eight 20 this one and they are right are going to join us on the show be careful we've got there it's still a people without power trees falling on lines and everything I hate got told you guys hate win more than anything have you ever actually been blown almost over it happened to me down in Dayton I was downtown and what was going on the entire state of Ohio there was no traffic because it goes down on the downtown area but I legitimately got blown to the point where my right hand was down on the pavement so it was that close and there was power out everywhere you had a hunker down made out of paper yeah I had to I had to walk well you shouldn't see the the power lines were down in the middle of the city and it happened every day no matter where you were in the state of Ohio I think you were dealing with the winds yeah was that Friday that was Friday was the windy day right yeah Friday was the day that Thursday but it was it was rough all the way around it sucked I I hate it and gusted so loud like it woke me up in the middle

of the night it was gusting so loud the roof came off that building and chill in New Philadelphia this terrible it is to know the west side there was a gazebo on a roof in Parma that went like somebody lost their gazebo I remember one day we used to have a trampoline in North Ridgeville and I thought I had that thing taken down those things can get to messing heights I mean I'm not lying to you it was I set the thing up first off it was a pain in the ass to set up I had that thing set up for like 30 minutes and there were no trees in our yard North Ridge was a big ass yard I remember and we had no trees in that yard there was like a couple but they were like like kind of sad trees and I was inside I was like I don't you know I got some things to do I go out and I'll put it down later and I mean I turn around and I just saw it rolling I go you got to be kidding me man you got to be bleeping kid I'm like running over to the neighbor's yard like wrangling it

in and like doing like the the push from American gladiators to try to get it back in the yard and then drag it back over to where it's supposed to go I go these damn kids better like the thing is this thing sucks what I'm sure there were some parties this weekend where people are like all right we rented the bounce house but this is not the weekend someone's like oh no no no no no what's the big deal I see one story's enough you see that stuff no way no no you just laugh at it every time you see it on the news I know I will laugh at it as long as you as long as you tell me had a time a these kids were okay because when I see that thing no bounce house 300 feet in the air and you tell me the kids are fine no spring bounce house it is something to behold no spring bounce houses it's just a terrible terrible idea that your platform yeah what you're running on yeah well I run for when I run for Congress some day no spring bounce houses unless they're indoors because it's a scary situation I don't relax for the love of God more on that coming up at 8 20 with

a dangerous one Darryl writer anyway it's the first big step to the quarterback to the Browns this fall whoever that may be free agency it was written on CBS sports.com and ESPN as a win for Shadore Sanders did you find free agency oh I have to be a win for Shadore did you find it to be a win for the Browns quarterback room in general it was a huge what I don't I can't say for the quarterback room because they did not improve the quarterback room so until further notice well the quarterbacks in the room is probably a win for for yes for Shadore Sanders a massive win because let's face it if they brought in Malik Willis that would have been a big time loss they didn't so you know keep right now right now he I would it's funny everybody nationally says Shaw Watson says to lose because they remember to show Watson from five years ago we've seen him more recently well sex as anybody says that's an idiot I know the quote but he says yes but seems like that's what everybody's saying but you and I are kind of on the same page or like no I mean they want to show Watson they want to win yeah until further notice right like let's see because

there's still time and when did they bring in Joe Flacco last year I think the people very very late the people who are from a national perspective I just don't think that they have boots on the ground to understand you know how the city may feel about it I I think it's the opposite I really do think it should or is job to lose and I think it was a good free agency for him where you have new people coming in on the offensive line out there are going to be better than what you assume your old offensive lines going to be nice I I specified earlier in the show the challenges that are laid out for George war hop to get these guys playing in the right to right direction get these guys all on the same page you have new free agents because you can go one of two ways obviously you could have a real bad offensive line when you bring them up and free and see you can have a decent one I don't know if you're going to have one that's just automatically becomes a top 10 offensive line in the NFL and if you're not a top it really if you're not a top five offensive line most fans just think their offensive lines are terrible if they're not well known as one of the best offensive lines in the NFL it's so dreadfully important and I love

proving people wrong about where they sit on offensive lines when they try to tell me it's not important some still do in 2026 it's going to be important for Shedore Shedore's used to run for his life he had to do it in Colorado he had to do it to some certain degree last year I want to see him with a little bit more time but those who are outside of Cleveland I just don't think they understand how the fan base feels about the entire quarterback room again you can be annoyed that we we talk about Shedore Sanders you can be annoyed that the conversation swings easily during free agency like he signed with the with the sea are the Vikings now but you can be annoyed that Kyler Murray gets brought up in two and Malik Willis and et cetera et cetera et cetera the organization I do feel from top down once Shedore to win the job I think he goes in as the favorite to win the job with the organization they think so much easier what for everybody involved what the national media doesn't understand though is part of that reason is that fans don't want to see the other guy

