Hey everybody, what's going on? Rob's sister Nino back here for a huge Thursday night of Big Brother. The blind side didn't come, but we've got a great recap for you anyway. Here with us to talk about it, of course. Taryn, I'm starting to learn how are you? I'm doing great, Rob. That was quite an episode. It was a very exciting blockbuster. I don't know how exciting the result was, but it was certainly an interesting episode with an interesting result. And there's a lot to talk about. Yes, a lot to break down on a big night. Let me also bring in, of course, getting ready to cover all of the live feed actions in Shenanigans. Please, Anvikili, please, how are you? You doing good. Always a pleasure to be here on a Thursday night. So, yeah, I'm excited to recap and maybe complain a little bit, but who does it do?

We'll complain for sure because we have an incredible guest that has that we will have nothing to complain about, but we are blessed to be joined here. Fresh off of episode 1000. The great Brittany Haynes is here. Brittany, how are you? Hi, thanks for having me. I'm well, ding, ding, ding, ding. Yes, yes. Yes. Brittany, how are you doing? I'm just just great. Just wonderful. Excited. Okay. Thanks for having me. I appreciate it. Well, we're so thrilled to have you back to talk about everything from tonight. And what a big week it was celebrating the 1000 episodes of Big Brother. Yes. Yes. I was very excited to go and see everybody. See people that I haven't seen in a million years. This is a lot of fun. It was a little exhausting, but it was a very good time. And I got to host a competition for the first time. It was very nice. You've never hosted a comp. No, one time I was bamboozled by production into believing that I was going to be hosting a competition. And really, I was there to celebrate to other individuals getting engaged.

And I just thought to carry in a vase of sunflowers. And it was real bust hell on my life. So being able to act to really for real though, like it wasn't a trick. I was a trick I wasn't deceived or fooled. I got to really host the comp. Very exciting. Okay. We have a million questions about all that and your experience last week. We also had an eviction tonight where it could have been Rick Devins, who I'm going to host to him was this close to going home. What an exciting night of the blockbuster, but instead it is Lala. And Taren Rick Devins has no idea. He came. He was this close to going out of the house. So close. And I mean, that blockbuster was really close. So he's yeah, at this point still has no idea that not only was there a plan in place to blindside him, but that basically the entire house wanted to. It's literally it's only Devins and Drew that don't have any idea how close this was.

Yeah. Brittany, I need Rick Devins to somehow find out that this almost happened. Well, he will because everybody will want to throw everybody else into the bus or that at least like make accusations, but it's just annoying. There's no justice in this world. How do we even keep moving on? He volunteered to be on the block. What he deserved was then to be evicted as a result. It didn't happen because he's good at putting balls in it too. What can you do? Yeah. This is big brother. Yeah. Yeah, when we saw the comp today, it was like, okay, this is this is feeling like this is in Rick Devins wheelhouse, although Taylor made it way more closer than we expected. Yeah, she was. She did good. She was close. And I think that she got really tired at the end. Like, she could tell that she was just exhausted from the trip up and down the stairs, but it was close. It was a nail bite. I was in a real low point afterwards, but I found that. Yeah. Talk us through the low. You wanted to see one of the survivors go out. It I'm not even that picky. I just want the any icon to feel some heat.

And frankly, is the game continues forward. Their strength and numbers gets more and more powerful. And I see it as being more and more difficult to overcome. As the week go on, not to mention that the in particular is a very, you know, good at all of these competitions. I would be scared to go against her, frankly, in anything. And especially when she has potentially up to three chances to save herself. I think it's going to be really, really difficult to get rid of her. I just wanted the icons to feel some heat. And I wanted there to be massive. I'm just team master. It's not even a specific like, oh, I, you know, wanted this person to go. I'm just I'm just kind of sick of taking off of the other side. I get it. And they're one of the, but Rick didn't feel it, which was a issue. Taren, we did see though tonight that Rick Devins told us in the diary room for the first time that he was considering taking Drew and Barrett to the final five. And I do wonder if there could be some sort of icon civil war that's looming. Yeah, it was.

And apparently is, right? So this is something that Dee was worrying about. There was a joke that Devins told in front of Drew and Barrett that was like, hey, don't forget about what? Not about last week. Like what Dee did last week. And Dee was like that. That joke is the sign that he's not. And me and a lot of other people were like, come on. Devins has been talking to the camera. And he wants to sit next to Dee in the final two. One little joke isn't going to change that. But it turns out Dee was right that that joke perhaps was his sign. And and Dee really is thinking along those lines, which means Devins is looking to potentially take the out down the line. And Dee was definitely looking to take out Devins as early as night. So it'll be interesting. Yeah. Yeah. Are we in a position now where I got a hope for a Devins H. H. O. H. Just so that all the things get messier. If we're we're rooting for Britney's maximum mess. What is our maximum mess route? Because let me tell you, it's not Yash winning.

Because that's just been that's not mess. That's just tragic. This was going to happen to get nominated. Anybody better practice. Great. Yash, Yash is going to continue to throw it. I think I don't think we're any risk of him winning it. Because he's going to throw it knowing that he can't nominate the icons. Anyways, he's going to become essentially worthless in terms of an H. O. H. Competition. Forever at this point. Well, this was the second weekend row that we got to see Barrett show up on Thursday. Tell us about how I'm ready to flip the vote. Here we go, baby. It's time for the blind side. And then for the second weekend row, the person that Barrett is ready to blind side ends up winning the blockbuster, preventing Barrett from flipping. Yes. Yes. Britney, what's your feeling about Barrett at this hour? Um, my affection is very cheap. And Barrett talks really nicely about me. That's I love that. It's very, it's really easy, really easy and simple. He says all sorts of flattering things about me through as well.

So naturally, um, I like these two individuals. However, um, I will say, you know, in terms of going after the icons, it's in my opinion, it took way too long for that side of the house to kind of come together on this idea. And like I said, going forward, numbers are just getting lower and lower. And it's going to be more and more difficult. And I don't think that the icons like this week in particular, I don't think if one of them wins H08, they will take the shots this week. I think that we'll have another like wasted week so that they can kind of pick away at those numbers. The only way that I see it kind of coming back on Barrett at this point would be if an icon one and was waffling between like a Renoam, I could see one of them selling out the other one, right? Like I could see Drew saying, hey, just so you know, Rick Devins, Barrett was four sure going to vote at you out. I could see it coming out kind of in that way. And it probably will in that situation. But it'll be everybody selling out each other. But the only safe people in that situation would be Angela and D

because they kept it between themselves. Let's talk through the vote a little bit. Taryn, I was a little confused as the episode was playing out that we had a four to two vote where it seemed like that maybe Angela was a sympathy vote for to for for Lala. But Melody also votes to evict Taylor in that spot. Did everything go according to plan? No, not at all. In fact, there was there was a world here where Taylor was going to be evicted. Basically, Yash and Melody both wanted to evict Taylor over Lala because they felt like Taylor was a worse competitor than Lala and that Lala would help them out more in competitions. And at the same time, Angela and D both wanted to keep Lala over Taylor because they both felt like Lala was more with them than Taylor was.

So with that in mind, that's four different people that are all wanting to keep Lala over Taylor. The problem is that they're four different people but two of them are both separated from the other two. They're on different sides. So how do they communicate this? Well, Melody tried to flip Drew and Drew heard from Barrett that Yash and Melody did want this to happen. And so Drew told D and Angela that Yash and Melody were trying to flip the vote. D and Angela were like, okay, then we can do this with Yash and Melody as long as Yash and Melody are actually going to vote this way. Barrett though did not seem to want to do it. And Barrett is a big blocker in this. Barrett tried to convince Melody earlier today that they wouldn't have having the vote because the vet really wanted Lala to go. And Angela and D were worried that Yash and Melody, who they haven't talked to, would perhaps not actually vote that way.

