The team that will never lose another game that already won the Super Bowl somehow goes down to Australia and gets absolutely spanked. I cannot wait to talk about it with my friends Evan Hill at Evan Hill HB Jeff Simmons at Real Jeff Simmons. 1:00We had to. I just knew we were going to be texting between ourselves for a while about it, just like shit talking. I figured we might as well do it for an audience. Jeff, how fun was that man? And well actually I know how fun it was. I want to hear that too. Have you quote tweeted the Times reporter yet? I have not. I did tweet him directly and call him a pinhead. Because that guy pissed me off last year where I think it was after like the Panthers game they wrote like the Rams just like got over there one like bad game. They're going to breeze through the playoffs. It was like well the Siocs don't exist and the Siocs beat them and then they're going to be undefeated. The national media, the local media, the team, the coach, the president. They've been so arrogant all off season really since that trade really since the Siocs loss to see them get spanked, especially when their plan miserably failed and their

2:01plan was pretty arrogant of how they're flying into Australia. That was I got to think the thing you'll ever see the three of us celebrating a 49ers blow out when like this. But the Rams were so arrogant it has brought us to this point. I for people that don't know what we're talking about his name is Bill Plaschke and he is a LA time sports columnist and he also is on ESPN's around the horn. He wants you to know that and he wrote an article published four days ago. Column says not a hot take just reality. Rams will go undefeated on their way to winning another home Super Bowl title. Well at least one part of that Evan is no longer possible. This team is not going undefeated. I mean, just right. 49ers winning comfortably is not usually something we come on to celebrate. But what did you like the best about watching this game? I'm not sure I've ever seen a more unprepared Rams team for a Sean McVeigh lead Rams team

3:10than this game. I just got to say shout out to those two staffers that got a free trip to Australia to do that whole like sleep test thing. At least they got a free trip out of this because whatever they did clearly did not work. Were those like Seahawks sleeper agents? Did they like report back bad results? I don't know man. All I know is I think Jeff articulated it really well. Like the past nine months, the way the national media has absolutely sucked off the Los Angeles Rams. It's like they won the Super Bowl. That's what it's been like. It's been the LA Rams show. We feel like a forgotten story. There's a level of disrespect here. If you just look at what the national media has been saying for the past nine months, but man, what a humiliating night for them. I mean, they yanked Stafford. He didn't even finish the game.

4:10There are so many parts of this I want to talk to you guys about. I will just point out a fact. Drew Lock came in after one series. The Seahawks scored 13 points in a game that felt really rough offensively. Brian Flurry's first game as a play collar and they outscored the Rams by six points. Like I think you could argue that there are two OCs that have outperformed Sean McVeigh in week one going into this next week. Jeff, I got to ask you like, why do you think this happened? What stood out to you about why the Rams got job like just rocked in this game? Well a couple of things to me and I think you come up with two plausible scenarios. One, they're planning to fly in the day before they looked like a jet lag team. The 49ers have been there all week acclimating to this. The Rams, the president of the team was quoting David Lombardi talking about how strong

5:14their plan is. Peter Schrager, the mouthpiece, was kind of promoting this as a tried and true tested plan. And they looked like a jet lag team. So if that's the case, it might not carry over to the rest of the season. That's option one. Option two, they looked like a slow and old team and they looked like a team that didn't have a lot of juice. So that's the question. The question is really like, are they the Dwight Howard Steve Nash Lakers or were they just jet lag because the big stories come out of the game is simple. Brian Miles Garrett was a zero. You can think of the worst player on the C.R. Steepance last night. Miles Garrett was worse than them. He was a zero. They missed Jared verse tonight, didn't they? And number two, that staffer had one of the worst games I've ever seen him play on the Rams. So was that age? Was that jet lag? I don't know. I don't know that answer. But one of the questions about this team honestly is their team speed.

