They've already got 36 minutes worth of news out of myself in way going through all the latest from NXT Ronda Rousey's pipe bomb at the Intuit dome on Tuesday Nino hamburger gaza being let go by trip Leia you have seen doing some incredible numbers on CBS over the weekend Eugene Nagata going to Las Vegas for blood sport and Oscar Lloyd Bay Trying to match Ronda Rousey as he uh his target was Aaron Wolf Yeah What an eclectic news pack As they always are so thank you very much for that John and thank you to everybody who joined us then But thank you all of us all of you who might be joining us just for this portion right now Well, I know what everyone is is thinking at home, especially those that are watching on On the post-reson YouTube channel. I know you're always somewhat wishing that this this line this line right here

2:02Where is it right here? Could we could we get rid of this line? What if John and way we're in the same room together? Well folks, we only do it a few times a year There is only so many times way can stand my physical presence But this Thursday is one of those times because it is Talk time way and I are gonna get together. We have already planned this out. We're gonna have coffee together and we are going to Just let it roll and see where where where the conversation takes us and we are gonna present talk on Thursday It's kind of funny Like it's one of the few podcasts we'll ever do in a year together and we choose not to record it like on video I mean It's not like people can really see us on the same room, but it's so much more complicated to do video in person Then it is I mean it's that I also to me like I look at talk is just like I just wanted to feel as pure of a conversation It is possible and usually if there are lights on and like a camera in our faces I tend to think that that kind of rob something out of like the natural flow of a conversation

3:04Which I like to always aim for with these and often we record and we just don't even remember we're actually recording So that's sort of the you know effect I I hope for with these shows So look out for that on the post wrestling cafe on Thursday and Coming up this weekend we have all their all of your regular shows we wanted to smack down Friday night with way and kneel Saturday we will have collision course with Kate from Montreal and Jay Lacey who's joining Kate and W a podcast the first time or on the on collision course I'm looking very very much forward to that. Yes, that should be great and Sunday night way and I will be together after the revolution paper view to go through that whole card from Los Angeles California, so we will be live here on the YouTube channel Sunday night So finish the pay-per-view and no matter what hour it is Turn us on we will be here Yes, we will and we'll be going head-to-head with the press conference Which we opted not to do tonight. We couldn't go ahead to head with that

4:04No, no Maybe the maybe the greatest question ever at a at a press conference I feel like I feel like I'm good with pro wrestling press conferences for the rest of my life. I mean these press conferences They are not meant to be Content and I we will get into that later. So tonight's show from the San Jose Civic 2,402 tickets distributed which is pretty much what you can fill This is not a big venue and this was like this place can hold 3,000 for concerts So I imagine this was pretty much the capacity and Brian Danielson is back and calling it with Ian Riccobani Tony Chavani no ex-caliber on this portion. Yeah, interesting. I mean always a very pleasant surprise to hear Ian on Like an actual dynamite show as much as I love ex-caliber man They have a great back-up in Ian Riccobani if I'd not the call not to say that's any sort of negative thing But you know like I imagine Ian still works a very busy day job But to have him as a fill-in from time to time is a great bonus

5:07So we started off with the Death Riders John Moxley and Claudio Cascignoli against Conosgate to Keshda and Hedgesero and we started off with a technical showcase by Hedgesero and Claudio and then Hedgesero giving a very non-technical middle finger to John Moxley When Moxley and to Keshda were tagged in the whole crowd was chanting holy shit at these two they were They did a good job here of you know doing just enough, but still keeping them away to Keshda though Has this black eye from Saturday's match with Claudio that you could detect it, but when they zoomed in My god, it looked like this guy almost broke his orbital it looked terrible up close like he really caught something here in the Claudio match It didn't look great. I'm sure it doesn't feel great either, but thankfully it's not the type of injury that will prevent him from wrestling Or really even adjusting his style of wrestling whatsoever. So it just makes him look even Cooler than he usually does I think so to Keshda breaks a choke from Moxley goes to the

