Psalm 116: Thanksgiving for Deliverance from Death. Starts, "I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice." The psalm draws heavily from other psalms, so much so that it has been referred to by some as a "patched-up psalm." This seems to be a running theme, when recalling that there's also a psalm referred to as "the borrower," and given that each psalm kinda sounds the same.

Psalm 117: Praise for the LORD's Merciful Kindness. Starts, "O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people." Psalm 117 is the shortest psalm and also the shortest chapter in the whole Bible. If every chapter of the Bible was laid out in a row, regardless of what book it falls in, and forgetting OT versus NT, Psalm 117 is the exact middle. After three years, we've finally hit the middle chapter! Additionally, this psalm forms the introduction of the 90s pop song Happy Nation by Swedish pop group Ace of Base.

Psalm 118: Thanksgiving for the LORD's Salvation. Starts, "O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good." Psalm 118 is the last of the Jewish Hallel prayers. Also, Verse 8 pinpoints the exact middle if every verse of the Bible was laid out in a row, regardless of what book it falls in, and forgetting OT versus NT. Thus, this episode truly represents the very middlest of our Bible-reading endeavor!
