• Five candidates are vying to be the Democratic nominee in the solidly blue congressional district in Florida. All of the candidates are black, except Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz. The other candidates are arguing that the seat was held by a Black lawmaker for more than three decades and should be represented by someone who shares their experiences.
• Former Vice President Kamala Harris wants everybody to brainstorm how to change everything about how the American Constitutional system works.
• Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., said she has received death threats for "doing my job" and meeting with foreign ambassadors about Cuba’s fuel shortages and U.S. sanctions.