So the plan was the last time we saw that Angela and D would talk to Yash and Melody about voting out Taylor right at the last minute. They're depending on what happened with the blockbuster, which of course happened. But instead of them talking to Yash and Melody, we saw them talking to Barrett. And Barrett seems to be telling them something along the lines of like the vote aren't there, don't do it. Then Barrett also told Yash the votes aren't there, don't do it. Barrett then or the Yash then didn't vote for Taylor to go. And Melody who probably didn't get the memo still did. And then we saw Barrett explaining it in the post credits scene as well that like, oh yeah, we couldn't trust that Angela would actually be in on it. So like there's very much a world where Taylor was supposed to be evicted tonight. And if they had had just a little bit more time to talk to one another, it would have actually happened. But it didn't. So is a net negative for

the icons? It's, I mean, it's complicated. It's very bad for Angela. Because she had the votes to keep Lala here. And Lala is so good for Angela's game. But unfortunately, like it just, it didn't play out like it was right there in their hands. And it just slipped right through Angela's hands. And now she lost one of her best assets in the game in Lala. For somebody like Devins, you know, who knows, right? They all think Lala is a better competitor, but we also just watched that blockbuster where it was Taylor that nearly beat Devins and sent him home. And Taylor is very loyal to Yash. So that's good for Yash, even though we also kind of wanted Taylor Gond, because he felt like Lala was a better competitor. There's so many different pros and cons. And this week has been so complicated in terms of who is good for who and what is happening and who's deciding what and are they on the same page to the point where as we just saw, like this, this eviction might not have happened if they were like 30 more seconds for them to speak.

So like, is it good for them? Is it bad for them? It's certainly bad for Angela, but for everyone else, who knows? That's chaos, right, Brittany? I guess, but it's not like that exciting of chaos. Yeah. Not Max. I wasn't even not Max. I wasn't even like that worried between, you know, in a perfect world. I wanted really the chaos that I was looking forward to was if Angela and D decided to also vote against Rick Devins, the shock on his face when he realized that even they didn't vote to keep him in that scenario. I wasn't even like that picky between Taylor and Lala. So it's not, it wasn't, it wasn't going to rock my world either way. I think that they're probably in my opinion about the same level of competition competency. I realized that Lala has won more than Taylor, but I don't know. They seem kind of like, like we saw Taylor do very well in that competition

against Devins. I mean, she really, you know, probably a couple millimeters away from actually beating him in that competition, whereas like Lala wasn't really even close. So I don't know. I wasn't. Right. And which when you have a thousand pickle balls coming at you and you're just holding up a pickle, I feel like you have to work against the balls to actually miss them all. Like that doesn't even, I don't even know how that's called. Did she understand it as like a dodging game? I'm not sure. She did, she did later say that she was lost some at the time. So maybe that perhaps was one of the times. But, you know, neither of them was I like, oh, they're a powerhouse competitor. We must keep them. So, you know, I was really hung up on the idea that Rick Devins, Mike, have blindsided. That was really my only focus going into tonight. I think that's something that's desperately missing is I need the crossovers to have one of the many rough week Haley, meaning yeah, I'm thinking needs to go wrong for them at least one so that

right? So that in this moment where it is law versus Taylor somewhat of an inconsequential vote for a lot of them. Ultimately, there is push because you do get we do have that window of 30 seconds that is available for people to use that has basically become exclusively state for hugging now. That's the hugging hour after it's absolutely essential. One must hug after every official. Of course. If there is something is officially announced, it's hug time. It's not optional. One must go in for the hug. I don't know what would actually happen. I can't even explain to you how it feels. It's just something in your bites. It's intuition at its finest. Human intuition says this ceremony has now ended. It is time for me to get up and hug every person here. Well, Brittany, you were standing at the top of a castle hosting that competition. Did you feel the the draw where you like, Oh, no, I can't hug them. I must air hug them like Julie did. I was like, how do I send you hugs?

How do I say? Because it's hug time. Isn't it? I've just announced the rules to this competition, which we probably do want for good measure. It's always hug time. So yeah, it's it's unfortunate that hug time took up all the strategy time, but rules are rules. Rules are rules. Any intuition is intuition. Yeah. And D said her intuition was telling her to vote out Rick Devins. Brittany, do you feel like that once D and Angela had made up their mind, they wanted to vote out Rick Devins. Can they put that toothpaste back in the tube? Could they be working to not get Rick Devins evicted now that it didn't happen? They can put it back in the tube for as long as it's easy, right? But the next time that they have any opportunity, they're absolutely going to take the next opportunity because he's only proven the concept that they're going to be difficult to get rid of him winning the blockbuster is kind of validating that in their minds. So I don't think that they're necessarily going to aggressively go after it this week or even the next, but should that opportunity represent itself and it's up there on a silver platter? I think they'll absolutely

capitalize on it. And frankly, I don't know. The numbers aren't quite to where I would say it would go the other way as well, but it might like I could see Rick Devins having the exact same mentality when it came to Angela who he probably considers that Angela and D are much closer than he is with Angela. That whole kind of thing. I could see any one of those icons taking that opportunity if it was available to them easily, but I don't see them like necessarily going out of their way to achieve that. It's not the clearest path forward. I'm starting to think that maybe we could even see like a D wins HOH in the double eviction and I could see you're putting Rick Devins on the block. Yeah, like a double eviction situation. And maybe also if you didn't have the blockbuster and play the blockbuster such a wamp wamp on your power as an HOH to get rid of somebody. So maybe it's got to come to a point where the blockbuster is no longer a thing. But I definitely think that there will come a point where yeah, I mean, they're going to have to eat each other eventually.

It's they they are all in the awareness that it's a much more difficult route to victory against one another than it is against anybody from the other side who's not going to have a fraction of the resume. And Brittany, who would be your maximum chaos HOH to find out is now the new HOH tomorrow morning. Um, good question. Probably melody because I think that in Taylor as well might nominate all three icons. And I think that that would be immediate division and immediately cause a lot of chaos. But that being said, I could be surprised. There have been times where somebody won HOH and I was like, Wamp Wamp, we're in for a loser week. And then it turns out it was not half bad. So you never turn what do you think if there was a scenario where imagine this all three icons end up nominated. Do you think that this would actually divide them or do you think that they might feel like hey, backs against the wall, they might end up start working closer together?

Yeah, I mean, it depends on what happens with the veto, I would say, that until the veto competition, they probably won't fry too hard to fight amongst each other themselves. And then once if one of them does get taken off the block, then they kind of are like, well, we need each other's votes, whoever's coming off the block, we need the crosstovers. But if the veto happens and the veto meeting happens and they're all still on the block coming into Thursday, then yeah, we're going to start to see a lot more fingerpoint. And Pooja, you're going to have a decision to make in about an hour or so whether or not you're going to open a red bull tonight to watch the feeds until the sun comes up. And when that's happening, what will be your most preferred outcome? Honestly, I think for me, if a non-icon wins, I'm tuning it. I'm ready. That can is getting racked. It's going to have that down to five. You'll find out who the HOH is before you pull the tab.

You know me, Rob. I've made the mistake before of doing it now. And then I drink it. And then it then feeds going on for four hours and then they come back at one a.m. and the worst outcome happens. And I'm stuck now. So I do wait now, especially because my sleep schedule is somewhat adjusted. I no longer have the stamina to withstand it. I do need to make the decision. But yeah, any non-icon HOH would be fine by me, especially because Bruce is outgoing, so he's not in it. I think, because I think Melody would put up icons. I think Taylor would put up icons. I think Barrett would be fun because we know he'd put up icons and he'd have to break all of them. And then Yash can't put up icons, but he'll have to put up allies. And I think that would be extra chaotic also figuring out how to, you know, from the navigate that. So there are a lot of good outcomes. Yeah. Meaning when feeds come back in Devons 1, I'm going bye-bye. I will I will tell you based on what I'm seeing right now. I'm here. I'm reading so I can't confirm that this is true, but I'm reading that D and Angela are already talking about if they win,

they would probably try to backdoor Drew or Barrett this week. Okay. Not surprising at all. I mean, that's expected, right? Yeah, like they're not going to, it makes more sense. I think the reason they were going to take out Devons was because he was on the block. Oh yeah, because it was easy. Yeah. Exactly. They were worried he was working with Drew and Barrett. If they can just take out Drew or Barrett, that's better for them. Yeah. But if they will they get enrolled Rick Devons in doing that? Or they blindside them. Honestly, they probably could. Yeah. You know, they they probably, I mean, they might blindside him for the sake of it. But I think if they gave him enough reasons, he would go for it, especially because there are actually plenty of real reasons why you might do it to Barrett. And if you're a Yash or Taylor or Melody on the block, you have plenty of reasons to Barrett out to save yourself. So there's a lot of there's a lot of room to maneuver you. I love to talk a little bit more about Barrett because Brittany, I felt like that Barrett,