6:10Blue Thunder bomb and their trading strikes gets out of a cross face and then to Keshda stops a gotch pile driver and lands a neat Moxley Claudio's in with the giant swing on Hedgesero and then Hedgesero is sent into the corner avoids going to the ref, but then Is poked in the eyes by Claudio who uses an inside cradle to pin Hedgesero in 14 minutes and six seconds and this would be a string of many finishes that That featured fouls leading to the finish, but for television I'm really not that bothered by that, you know, I I'm not necessarily looking for definitive clean Like finishes on television because I've recognized television job is to build heat for the for the actual pay-per-view Which I thought this managed to do I thought it was a great match Every combination of between these four offered something compelling and It was really interesting to me to see the Death Riders be portrayed as the heels in this match because Number one to catch to catch it a pretty much is a baby face

7:11But Hedgesero was like arguably like the bigger fan favorite of the two in this match to this audience So it's just an interesting contrast to the rest of this program between the DCF and death Death Riders because usually especially Moxley's in there more than the not the Death Riders are being put the ones portrayed as the baby faces The ones who are you know getting beaten up and and against the heels, but in this case you have Heavy fan favorite and to catch it up, but also seemingly a fan favorite and Hedgesero too But it all works and and maybe tells you that at least like at this point crowd reactions in a w Might be more wrestler dependent rather than faction dependent, you know, so it makes for very interesting combinations So and you go right into the post match where the Death Riders are immediately portrayed as a pathetic again But this time against Davis and Archer who are more hateable of course Yeah, because Archer and Davis run in and Archer knocks down Shafir and men they got on Archer for that that shoulder tackle And a chair is brought in they handed it to Keshda to use on Moxley

8:13But he refuses to use the chair and he has them stop the attack Hedgesero is pissed at to Keshda for being honorable And and maybe he should be is like I just got my retina readjusted here by Claudio Fuck these guys So it looks like you know to Keshda and Moxley I think we're going to pretty much have like you know I don't think we're going to have a definitive heel in this match I think it's just going to be two guys that are going to be going out there and having a competitive wrestling match and Yeah, it's a double babyface match in No runners for for baby fizzes who are in factions that are at the very Maybe at least you could say ambiguous, you know in in their allegiances Although Don Calis family very much straight appeals. I'm Listen to the reactions just even till their interaction here. It's you know It's one of the more anticipated matches on the entire card and that's saying something for how anticipated so many of matches are these days in A.W Renee interviewed Willow and Persephone and they just had a

9:17Willow congratulates her on winning the title and both remark how they beat Mercedes-Menei But Persephone mentions she hit her harder on Friday So they're not hiding the fact that Mercedes has been dropping these championships at least not The CML you know she's doing her whole world tour now And I think she's dropping all the belts before she comes back to like she's got a double title defense for red pro She's coming up to Winnipeg right before a W's Winnipeg show which I think the way it works out that could be Like by the end of it that that would be one of her last titles at this point She's still got like five or six, but you know for all the negativity about What's this gonna do for all these it she's going back to every single one of these companies and dropping these titles and is she losing Anything like that she lose any sort of like prestige or aura as a result of all these losses that very few people are watching No, not at all. We all especially though and they're not hiding it even on the show like they're yeah They're announcing like she's losing these belts

10:17Especially the audience that's watching this product. We all know the game. We all know I mean It makes her actually look better, you know traveling to all of these places and actually doing like the proper thing by dropping all these belts So yeah the the preemptive rage over that one like that is one that you chalk up to let it play out and It was just like there was just so much like a people just having no thought that she would go back and lose any of these belts And she's gonna lose every single one of them. It surprised me that she she was actually like because this is It would be behavior that would be expected of somebody of her stature right to not to just vacate them all But she's not doing that. No, no, she's like I thought you could do a deal where it like if you really wanted to She could have put all the belts up on the line and someone else has to go back and and drop them But no, she's she's going back. She's doing her return dates for all of these places And I think that Winnipeg show is already sold out and that's not till like the end of March

11:21Calus is with Kyle Fletcher in walks mjf and Tells him to take out no balls mic Bailey and Kyle doesn't take orders from max He's gonna beat him up for himself and as max walks off tells the Calus Tell him or teach him how to speak to a champion and Kyle warns Calus we better not be working with him And it turns out they'll they're probably working with him and yeah That's gonna be the further fraction Yeah, so I mean already I think we're already getting to to catch it at one foot out the door They they continue to tease tensions between Fletcher and at least maybe don't call us maybe maybe others here So that was interesting about this and obviously Teases of the future Fletcher mjf match. Yeah, which is yeah another like name you throw into like mjf's list potential So Fletcher and speedball might Bailey who had the follow the head classic that they had during the continental Classic and they were gonna get 18 and a half minutes to do so here