6:16And outside of Puka who's not like, it's not going to be a lot of guys in a race. But like Devon Say Adams was a zero in that game. The running backs to like play horror looked pretty good, but both offensively and defensively, they looked slow. So is that jet lag or is that just the roster? I don't know. We're going to find that out. Both those things just leave a lot of questions, right? Do you think that if they had Aaron Donald, they win this game? Hell no. I don't know. It makes no difference. It makes a difference, I think. But I don't think they win this game. I mean, Stafford did not look good, guys. What do you guys think about that? We talk about obviously like the Milo's Garrett thing, but like Stafford did not look great. He looked awful. And he also took bigger hits than I've seen him take maybe all of last year. Like their protection was really good last year.

7:19He was there constantly ahead of the chains that were taking making quick passes. He was getting hit hard early in that game. And guys, his passes were not close. Like not close. What do you end up with tonight? Good Lord, are we going to say the exact same thing? That's so funny. Was it two interceptions? No, he had one interception, but his final line was 15 of 25, 155 yards, 6.2 yards per throw. No touchdowns, one interception, 61.2 pass or rating. As far as last year, did he have any game? We had 155 yards passing or fewer, only one against the Seattle Seahawks in the game that they won. He only had 130 yards passing, but of course, no one will ever tell you that because the Rams were the better team and they dominated the Seahawks, but not in that game offensively.

8:23So I don't think Sean McVeyes lost a game by this much in years. And I wanted to have the tweet work out. It didn't. Mike McDonald's only lost one game in his 10 year by this many points. I don't know, man. What did you think about? Did you think it was just jet lag? What was your thought about Matt Stafford's performance? It's hard to say. It's really hard to say, I don't know. I think I need to be a see. I wish I had a good take on this. But look, the question around this team this year, we've been saying all year, what's the question? Matt Stafford's 38 years old. And guys don't naturally decline in a lot of times. Sometimes guys follow up a clip. So we're going to need to see more. Was he jet lagged? Or is he in danger as a 38 year old quarterback? We don't know. But that was a lingering question around this team. The whole thing was what's the one thing that could injure him.

9:24Some people have talked about his health. But some people said he's 38 years old. So there are a lot of questions. Devote Adams, 34 years old. They don't have a third receiver. They spent their first round pick on a quarterback that couldn't get ahead of sets and Bennett, like a Ruben Bain or another offensive lineman would have been pretty nice tonight. Or maybe they're thinking maybe our quarterbacks washed. Maybe we should have that first round quarterback. But I thought he looked like shit. That was one of the worst games I've ever seen in place. So Dan Erlowski is already putting him ahead of Dan Milino and John L. 25 to 7 and Peyton Manning. He's going to feel pretty stupid because he's been one of the biggest Rams. And look, we don't want to overcorrect one game. I've said more than anything. Week one can trick you. Oh, we're going to have fun with this. This is a shit post. But yeah, like this is not this is not about objective analysis. Yeah, it wasn't fun. It wasn't just that he played bad. His arm strength looked bad. He kind of looked like Geno did last year. Yeah. Can I flip it for one second, though? Like I feel like we I hate to do this.

10:26I feel like we need to give the Niners defense a little bit of credit. They sure they they appeared faster and hungrier than I anticipated tonight. That's totally different. That's a totally different part of this. So this is not I'm not saying that the 49er don't just regret. We can actually talk a little bit about the 49ers. That's that's there were throws. Stafford is made plenty of times against good teams, including the Seahawks that he just wasn't making tonight. And I got it. I got to take from what I saw. They're absolutely going to blame Jetlag and the travel. That's going to be the story that everyone's excuse. That's not what I saw. I saw a team that did not care as much about playing as their opponent. The 49ers were more motivated. Miles Garrett looked disinterested. And this wasn't just when he was on the sideline in the game. I saw plays where he was loathing where he was literally like the play would go by

11:27him and he would just jog. He looks like an LA superstar who is not interested in doing the hard work to be a great player. Anything he's just going to show up and everything's going to be great. I thought that those guys did not look like a team hell bent on being their best. They look like a team that thought they already were the best. This is what I wondered about with the whole media, the national media. Literally doing segments on ESPN a couple weeks ago saying is the NFC the Rams or the field? No one gets talked about like this. Football is such a wide open game. You got to wonder like this. The Shawn Meevay is going to go on 60 minutes to talk about his plan. I don't know what's going on. And so you got to wonder these guys have been hearing their headlines. And yeah, Miles Garrett seemed like he was back in Cleveland tonight on another planet. Maybe he's enjoying the LA lifestyle too much and not really focused on football. He's got two busy working posting workout videos.

