That's what Savannah Guthrie is saying about coming back to the today show. Early next month,

she's scheduled to return to the anchor desk, but with her emotions still raw over her mother's

kidnapping, she's questioning if it's too soon. Here's Jim Morey.

I don't know if I can do it. I don't know if all belong anymore. Savannah Guthrie is returning to

the today show on April 6th for the first time since the kidnapping of her 84-year-old mom.

It's hard to imagine doing it because it's such a place of joy and lightness and

I can't come back and try to be something that I'm not, but I can't not come back because it's my family.

I think it's part of my purpose. Savannah tells Hota Kati her return is an act of defiance aimed

directly at the kidnappers. I will not fall apart. I will not let whoever did this.

Take my children's mother from them. I will not let them take my joy. My joy will be my protest.

My joy will be my answer. She said she was inspired by her emotional visit to the today's studio

three weeks ago and she was surrounded by support from her today show colleagues.

What was it like for you walking back in there? I really wanted to come and see everybody.

I just love this beautiful place that we call home.

Savannah is also renewing her desperate appeal for information that may solve the baffling mystery

that is transfixing the nation. We can't breathe. We can't live. We can't go on. We can't be a piece.

We can't go forward. We have to know what happened to her. How can someone vanish without a trace?

How? Someone knows something. Even if that's something is someone's been acting strange

for the last seven, eight weeks. And she's even offering to forgive anyone involved in the

kidnapping who comes forward. The warmth of love and forgiveness that will come

will be greater than can be imagined. I know what it is to be forgiven and there is no greater joy.

Yes. And that joy awaits.

Whoever can hear this and find it in their heart out.

Jenna Bush Hager choked back tears at the anchor desk after the interview air today.

I mean, she took her pain, her heart, her faith, her family, in the midst of her despair.

She laid it on the table for all of us.

But despite her plan returned the day after Easter Sunday, Savannah's grief remains overwhelming.

I'm heartbroken for the sorrow. Yes. I'm heartbroken.

Savannah's bosses at the today's show had left her return date open, saying the anchor chair

would always be waiting for her. It's happened again. Tiger Woods involved in another

rollover car crash. He was driving nearest home in Jupiter Island, Florida when his car ended up

on its side. Tiger Woods busted for driving while intoxicated. Cop say it happened after he

crashed his land rover into a pickup truck on Jupiter Island in Florida, not far from his $45

million mansion. His car was left on its side. The individual driving that land rover was able

to crawl out the passenger door of the car and was identified to be Mr. Tiger Woods. Our DUI

investigators came to the scene here and Mr. Woods did exemplify signs of impairment.

Cop say Woods was cooperative with police, but only so far. When it came time for us to ask

for a year analysis test, he refused and so he's been charged with DUI with property damage

and refusal to submit to a lawful test. He was not injured. He was lethargic on scene but that

we believe was was because of what he was intoxicated on. 50-year-old Tiger Woods has been dating

President Trump's former daughter-in-law, Vanessa, for the last year. In 2021, would sustain

life-threatening injuries when his car overturned in California. Late today, President Trump spoke

about the incident. There was an accident and that's all I know. Very close friend of mine is

an amazing person, amazing man, but some difficulty. Tiger had hoped to return to the master's next

month to try to win his sixth green jacket, but he recently backed out because his injuries

have left him unable to compete in a four-day tournament. No mother wants to see their kid bullied,

but did this mom really kidnap a 12-year-old boy she thought was tormenting her child?

As Amarca Gleana reports, cop say she did just that.

She's the mom whose 12-year-old son was allegedly kidnapped by another mom.

Now, Amberly Colazo is speaking out. He says to me mom, I was just kidnapped like as he's crying.

Police say the suspect was this woman Shannon Tufuga who was accused of driving around looking

for Amberly Colazo's son, Christopher, wanting to confront him about bullying her child.

She found Christopher riding his bike and stopped her vehicle in front of his bike.

I was going to say sorry that I got in your way, but when I was about to say that, she was like,

no, if you get in my car, I'm taking you. I'm like, no, cop say the mom made Christopher get

into her vehicle and drove him to her home in Provo, Utah and told him to apologize to her child

for bullying her at school. Then the kidnapper drove Christopher home according to authorities.

The boy's mom tells CBS News' Matt Gutman that she questioned her son when he told her what happened.

I want to know your part. Did you bully her? He says mom I called her a rude name and I didn't

mean to, but I didn't know what else to do. She won't leave me alone. This story is setting social

media on fire and many are expressing support for the accused kidnapper. Mama Bear was protecting

her cub, goes one comment. This is not kidnapping, goes another. Are you surprised that it's you and

Christopher who many people believe are the villains in this story? Oh, absolutely.

Amberley says she can't believe a dispute among students at the school escalated this far.

A simple conversation could have fixed this problem.

The mom is charged with kidnapping and aggravated child abuse. She denies all the allegations.

I missed all the drama involving long lines at the airport and the partial government shutdown

comes this. Passengers booking what they think are plane tickets, but when they get to the airport,

they find out they're not flying at all. They're traveling by bus. How can that even happen?

