Nick Reed 09.09.26 - New Redistricting Map Back on Ballot

0:00There's been a number of developments regarding the new redistricting map that was drawn in Missouri. And of course, it's getting a lot of attention because up until now, virtually every single state that has done a redistricting has been given thumbs up by the courts. Now, there may have been roadblocks along the way, but ultimately, and even up to some Supreme Court decisions, a Supreme Court has said, yeah, this is legit. I mean, you may not like it, Democrats, but they're playing within the rules. And of course, the biggest problem that Democrats have had is like a lot of things, pre-Trump, Republican self-imposed rules upon themselves, Democrats did not. So Democrats were playing by a set of rules that allowed them a great advantage. And one of the changes that has happened within the Republican Party due to Donald Trump is saying, you know, we don't have to handcuff ourselves.

1:06If they're going to play this game, then we're going to play this game as well. And so for the first time, you had a Republican response to Democrats' gerrymandering over the generations, I was going to say decades, but it's been generations. The term gerrymandering itself goes back to, I think it's the mid-1800s, maybe even further back than that. So, of course, the media and the Democrats have tried to convince you that this is something that Republicans made up under Donald Trump. Of course, the fact that the term gerrymandering has existed well beyond any of our birds. I mean, there's no one alive on this planet today that was alive before that term came about. Just highlights the absurdity of this claim that it's something Donald Trump invented, unless he's got a time machine, but I don't think any of us believe that. Well, along comes Missouri, and somehow it seems appropriate that of all of the states, Missouri is the one that has a roadblock thrown in its way regarding success that would benefit the voters that are overwhelmingly in the state Republican, vote Republican.

2:25So, the problem is created is the Missouri Supreme Court said, well, you can't use that new map, and Republicans were noting, well, the problem is we've already used that new map in the primaries. So, I mean, you're going to create a mess here because you're going to have, you're literally changing the ballot for people. You're telling people who participated in as voters. The primary under one map, suddenly they no longer get to participate in voting in that same map that they have to switch. And the effort was all the way to the Supreme Court and representative Bob Under led the lawsuit. He noted that it was really a startling act of judicial supremacy by the Missouri Supreme Court. Under said of the state's high court ruling in an interview with the Post, this was on Monday.

3:26He noted the court took the unprecedented action of trying to change a congressional map after primary voters had already voted. After 1.2 million primary voters, in Missouri had chosen their candidates Republican and Democrat and Libertarian and Green for the general election and doing so they effectively disenfranchised 1.2 million Missouri. Incidentally, his notation of voters in different parties here should not go unnoticed. While this is seen by the political parties as a win for Democrats and a loss for Republicans, he noted here that it's every one of voters that was affected by this. These aren't redrawn districts that you've got two different maps being used in the same election that only affected Republicans. Every Democrat voter is affected by this as well. Every Libertarian voter is affected by this. Well, there was this decision by the Supreme Court to essentially not take this up.

4:28Now that being said, Gateway Pundit has a story that throws a wrench into all of that. I'm waiting to see if any of the other outlets pick it up oddly enough. I'm not finding that. Doesn't mean the course that it's not going to come down the pike this morning. But I want to share with you the light because apparently the new map is going to, according to Gateway Pundit, be back on the ballot. That this decision by the Missouri Supreme Court is being halted by a federal judge. So I want to share that with you coming up. There's also been some new revelations. I know there's so much focus on the Clancy trial. And you got these three women jurors out there, dog and on the loan holdout, complaining about him. And for a lot of people, their entire presentation of personality is a little bit validating as to what they figured was going on. That is a bunch of seemingly bitter white liberal women.

5:30Just on the surface, that's the way that many Americans are perceiving that whole makeup there. But at the same time, being overshadowed is our new revelations about the Carmelo Anthony case. This is the black guy that went in and murdered the white guy at a kid or teenagers at that track meter football game in the tent. And then he was found guilty. And somehow this was a great travesty. He we were told should have been allowed to kill a white guy because he's a black guy. And you don't know what it's like to be a black guy in Missouri. And there are interesting parallels between the rationalization for him to be able to murder people and those who rationalize. Clancy being able to murder her own children. This perspective that these are categories of people be they women with hormones or black people, particularly black men.