I don't know what Barrett wants because that in the episode tonight, we saw Barrett repeatedly like they were going to Barrett and it's like, hey Barrett, we trust you. But yeah, he's got to pick a lane because they shouldn't trust him. He's like, oh, I get it. You don't trust me. It's like, yeah, but you're also not trustworthy. You're also flippant against them. So you can't call them out for not trusting you when you are also voting against them. Okay, sure. I guess that's one school of thought. Or is he just like savvy and kind of playing everybody in a way that's like a good social game? Not that they don't, I mean, I think that they distrust him, but they know they need that number, right? And they are basically considering him like the easiest link to pull in for that number, but they think that they have him completely duped and fooled and he's not. You know, would you have more respect for him if he was just saying, okay, yeah, sure, you got it,

no problem. I'm going to vote your way. Absolutely not. I think the fact that he is being at least has his eyes open and is aware. And frankly, him going to the other side is an act of self preservation because he had the awareness from early on to say, I'm at the bottom of this. Sure, as long as it's easy, let's let this carry me, but I know I'm on the bottom. I know I'm the low hanging fruit that's going to be the first to go, which is why he chose to pivot. I respect that so much more than I respect somebody who just blindly follows along. And they are obviously like the lowest, you know, of the hierarchy of the alliance. And they never come to the awareness. I'm kind of talking about myself a little bit PTSD. And they never like really wake up to it and realize it. I like it that he had the reflection and the awareness to say, I got to pivot. And yes, he can play the middle, but really they're the ones that are duped in this situation, not him,

because they are they think that he's a number and he isn't. I don't see the problem, Rob. What's the problem? I don't like that he's indignant about it. I don't like I just feel like be about it to the stop the stop like being like, oh, like, yeah, I feel like I get it. You don't trust me. You know, I like he has flipped. So like, yeah, I mean, they are right not to trust him for sure. But also what they're doing is not honestly saying like, we don't know, we have some they're trying to manipulate him. And I feel like that he's calling it out that that's what it is. Like when you saw the scene of them just randomly, you know, amassing in the storage room to do a group hug. He's calling it out that like, this is so obvious. I like that a lot better than somebody who's just like, wow, that was so sweet. And it came into hug me. That was great. I really appreciated it. Like, like, I kind of like that he's in the know about it as opposed to just being oblivious. Like Rob, if for me, I'm I start with bringing out this up because if you're

going to manipulate me, do it so that I don't see it coming because once I know you're trying to manipulate me, I'm going to be indignant about it. I'm going to be very shady because like, how dumb do you think I am? Like really? Like scam me? You know, like, I want to be scammed. I do not don't do it lightly. Do it properly. He said to the cameras the other day. He said, he called it from Angela when she came in saying, I trust you. He said that was acting for a low budget movie. Yeah, exactly. So I mean, I don't know. I don't have a problem with it. I really don't. Like it's self preservation for him. He's going to take whatever is the path of least resistance that week, even if it's, you know, against what he maybe would do in an ideal world. But of course, he's not going to just blow up his game and be like, no, guys, actually, I hate you. And I don't trust you at all. Why would he do that? That's self sabotage. Like he is still trying to stay in the game. Yeah. Now we did get a little bit of a mastermind at it. I thought from Angela tonight,

Aaron, when we got shades of Angela and her Angela senses, she looked outside and she could tell that it was Yash and Melody and Taylor talking and shades of BB26. As Angela said, hey, they look too happy. That's the group, Rob. That's the group. That's the group. She said most of my reads were good on 26. And maybe we can count. Maybe we can tally up. But she's not wrong about this one. And she has been, she has been generally right. In fact, it was this morning that she said that she caught Yash, Melody and Barrett talking, which made her think I think Barrett's actually going to flip and vote out Devon. And she was right. Now what are they going to do with that? Now it's still just a theory. It wasn't confirmed. And then later they were like, maybe they maybe he won't. I'm not sure. We're not going to not sure. But Angela's paranoia is definitely correct in this instance. So yeah,

whatever happened by the way to the spy kitchen window, I noticed that when she was staring out the back glass, I was like, wait, there used to be that window in the kitchen where you had like a secret spy point of view over the whole backyard. And because she was like coming from the side, what happened to our spy window? It's just like floating shelving now. Good question. I wonder when that went away. When did it go away? We always had the spy window. It was great. Brittany, how are you feeling about Angela at this point in the game? She definitely made the right decision, I think early on to link up with Devons and D. Angela, I think, was, you know, not this isn't shady, but I think she was included on the season for entertainment value. And I think that if you are someone who's entertained by Angela, you've probably been, I mean, she hasn't had a crazy like crazy eyes blow up really, but she's given us some lively moments. Yeah, she's given us some lively moments. So I would say that she's

doing her job and probably making it further than maybe she ever anticipated that she would. And I think that she's in a good place of the icons because I think that she's perceived to be the least threatening between Devons, D and herself. So really, I think that she's in a pretty good place. Now she keeps losing allies. That's not great. But with Haley and now obviously Lala, but overall, you know, they've just, they've just had it really easy. Like, would I stay here and go, oh, wow, she has just navigated uncharted waters and done it like an expert. No, I think the icons have just had it really easy. But if you are someone who enjoys watching Angela for the entertainment value, I'm sure you are entertained sufficiently. Yeah. How about Drew where he's the outgoing H.O.H. She had a weird moment in the episode tonight when he told Barrett about, hey, also maybe you should stop wearing Malarie's headbands on your arm. And then he said, why did did he and Angela say

something and Drew's like, yeah, psych just kidding. No, they didn't. I, but I'm you're sussing me out for that. And like Rick Devons had to like dress him down like do not do this again. Yeah. Do not do this again. Barrett was also very weirded out about this. Yeah. Just a classic Drew move. Mm-hmm. Just joking around about dumb things for no reason. Yeah. Okay. And Devons like school is fact checking me. Okay, but but that's not what Drew said. He's called the headband. I'm quoting Drew. I think it that doesn't change anything here from me, right? It's essentially the same thing. But yeah, Drew is the classic. Drew is a always the messenger and be always the most likely messenger to get shot. I don't know how he does this and brings this upon himself. But the man loves to talk and talk too much. And somehow we'll always be in a position where people are going to find it weird that he's doing it. And he hasn't learned it from like week

one week two. He hasn't learned from week three. Here we are. Less than a month left at the end of the season. And he's getting his own closest ally pressed about this. Let the man have his, let the man have a scrunchy. What are we doing here? Let him have a scrunchy. Yeah. Barrett fully believed this came directly from Angela and D. By the way, he did not think it came from Drew at all. So Drew did just get Angela and D. I mean, not that they're all not in trouble with Barrett already, but it did just land on Angela and D there. Yeah. And his dad had to tell him like that was a bad move. Don't do that again. Well, yeah, because his dad's on the block and he's like, I need that guy. Yeah. So could you like shut it? We're his best friends. We love him. Trust him. Hug time. Hug time. I don't like that we're calling him his dad after the things I've seen on this fan picture. Yeah. I'm like, they're baby. Yeah. Have you seen any fan fiction about Drew and Rick

Devins together? Yeah. I have, but I don't want to talk about it right before bedtime. Right. I need to, yeah, I need like a lot of hours that separates me from slumber. Yeah, that's we're going to bring that up. That's too late. It's too late in the night. I don't trust it. That tracks that tracks. Okay. The battle. Sorry, the blockbuster tonight. This was another all-timer I thought in terms of the blockbuster, especially with Taylor going ahead and then having the kill shot on Rick Devins, being able to place the last ball and then Rick having to come from behind to win. Yeah, this was this was really intense for a big brother competition. And I think a huge part of it are there two major aspects. I think one is that like usually you watch this competition and there's one person who just like steam rolls through it and nobody else is close. That's lame. So the fact that it was neck and neck was great. It's good to

have people of equal competition prowess. And then number two, we were able to see what was happening pretty much the whole time. They had this great wide shot of all three tubes that we were constantly cutting to. And so we watched yes, as like Devins gets out to an early lead. Taylor catches up, but we know that if the timer runs out, the tiebreaker is that Devins got to two balls first. And so she's going to have to get a third one in. And I do wish we had a timer. I think that would have been nice to see. Yes. But then yes, Taylor gets the third ball. And Devins still is down and stuck in two needs to get two balls in order to win now. And the time could run out at any moment. And Taylor's taken like a shot. And if she gets it in, it's over. And Devins coming in with two in a row was just wild. I mean, it was really like he was so close to being evicted here. And you know what? We don't get a lot of these in big brother. These

