#82 Do You Remember the Sacrifice?

About this episode

Welcome back to Finding Joy in the Hard.  On this Memorial Day, do you remember the sacrifices that were made for our freedom? I have to tell you, I often forget. I think about this holiday as a day off; a day to be with family and friends, but I often forget about all those who have died to give us our freedom.

In this episode, I share some thoughts and my experience at the Memorial Day ceremony today—that I had no plans of attending. It was a spur of a moment decision on the way to get my mom, who now lives in longterm care, a Starbucks coffee.

This will be my last daily episode. Going forward, I'll post these mini-episodes twice a week. My next post will be on Thursday.

Be well.