6:31Don't have the ability not to murder people. That's the cultural justification for defending these individuals. It turns out, though it did not make it to trial. Carmelo Anthony wasn't the otherwise perfectly healthy young student on his way to a promising future after all. Instead he was a abuser of women, specifically his girlfriend. He threatened people constantly. He went into great detail about attempting to murder people. This is a guy that by all resume markers was on his path to killing someone. And at the same time his family is coming under a little bit of scrutiny because they're just raking it in through go fund me. Raking the dollars in. And I guess that some of these revelations are being overshadowed because of the other case it's going on.

7:36I wanted to share some of it with you, including some homophobic comments. This is an interesting cultural clash because all of the people that are, I don't want to say all of the people, culturally speaking, much of his support comes from the left. And apparently many of his postings and text messages showed that he was quite homophobic and racist as well against black women. So those on the left that have been writing checks or donating money wondering exactly how they're going to, how it is that they're going to rectify this in their mind that they have been donating money to somebody that is a racist and a homophobic. The upcoming elections in Missouri we've got back and forth November election of course. It specifically impacts the congressional districts on a federal level.

8:39And there was a new map that was created and passed and then it was used for the primary and the selection cycle. The there were efforts to do away with that map. The Missouri Supreme Court was like, yeah, you have to use the other map because some people want to petition it. That's where the disagreement was the state of Missouri was arguing that the petition process does not allow for interference. There's not the allowance of using the participant or the that petition process when it comes to drawing up congressional maps. And so that was the point of disagreement there and the Supreme Court's like, yes, they can. And the problem of course was, well, we've already used that map in this election cycle. And so for the purposes of this upcoming election, people have voted in the primary. Now you're going to put some of those people in all new congressional districts. And so the people they voted for in the primary aren't even going to be on their ballot. This is going to wreak havoc. Brett Kavanaugh said we're not going to take it in terms of the Supreme Court.

9:39And I did find there are actually numerous articles that I had last night saw one on Gateway Pundit. But roll call has a piece that is follow up to the Supreme Court decision. The federal judge has ordered Missouri to use the map. That is the new map. So we're back to the new map again. The one that if you voted in August in the primary, that is the map that will be used. Again, this affects the US congressional races. So this is what is in question. This is what the redrawing is all about. The roll call reporting that a federal court in Missouri ordered the state to use the GOP preferred congressional map Tuesday following a state court ruling that would have asked the plan for the fall. The ruling from Judge Clark for the US district court for the Eastern District of Missouri came minutes after Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh declined to get involved in the matter. Clark ruled that despite a state Supreme Court ruling that the map passed by the legislature in 2025 was not legal, the state must use it anyway.

10:44Ruling in favor of Republican rep Bob Onder, Clark wrote that allowing elections to go forward on the 2022 map would effectively disenfranchise voters as the primary was already held in August. The deadline for finalizing the state's ballot for November is Tuesday, Clark wrote, which was yesterday. Quote using a different map for the general election would wreak havoc on the fairness and orderlessness of Missouri's congressional elections, calling into question the candidacy of was nominated in the primaries and the votes of those who voted in the primaries widespread voter confusion would inevitably follow. Under another's brought the lawsuit in federal court after the state Supreme Court ruled last week and then it's just giving the background on it. So as it stands now, the order is for the the new map to be used, which will be consistent with the map that was used for the primary election for this election cycle.

11:51That's where things stand as of now. Coming up, I want to share with you new revelations regarding Carmelo Anthony. This has been overshadowed by the Clancy trial, Carmelo Anthony was the black guy who fatally stabbed a white guy at a sporting event. And there really wasn't a great deal. The similarities here are pretty interesting with the Clancy case. There really wasn't any disagreement over as to whether he did it or not. It was was he justified. Now Clancy's like I was insane. Whereas Carmelo Anthony, at least the cultural defense has largely been, well, you don't know what it's like to be black in America. And he was in a tent filled with white people. And so he just couldn't control himself. I mean, that was essentially the argument that that was made.

12:51And what we've got here is this continued evolution of a cultural mindset in which certain categories of people. And it may be not so much have the right to murder other categories of people, but can't help it if they do. So they get a free pass. The interesting thing about it is it plays into liberal stereotypes or sorry, it plays into what liberals claim are false stereotypes. But now those very liberals are using those stereotypes. For example, women are hysterical. They can't control their hormones. That's what liberals are saying about the Clancy situation. And she couldn't help it. She should not be held responsible because she's a woman with hormones and women can control themselves. The defenders of Carmelo Anthony, he couldn't help himself. He's a black guy and you don't know what it's like to be a black guy surrounded by white people.