12:24Bailey Bailey wrestled in a made like both of them. They had a fantastic match But Bailey's focus is the arm he goes for all of these arm bars And he continually goes for it all of his offense is geared around this arm from the moonsault double knees to these kicks to the arm Fletcher is clutching the arm Throughout the match and everything is targeted toward that arm. I thought it was great Kyle gets them up on the shoulders and and this is on the edge of the apron where Bailey pops off and turns it into a poison Rana sending Bailey at Bailey and Fletcher off the apron to the floor There was a golden triangle by Bailey and we're getting the updated time cues at 10 minutes at 15 minutes And this crowd like they were anticipating a draw especially when they got to the 15 minute mark After Bailey escapes a sleet he gets a sleeper applied with a body triangle And then turns that into an arm bar then he moonsaults the knee the double knees onto the shoulder And Danielson was in his element here because he's picking up on all of this and everything is focused on the arm

13:30Even I love this one call where he goes for the arm bar and Danielson is quick to point out That's the right arm. That's the arm that had not been previously injured and made sense because Fletcher was able to defend By lifting him up and slamming him using the good arm But in the process damaging the other one as well after this tornado into the corner misses He misses Ultima and we get this procession of near falls including a brainbuster that was countered into a small package Then Okata runs out distracting the ref with the screwdriver and this crowd is just on Okata and Fletcher stops the flamingo driver Going to the eyes and Davis hands the belt for a belt shot and the brainbuster beats Bailey at 18 minutes and 13 seconds Incredible match match of the show on a show with the incredible wrestling that matches top to bottom I I'm not completely confident in saying this even but like I want to say this was one of like Bailey's best matches

14:33It's coming to AEW but I don't feel confident in saying that because I feel like he has like these sort of incredible stand-up performances at like every couple months and At worst this was very comparable to their continental classic match and I I'm sure like they were you know I would have to rewatch it just to like compare the team whatever a match like this would be most people's like best match of their career You know and for these guys it just feels kind of the norm right Like Bailey is a type where I mean I think we're seeing like maybe with Kevin Knight's advancements You know getting more mic time. Maybe that's putting a bit of a spotlight on like Mike Bailey sort of like you know I guess lack of you know development in that stage But he's also the type of wrestler that is so good You can make the argument that he doesn't need to talk well Obviously everybody could benefit from being able to talk better But like he is so exceptionally great in ring that um like

15:33I feel like he's he's a he's a big enough draw just just based off of these type of performances alone His in this match is speed is technique the consistency is just at at an unbelievable level I thought the arm work was really well done the arm bar entries look really really great That was my favorite stuff of the match and I would say that was like a big difference from the first match That was just like it was an electric atmosphere for the first match And it was one that I don't think anyone expected Bailey to win that match either It was like that you had the upset element to it Which I think people at least you know bought Bailey to a degree here But this was it was certainly different in many respects This was the match. I really had I had zero issue with the Okada running at the end because I think that was the whole heat of this match That a time limit would not have generated is like down the road I think Bailey is going to get a really sizable win down like he is kind of their their their their Sammy Zane here Um Minus fellow first name. I don't want to see this guy backstage knocking over bottles and emoting but

16:37No, this match was excellent. It was definitely the match of the show and Yeah, I thought this was excellent. Excellent. Excellent The post wrestling cafe is your one stop shop for all of the coverage that post wrestling has to offer Too big rewind to ways this month with wf insurrection from may of 2002 This UK only pay per view featured the raw brand going overseas and ending with the infamous plane ride from hell Then we're going to take a look at a w a super sunday from April of 1983 A new edition of talk can be yours plus mcu later book club and coverage of UFC 326 tna sacrifice and of course excel editions of rewind a raw dynamite and smackdown with all the news of the day Join now at post wrestling cafe dot com um Brody King had a standby match um that went 19 seconds Didn't get the name of this individual. He died with a cons a gonzo bomb and then One of Seth Seth Rollins mask ninjas has a chain and jumps Brody King um