like actually good competitions where you see what's happening and it's neck and neck and there are real consequences. So I stoked it in while I could. These black busters this season, they really have been neck and neck where there was the of course, Angela versus Kamu versus Haley. There was the Chuck versus Haley versus Barrett also. And it's just been really, really great. Brittany, are you happy you didn't play in the blockbuster era? Yeah, because I'm not good at competition. So especially like a blockbuster competition. Well, that's not true. I guess they had the one that's like run around and look at the pictures. But normally they're like carnival game style. And it's way to, you know, it's a complete bloop sometimes. Like who's going to win this thing? In particular, I disagree with any competition that involves a ball pit. Like it's just stupid. I don't I hate that double eviction veto. And this is slanderous

because I was literally just visiting last week with the games guy. He's very nice. I don't like a ball pit. I hate that veto competition. It's always on the double eviction where they got to run down the lanes and the ball pit. Yes, I hate that competition. It favors someone with a higher body mass period end of story. It's not like the, you know, outsides of those little squares was like height compensated for the difference of, you know, what it's taking you to get over the wall and then dig through the balls. You are absolutely the smaller you are. You are at a disadvantage in that competition period. I think that Taylor did very well. And I'm not, you know, I guess it doesn't have to necessarily be fully physically equivalent on every competition. You can make that argument, I suppose. But this one is in particular one that's just to me, you have an advantage if you have more physicality. And not that Rick Devins is like an athlete. Let's be serious. But he's a bigger guy. It's going to be easier for him to dig through the balls

and to get into the ball pit anyway. And Taylor was gassed at the end of that competition with with an equivalent number of going in and out. And I mean, that's because that's not easy to do. Has has a female ever won that veto? Can anyone pull that up for me? I don't think that they have ever. Lauren, Lauren did last season. Okay, fine, Teran coming with the hard facts. That was the game. 27th. Long time. Well, you know, I have visions of Frank Udy just freaking leaping over, you know what I mean? Like hurtling over the thing and we were like desperate to get this man out. I just don't have a good association with the ball pit comps. I don't like, I just don't. You're very right. I mean, like this competition and the clown shoe iteration of it, like, yes, but they does tend to favor larger athletic guys most of the time, but certainly athletic women can also perform pretty well in this. And I do think for what it's worth too that like,

I think that Taylor was still moving faster than Devons was, but he was getting the balls faster, which I think speaks to, well, a couple of things. One is, yeah, I think like just like sheer body mass, you're going to be able to move balls and find them more easily, which clearly was the case. He also knew the strategy of try to collect as many as you can ahead of time. Yeah, you could have read there. Let me know about that. But thanks, too. Yeah. Him getting those balls faster, I think gave him like one full extra shot over Taylor after they had tied, which obviously was the shot he needed to win. So, you know, yeah, like just that physicality is huge. And it's in it's a huge reason why Lala, you know, had far fewer shots than either of the other two. Like there was just no shot for she would have to get every single ball in the tube every single time she shot every time she's winning this competition. Yeah.

Right. Yeah, I'm not a fan. Now, true big brother fan would know that Julie did once spoiled the way to play this comp and that is to do the ball and Rick Devon's knew how to do that. But I will say the other thing they've added to this that I don't like and this is, you know, a personal complaint for me. I don't like that there's a little bit of stairs to go up and down. I don't like that at all. There's why yeah, well, I don't want to try to give my steps in. I'm trying to stay in the big brother game. We don't need to do all that because also not for nothing, you miss one step. Guess what now you're just on the floor for three minutes while everyone else is playing the comp. Well, we're exfelling one of the blockbusters this season. He did. Yeah. Yeah. We didn't see it, but we heard about it. We did. Yeah. All right. So ultimately it was Lala who ends up being evicted tonight. And I thought that Lala would have an incredible segment with Julie. We know that Lala was been one of Julie's favorites all season long. Lala, she has her signature phrase that she says to Julie, you're my sister

from another Mr. Yeah. She finally got that validation because she has been saying that every single week and it's never been acknowledged. But she did not get the what's pop in Drew. She did not get the sister from another Mr. Latrice. In fact, you know, it was it would go like it was like crickets. Okay. Every time she said it, it was just like stoic like, all right, cash to vote to the big. So today she finally got the validation that she's been seeking. And in fact, yes, Julie gave her sister from another Mr. So she feel seen and that's wonderful. Yeah. Julie was very high on Lala as the one of the older contestants. Somebody who also has a faith is a very important thing to Lala. So called Devon's middle aged. She did. She did. Yes. A middle aged survivor. Yes, I think here. And Devon survived the middle ages. But can this middle aged survivor survive the night? And the crowd laughed. Definitely not told to laugh either.

Like that was genuine. Amusements. Yeah, they liked that a little too much. But that is probably the most newscaster way she could have delivered that headline. So yeah, maybe it was more of an homage to her. Yeah. But I thought that Lala was and this is the highest compliment. High some ask of that she was really just like a live wire in the interview with Julie. Yeah. I mean, it's reminding me of the preseason when she was so good in those interviews and we were like, how could she be anything but beloved in this house? She's just she's really good at interviewing. I the fact that like that she was able to take the cue from Julie when she was like, we're you sometimes really confused? Yeah. I was sometimes really confused. Yeah, it was just like a great moment that like not a lot of reality contestants would be willing to do for this take of like a good interview to be like, no, not really. I was I knew everything. What do you mean? Yeah. She's just she's just so electric in these interviews. It was really fun to say.

Brittany, what's the key to nailing the interview with Julie? Oh gosh, I don't know. I think that people just like, you know, in general, I say the same thing about the diary room, just like speak normally. Don't speak like you are giving a speech or you know, that it's some sort of like a very formal arrangement. Just if you just like let it flow naturally, I think that that's the way to go. What did Rick Devon's doing in the diary room that was so annoying? Was it tonight or last night? When he said it was devastating. Oh, no, no, no, no. Yeah, maybe that was it. Was it when he pretended to cry about his Zingbot segment? Yes, he did do that last night. Okay. That's exactly the opposite of what I'm talking about. Right? That's going in as a like a knee slapping, low brow comedy, like dad Joe. That's the opposite of what we want to see in the D.R. Nobody wants you to come in with your stupid cheesy line and be like, that didn't hurt my feelings. I don't I appreciate it

at all whatsoever. But don't do that. Just be normal. Just like let normal conversation flow. I think is the resounding. Well, you get that from Rick when he does cam talks that he doesn't do that in the diary room. They have to like rely on him to his cam talking to get like the actual authentic thoughts about them. Right. And I think they love him in the diary room though because the way that he presents that way, oh my god, it makes it so easy for them to like put together the packages, right? He's like editing dream boy. Like I think that they love it. They can count on him to come in and do the stuff that for example, I never wanted to do, which was like tell us what you saw in the backyard. You know, Rick Devins has got like some stupid pun right in his pocket. Like he's you know, he's always going to be able to paint the picture perfectly and make their job super easy. So I think they love him. It's not what I like to see. You know, I would lean more towards a Mallory screaming with foam in her mouth, spittle, spittle being ejected from her

lips as she screams bloody murder in the diary room. 10 out of 10. Love it. Like go unhinged behavior. Love that. Don't enjoy like a pre planned little little bit. Pretty people have been saying that melody was reminding them of you a little bit, especially early in the season when she's talking about Haley. What do you what do you think about melodies? I think that melody is in the D.R. in that way, right? Like she doesn't show up really like character of herself or you know like formal. Like she just got what she was doing was going in and complaining and it felt very honest and it felt like you were really kind of getting a peek into her thought process, which is exactly what I'm speaking about. Like just make it feel genuine. And if you want to go in there and in bitching on plain perfect and you know that's what I think she was doing that was working really well and resonating with everybody because it also helped that everybody paid the dog in the first place. I mean it was you know people were really appreciating

what she was saying. But yes, I think that she does well because she doesn't present that way. Yeah. What do you think about the Zingbot coming for her comedy? You know since episode one, I haven't thought about her comedy one time. I've never, it's slipped my mind. I forgot all about that. I've thought of her as the, what is she? A first-day show host? Yes. I think we've heard her talk about, didn't she say something to Drew one time on an episode, something about being a host or hosting a game or something? I don't know. I forgot all about the comedy bit. So Zingbot, I re, I feel like he just didn't have a lot to say at a melody. But that was it. That's kind of like a deep dive there. Like I said it might have been a lot of your, her comedian lifestyle has been like this ongoing storyline that we've seen week after week. I feel like if you stepped in any time after episode one, you were like, what? You were probably confused by that. Right. Yeah. I think it's a, this kind of a failed Zing if the reaction is, oh, she's a comedian.