13:54And so he couldn't help himself. Those are the arguments, particularly the latter, that Margaret Sanger used as justification for forming Planned Parenthood in order to commit essentially genocide regarding black people, sterilizing them, preventing them from having children. Because they were individuals that could not control themselves. And they were a scourge on society. This is yes, the great Planned Parenthood. We have one right here in Springfield. That is the history of that organization and the purpose, one of the many purposes. She spoke of this. She wrote of this. She spoke before clan organizations on this. As you can imagine, they welcomed her with open arms and her belief in her ideology. It is fascinating to watch the left use, the stereotypes that they have long laid upon people as who used them as racist, as bigots, as some of the most horrible people in our culture yet they are the ones now promoting those very things.

15:02There have been new revelations about Carmelo Anthony specifically. This is what I want to talk about. And he apparently wasn't the otherwise perfectly nice and sweet young man that he was portrayed as being. This is somebody that by all accounts was primed and said it was just a matter of time before he murdered someone. There has been 75 pages of new information released to the public regarding the case against Carmelo Anthony who had been sentenced to 35 years in prison for murder. It was never released to jurors. This was information that wasn't even seen by the jurors. It was part of a quote, gentlemen's agreement between prosecutors and his defense team. The prosecutors apparently felt that I mean there really wasn't any question as to whether he did it. So this information background information about Anthony wasn't something that was necessary.

16:02According to prosecutors, Anthony repeatedly threatened people with shooting them. Discussed robberies was accused of assaulting his own girlfriend, talked about bringing weapons to school and appeared in photographs and videos holding firearms. One video cited by prosecutors allegedly showed Anthony pointing what appeared to be a gun towards a house before running away. There also messages attributed Anthony's describing what happened when he became angry, saying when I get mad I see red and when I get mad I black out. When I get mad I can't control myself. When I get mad my eyes change color. Those messages were sent more than a year before the confrontation with Metcalf that ended in murder the same December exchange allegedly included Anthony describing an assault on someone who had posted online about smoking his cousin. Anthony wrote he posted where he was at and we pulled up in Godam according to the filing. By May 2024 according to prosecutors the rhetoric had escalated into explicit threat involving guns.

17:10I'm shooting her he wrote about one woman then came an alleged threat against his own girlfriend Valeria Torres Perez. Quote how many bullets you want coming out of your chest he posted to her. Six days later prosecutors said Anthony threatened her again I'm I'm a beat your blank. It didn't stop there the filing alleged that Anthony made additional gun threats that September use the phrase gun in the head discussing cutting someone's break lines and later referencing shooting something up gloves rope and getting his hands on a switch. November 24 video allegedly showed Anthony holding what appeared to be a firearm then came January 4th of 2025 according to the court filings a video from that day appears to show Anthony aiming what looks like a gun towards a residence before running away. The allegations continued to pile up as the date of Metcalf's killing approach. Prosecutors noted that Anthony discussed committing robberies in January he was suspended for fighting in February that same month he discussed buying a gun and extended magazines and separately discussed carrying a firearm.

18:20Then less than a month before Metcalf was killed prosecutor said Anthony sent his girlfriend one of the most disturbing messages in the file. I'm a blanking gonna murder you your friends gonna die show them this the further notice alleged that Anthony assaulted Perez on March 14th and threatened her with a deadly weapon less than two weeks later. Then came April 2 hours before Anthony stab Metcalf. Torres Perez the girlfriend reportedly went to school staff accusing Anthony of stalking her she said he had been driving past her house and refusing to accept the end of their relationship. Meanwhile shortly before 1 a.m. that morning Anthony sent a message saying I'm low key on the verge roughly 35 minutes later he repeated and emphasized it. The Colin County jury rejected Anthony self defense argument in June convicted him of murder was sentenced to 35 years in prison some of the other text messages that he sent to his girlfriend is how much he hated black women.