Here's less trend. It starts out like any other flight, checking in, going through security,

waiting at the gate for your flight to be called. But when it comes time for boarding,

it's not a plane waiting for you. It's a bus. Now some passengers are saying they've been

taken for a ride. This is crazy. This is so weird. I fully thought it was a flight.

Kennedy Woodard, an engineer, tells our Allison Hall that she booked a business trip from her

home in Chicago to South Bend, Indiana. I've done that trip multiple times before. So going

there was normal. It was on a plane like every other time. But on her return trip, you go through

TSA, you go to your gate even and at the gate, they say, okay, we're boarding and you then get on a bus.

In the moment, I thought that maybe the bus is taking us to like a smaller aircraft.

For people as you got on to the highway from the airport, were people looking around going like,

what? Where's the plane? I think when we first started, people were like kind of chuckling,

because they were like, oh, I guess this is our ride today. That passenger found herself on a

two and a half hour journey to Chicago, a trip that would normally take less than an hour by

plane and get this even though she was on a bus, the ticket cost the same as a plane, $400.

So what's going on here? It turns out, American Airlines has replaced a number of connecting flights

to small regional airports with a bus. They say if you look at your ticket, it indicates that a

portion of your journey includes travel on luxury bus. There's even a little image of a bus,

but Kennedy showed us her ticket, which she purchased through a third party website and there's

no mention of a bus. Did you feel a little duped? A little bit. I'm sure in the fine print,

I'm sure somewhere it said, oh, this is a bus ride. She is back. Taylor Swift has been keeping

a low profile since her tour wrapped up in December, but last night she made her big return at the

I Heart Radio Awards and boy did she have a big night. fiance Travis Kelsey being from the audience.

Taylor Swift is back. To the delight of her fans, Taylor and fiance Travis Kelsey appeared at the

I Heart Radio musical award show. The audience went wild as Taylor and her football bow

made their way to their seats. Taylor finally has her dance partner for life.

It's the first time the couple has attended an award show together. Taylor was the night's

big winner taking home seven awards. Artist of the year Taylor Swift.

little medal skater Alyssa Lou presented artist of the year. Taylor thanked Travis from the stage.

This album probably also feels very happy and confident and free because that's the way that I get

to feel every single day of my life because of my fiance. And you can see him mouth. I love you.

Taylor's been keeping a low profile as her reported June wedding day looms. The nephews are

said to take place in Rhode Island where Taylor owns a beach house. Back up. As they tried to leave

an after party at a private club in LA, an excited fan tried to block their exit by standing in front

of the vehicle. Bad idea. The hit FX series love story about John Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn

Bassett wrapped up last night with its final episode featuring the doomed flight that took their

lives. Now Allison Hall is speaking with a pilot who was at the airport that day. He says he had

a feeling something awful might happen. JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bassett's fatal flight.

Kennedy family wedding on Cape Cod with a stopover in Martha's Vineyard. Just breathe.

But an hour after taking off, the plane crashed into the Atlantic Ocean.

The loss of John Kennedy's plane touched the entire nation in a remarkable way.

Now the last person to see JFK Jr. and Carolyn alive is speaking out.

I saw JFK make that trip from Essex County Airport to Martha's Vineyard probably in excess of

a dozen times. Aviation analyst Kyle Bailey was 26 at the time. He also had plans to fly to Martha's

Vineyard that night, but canceled because of the weather. That particular Friday was as we say

an aviation of the three agents. He's a hot and humid. He says he feared John was tempting fate.

You went home that night. What did you say? I just kind of made the off the cuff comment.

You know, I hope he doesn't kill himself in the airplane someday.

He recounts the tragedy in his book Witness JFK Jr's fatal flight.

Meantime last night on Fox, President Trump shared his memories of Carolyn and John.

I knew them both pretty well. They would go down to Mar-a-Lago together and they had a very

interesting relationship. They would bicker. I want to be nice. They would bicker together.

And then they'd make up and start kissing wildly.

The love story series about John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bassett was a massive ratings hit

and led to spike in searches about the couple on social media.

He's following in his dad's footsteps. This weekend Arnold Schwarzenegger son Joseph will

compete in his very first bodybuilding competition. Like father, like son. That's Arnold Schwarzenegger

in the gym giving his son pointers on posing. 28-year-old Joseph Bayna is making his bodybuilding

competition debut tomorrow. And if anybody knows how to pose, it's the terminator himself.

bodybuilding stage just like his famous dad. And coincidentally, Joseph is 28-years-old the same

Now a dramatic rescue, 11 people pull from the ocean after their pontoon boat capsized.

A harrowing ocean rescue as passenger after passenger is plucked out of the water.

You got one? There's more. Lots more. You got two? They're pontoon boat overturned in high winds

and a rogue wave. You got three? Three. That's five, six. Marine unit deputies from Lee County,

Florida are pulling everyone out of the rough waters. Counting heads as goods emeritus from

other boats join in the rescue. Seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven. In all, 11 men and women

were rescued. And this skier is about to encounter a frightening moment that could have ended

terribly. He nails his first trick at a terrain park in Durango, Colorado known as Purgatory Park.

He flies off another jump. Then near disaster on the other side of this slope is a kid.

The skier nearly hits him. Take another look.