12:27But zero stats across the board and he had no impact on the game. Like if I have to see him jump up on one of those bench jump. Maybe we want to pressure the quarterback. You were total zero tonight. I'd be really concerning if I was a Rams fan about that Miles Garrett trade. I would not be at a happy spot right now guys. The body language was bad. I typically shy away from the body language stuff, but it looked bad. It looked bad. If you want to be an alpha level shit poster and hate watcher this year, you want Jared verse to be defensive player of the year. Oh hell yeah. Oh hell yeah. You want Jared verse to just be so good. And you also you want Kansas City Chief's corner backs to look really good on the chiefs. Another guy with one of their guys got posted up by Mike Evans tonight.

13:27Yeah, that's Jalen Watson or Tremick Duffy doing anything. No, no. According to for whatever it's worth, PFF Miles Garrett had one pressure on the night and it was just a hurry. The Rams had seven pressures overall in this game. No sacks. Can we talk for a second about the fact that Kyle Shanahan ran circles around Sean McVeigh. Raheem Morris ran circles around Sean McVeigh. I am sick of this notion that Sean McVeigh is the unquestioned best coach in the NFL. If you have a team with that much talent and you get your ass kicked that badly, you're not the best coach man because coaching isn't just about X's and O's.

14:27It is about getting people psychologically prepared and motivated to play their best football. That team was neither of those things. So I don't know man. I respect which what Kyle Shanahan did. I absolutely do. It's not a good look for Krasula either. Dude, how soon before he fires Krasula? He's going to throw him under the bus. What, two weeks, three weeks if this keeps up? His body language on the sideline did not look good either. By the way. Can you imagine working for McVeigh and having this, like McVeigh is going, like, it's not his fault. It's going to be like, McVeigh will never take responsibility. It's absolutely like Krasula. It's going to be a blood bath. Imagine that I can flight home. Oh my god. That's my home. It's going to be incredible. Was it 14 hours? They said back to LA. It's 16 hours, yeah. 16 hours. Oh my god. I just, I can't, we're talking about it,

15:27but like saying it out loud for my own brain, I cannot believe how unprepared they looked. Week one. Week one. Like you should be most typed, most stoked, most optimistic, most ready to play, most healthy, highest effort, and the original rival. Like what are we doing? The thing with week one is what's really hard to wrap. It's usually like sloppiness or like assignment errors or things like that. It's not guys looking like complete shit. Like when Matt's Stafford and Miles Garrett look like complete shit, that's not typically what you see in week one. You see like sloppy play or timing issues or things like that. But when you watch Matt's Stafford play at any time, you've seen him play his arm strength and the ability to make these throws and you watch that guy play and he could do things that like, no one else can really do. He didn't make a single throw like that tonight. And outside of like them, doming with the three tight

16:29unsets in the run game, they really had very little advantages in the game. You saw very little from Byron Young, very little from Kobe Turner, very little from the secondary. Outside of that one horrible Brock Purti interception, they made very few just difference making plays. And no one really stood up for them. So yeah, there's questions about what they were thinking if they just assumed by showing up they'd win. And you're right, Shanahan kicked his ass. And he's done it before. But that was an L level that the trade for Miles Garrett and then just to get significantly worse in your first game. That's a tough look. How do you think the national media is going to react to this? Like, what do you think it's going to be? Unfortunately, my take and I think Brian said earlier, I think everyone's going to focus on the travel. That's what already is happening. I'm looking at the timeline now. Everyone's questioning their travel plan. I mean, it's the easiest thing. It's the easiest thing.

17:30I don't if this game was played in LA. I think the 49ers still win. I don't know if they win by as much. Agreed. But the reason that they won this game was not because it was in Australia. And it was not because of jet lag. Kyle Shanahan's game plan on offense was freaking awesome. He had screens. The run game was dominant. They had varied run games. They had some trap stuff inside. They had outside zone. They were going all up. They ran the ball down the Rams throat. And if you talk to people, when you ask them, how can you go up against this Rams defense? To a person. They're like, you got to be able to run on it. And Christian McCaffrey, I thought looks faster than he did. He had more burst. Took some big hits. But he had a really nice game. I thought Debo Samuel was a plus for them. I thought that Mike Evans was clutch. I don't think he's very explosive anymore. But made some clutch plays.