19:30Then quote I blanking despise black blank referring to women in an unflattered flattering term. He also according to the documents texted blanking inward they need to go die yes this is Carmelo Anthony. In a separate homophobic rant about gay people in June of 2021 Anthony told one friend these blanking gay people are blanking everything up. He also said he hated then President Joe Biden because he was a gay it gets to the point you can't even really read any of it over the public airwaves. I think the racist and homophobic component to this is interesting given that the vast majority of his supporters are people on the left. And how they feel about donating dollars to someone who now the beating his girlfriend thing I mean we find that when it comes to domestic abuse Democrats embrace those individuals so that isn't going to be too problematic.

20:32It's more of the homophobic component here that might be problematic for some of those who have donated to his defense. There's a story in the New York post about a number of professors out of California that are openly urging students to get ready for war and attack ICE agents. Cal State L.A. Pan African Studies professor Melina Abdullah. And AC Santa Barbara Associate Professor of History butch where we're both slam for their aggressive comments in the last few days of Dula a BLM activists which of course were part of the so called summer of love in which there were riots and murders that resulted in billions of dollars worth of damage. But otherwise we're mostly peaceful. Spoke at the law defense a Dell Pueblo summit Sunday ranting about ICE agents hotel address during a segment on guerrilla warfare tactics.

21:35So these people are openly having conferences on how to carry out actual war tactics against law enforcement in the United States of America. She said quote the ICE agent who we got on good authorities right down the road at the blank his name is blank and will show you a picture of his pig blank. She continued sometimes if you don't do this blank you see the devil right there blank him up she repeated her first statement adding the exact address of his hotel blank him up blank it up I'm sorry I'm already on the mother blanking list. She told audience members to read a book by black guerrilla family co-founder George Jackson in order to study guerrilla warfare. Black guerrilla families a black power prison gang associated with the black panthers the law defense Dell Pueblo summit. Abdulla was speaking at convened to unite diverse sectors of society and defense of civil liberties democratic rights immigrant communities and all people targeted by police of repression and exclusion.

22:47Article three project founder Mike Davis along with several other political figures called for Abdulla to face reprecations for comments this woman must face federal charges terrorist threats against a federal officer if this animal isn't in federal custody by the end of the week I don't even know what we're doing here frankly this is justification to raid the entire event and lock all of them up said one New York City Council woman by the name of Vicki Paladino. All of these there's a connection between the two cases we talked about earlier in the show it's the Clancy case the Carmelo Anthony case and then this particular situation with these two left wing professors. They are promoting a culture that is increasing in this country of people who believe they are in a category that have the right to murder other people.

23:49There's been this long discussion about whether or not we are going to descend into a civil war. And we oftentimes we know what we know is so when we say civil war our own history with the civil war is you had governments of different states dividing up and saying okay well where we're going to move away from we're going to secede away from the United States of America we're going to form our own confederacy and you can't stop us come and try and then guns. We're going to fight the armies and fighting right so you had the government controlled militaries that were fighting against one another. So when you understood that context of civil war became very easy to dismiss the idea of there being another civil war if that's your vision of it.

24:54But when you listen to the leaders of some of these cultural pockets they are openly and actively encouraging people to murder those that they deem unworthy of society. It is a sort of cultural civil war that is being led by people that are encouraging those on their side to murder those that are the enemy. Whether it is the supporters of Clancy who are arguing in our society that if you are a mother you should be allowed to kill your children and by the way the abortion component comes into this as well. People who believe that you should be able to murder your own children because you're the mom. So they just sort of decided that this isn't biblical this isn't any sort of position that is grounded in any moral authority they just decided that here's a category of person moms.

26:01Here's the category of persons their own kids and we've decided this one should be able to kill this one. This isn't a new concept and we're all familiar with Hitler and Germany and the Jews and all these different moments in time that's one that really stands out. But in which there are people that just determine where superior we have the quote right to eliminate you because we have determined that you're detrimental to our society. You are detrimental to our particular lifestyle. So you've got the movement that encourages mothers to kill their own children. You have not just unborn but with Clancy that are alive. And saying listen she can't help it she's a woman this is what women do suddenly the left knows how to define a woman.

27:01If it's for the purposes of killing her own children they fully now recognize what a woman is. You look at the Carmelo Anthony case in the justification of his killing of a white guy because he's a black guy he can't help it. Black guys got to kill white people because of all the horrible things white people have done they are privileged. This is all this is all DEI concept stuff. I mean I think it's very clear what the left has done in terms of the Jewish population in this country and it's just a continuation of the socialist belief in Germany and what the German socialist workers party aka Nazis did in their perspective of Jewish people and the socialist of today in this country said that hasn't really changed much. Now we've got professors, theming people in law enforcement people that are of border control.