Yeah, it's a fail. That's a big fail. I didn't think D's was good either. It was like, oh, you know, basically like you, it was a downgrade from Rachel Riley. It wasn't personal enough to D. You know what I mean? Like it was like, okay, that's a nod to Rachel Riley, I guess, but it's not necessarily anti-D. Like I felt like that was a fail too. I don't know why they don't call me. I really don't shouldn't they? I begged. Yeah. I said it. Right. I said it to them. You were right. Never thought I won't even charge you my consultant, C.F. Like I on the house pro bono. Yeah. Let's get something cooking. Have you actually had that conversation with them? They say, hey, we got this. We're good. I actually did say that because in like a joke fashion. Yeah. And then they rolled out what they were doing for the twist. And I was so I don't think I would have thought of that. They were like, okay, so there's going to be a stone of safety. And then it's going to and then they're going to go back in the house. And then

they're going to deliver this stone of safety. And since somebody out to battle the other competitor and then that person is going to go back in the house. And I was like, okay, turns out maybe you're good. Maybe you're good here on this operation because I don't I don't think my mind would have come up with all that. I really don't. I think I think they they that means they do need you. They need somebody who won't come up with that. I do not think I could have come up with that. Yeah. That maybe maybe lose me on that meeting. Did you say to them? I don't know if you're going to be able to fit this all in one episode. No, but it was comical to me. This is how like real this show is, right? Like I even have more of an appreciation for the more behind the scenes that I've seen. And basically now I feel like I can be a full blown employee. I've seen literally everything. It's crazy. It's really wild how little you see behind the scenes when you're playing the game. They really shield you from that because they really want that kind of fish bowl effect to be at its maximum so that you aren't thinking about what all is happening behind the scene.

And they do a really good job of it. So it's only whenever I participated on reindeer games and then have gone back for talking to Julie or like this time, especially. This was a huge like I saw places I've never seen on that lot. Whenever I hosted the competition and it gave you so much more of an appreciation for how diligently they are working behind the scenes and just like what a massive undertaking the entire thing is in general. I mean, it's it's crazy. Command central for those games is wild. Like I was like, surely we could narrow down some of these buttons. Like we can't need all 3,000 of these. There's it's not possible. There's got to be like four important buttons. Even though there's, you know, it's like looking at like a one of those like massive sound boards in a recording studio. Like how can you possibly need all of these dials? It was kind of like that. But no, he's over there just doing magic on that thing. Anyway, point being I had just a more clear understanding

of everything that goes into the process and it's really crazy. It's wild just how much effort it truly takes to do one competition and they're doing this, you know, how many times a week. And so them realizing kind of in real time, announcing we're turning the feeds off. And then obviously Saturday morning being like, so turns out there's literally no way this is going to happen. And then just forfeiting the entire bit and being like, yeah, we'll turn them back on because it was the other option. They said they sit on it till Wednesday and have the feeds up. They couldn't do that. People were going to literally write for already mad about Sunday. So they were like, yeah, just give it up. Turn them back on. Just hit the button. It turns out there's that was I think like an actual in the moment like game time decision of like, this is not possible. And I think that they trimmed it down as much as they could. And it was just not going to happen. Yeah, much there. Yeah.

So you talked about coming back to talk with Julie. And I felt like that we were on such a good role this season with Big Brother unlocked in its second season where especially, yeah, we had Ross Matthews, but we also had Josh Martinez and we had Danielle Reyes and things were going so well. And then Julie advertised a celebrity superfan was going to be joining us. And it was comedian Jay Moore is here. Now, Karen, we first saw Jay Moore a couple of weeks ago. He was testing the blockbuster with Julie, one of these, I think it was the Paw Patrol week of that June. Well, that being stated the. I am DB this right now. Is he voicing one of those pups? Somebody you don't think so. I'm gonna look it up. Did he get like a free free Paw Patrol gift? Did he get the press box? I don't think so. What's the underlying message here?

I thought when it because like that was that was another night where Julie brought in like a guest. And I don't remember who it was that night. But I was like, oh, I guess it's going to be like, I think it was Josh Martinez. Right. Yeah. It was like, okay, I guess he was just there to tell the blockbuster. But now here he is. Yeah. The one connection that I can think of is that and I don't know who else here is old enough to remember Jerry McGuire. But in the movie, Jerry McGuire that Jay Moore plays the rival agent to Tom Cruise. Hold on. I just cracked the code too. I just cracked the code. Yes. That was they were both trying to sign Jerry O'Connell. Okay. Listen. Did you know that he is married to Jeannie Bus? Okay. Oh, she is a long time big brother fan. Yeah. She was the I think that they've sold the Lakers now correct me if I'm wrong. Yeah. Lakers ownership. Yeah. Huge big brother fan.

Okay. Well, yeah. I know that the former head of casting for brother, not the current, but the former was very, very good friends with her. And she was a huge big brother fan since I've been on. I recall it being a very big deal that she followed me on Twitter. Yeah. He is married to her. Wow. So there you go. I just cracked it. As of 2023. And he's been a fan of big brother since Big Brother 25. It would have been three seasons ago. Okay. So the match inspired that Netflix show running point. Yes. I believe so. Yes. I believe it's based on the league. Okay. So hold on, everybody. Julie's going to go on a wild ride with Jay Moore where we're going to ask Jay Moore. Who are your favorite players this season? Who are the standouts to you? Who are your favorite? I was team Kamu. You know, we have similar interests. Who's not? Who's not? Who amongst us? I mean by that. Not team Kamu. Yeah. Similar interests. Yes. Yes. What a wild thing to say on

television. Tell me you're not connected to like social media in literally any former fashion. Right. Whatever she is. Julie. Move as quick as she did to help this man. Yeah. Yeah. What do you mean by that? Yeah. She was like, let me help you out. We're going to break. We're going to clarify here. She was like, so you mean you like wrestling? And he's like, I like wrestling and Christ. Yes. Look, I like you mean wrestling. Wrestling and Christ. Of course. First. Yeah. And I love that when her like bazoonga hard eyes came out. That's when like the stars really started to shine right at that moment. Because that's I believe in alignment. Yeah. Wrestling and Christ. Great podcast name for whatever they end up working on later. Like that would be a vendagram for them. So you say, okay. All right. Well, you know, Kamu and I have butter and jelly. Wrestling and Christ. Do you know what I mean? Like the two just go. It just it just rolls off the tongue. Wow. Okay. Can you top Kamu and I have a lot in Kamu and what

what else you got J more? Yeah. She gets like a far away looking around when the stakes are really high. It's almost like you can hear the theme from Halloween playing in the background. Like she goes somewhere. Crazy. Crazy. What? What was that genuinely? This man tried to sink himself self-destruction in real time. What is what is he thinking? What what was that? I don't know. Taylor goes to a far away place where the theme of Halloween. Oh my god. He wasn't. Yeah. Somebody did not train him. Did they not be in her view him, Brittany? I don't think so. And Julie was trying. She's throwing the lifeline out. You know, she was like saved. I self. Oh, I didn't love him. She loved J more. I think I do think she did. I also think that part of her was like, I'm going to give you, I'm going to extend this for you so that you can clarify. And the thing he didn't. That's when she wanted him in the house. She said we want

we want you to play celebrity big brother. She's. She's sure. He also did. You noticed came straight from the golf course. I couldn't even be bothered to change in to like like a button up. Yeah. Like he was wearing straight up dry fit. Like straight up dry fit. Moisture wicking. I guess maybe he thought he might play the block. There was a me a twist blockbuster again. Yeah. He might play the blockbuster since that was just like a soft tease a few weeks ago when he was going to come in this time and do it for real because he was ready with his his golf gear. Last week we had every big brother alumni under the sun there. There was nobody we could have kept around. Who would you have had? Hmm. I mean any big besides yourself. Don't flatter me. Don't patronize me Rob. Given honest answer. I mean we haven't heard from Dr. Will this season.