18:32And then like DeMarcus Robinson, you know, was that was a huge play. And if I'm looking at this, can I say that the Rams secondary played a good game? No. Can I say that the Rams linebackers played a good game? No. And in fact, both of their starting linebackers left this game with injury. And then their defensive line was a freaking nothing. So don't tell me it's like Australia, or travel plan. That is not why they lost this game. Yeah. And that's the thing that you can really question. It's just travel is part of, you could probably explain something. But the Niders had a really good plan, like Brian said. Early in the game, they had counters just like they would throw a screen at Garrett's side. They would throw quick to Mike Evans. And they had those really good pap. And you got to add in. George Kiddell looked really stiff coming off to the Achilles injury. He was not the impact player.

19:32McCaffrey had eight carries into the third quarter. Outside of the big run, they were using Kaelin Black a little bit more. And the fact that they were just able to consistently move the ball with those quick passes. And look, Shannon had beat them last year with Mac Jones when they were missing a ton of guys on offense. So they have had done a good job historically, like managing Aaron Donald and things like that. They have had this team's number over the years. But yeah, you got to give the 49ers credit. And you got to say the Rams weren't prepared. They had no answers for them on offense or defense. And it's just a really shitty look. And when Miles Garrett doesn't impact the game at all, they don't have a lot of guys who are disrupting from the edge on their own. And that as much as Jared versus the finisher, his power and his ability to blow up run game. That was a big pull in their team tonight. There was a certain anonymous Rams content creator who was giving me the most glorious real time

20:38reactions to the game. Were you watching? Were you watching? I was notified of a certain content stream. So I pulled it up on the side. And let me just tell you, that was close to pornographic levels of enjoyment. That is, it is such an arrogant fan base, guys. They come out of nowhere and they expect. They feel like they deserve it. Like there's no sort of like we earned this. It's a very arrogant culture to that fan base. I don't know how to articulate it well. Well, I think you nailed it. I mean, the five of them that exist, they will come out of the woodwork to tell you why they're the perfect team. And everybody else is terrible. And Sean McLeod, they like the model organization.

21:40I don't think they're the model organization. And I think that like I'm enjoying shit, posting and shit talking. Oh, that's fun. Genuine like swear to God. What Kyle Shanahan did last year with that injured team, what Mike McDonald did with his team. Both were significantly more impressive than what McVeigh did with his. Period. And like I'm not talking about like it was close. It was way more impressive. And so I just think like LA is the media's favorite team. I don't think there's a huge fan base anywhere that loves that team or even like can't wait to watch them, although we enjoy it for other reasons. And you know what? They could still rebound and win the Super Bowl. Siak's lost the first game last year to the 49ers and they won the Super Bowl.

22:41They're like, I get that. But when you have a team that's built up this much before anything's happened and talked over the existing world champs, I'm going to dance on your fucking grave every single scoop of dirt that goes on there. So if they lose two more games, I'm going to have a lot of fun that those two times. They lose 10 more games. It's going to be great. So let's just see. Let's see what these guys got. And I'm looking here. I didn't realize Cam Curl, the safety left with an ankle injury. That's a big injury. I think guys are great player for them. Kevin Dodson went down at the end. I don't know if it was anything serious. I think he walked off. But if these injuries to their linebackers are serious, that now creates a pretty significant hole in that defense. You can target linebackers. And a lot of different ways. So I don't know, man.

