To me, the only way that I find myself in a purgatory if they win seven or eight games is with not even Malik Willis. I think that you can go, hey, he's, he only started six games in four years, only two games last year. But hey, we don't have a whole lot to work with. He was able to do a good job. We could continue to build again. I got draft picks. I'd feel that way with Kyla Murray or Dishon Watson. If you want seven or eight games with even Shudor Sanders, I don't think I'd feel that way.

5:11Go, hey, man, you still want seven or eight games here. So clearly, if you're winning seven or eight games with this team, I'll care about strength of schedule. You win seven or eight games with this team. I think you've made some progress. So you're fine with seven or eight wins as long as it's Shudor. As long as it means something. As long as it means something. As long, make, tell me before I get to the phones, why winning seven or eight games with Kyla Murray will mean something. I'm not fighting. Yeah, I want to know because I think that he is in a position seven years deep into his career, seven, eight years deep into his career. He's he's in a reset inflection point. And he's shown that he can he can be explosive as a quarterback. This is a guy that regularly completes over 65% of his passes. Two to one, touchdown to interception ratio and can throw for 3,500 guys with his eyes closed. Name me a lot of browns quarterbacks. Today, I will put up those kind of numbers. Brandon Wien with Josh Gordon. Derek Anderson with Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow, Jr.

6:14Okay, five Joe Flacco in five games. Have a good run. Put for tat. But but like so so for so for me is I look at Kyla Murray is potentially and I stress potentially because I don't know. He could potentially be one of these NFL reclamation projects. You and I both know it's a copycat Lee. Sam Arnold just won a Super Bowl. Seattle, right? You know, Seattle better organization than us. Of course, okay. I can name 31 other organizations. So why so how are we going to be the organization that fixes him? See, when you say potentially, I go, yeah, they're all they're all potentially even Dylan Gabriel who is above Malik Willis on this pie chart. They're all potentially because you can't run up the white flag. A surrender and just say, well, we've been a terrible organization since 1999 and just be like, wow, you know what? I can't just take the chance. No, I got to try to find out. You're right. I can't just sit here and bitch. I got to find a way to build. You got to keep taking the swings at it. You just watch it and listen. You're right. I do as much complaining as that one about the situation,

7:15but you got to keep taking swings. I don't want to have as much confidence as I can. And I've admittedly, I've never been a Kyla Murray fan. Even coming out of college, I didn't like Kyla Murray. I will admit that there is, there is a history where I just never really cared for him. There's the story about they had to put the claws in his contract to make sure he's doing homework and stuff. And I'm going, how is the Browns when you give me that? See, that is the biggest red flag to me. I know. We're talking about a guy who's not even committed to the craft of being a franchise quarterback, which I think it's proven and it doesn't have to be Tom Brady for crying a lot. That's the most extreme example. But you have to be obsessed to be a franchise quarterback. You have to be so driven. And that's why I don't want Anthony Richardson. We are not, but we are also not the franchises that they're in big Kyla Murray to be committed to being a great quarterback here. See, that's not why I, and that's part of the reason why I'm not in on Kyla Murray. I get it. Shedore, we'll find out. DeShawn, I think we already know. But again, I don't want to sit here and find myself struggling to build for all these other guys.

8:17I can't say that 2027 is going to find us the perfect QB and we're going to set sale and everybody's going to be happy, but it gives me a little bit more, it gives me something look forward to more than, than this, than the other possibilities that are there with the exception of Malik Willis. Your best path forward this year is this Shedore Sanders shows he can do this thing. And you win, and you win anywhere from 68 games. Clearly, that is your absolute best case scenario. Okay, that's, and that's even with Kyla Murray came in here in one 68 games to your point, you're in purgatory. If DeShawn Watson goes out there and you win 68 games this year and the final year of his contract, you're in purgatory because now you have a decision to make there, right? I don't think you have to worry about Dylan Gabriel taking the field and winning 68 games. That just isn't going to happen. That's fantasy land. But Malik Willis, if you give him 30, well, I think it's going to be closer to 25 million, but you give him 25 million dollars a year, he goes out there and wins 68 games,

11:19To me, and I've said this from the get go, I am all about using this year to see if Shadork can do this thing. I can't argue against it. I can argue for it. I think that there's something to be said about that. But you know, I wasn't in the team meetings last year. And if you fall flat on your face and you win three games, next season with Shadork is your quarterback. And maybe if Dylan's still here, you go back to him at some point, then you just, you have the answer to the test, right? You can't do it. We absolutely have to draft a quarterback in 2027. But if you win six to eight games, you're not going to be in position to have a, a, a top three pick to get one of those top quarterbacks. It's going to be harder because you're not probably not getting an extra 2027

12:23first round pick by trading down from six. I know there was a lot of people rooting against the Sean Watson. A boy would be a hell of a lot of easier if he'd have just worked out. I think if you play 17 games, you probably win about eight or nine, three or four look like Tennessee, three or four look like garbage. Well, you win eight or nine. He's got to play really well. Because you still have two more years. You still have this year and next year on offense, where you build, and then you set sail with some of those guys in year three, like we've seen with with this defense. I'm sorry. Continue, Paul. Yeah, yeah. And I have, you know, that that fake, the brown state or whatnot, but we have a division that has issues. Whether if it's contracts with big players or new coaches,

And this is because you had a last place offensive line, last place, why receiver and no running game. That's what kind of happened last year. Yet, your door was able to win, you know, a few games, especially at the year against the vision opponents who were trying to win the team rallies form, whatnot. You know, and Calamari, do I really want to bring in a five, nine bad example who always hurt and you played in Arizona? And this is the AFC North. I mean, you're taking reps away from the shot and your door in a new offense. Well, I'm not interested in any reps. Did Sean at this point, but that's just me. Yeah, but yeah, but you know, it's a new, it's still a new offense. So why would I do that and bring in that guy? I mean, I'm not the biggest, I'm not the Calamari, you know, hater, but no means I enjoy him, but not here for Cleveland. We could set up for 20, 27, so right. The Sean will be off the books. We have a fifth round, you know, contract with a quarterback.

14:28And we could go get our major quarterback and we have a better offensive line, better wide receiver form. We forget that, you know, which record is coming back from a shattered leg and should door had to lead us in running, rushing real four games. You know, why would I, why would I team couch another quarterback here and take away those time and reps and just and do those things? You have an opportunity here because let me tell you the Ravens, new contract, Lamar's, I mean Lamar's contract is a purgatory. He's a new head coach. The Bengals have half a billion dollars wrapped in four players. And none of them are in on the line. And the Steelers has a new coach and Aaron Rodgers.