Well first you have to assume that it's coming eventually right? Like I didn't. Yeah. I didn't think that the 1000th episode felt right without Danny Reyes but they had had her the week prior. So you know like I assume the Dr. Will's and he's going to pop up at some point. Wait was it? Was he not there with how he yeah he was. He was already there with how he's that embarrassing. I forgot. Yeah. In the premiere maybe old bookend but well he was there like via zoom right. I don't know if he was there. Yeah. But oh was he not really there? He didn't join the house like how we did he was like he had like a video that played. I'm obsessed with how the way. I mean he is somebody if you haven't talked to him and long enough you need to give it you need to give it a longer amount of time. Give it up things to say. Okay we should have him on the podcast. Yeah. Yeah. He spent. Yeah. I don't think he's ever been on the podcast. I talked to him like in like 2005 like when he had just come off of big brother six but I don't think I'd ever

talked to him in a professional podcasting capacity. Well you should. He's very funny and a good time and he will raise your eyebrows definitely. All right. That's my I'm giving my resounding endorsement. Jay Moore raised Julie's eyebrows with a never before heard take that he gave to her. The person that should win big brother always wins big brother. Oh. Oh. Whoa. I love that. I did not expect the unexpected. I didn't expect that. Okay. She never heard that big brother. In 26 years, Julie's never heard that that that take. You know what? I applaud it. Yeah. He really fell flat on his face this entire inner I mean he really flopped. There were only you know three or four softball questions and he really managed to just fail him all. Big big F big fail. Yeah. I mean it you can't be that much of a fan if that's your opinion. You

you really can't. Well he's a new fan Brittany. He's just found the show in the last couple of years. Which lends itself to the question. What are we doing? Yeah. Do we think do we think that he watched originally when Jag one or did do we think that he watched amazing race and thought that was big brother? Could be. Yeah. Could be. I don't know. Did you watch that season of amazing race? I did. Yeah. Yeah. Me too. For me. Sorry. I'm not that big of a fan of the show. The amazing race has nothing to do with all the lovely people who compete at it. I just oh my god. It was really clocking in for me week after week. Yeah. In 90 minutes. In 90 minutes. Oh. You know how much I hate a 90 minute episode of anything. Mm hmm. Of anything. Yeah. Survivor you are the worst defenders by the way. Three hour premieres. You want me to sit through a James Cameron film of a premiere of a reality TV show. This is ridiculous. We have got

we have lost the plot. Have you been rewatching survivor 50 this summer after big brother? No, but it cracks me up. This is so rude, but that has got to be just the cheapest airtime. Like are we paying the advertisers at that point? Like why are we re-running a program that premiered six months ago? What have you missed it? There's no way to watch it if you missed it, Brittany. Oh, except for the app where it lives and it's entirety like. I literally watch it with commercials. Tell me that you have nothing else to fill the gap. Like we couldn't even put it put in that show, you know, the bad sitcom that comes on sometimes on after big brother. You can't rerun that. It makes a little bit more revenue like that's crazy to me. Crazy. I whenever I have to watch the live episodes, which I do often, that is the only time basically that I watch like true network TV is when I'm watching survivor 50 and when I'm watching big brother. That's it. Otherwise,

I'm pretty much all streamers. These commercials, they get me going. I mean, who watches this show? Who is watching these shows? Do you have the favorite commercial? I mean, that sitcom show is bad. Which one? Oh my god. The one with the girl looks like a team who carry underwood. The main girl. Oh, Georgian man. Yeah, that is bad. She's like carrying her one before she fell down the stairs. Remember that? Anybody else? Okay, that's who that girl looks like. And when that show freaking comes on, it is so it is so painfully bad. I really genuinely asked myself, who is this for? Yeah. Who look within the young children cinematic universe? Oh my god. It is. Reseasoned painful. Yeah. But then it makes sense to me whenever sometimes I'm watching the show. And I feel like I had this moment of clarity yesterday when it was thogged on the episode. And she was like, my goal on this part of the competition is to stack these items

as much as high as I can get them. And as structurally sound as I don't think she used those words for left as possible before I run and get the second back, like explaining to us the most obvious freaking thing. And what do you mean? We know. Like we're watching you. We don't need you to actually tell us what you're doing step by step. No one needs that. And then I see that commercial come on. I'm like, I think some people need it. Yeah. I think some people need it. I really do. It makes sense to me now. Why we think that we have to really guide the viewer sometimes. You know, I wonder what it's all for. But then those programs make it clear to me that there is a portion of the viewing audience. It's like, hold on. What's Hayley doing? They're out there. Brittany, we heard stories of and from watching the show, it did seem like it was a really hot night in the Big Brother backyard. I know. You guys were so exaggerating about that. Oh, a hundred and thirteen degrees. I live in Oklahoma where it's actually a hundred and thirteen degrees.

What? It was not a hundred and thirteen degrees. Everybody calm down. It was was it hot? Yes. And I think that the guys wearing those like hers and things. I think that they were really, really hot. They had it much worse than I did, for example. But a hundred and thirteen degrees. It was the middle of the night. It was two a.m. Whatever the low of the day was that day is what temperature it was. Yeah. What about the scale of like if Zingba had been there that night? Would Zingba have passed out or no? Did you notice that they moved Zingba to the very safe adjacent warehouse where he got to be indoors for his competition? That is because we're learning. We're learning from experience. And every since that Zingba almost died. And I'm sure the legal department was, oh my god, on fire that day. They were like, we dodged a bullet. Like we have never even considered good happen. They moved Zingba to an indoor competition very wise. Good choice.

Pretty neat. But what if maybe died? Many of your co-hosts attempted a English accent hosting on episode one thousand and you chose not to. Was that a choice for you? Okay. I cannot speak for my co-host. I was not instructed specifically to do an accent. So I believe this to be just like an artistic choice. And for my own self, I did not elect to make that artistic choice. In the car on the way back to the hotel, I was saying to Cody that I was like, you know, I'm not really like I'm not someone who enjoys corniness in general. And so when I must to perform corniness, there is a little part of me that's like, I like I hesitate a little bit. And so I was saying this to Cody because I had to deliver the line about like you killed the hog. See the hog or something. Yeah. And so it's a little corny. And so I was saying to Cody, I was like, yeah, I mean, I hope I did okay because I have a hard time sometimes like really leaning into the

bit if it's very against my, you know, true self. And Cody was like, oh, I leaned in. You did. He goes, oh, yeah, I did an accent and everything. And I was like, shut up. You did an accent. Like you leaned in that hard. And he was like, yeah, yes, yes, it didn't act that still was not prepared. I almost peed myself when I heard him on that, on that show with a freaking accent. A British accent too. Like, how do you even choose? It's completely hypothetical. And not given by instruction. Like I didn't deny them an accent that was requested. That was just my choice. I apparently was the only one. I didn't, I didn't know that there was no meeting. There was no, we didn't group up and talk about, let's all get on geographic page. None of that happened. So I just went in there as usual. And it turns out, I guess I just have a lower commitment to

the bit. Yeah. I'm sure you would know. You know, do you? So funny. It's so funny. It's good. I'm really glad that I didn't because it wouldn't have been good. I don't dabble in accent work. I haven't been to some sort of acting school where I've picked up, you know, any amount of education around dialect or whatever. So I couldn't have done it well. So I'm glad that I didn't make that choice. But I'm very glad that Cody did. Me too. Yeah. Me too. So Brittany, when you were there with all the who's who of Big Brother alumni, were there any fun behind the scenes moments with all the alumni together? Yes. Well, I mean for myself, sure. But I'm speaking purely selfishly, but getting to see Dan again was really exciting for me because I haven't seen him in a really long time. And I consider him

a good friend. And so I was really happy to see him. Of course, got to see Rachel. You know, we just don't see each other often. It was sort of you can think of it in terms of like high school reunion. You know, you get to see all these people that you haven't seen in a really long time. I got to see like Ashley from season 14. I haven't seen her since season 14. And we spent three weeks in the jury house together. So just a lot of people that I haven't seen in a really long time. So it was, yeah, it was good vibes and very fun. Yeah. What was the atmosphere at the like when they're on the the lot where everybody was like at the back lot where they had the after party? What was the atmosphere like it was, you know, we weren't given a lot of instruction around like what the party was going to be like really you really didn't know anything to be honest. But the way that it was structured was, you know, they had set up like different vendors, different like food vendors and things for people and passing orders. And there were all kinds of like press opportunities and like you

you know, do photos and things like that. But really like the key centerpiece of the event was they had set up a stage and they had all of the executive producers got up and spoke. The president of CBS was there and he spoke. Julie was there and she got up and spoke. So really I think that it was about kind of honoring production, the people behind the camera that put in all the time in the effort to making the show successful and honoring the milestone and whatnot. And it was good fun for us. We were all kind of enjoying it, but it was like super meaningful for them. I'm telling you they were like tearing up and stuff. Like, but they're a family. They've they bring their kids to the lot and have watched each other's kids grow up and been through, you know, actual life together. Alison and Rich have worked on it together since season three. I mean, they are really like a family themselves completely outside of who's participating in the game if that makes sense. And so I think

that really the point of the evening was to kind of honor the work that they have done to make the show a success over the last 28 season. Yeah. Were you were you excited to be nominated for some big brother awards? I guess, but like I wouldn't have even voted for myself. To me, that was like a clear, there is no question who was going to win the best quote. It's Floters Grab a Life Best all day every day. But you never been a category for best best narrator best best diary rooms. I mean, I wasn't I wasn't like upset about it or anything like that. I'm fine. I'm okay. I'm good. I did. I have one. One of my skanks made me a hamster wheel award and I have I have that. So and I'll tell everybody about it all the time. At least have that, you know, they've honored me.