23:46That was so fun. That was so freaking fun, dude. It's been a roller coaster a few days for us, as like C-Hawks fans. I feel like from Sam Darnold to potentially being out for the year, to like, oh shit, we're losing week one. To oh shit, we're so back, we won the game. To oh Sam Darnold's back. And he's probably going to avoid IR, is what it sounds like off what Mike said today. To 24 hours later, the Rams just gained a curb stomped out of them. Like this is enjoyable. Drew Locke and Sam Darnold together have combined for fewer intersections and that staffer this year. The Netflix broadcast wasn't particularly good. But I'll say the one thing I really enjoyed, and they did a lot of this, Brian, so you put it out sweet. The shots of Sean McVase faces. And there was like three shots of him. Well, we even have guys who are wondering if he got like Botox

24:46or not. And we've had guys wondering, but his face, after some of those plays, and like Evan tweeted out this picture, the face of him screaming into the place she last year was one of the best sites we'll ever see during a C-Hawk game. But his sour, sad face tonight was in front of him. There were three of them where I was cackling of laughter. And I stopped Brian, put it out a great tweet about what's he going to talk about in 60 minutes. But man, that was so funny. I was having a lot of fun with this sour McVase face. Every time you texted about one of his faces, I was in the middle of trying to rewind to get a picture because like you and I were having the exact same experience man. I was like, oh my god, that face. I got to get a picture of that face. That is going to be something I want to reuse. Can I tell you what the other side of this is for a second, though? Oh wait, Evan looks like you're going to say something. No, I'm listening. I'm listening. I wanted to check David Lombardi's timeline because I wanted to see if he was going to clap back at the Rams

25:47president. I haven't seen that so far. But I do have to share just so you know who David Lombardi still is. He tweeted, remember that a healthy 49ers team beat and statistically dominated the 2025 eventual Super Bowl champion Seattle Siox on the road to open last season. Today's result simply validates what we knew. If the 49ers are healthy, they're probably the NFC West best team. They have the most A list players. That game was kind of his moment. So it is super bowl. This is their super bowl. OK. I'll tell you this. Lombardi's Lombardi's whatever he is. But I really liked the 49ers off season. I liked what they did. I don't know what OSA did today necessarily. But I mean, Fred Warner, Drake Greenlaw, I think Nick Bosa looked better than I expected him to look to be honest.

26:48Coming back, George Kittle looks cooked. He does. George Kittle looks slow. He looked like Travis Kelsey all of a sudden. I don't even think he looks healthy. To be frank, like, I'm not sure he should be playing right now. He didn't look. CMC looked better than last year. Kittle looked a lot worse. Evans looks like a possession receiver. Well, they're a rookie running back. Kill on black or whatever. I thought he looked good. Oh, he looked really good. He had burst. Yeah, he just straight ahead, right? Yeah, I think he was a more dynamic runner than CMC tonight, frankly. Ooh. I do. I disagree with that. I thought he was a good counter punch to CMC. But I don't know if I can. I thought CMC had a really nice game. I mean, he got some hospital balls from. Oh, my God. You got him. He did. Brock Purti tried to get him killed tonight. He basically tried to end his career. Like there were some moments. It was so exciting to give you though. Yeah. Purti was significantly better than Stafford. Yeah, I agree with that.

27:49Although Brock Purti had his fair share of like, there were a couple of throws where I was like, bro, what was that? Like, Trent McDuffy, you know, I know he didn't have a really good game, but, you know, he's two feet away or one foot away from interception early on in the game. But that's kind of pretty in general. I feel like every game he'll have is like a two or three plays. I just leave you like, what the hell is wrong? He's kind of got the Jared Goff thing going. But he's playing well. He played pretty well. Oh, Trevor was playing really well. He was just moving Garrett with ease. Yeah. What do you think it means that Garrett, like, came off the field didn't play? Do you think he's hurt? Like, they were talking about him being exhausted. Like, we were all kind of wondering or kind of clowning that he missed a lot of practice time. And so to just throw an older player into the game and just be like, oh, he can just show up and play. That's not really how this sport works. And he looked gasped at times. Like, he had to come out. He was rotated off the field for like full serieses.

28:50And I don't know, man. I think when you miss that much practice time, it makes a difference. He didn't look like he had any juice at all. You know what would be an amazing, amazing story? What if Aaron Donald comes back? He left and was happy and is ton of dumb with football. And he comes back and he's like, you know, I want to play with Miles Garrett. And then he infects Miles Garrett, who's like, I don't think I really want to play anymore, either. And they both just are mid-season like, deuces. And they just leave the Rams hanging. I just, if I'm Aaron Donald, I'm kind of probably regretting my decision. It's not too late, dude. Like, it's not too late. I see that dude's workout videos and the house he lives in. I would never leave that house. Like, I would never be in public ever. His life looks pretty good.