28:04These are people that should be eliminated and openly encouraging it. These aren't some secret back room discussions that are occurring with a handful of close friends who are radicals and smoke and pot. I mean we're talking about open conferences that they stream they videotape for distribution. There's an article regarding TPUSA and it sites one university in particular and how in the immediate aftermath after the left assassinated Charlie Kirk there was a big up swing in people joining turning point USA because they for the first time actually heard what Charlie Kirk was talking about. They were very inspired by the love and compassion and the messaging that they saw there and so you had this real uptick of people interested in and joining and starting new chapters of turning point USA.

29:13But that has really fallen off and the reason that so many students are asked about this that would like to participate in and they're afraid for their lives. They look around them and they see people on the left openly celebrating the anniversary of Charlie Kirk's assassination. They see people that are openly talking about picking off people who agreed with Charlie Kirk and all that this is considered perfectly acceptable by an entire political party and a medium this country. But at the same time if you dare point this out you're called racist you're called you know everything under the sun and then we're told well this is a both sides problem that really didn't exist until Donald Trump came along. I have been noting for years when we began seeing the little particularly with the assassination attempt of Brett Kavanaugh after Chuck Schumer stood on the Supreme Court steps and you know threatened you won't know what hits you if you dare touch Roe v Wade and then the result of course you had rioters.

30:35Outside the homes of Supreme Court justices which is a violation of federal law and merit garland the attorney general at the time under the Biden administration told federal marshals let him do it let him break the law. Why well because it was the bad guys were the good guys there the bad guys the laws are meant to stop the bad guys not the good guys so we don't have to apply the law to ourselves. And that that moment that acceptance of allowing certain groups of people to violate the law in order to punish or threaten or put the lives in danger of other groups of people was really it you know it's just like it seemed to really awaken the authoritarian segment of our population. That way we can do this we can get away with this stuff and this is why you're seeing it in all these different manifestations be it in the context of mothers with their own kids or a black person in America or a person who doesn't like ice and law enforcement.

31:53The perspective is an authoritarian one in which we don't like you. Therefore we have the right to either kill you or call for you to be killed. And when they're told the people who accept that ideology by one political party hey we've got a big tent. We're welcome here and that's what they say any time they are approached with some of these extremist on the left and their rhetoric hey listen we're a big tent. We take in everyone except for Jews and pro life people and John Fetterman other than that. Welcome on in the authoritarian left and you got to give it to them they have managed to activate liberal women to fight the cause against women's rights. It's a pretty remarkable thing.

32:57And we see this with the ability to control and to train women on the left to believe that as women that they aren't actually even a thing that is unique from men. The whole of who they are as a person that that is definitively separate from a man they have managed to to get so many of these left wing women to deny that existence. And to say if a man tells me that he is a woman I will be obedient to that to that declaration. To the point that women that are like no don't think so they turn against them.

34:00And since it's perfect that it's so much of this is occurring within the context and the culture of the WNBA. An entire organization that is built upon the understanding of a concept between men and women. And the people who are running that organization are part of the weapon used by the left that is obediently denying what is the existence of women. And it really can't come to a more perfect head than this deal with these supporters of women wearing the XX XYT shirts which is it's the well it's to purpose one it is the that is partly the logo I'm not sure if it's trademarked or but of the athletic company that's purpose is promoting women sports and girls in sports. It's also the official that is the scientific designation of a woman. And most recently there was a group of eight people that rejected from a Portland Thorns match a Providence Park this is this was a women's soccer league.

35:13And they were kicked out because it's offensive to the trans community which in and of itself is an acknowledgement that the trans argument is anti science by their own positioning saying that shirt with the scientific label for women is anti trans well what does that tell you if you are like if you and science or against one another you're not on the side of science. Then you had these it is a sports bar geared towards women called sports bra and you had a number of people including women that also had shirts that showed the scientific designation of women and they were asked to leave by a female staffer. The combination of authoritarianism on the left and this amazingly remarkable ability of the left to to successfully target some women in this culture and train them to be obedient to their political cause of eliminating the distinction of women.