How does Rachel feel about that award? I don't I haven't specifically asked her. She feels about the award. But I have to take my wins where I can get them. Taren Rachel's actually won the game. You know what I mean? All I have is a is a hamster wheel trophy that is skanks and so I don't think Rachel's too threatened by my accolades. Taren, anything else from tonight's big brother you want to talk about while we're here? I can give you a tease. Oh, which is that this this whole voting situation that I explained where Melody ended up being left out of the loop. She is denying her vote. She's saying that she did vote Lala out and it's actually causing a bit of mayhem because great. People are like, well, did Yash do it then? Is Yash lying? Is Melody lying or did he do this? Yeah. And D actually got very mad at Devons for even asking that she voted that way. And so there's a lot of tension going

on right now. She's like, I'm nominating him and Drew. Him or Drew for sure. Devons. I win. So there's yeah. Wow. So there's, you know, there's there's some chaos brewing. Yeah. See, maybe I was doomsday too soon. This happens from time. Yeah. Brittany, we can get your take on Yash at all during this conversation tonight. You have any feelings on Yash? I mean, Yash has kind of emerged as a lot of people's favorites all of a sudden. I guess because he started winning comps, but his hands are tied right now. Like he can't win H.O.H without nominating all the people that he wants to keep in the game. So I mean, he's essentially worthless in terms of that. And I'm not forgetting about his bro week. Remember when he won his way and he was like, I gotta keep my bro's. Well, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And he still says bro literally every time he's in the diary, I'm not a huge Yash man. I also hate his hair too, which I realized that that's blowing fruit gross. I don't like. I will. And you know what though, I will say about Yash,

he does deliver good DRs too. On the on the subject of like not going into the DR, all scripted he and weird and making like stupid slapstick jokes. Yash has a good job in the DR of just communicating his thoughts and like a very genuine way. So I'll give him props for that. Gross to call his hair lettuce. I'm going to talk about lettuce. You can time machine me to two months ago and I'll still take the talk about lettuce. Yes. Okay. Yeah. Well, I would like to also add on to the Yash D.quick because not enough people are talking about the active defiance Yash has committed the devins his head because I don't like the little B head. Oh my god. We like that. You bring this up. Yeah. I love the challenge. But why do we not talk about this? Yeah. Can we? Yes. What was going on? Okay. So I was wondering actually when I saw it at the top of the episode, my suspicion was that if he lost the blockbuster, he was going to say that that was for Barrett

as a means to try to make their vote to keep him. Yeah. Today on the feeds he was talking to D and he was like I still feel good and do is like I think they might vote you out and he was like they're really going to do this to my head and vote me out in the same night. I don't think so. I swear I was like I think he's going to be like Barrett. But bro, see how it's like a subtle tattoo kind of. But then he announced it was for Becca. So I was probably for her all along. But I had my suspicions that it was for Barrett. In any event, I don't think the yosh is the last person I would be tossing the clippers too. I like the last person that I would be trusting with the clippers. That's just me. Zingbot, this is hair. You heard him. This is hair. I know. You're still like you know what? Yash, fuck my shit up. Like why? Why are we letting him do it? Why is the man who says call me an idiot? But I think it'll work if I nominate myself. There is no justice in this world. Thank you for

reminding me. There's brinney. Is there anything else that's on your mind in regards to big brother or any other topic? Yeah, I wanted to talk to Taryn about his rabies. Yes. I am so hyper alert and scared of rabies. Cautionary tale for me, Taryn. You made the right choice. You got to seek that treatment immediately. If you would have not gone down the vaccination route, you might be locked job right now, foaming at the mouth and trying to bite your neighbors. I felt the same way and then I got the bill yesterday. Oh, it was worth it. What is your life worth, Taryn? How much was the bill? It was the full bill was like $20,000. But I have insurance luckily. So it just maxed out my deductible, which was still unfortunately quite I. Oh my God. Really? Do you have to go back multiple times? Isn't this like a series of vaccines you have to do? I would have had to, but they did end up testing the bat and it came back negative.

So I wasn't clear at the whole time. They had the bad. It's okay. You still made the right choice. It was the right choice. It was absolutely the right choice. If I even see a bat from a distance, I'm getting the like, you know, understand how scared of rabies I am. People don't realize this happens all the time. Yeah. People are just very dangerous. It's very dangerous. When Karan went to robber, you aware of that survivor thing that they did where they went to the I. I'm aware of it. I have not heard any of the stories of the people that you would not see me going to where where they go to Costa Rica. I think it was Costa Rica to go do I wasca with the other and they filmed it too. They filmed it and there was an entanglement with a bat. A bat that was like inexplicably in the housing area, which is like unlike typical bat behavior. And yet this person still didn't see free man. He's still alive. But I was like, this guy's going down. That is a rabies red flag.

If I've ever heard one, I'm so scared of rabies. Yeah. For any why is it that what is it about rabies that has it particularly on your radar? I don't know. It's deadly. It kills a terrible death. It's too late once you know. That's the thing is like you have to be preventative. I mean, there are cases where people don't even realize that they've been bitten or scratched and the next thing you know, they're filming at the mouth, biting their neighbors in the long God. Wow. And it's too late. It's too late at that point. They can't help you once you have incubated long enough to even need the treatment. It's just over for you. Yeah. So I don't know. It's just a particular anxiety of mine. I'm also very scared of rib tides. Really? Yes. What I don't even know what is a special a rib tide? What do you mean? Is it what's special about a rib tide? Yeah. You can be Michael Phelps and Diana Riptide. Like you can be the strongest save someone in it. You'll die. Oh, for sure. I mean, rib tides are so scary to me. I'm like

constantly. If I am in a beach setting, I'm very uncomfortable because I'm doing nothing but scanning for deadly marine life and rib tides. I'm not well. I'm not at ease ever. You're proper fears. Thank you. You know what I mean? I feel like it's not like you're like, oh, I'm scared of fish. You know, like a reptiles are freaking scary. Many an athlete we have lost to a rib tide. Like you it's not even like you can be a bad swimmer. Like you can be the world's best swimmer and the rib tides going to take you and there's just nothing you can do about it. Wow. Yeah. Pull you a bring us back. You need to be more scared. Bring us back. Well, I don't know. Would you rather deal with a rib tide or be locked in a room with Yashin Clipper? Give me Yashin Clippers, right? Yeah. I think I have from that. Terrifying. But would you choose to be your like honorary initial? Oh, that's a good question. Yeah. I think my wife would like it if I shaved her initials.

No, she would not. She would not. She wants me to get a tattoo of her name. Yeah, but she doesn't want you to shave your head. Yeah, but not not shaved your head. I don't know. I think you should do it for Jeff Brooks, like really bow down. Yeah. For survivor 51. If I show up at survivor 51 premiere with like a heart JP in my head, that now would mean something to him, I think. Are you ever are you ever going to be able to communicate with this man one-on-one? Are you going to see him at the premiere? I should see him. I should see him. It's a boy. Yeah. Okay, I want to know like what series of events led to him being forced to appear on Big Brother? Will you ask? Oh, Rick Devons. No, no, no, no, Jeff. Oh, for Jeff to film the thing for, yeah, we could ask him. Was that directly because of his group on the survivor 50 finale? I think he was the team player for the Paramount conglomerate for that. Brittany, you were. Mr. Beast to ask you. Yeah, you actually were a big part of the survivor 50 new cycle where you

you you first broke the story. I did. Did Zach Brown catch a fish that was tied to the bottom of the ocean? Why were people feeling the need to even try to argue with me about that when the it was photographic evidence? Like this wasn't something crazy that only my eyes saw. It was like all you had to do was pause. I didn't do I didn't you know get in a boat and go there myself and look at it with my own eyes and then report it. It was on the same show that everybody else was watching. It was hit the pause button. Is it possible that there was such a rip tide? They could not have Zach Brown swim with these fish. This was the only way to keep it safe. Zach Brown later doubled down on it. And that's when I became aware that I was also in a feud with Zach Brown. I don't understand. You can tell me whatever you want to tell me about spear fishing. You can tell me that there's a line to the gun. Whatever. There's a line to the float. Whatever.