29:51Are you sure you want to come back and play for this team? This team? That's what we talked about, right? It's one thing, like, Aaron Donald, why did he come back? Because this was going to be a cake walk with the best team in the league, best team ever. Yeah. Super Bowl is going to be at home. But what happens if you decide to come back and have to work and practice and go to team meetings every day? And what happens if the Rams are too and forward to start this season? What's your schedule? What's your schedule? It's really hard to start. Yeah, no, what's their next few games? Like, you guys know this better than me. Next game is home against the Giants. OK, they should win that. They should win that. But it's not like, first of all, I like the Giants more than most. But like, how fun will it be to cheer for Jackson Dart and that, like, meathead running back? And I'm like, that past rush that they've got,

30:53Abdul Carter, maybe Abdul Carter can get bent around an edge and cause some chaos. I'm like, Brian Burns, like, who knows? And then after that, at the Broncos. Danger that. That's like a game. After that, at the Eagles. Wow. After that, home against the Bills. Oh, keep going. Keep going. What's next? After that, it gets easy. They can play home against the Cardinals and after the Tigers. Keep going. Keep going. OK. We got so close. That first five, though, is hellish. I think the end of their schedule is really hard, too. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, they go Packers, Chiefs, 49ers, Cowboys, Seahawks, Buck Seahawks that in the year. Yeah. Yeah. I would take the Eagles over this team the way they look tonight. I might take the Broncos over this team.

31:53And the Bills, I don't know, man, like you telling me Josh Allen couldn't beat that team? I mean, it's going to be. It was going to be. Because I was just expecting the Rams to come out there and look dominant tonight. And it was so far from that. I don't really know how to go around. Totally expected the same thing. Yeah. OK, I'm going to say it. Are they at risk of missing the playoffs? Like, what is that? What is that? I can't put it in the air. Can't just put it in the air. Put it in the air because listen to this. One's the best hate watch season that you can remember recently in like last 10 years. Russ, in Denver. Russ. Yeah, good point. Good point. Russ in Denver. There was like, they were going to be, that was like their final piece. They were going to be really good. We got the number five overall pick. Yeah. That was, it was higher. That was almost three.

32:54Right? So imagine how much better this would be. Now the downside, I don't want them, I don't think I want them to totally tank because if they totally tank, they're going to get a top 10 pick and get a really good draft. Like, no, they will not Brian. That pick is going to cleave it. Oh my God. No, they will not. They don't have a pick for like several years. Oh, then yes. Just, they can't tank this year. Oh my God. Jeff, I could kiss you. That is the best. That was really fun to break that to you. Yes, I forgot all about that. They do not have a first round pick. Oh my God. How much fun would we have if the Seahawks win the division again and the Rams crash and burn? I mean, if they crash and burn, Sean McVay might be done. He might retire from coaching.

33:56I got something for you. I don't know if you guys noticed this. Three minutes to go, three and a half minutes to go. They've pulled Stafford already and they throw a pass to Canada. They've got a mumfield or something and he goes down injured. McVay goes to take off his headset and then he realizes I can't do that and he puts it back on. That is who that motherfucker is. Like that's who he is. Like I haven't worked with you. He quit. Yeah, I haven't worked with you. He quit. He quit. Since that two point conversion thing, Sean McVay is spiraled into this version of himself. He can't get out of. They lost to Atlanta. They should have freaking lost the Carolina. If it wasn't for Ben Johnson, they should have lost Chicago then that for two of his bus thing and the off season, he is and then this, there's a potential spiral scenario here if this goes wrong. He has really been spiraling since that moment and if this season does go wrong to see that

34:56trajectory and I think this is a long, this is the galaxy brain way off here. That moment just him spiraling from there and never be able to recover that adversity. Who would be incredible? Jeff, your mic's a little quiet. I don't know if it's just you got a little, yeah, I was so excited about that first round pick thing. I like probably knocked out my elbow. That was great. I do wonder, I mean, how do you think Sean McVay processes what happened tonight? What's going through his head? Is he sober? No, I'm being dead as serious. I'm not even joking. Like do we? I'm not touching that one. I've had theories on something. I'm not touching that one. Oh my God. Yeah, I mean, it's a really valid question though, Brian. And I didn't mean that. I didn't ask my question in like a mean spirited way. Like I actually wonder what type of state he's in right now.