they just don't want to see the other guy and that's part of that reason like we we play a promo for Nick and Jonathan right before this this segment started and they're talking a lot of 2027 yeah I think a lot of people might be thinking of 2027 going all right let's see we have with this QB room let's see we have with Shedore let's let's let's let's see if he can with a proper camp and proper OTAs can he be the guy that can lead us forward or are we looking in 2027 I think that's the way a lot of people feel that this thing's going to go the national perspective I think they just look and they remember exactly what you said the guy that that was there six years ago that was a great player the guy that was traded for three first round picks the monies that still offered to him and I mean there's a physical prowess there I mean he is a physically imposing figure at six three six four and they're looking at bigger body let's face Shedore Sanders has let's face it they're looking at Shedore is a fifth round pick who had some of the worst numbers and that too that a rookie has had in a few years in the NFL so you're going to pick anybody over that if we're talking week one though I think your leader right now is going to

be Shedore I can't guarantee it's going to be an entire season though I mean Todd Munkins he has to win games but I think that Shedore Sanders is going to be given every opportunity he can to win this game but win this year or win the shop the thing that I'm most worried about is that and I think that he's he's here a lot I know he's in the building a lot so he's trying to put his best foot forward once you get into those drills and the settings of knowing the offense and figuring out where to go there's still going to be some growing pains but what direction is a six-year-old first-time head coach going to want to go if one guy has a better grip of the offense if one guy might have any bit of his physicality back to what he had before you're which way to see when to go you know for people who say why don't want anybody involved other than the head coach are you sure you want to do that because if the head coach decides to make a decision for winning now he might not pick your guy like I don't think it's a 100% Shedore ends up being the starter week one I just think that he is he is definitely without it out the leader that they want to give

the job to yeah and I don't I don't know you talked about like how secure that would be I think whoever starts at quarterback this year unless they make a significant investment into that which you never know I doubt it at this point because they didn't go Kyler Murray they didn't go Malik Willis or anything like that and I know Murray would not have been a significant investment in terms of the money but just that stature and who it is and everything um they probably have what five six games basically right at the brown start out one and four one and five whoever is starting is getting bench I think you're trying to go months as any question I think you're trying to go month to month like if you're Todd Munkin as of right now unless they go do something pretty strong in the draft and I just don't think they're going to do that unless they go and they do something pretty strong in the draft or somebody elevates themselves past I think it I think publicly it's his job I think privately you're kind of month to month on it after the season starts Mike and Frisco Texas your first up on the fan yellow hey guys are just got in the car and the first thing I heard

was was a free agency a win for the quarterback room and I got to say absolutely not um and all the quarterback talk I know that's the you know the prime position team uh but man we're building an offense align with D graded players we're going to have the sort of offense align that Joe Burroughs had in Cincinnati or the offense line to made Andrew Luck retire early it doesn't matter who we put a quarterback I mean just because we went and got guys there by celebrate I'm here and people drink in the cool eight last last week like oh Andrew Berry likes you know the flexibility well to play left or right tackle we might not been on the offense line guys Mike I see I just because I and I I'm not like that I did not go overboard and and start saying Super Bowl Super Browns because of what they did on the offensive line but I'm not going to go the other way either I'm not going to say and Mike thank for the call I don't think that these guys are going to suck out loud right off the rip I gotta I gotta see it I gotta see it in camp I gotta see it when the season starts that's the only thing you can do is kind of hope and if you have no trust in

Andrew Berry whatsoever I understand what's how little hope that's going to be but I'm not going to go and if that makes me a little bit more boring about it than fine but I just can't subscribe to this thing is going to be incredible this is going to be a much better offensive line teams do not set out to have to replace four fists and possibly five fists of their offensive line in free agency so that's a very big risk and so it's not like it's 4d chess laser eyes Berry because he'd rather have some guys that he drafted that are still involved in there that's not what it is but I just don't know if it's going to suck out loud to the point where this thing's going to be an unmitigated disaster because of what they've done in free agency I still don't know yet I gotta get more evidence before I start to draw a conclusion one way or the other and again even when you bring up it's it's got to be easily the biggest mystery that they have going into the season because even when you bring up the head coach there's plenty of people that are on the internet on pff who question him and then any player loves them thinks that he's the best I tend to go with players on this because I want to because I want what's best for the team coming

up next should I tear up my QB draft sheet and whether I should be panicking about the calves I've got to ask Darryl that question the dangerous one Darryl Ryder five minutes away on the fan
