the clock. And Michigan will be a quarter of the way through their football season. Just think about that on the way to break as we get you ready for the game. Now the matchup against you, Tep, you know, it's just kind of one of those two no games. But for us, every game is a day to have a great party inside Joe's garage. We can jam and Joe.