35:57Is he like thinking about the game constantly? Is he having a few drinks to chill on the plane on the way back? Like, is he trying to unwind? Like what's the vibe? I don't know if this is going to come through. I'm going to try to play his opening remarks. I haven't heard of this. Oh. Oh. But let's let's just read on it. He breathed out. Oh, hell yeah. His opening remarks in. First of all, congratulations to the 49ers. They all played us in every facet. I didn't do nearly a good enough job. This is a humbling day for us. And this will define us only if we allow it to. And today was one of those days. And I always look inside out. I didn't do a good enough job getting us ready to go. There were some opportunities where maybe the game could have flipped. But they deserve the win. They were ready to go. And we'll look at it. We'll see where we can improve and be better moving forward. But this is a good humbling day. This is where what can sometimes happen in sports. I love this locker room. And the first thing that I'm going to look at is myself.

36:57And I have to do a better job for our group collectively with our coaches, with our players. And we'll look at this film. And we'll get back to work. Because clearly, that's obviously what we've got to do. And sometimes sports can humble you. And today was one of those days. I make no excuses. And whether you want to say it's about travel, whatever, we just weren't good enough in that window. I didn't coach good enough. And we'll look at it and we'll move forward. And that's where we're at right now. But it was a great atmosphere. Give credit to the 49ers they deserve it. And we're on one and we'll move forward. Oh my god. I have a very clear takeaway. Holy shit. Does that guy love cocaine? Because oh my god. And I'm not even exaggerating. I didn't want to touch that. I'm feeling careful on air here. Like, you know, you don't know. Allegedly, like as a joke, as a joke. Like, come on guys. Let's go.

37:58I'll just say, to my interest in reaction to that was this guy has been listening to what people have been saying about him that he doesn't take accountability that he blames other people. And he said the words, I don't believe he believes those words. One bit. Like that sounded like somebody saying something. It did not sound like somebody who actually believes it. Yeah, that sounded like PR gave a talking points. I just like his brain is racing like a million miles minute. And like, here's the thing. I kind of get it because my brain like is on that direction. But it's just like hypes. It's like hyper scale. Like just kind of bothered me about him though. It's at the pace he's talking. It's so it's just like, it's just so beyond wired. It's almost borderline concerning to me, to be honest with you.

39:01That was kind of interesting, man. That's kind of interesting. I think someone said there was only a six minute press conference wild. We get some injury information. Adam Shepter says to John Stribbling, or Day John Stribbling has an injured ankle added that his Achilles is intact. Well, that's good news, especially for your fantasy team, Evan. It's cooked already. Don't worry. Where's the injury information, man? Anyone doing their job about asking anybody doing their job? I can't find any injury information. So I'm curious about what's going on with all the injuries that happened in that game. But you know what the highlight of that game was? It was Grant Cone doing his whole Australia tour the whole week before. He's the MVP. He's the MVP of that game. We got a shout out Grant. He was a stud. Grant had, like, he didn't just have one win.

40:05He outperformed the 49ers in Australia. I mean, you got signed. Danny? Did you want to hear Grant's opening statement here? Yes, I do. Let's put Grant on. I mean, I love those guys so much. All right, here's Grant Cone out for you. Sure it's just week one, but that was a huge, huge, big time win for the 49ers over the Rams who were supposed to be the best team in the NFL. I don't think so. The Niners just embarrassed them, emasculated. I'm 27 to 7 in Australia. Brock Purti was incredible. Maybe that's a little strong. But he was really, really, really, really good by far the best quarterback on the field. Three touchdowns, also five scrambles for 30 yards. He looked really, really good out there as opposed to Matthew Stafford, who looked old, tired, slow, old. I mean, he was freaking terrible.