17:43You know a mask man Coming after someone um I thought this might elicit some chance for Brody King Oh No, no, no If I catch chance there were none again I think he is going to get them on sunday, but I do feel those chance I don't think they're going to become this staple for him I think they are kind of petering out But I would it would not surprise like you're talking 10,000 people in LA for a big match I could see them on sunday, but I really don't think they're going to follow him too much No, I don't think so um in you know, maybe Of course, it's still topical, but maybe maybe it's it's slightly Cooled off um in the cycle because I schooled off I did not necessarily mean that but But there's just so much fucking crazy shit that's going on in the world right now Maybe that's you know like it's it's not as top of mind for for some people, but in LA maybe maybe that'll be different

18:45So it's swerve who reveals himself he chokes Brody with the chain and then Brody rips the chain into and Nonatries to stop him and swerve then snaps the forearm of Brody Which danielson points was his previous injury from a like two years ago So it looks like he's going to go in with an injury on on sunday Yeah, yeah, I Good segment you know um a lot of Good interest in this match and I'm glad this match got them to the top of the hour The at the next hour so the standby match could make them Oh fill out the show that's a yeah Yeah, still one that's quite hard to predict predict But I'm I'm still certainly leaning towards swerve because it just feels like you want to get that Heal off on a strong foot. Yes for for those uh that are members of the cafe We will be doing a run through of the pay-per-view on the the excel portion at the end Renee interviews speedball. He won't complain about how Kyle needed to cheat He will look forward not back and they will get what they deserve on sunday

19:52Mm-hmm fine It was fine It was fine. Yeah, it was fine. Yeah, he needs experience He needs he needs to sort of my time and you know what like with the adrenaline pumping It tends to get the best out of people all right Maybe you should just do promos when he's like totally blown up in this kind of a scene It often results in in like some of the best stuff. Yeah Yeah, Cassidy and Darby Allen against Gabe Kid and David Finley in Finley's first official AEW match They brawled at ringside here and Darby got posted and spit on by Gabe Kid Kid hand some kid hang some with a guillotine off the turnbuckle builds up to the hot tag to Darby and Finley rakes his eyes. I think everyone's eyes at some point got gouged on this show This was like the third match in a row Code red to Finley is stopped by a kid lary at really nice Sequence there dives by the baby faces and then Darby He's like how many fans are here 2400. Let's do it. Missile dropkick to Gabe Kid seated on a chair on the floor as a

20:56Darby's hip was a Rotated and then Clark Conner shows up from the crowd attacking Cassidy with a tire iron That's the end of orange and then a coffin drop lands in a choke by Kid and Finley grabs him Dominator drill a whole pile driver and kid pins Darby and After the match Conner comes in spears Cassidy and out walks Roderick strong And he comes out they hold orange Cassidy in place because we've already done the turn of Roderick with orange So what does he do? He attacks the dogs and Extends his hand to orange Cassie the man who he walked out on last month in a tag match and now they're friends. They high-fived Yeah, I don't know if there's that much drama That I was personally feeling about whether or not Roderick strong would be Turning baby face or heel personally. I just I it was one of those were I didn't necessarily care so Yeah, great. He's a remember when we went from Darby and Gabe Kid straight up for this pay-per-view

21:59And we've just slowly added more and more so now now we've got a six-man for a revolution which It's fine. It'll it'll be fine. Yeah. Yeah, um, but still I thought um the dogs Did very well here. I don't like that name. I have to get used to it I think they they did well here. You know, they look what about the peace dogs The peace dogs, okay Um Yeah, not sure I love that. I'm sure you could help I'll ask what I was gonna say how about instead of the war dogs you had the raw dogs which No, I don't I don't think they should They should be doing that one I mean Dude we were gonna make a horsecock shirt. So I think at this point like why not horsecock and raw dogs battling over the uh Uh, yeah, in a multi-man All right Let's move on Willow Nightingale and Persephone for the tv s title was next I thought these two had a very good match together and I think it was a credit to Persephone who I imagine the audience was not as familiar with

