Psalms Wrap Up: Bible Study for Atheists

Husband and Wife recap the Book of Psalms —

a collection of poems, hymns, and prayers that may be regarded as a kind of epitome of the entire range of the Hebrews' religious life. Most of the Psalms are attributed to David, which is obviously bullshit because the pieces were collected over a thousand-year period. Our moods in this book ranged from boredom to mildly annoyed to extremely disgusted. While there were a couple of nice psalms and some beautiful verses, overall, we are just not fans.
