About this episode
It’s the lineup for the upcoming season of The Masked Singer...and under one of those crazy costumes is none other than Rudy Giuliani. Producers booked him despite the fact he faces multiple lawsuits for allegedly spreading disinformation about the 2020 presidential election. And Sarah Palin claims the New York Times defamed her in an editorial that said her political rhetoric incited the mass shooting that wounded former Arizona Congresswoman Gabby Giffords. The paper corrected the error within hours of publication - and - also tweeted an apology to its readers. Plus, with Covid cases still averaging about 16,000 a day in California, officials are understandably nervous about the Super Bowl becoming a super spreader event. And based on mask wearing at playoff games, getting people to wear them might be a challenge. And the groundhog predicted six more weeks of winter yesterday, and Mother Nature is definitely making good on that. At least 30 states are in the path of a massive winter storm that promised to deliver snow, sleet, rain and strong winds from Texas to New York.