23:03But uh both of them had a very good man. I thought Willow was was very strong in this match They mentioned her defending the title against Nina Samuels at Eve on Sunday Persephone powered up and hit this fallaway slam and the crowd really got into that spot showing off the strength Willow hits a spine buster on the floor and Danielson who I always take at face value when he is observing things happening in real time just remarked that That spine buster Persephone's head bounced off the floor and I had no doubt that I'm sure her head just ricocheted off the floor from this There's a cannonball off the apron another in the ring by Willow and then Persephone hits a cabrata lifts her up for the razor's edge and it's turned into a backslide counter as Willow catches her and Willow retains the tbs title from The newly crowned CMLO women's champion. Mm-hmm. I thought it was an excellent match You know really impressive as for both women but especially Persephone who I think delivered to me the type of performance that would make AW audiences want to see more of her she

24:06She felt very complete to me here as a wrestler very athletic very Technical and I think very charismatic, you know That little interaction they had in the back was very short and simple But I thought it did a very effective job of showcasing her You know very confident personality and I thought it built into this like little sort of like friendly rivalry between two baby face champions who I think they ultimately succeeded in like conveying the idea that they're both very much equals and that despite Willow Winning will it could have easily been Persephone if they rematched again So I think despite the loss she still felt protected here as a CMLO champion But um, I think it adds to like, you know what has already been a very strong tbs title rain for Willow And also a smart move by taking a Mexican female star and having them under a contract when you put them on Yes, 100% yeah Okay, although although the last she's seven years of Chilean Yes, but I mean coming from a Mexican. Yes, it's so hunter isn't caller who's a

25:11Persephone what's that stuff? What what's her name Uh, I mean you kid, but like I I could see them wanting, you know somebody for like who could cut a promo who can you know speak Spanish obviously Yes, slot just opened at AAA. They got to fill those spots. So the babes of Wrath are backstage and Willow reflects on beating England's best then Mexico's best And so she wants to defend the tbs title at revolution First she says the tag titles then she says the tbs title and says At the end of this she just leaves it with Lena cross, but no we fat in fact learn She's going to defend both belts at revolution. It will be the babes of Wrath against Megan Bain and Lena cross And in a separate match on the kickoff willow and Lena cross for the tbs title I thought like she had misspoke somehow I thought so too because she even said Oh, I've got all these entorphins going. I was like, yeah, did she miss speak

26:12But then they did clarify. I mean one of these matches could not wait until dynamite next actually doing both matches So um both Lena cross and willow working double duty at revolution um I have to think one of these championships will be changing hands probably not in there's a reason for this That one match affects the other yeah, yeah, so yeah I'm very interested to see what the story telling is because you would expect the one result to lead directly into the Maybe like I could certainly see like willow Retains against Lena cross, but it gets injured gets hurt or like yeah, and then um Loosen up short and this like Bain and cross should probably win the belts on the pay-per-view And then you have this story of like willow Wouldn't want to break up willow and Harley, but it is like willow comes in compromise for doing the the second match and I mean it's a reason nonetheless to switch the belt So I can I can see that playing itself out and therefore it makes sense to do both matches on the same show

27:12Yeah, we um, so uh Bain and cross are wrestling on collision I believe Bain and cross um Right, right they announced oh well they announced everything here did they announce bain and cross it's and it's lean across against minishera kawa Okay, so yes, um, okay the whole collision lineup which they are taping tonight We have and draw day against masquerade rata, which is uh Gonna be quite the uh appetizer for andrade and bandito this this weekend Kevin Knight and l clone which could be also very Pretty great mark davis and commander lean across minishera kawa the demand against juice robinson Austin gun and ace Austin The triangle of madness are in action and chris statlander will speak. So let's quite the lineup for collision It's a lot of wrestling this weekend. Yeah, too pretty for me w so much uh Final match of dynamite young bucks and mark brisco against ftr and tomaso champa we start with a brawl on the floor and I i thought maybe fr after taking up malachi they were going to go after

28:15uncle dav here For the bucks They did they did tease a meltzer driver here um, which was stopped and then brisco hits a cutter to cash off the turnbuckle all six Mentor down mark got cut open on the forehead and champa gets a chair It stopped so brisco leaps off the chair for a dive and then champa and cash Go to opposite corners and they tease meet in the middle Mm-hmm they should not work out so well No, it did not work out so well as johnny gargano and all of sudden cash started planking on a road case. It was really strange So yes, uh, they meet they missed with the meet in the middle There's a swan ton elbow combo by the bucks followed by froggy bow and then nick is sent off the top through a table on the floor J driller gets stopped they hit the shatter machine mats in for the save and the dac strikes mat on the desk with a monitor And they follow with a spike pile driver taking out mat and brisco is left in the ring J driller to champa gets stopped by cash and then it's champa landing with the running knee with the expo with pulling down the knee pad and pinning