Once you explain to me why there's a line going straight to the sea floor with a shiny metal object attached to the bottom. I will list it. But until that point I'm going to maintain that what my eyeballs saw saw is exactly what I said. And that's exactly the slide that she did not get to go to the reward. I know. Zach Brown she said it was the soundtrack to her life. I know she talked about that on Big Brother. Didn't she earlier this season? She said some she said like oh I think I got oh because they were talking about how he followed her or DMed her and he didn't DM Devons. And she was like oh that was probably because I cried when I saw him. Yeah. Although Puyah that was not her HOHCD. No. Cloth hole. Yeah well make it make sense. Yeah, Lista. Wouldn't be my CDI first though. All right. More Britney's. Britney's teams like we wouldn't have this name CD either. Definitely not. Definitely not. Okay. Britney is there anything else

that's on your mind? I was just going to I mean I thought we want the podcast to end. I was wondering how Terran feels about the people who hate we at him because I randomly saw a couple of those today and I was like who hates Darren. Like why are they mad at you for having an opinion it's weird. How do you feel about it Terran? I'm I listen I'm used it genuinely it happens every season usually at around this point that there's there's people that are like you know I used to really like Terran back in the season where he agreed with me and he doesn't agree with me this season but something's just changed. He's just somehow worse and I can't I can't put my finger on exactly why but he also just happens to not agree with me and I think he's really deteriorated as a commentator. So funny I saw that I I don't know why it like popped up on my algorithm today because I've never I guess really seen them before and I was like why is anybody hate tweeting

Terran like for just watching the show and having an objective opinion. I think that the point is we can all watch it and have different opinions and that's okay. Everybody's villain is somebody else's hero. It's a tale is always time. Well you really do it right Britney you do your content it's on Patreon. So the only people who are listening to you are people who want to be there. There's nobody that is by design. Yes that is by design. This is why I got off of Twitter many years ago. Yeah many. I'm now just you know I just look but I don't tweet. For exactly that reason. Yes. Such a smart way to do it. I love my Patreon community the skanks. We hang out after every episode the following day I do a little recap. It's a good time. Terran has joined me. You've joined me. Yes. It's been because we did traders. Sure. It was great. Yeah. Are you excited about civilian traders? I am excited for civilian traders and of course that's really Puyah's wheelhouse of the trade but I think that it'll be fun because I think that won't be all of the meta

of the oh it's a housewife it's a it's a big brother person it's a survivor person so I think it could be anybody and I think that's something else that's interesting about it is that the money is very meaningful for everybody who's there so I think that's where on the celebrity traders I think for you know present company excluded like the money matters to us but to tell the thing out there I think they're making more from their appearance fee than the actual price point. One hundred percent yeah and they and they care way more about just making good TV as opposed to what might be strategically in their best interest or you know in terms of the game what's in their best interest I agree with you I'm really excited about it. I think that also in terms of just like any batch of newbies that have never played that type of a game before they're not ready for that cutthroat nature gameplay and then you throw in two or three like sociopath adjacent players and it's just a absolute warfare so I think it's going to be really good I'm excited.

Like season one finale with three chefs guests so good. Yeah that's only two weeks away. The civil war. So it's all it's all we're going to be so busy we're going to be busy season busy of course survivors around the corner the amazing races back Brittany. Oh well if I have to choose one to cut off the list. All right well which one might it be I'm not sure. Well it's been a busy day over here I started talking with Eric Stein this morning on the summer of Stein and fun time was had by Eric had a lot to say about the 1000th episode celebration and what did Eric say about it? He had a lot to say about the warehouse. He had a lot really? Yes. He had a lot to say about the chat BCC battle royale now now ramble. Yeah go to BB 20 by the way most ill-timed rebrand

of all that I digress. He didn't know what he there. He know he stayed home. He said he couldn't bring himself to go. Okay. We also talked to thog this morning also check out Tarenna's Ex Interview with Haley and then over on our Patreon I will be live tomorrow at 3 p.m. Eastern. It is Rob it's up my first ever live show I hosted you were on it we had a good time we talked about a bunch of things you know what I'm quite proud of the thumbnail because that that duct tape didn't just get there on its own I fired it. Okay well done.

Wow the legitimacy of this program you guys I mean you're on tour. We're on tour. They really live in the dream. Who you are? International Australian the traders. Oh I've heard it so good. It's been phenomenal Brittany. I've heard it is so good. Listen if you are cutting the amazing race. It sounds like you have some time in your programming. Maybe consider watching this. It's been a very fun season. I believe the finale is going to be next week. Annabelle and I have been having such a fun ride with this. Both covering the episodes and talking to the people who have left the season. Annabelle pull me the ratings are high so I think I think renewal is in the book here. I think we'll be back before. Okay. All right. And then the traders at Rahapcon Brittany we played the traders in person at Rahapcon. Okay. That is going to be posted this Saturday and Mike Bloom was a incredible standard for Alan coming. Check that out. I'm going to drop that on YouTube coming up on Saturday and then we are going to have tickets for

our live show in Washington DC. I don't know what the call to action is here Sam. So be on the lookout for tickets if you're a patron for the live show that's coming up. You're running for office. Looks like I'm running for office. Oh my. Do you call yourself Rahap? Usually RHAP. Yeah. Why did you say Rahap? I thought that I had a run all along. Yeah. Well we say Rahapcon but we didn't say RHAPcon too long. We couldn't workshop that. Yeah. And that date is October 14th of 2026 for our live show in DC. Oh that's not number five. No it says no that's why I say that date is October 14th to 2036. We should we should we should we should we should take in a turn. We should fact check that. And then I'll be in Charlotte for RHAP live for 551 on December 9th. Okay. What was that costume? You did you like that? What was that? Some people say is this AI no the designer something they take my head and they put it on different bodies. Oh and then they

just put your little bell there. It's not AI. There is a person who takes my head and puts it on different bodies. Okay what you're describing is AI. It is AI but an actual part we're paying a human to do this. So you're just doing like the less efficient more expensive route. Got it. Got it. Got it. Got it. Got it. Right. Save the tree. Save the water. Sure. Hashtag El Reno. We got your back. I like the mock neck on you. That's a nice look. Yeah. Yeah. We got a mock neck. I'm a race car driver. Okay. There you go. Sure. There you go. Britney how could people keep up with everything that you're doing? It's pretty easy. I don't have slides. A slide deck or anything but I am on Patreon. Britney underscore Haynes. The skank tank. That's where you find me. I mean I'm on social media too. I don't really care about it though. Yeah. Well Britney what a delight it was. They're so obligated. Oh thank you. I appreciate you guys having me. It's always a fun time.

Yeah. Well thank you so much. You guys work hard. You guys work harder than me frankly. I always do it the next day because I go to bed but not you guys. You're welcome. I was honored to be here. Are you in central time? I am. I love central time. What a treat. Yeah. When I go to the west coast that is the war. You know big brother doesn't come on there until a million o'clock. Yeah. It's horrible and they really like gatekeeper. Like I didn't realize that we had like government oversight on our freaking YouTube TV. But if you try to watch it early they're like no no we sense that you're somewhere else like they're watching. Yeah. Big brothers watching you. No. We'll get you a link if you're ever on the west coast. Oh you have that kind of yeah. Yeah people in our discord they're watching it early so we can hook you up with that. That would be helpful because you know how terrible it is for me to stay up until 8 p.m. West Coast which is 10 p.m. Central time and then the whole length of like last time I was

a Wednesday 90 minute episode forget it. That's my bedtime. Yeah. All right. Taryn what's coming up for you? Live feed update tomorrow. I think we will just keep the new eastern time frame for the Friday. Yeah. Who you guys happy about that? I'm happy about that. I think it's taking a minute. So stay tuned for that. I also have a patreon where I put stuff. Do feel obligated and go there please. I feel very obligate. Max amount of obligation. Max chaos. Max obligation. All right. And yeah.