41:06And then there was Kyle Sandin, who was even better. I mean, he put together a run game that gained almost 180 yards on the ground. He completely negated the Rams pass rush. He made Miles Garrett look like a freaking ghost. I mean, wow. From Kai, he used Mike Evans perfectly. He used Debo and Demarcus Robbins. And perfectly, he was overusing Kiddle early and then pivoted away from that. He actually called Moore runs for Kaylon Black and Christian McCaffrey. Like, wow, wow. I have a great influence on Kyle Shanahan. And then it's not perfect for all the offense. I'm like the defense that gave up seven points. How about Erichin Morris? Who I was down on all off season. I mean, the last time the Niders faced Matthew Stafford, he tore him apart at Levi's. This time, seven points. He was awful. Where he Morris freaking owns him. What am I missing? I mean, I'm not saying the Niders are going to win the Super Bowl because they beat the Rams. But I mean, and I'm not saying the Rams won't.

42:06It's week one. They probably should have came to Australia week early. The Niders definitely did the right thing and gave themselves the best chance to win. But I don't know. Anytime you come out here and get embarrassed like that, it's bad. I'm just always imagining like being one of those people like behind him in the context of him recording his video and just being like, what do these people think? Like this guy like talking to this camera, just like screaming, I think it's funny. I love it. He's the best man. He's the best. And you know, you heard what he said about him, Stafford. There's something he said, one thing that we didn't talk about, special teams. Now, it was not the story of this game. But there was, like if you said that the Rams problem was special teams, what you heard from Rams fans was, yeah, but they signed this great special teams free agents. And like they had these like really stupid things. There was no sign that they're special teams. They were getting rocked on every kick return.

43:08They gave up another big kick return to open the second half. Like special teams, 49ers dominated them again. So I don't know, man, like again, there's a lot to like about this game. There's a lot to like. All right, anything else, I think we got some super chats. Let's do those real quick. Yeah, if you guys have anything else, we'll do that. And we'll wrap up here. Milkshake, man, I grew up in Seattle, moved to OZ at 12. I've done the LA Sydney flight 40 plus times in the Rams flight strategy was absurd. Good news for OZ fans like me. When Seattle plays here, they're coming a week early. Hail Baton says so much for the offseason champs. Not one stat play to be found for him. Bugs versus windshield. Puka had more tackles than Garrett's. Drew Locke had the highest QBR in the league in the NFC West. Two things I never thought I'd say. No, you're allowed to apparently do what he did multiple times and not get any repercussions. Michael Panak, Penn Cuck says, what game did you enjoy more? Rams loss or Seahawks win? Now this is a dangerous one. I'll let you guys get in the answer here. For me, I'll just answer for myself. It's more fun watching a game that you have nothing on the line for and hate watching. Like it's more fun because there's nothing stressful. Like I expected the Rams to win. This was a blast. There, this was so much fun. Last night's game was not fun for a lot of it. I was ecstatic when they won and I had a great time there. But like the word fun makes it a little harder. Do I care more about the Seahawks winning or the Rams losing? I care hell of a lot more about the Seahawks winning than the Rams losing.

46:13That's where I'm at. I'm in a similar boat. I would articulate it as I had more joy. I received more joy from last night's win. Yes. But I enjoyed tonight's game more. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that makes sense. I totally make sense. Yeah. Jeff, yeah, from start to finish, we were all kind of laughing and having fun with that game. Seahawks game was a roller coaster. And in the end, you got the jubilation. And Brian, you always talk about you need the lows to get the highest jubilation. But this one is like, spite is such a powerful emotion. Oh, it's an awful. Especially for like the Rams who have been like, if you follow me on Twitter or X or whatever we call it these days, like the Rams have been on my mind for a while. So to see them get just totally punked after the coverage of that team, the way that they've acted, that brought me a ton of joy. But obviously when the Seahawks beat a team with a backup quarterback, they break the other quarterback, the defensive backs we were all worried about ball out.

47:14Like that is a very meaningful game for them. And I thought that was very important. But yeah, I'd say there was no low moments. We were having great time the whole night.
