• What would a Liberal Tea Party look like? David Graham at The Atlantic wrote a piece about it. The Tea Parties started as an anti-big government, anti-tax movement, and stood for Taxed Enough Already (TEA), so how could liberals have a Tea Party when they support taxes? 
• Western Missouri Congressman Mark Alford says he’s heard the complaints and re-introduced the ‘Pony Up Act’. It holds the post office accountable for reimbursing the customer the late fees on bills that never made it to their destinations. He’s hoping it’s the start of overhauling the service.

• Trump’s nominee to lead the Department of Education, Linda McMahon, has confirmed her full support for the president's plan to abolish the department.
• The FBI has reportedly opened an investigation into the origins of an alleged off-the-books operation launched a decade ago by former FBI Director James Comey to use undercover “honeypot” agents to infiltrate President Donald Trump’s first presidential campaign.