29:21Mark briscoe and hovering over mark and giving them a kiss not on the lips um and champa continues to attack with a chair and an air raid crash off the buckle through two chairs Which sets us up for the natural match Tomaso champa will be in the 21 man national battle royal on sunday One would not but i am not complaining that we're not getting another singles match on the on the show But it's something weird must have gone on because they were totally building up ricochet and jack perry And that just stopped and now ricochets in this battle royal Like he was cutting promos on tv about it's true I mean that doesn't mean that they you know jack perry won't be a part of this and you know I guess it could go to the match that way but Okay, yeah, how many people are we gonna realize oh my god back guys under contract in this 21 man battle royal uh Well a lot of new people have been under contract this year alone in a w So we're gonna get balled uh johnny konsejo maybe in this match um

30:24I don't think they need to work that hard to find 21 people No, I don't think they have to work that hard either maybe Mike Bennett gets the call I don't know. Yeah, but i mean the clear direction seems to be champa briscoe So i don't think you could you you need to expect any of them to win the battle royal But uh we could probably expect mark briscoe to interact with with champa somehow as a result of um everything In the battle royal um But i think champa got i can't imagine how happy this person must be like the pace and coordination of this Triple trio smatch was just Uh like everything you would expect out of a a box multi-person match But like with everybody working just as fast and just as creatively And in the case of champa he just he looks like a race horse who like has been locked in the stable for like a long long time And has been finally let out into like an open field where he can run as fast as he wants He finally looks like he's getting to perform to the fullest of his abilities And he had some instances of that johnny kanos at the petting zoo where he's just uh Confined like locked and i mean this guy made i mean for for for his career

31:29I'm sure he got a very good deal to go here and i mean Like he's just getting to perform and and getting to create you know the type of art He is capable of And and that's just i have to imagine that's so fulfilling Do you think he's currently wondering how how you order my aew In this in this and if someone could possibly give me instructions on how to order I did watch on my aew Okay, how how was that? I didn't find it as smooth as trailer um, but it works. It works perfectly fine. Yeah Cool. It's it's good. Yeah, and and i have been I'd believe there is a one device Limit limit. Yeah, I have not fully tested it up myself, but I I'm told that there might be that okay. 33:40And I don't know why because unless they really thought that these answers were gonna get reactions Which this was not a crowd responding type of segment and instead you got boring chance and it just Like the crowd noise didn't help this at all it took it even further down and So they're taking I mean it was a bad idea to begin with this was just it was not a good idea especially for the main event of a show Like this was not compelling it didn't further the story they could have done this on the stage They could have done it in front of a live audience. I mean, I I guess you wouldn't have had press You know be able to be seated the way they do they are but it was an idea that they had and probably one that we Don't see again, at least not in this type of presentation You know page just said he's gonna leave in an ambulance. They're they're getting the boring chance mjf and these like So how do you think this worked? I mean that least some of these not what I mean is like you know like I

34:40I imagine everything was Like okayed all these questions were might have even some of them been fed to the reporters to actually just just read And if that was the case you would expect the responses from page and mjf to be a lot more interesting and substantial I thought they were just there's nothing special about any of these answers like this was what you would call a boring press conference And not certainly one that you know benefited from any sort of gloss of a professional wrestling fiction No, this is not a good idea for a live audience and really for TV. I didn't think it worked all that well either um The last question was the one that just I laughed out loud Hang man If you don't win the title at revolution who are you Who does the guy who got this out with like a straight phase vice just I love who are you Anyway mjf brings in some beers and then they brawled and they fought through security into the arena into the ring

35:42And we saw page hit a dead eye pulls out the barbed wire board and goes for another dead eye off the apron But mjf escapes and runs away To end the show. I'm glad they at least did the physicality and got back into the arena Because man you couldn't have ended the show on this press conference Honestly, it should have just ended after the video. I think they they had an idea it did not work This reminded me of that weigh-in that they did with with Cody and Anthony a gogo and I don't believe that ended the show So no, I think I was right in the middle. Yeah, I thought this was this was A rare fumble, you know from these days from AW on a show that I think completely kicked ass in terms of pro wrestling Like the in-ring content of this was outstanding So but you know most people are probably going to be remembering what ends the show and they descended in on a bit of a white fart I just I think it needed crowd involvement of some sort, you know If especially if you're going to give like make make the audio sound of the crowd heard

36:43Like you know how this would have been a lot better was Like a closed set and it's danielson interviewing these two and he's got the history with them And you could have done all of this Like again, it was an idea that they had You know, you try different things you learned from them But I think that a lot like when they mentioned the thing with danielson in their history It was like danielson would do a great job in this in like a sit-down closed set type of segment That could still end with physicality and they Brawl their way like you could have even done it in the ring you you could have done it in front of the crowd as well That's kind of a different vibe then when you have the arena reacting Anyway, yeah, or I would have just like I would I would have had it In the ring or on the stage so that audiences can react to it And I would have if you're gonna script the questions script the answers to be a little bit more interesting compelling Let them let the questions from the the press be launching points for like Killer lines in the form of pro wrestling promo is that you would get from page and and mj if that would at least be memorable

37:48The answers they gave felt just incredibly generic and and not at all rememberable Video package though was amazing whoever did that that was that was seriously one of the better video packages I've seen that a lot like I really enjoyed that Stephanie becare one on Monday, but this blew that one away I thought this was excellent and incorporating all of the history of these two that was a really really great job It's a type of package that puts it in a perspective like at this point how deep of the history a W has in Itself now, you know, like they get seven years Yeah, so they can tell these like long career spanning stories using only their footage and only in their stories and not having to You know necessarily rely on like what's taken place before like they have in the past with like Reference of Kenny and and Okata from New Japan or like a previous ww rivalry for instance So it was a show that was very high on the wrestling quotient Even taking out the press conference segment. How did you think this served as like a go a go home show? Oh, so I maybe my feelings are going to be you know Reliant on a bit of like recency bias

38:49So I certainly don't think they added to mj f in page again other than that video packages was which is very well done ending on on a bit of a you know sort of Sets and yeah, weak note. It was a bad segment. Yeah, but otherwise Takeshita and moxley feels quite hot So let's just go through over go over the card without like any sort of deeper predictions Yeah, we'll go through it. So beyond mj f and hangman page in the Texas death match We have ftr and the young bucks for the tag titles moxley to cash in no time limit for the continental title and draw day against bandito Brody king swerve strickland tecla against christaatlander two out of three falls for the women's title Okada fletcher and mark davis defending the trios belts against mystico and jet speed Timeless Tony storm against marina shafir everyone is banned from ringside the two matches with Willow willow and Harley defending the tag belts against megan bane and lean across and then on the kickoff willow and lean across for the TBS title Darby Allen orange Cassie and Roderick strong against the dogs and

39:53ricochets 21 man blackjack battle royale, which is also on the kickoff and it's saying here big boom a j has a match Which I guess would be on the zero hour as well could be the battle royale Well, I mean yeah could be that's right you could put a j in the battle royale So honestly looking at this lineup now I can't necessarily say this has been a great build for a lot of these matches like a lot of these matches Just kind of put together right um with the exception of moxley tukashiro, which I think has been strong like Tony and shafir Yeah, like just I guess given the you know everything dating back to to blind guts um A lot of these are I think reliant on the just the strength of like Brody king and swerve has done a good job over the past like You know two three weeks But like a lot of it has is just kind of reliant more so on just name value and just like the appeal of what you expect the inring action to be Which I think is is of aid like Appropriate way to build um at least like an aid w type of show which you're paying for

40:56Mainly the inring action anyway But I don't think that the story has been outstanding for a lot of it I did this this show success is all on mjep and hangman page and how Important this step feels and it's two people that have you know Typically done very well when put in these positions like I'm kind of higher on how this show is gonna perform Um, I don't see the Oscars as being like a really big conflict for them to be Erring against um, you know, it is Uh an alternative that you are airing against.
