YouTuber EXPOSES Massive Welfare Abuse In New York

About this episode

In this video, I discuss a supposedly controversial video from YouTuber Tyler Tyler Oliveira who visited the town of Kiryas Joel, a majority Hasidic Jewish community north of New York City. I explain how this video received a lot of negative & strange attention, despite the fact that it is incredibly interesting in my opinion & much of the controversy is due to people taking away what they want to from the segment

How many hours a day do they pray? Three hours a day. Do people have nine to fives? Yes. Like what industries are they involved in here? Instruction. Oh, all the type of industries. And what do you do? I'm a student and also I'm doing home care. What are you studying? I studying tohara. Tohara? Yes. How old are you? Our holy tohara. And who pays for education? I try to work overtime. Over time? Yes. Where do you work overtime? I work home care. Home care? Home care? Yes. Is it like, do you have kids? I have kids, yes. How many kids? Three. How do you afford to raise three kids while being a student? Because I work very hard. I want to study the tohara and very proud. How do you afford to study the tohara though? God help me. Does the American taxpayer help you too? Oh, so yes. Yeah. Tyler Oliviaira is a very successful YouTuber on this platform that is sporting at nine plus million subscribers at the time that I'm recording this video. Now of course he has gotten himself in a bit of controversy as of late according to folks on the internet.com. Because of his style of content and him taking that to specific aesthetic Jewish communities. But for those of you who are unaware, Tyler ends up doing these like little mini documentary style things where he visits various locations around the world, various locations within the United States of America and documents their customs and oftentimes ends up going over little enclaves in this country that are in the United States of America but live separate from the United States of America. And again, for the length of his channel, it appears that he is

going to run into very little problems while doing this particular content. This is a guy who has visited the poop throwing festival in India. He's visited the murder capital of the United States of America. And of course he's visited little Mogadisho in of course Minnesota, which is loaded up with some Mali's that are doing all sorts of other things that were documented by Nick Shirley in his video. And of course the local news media going back a decade. And of course in those particular instances we're talking about massive fraud. In that particular state, however, there's a lot of people that are under the impression that somehow the Mogadisho thing or the Somali thing in Minnesota is somehow an op in order to make you go against Muslims and support the Jews or whatever sort of craziness that you guys come up with in the comments. So in my coverage of those videos, a lot of people ended up living me comments saying that I would never absolutely ever highlight Tyler Oliviares videos, even though I hadn't even heard of them at that moment in time. And the thing is now that I've looked them up now that I've watched a fair number of these videos, I actually liked the style of content. So I guess thank you guys, although I don't appreciate the implication that I wouldn't talk about this because I'm bought off by the Jews because in reality, if you watch his segment about the small town that is just north of New York City, one of the things that you'll find out is that the Hasidic Jewish community that is in that area are actually anti-Zionist Jews.

I know that you guys don't support Zionism, or you guys don't support that the Jewish state and told the Messiahs here, right? Exactly. They are not the Jewish people, they are not us and we are not them. They are not Jewish at all. The state of Israel is a secular state, the same as Japanese, but they call themselves Jewish people. They don't have been no laws, they're taking out kids from the Yashiva, sending them to draft to army to fight Hamas, which they create the problem. If they would listen to the Torah, the whole war wouldn't be. So when I heard this, I actually called up my Musad Handlers, asked them to put me in touch with Benjamin Netanyahu and ask if the Prime Minister would actually offer me not my normal $7,000 per minute fee for making these videos, but actually $14,000. And they told me that Benjamin Netanyahu was actually dead and everybody's keeping it a secret, but the AI version of Benjamin Netanyahu said I was clear to make this video, so that's exactly what I'm going to do for you guys today. I'm going to talk about whether or not Tyler Oliveira actually discovered something interesting and compelling, or whether or not the man has a case of the Hebrew Jebes, and he's just scared.

Now of course, Tyler has also talked about the fact throughout the course of these videos that he has lost sponsorships over this particular subject matter, and I will say while I was doubtful when I initially watched the video that that was in fact the case, I actually lost a sponsor for this particular video topic as well. That's why I'm no longer partnering with long-term sponsor of this channel, Jan Makaz, which is the sleep aid that actually helps you get closer to God, because they decided that they weren't going to touch this subject matter, so now I have to go back to being independent and thank all of you who support this channel, via actualjusticewater.com-slashjoin. Give me the money. Give you. Give me the money. Okay. So the video that we're actually going to be talking about is this one from Tyler Oliveira that was published on January 15, 2026, and it is entitled inside the New York town that was invaded by welfare-addictedjuice.dot.dot. Now of course, there is a later video that came out two weeks ago rather than two months ago that we can talk about in the future if this video does well.

If you guys are interested, again, let me know down in the comments below. But one of the things that I want to point out for everybody out there in the audience is that essentially there are two different descriptions of this video and both are actually incredibly inaccurate. So first and foremost, there is the description that this is basically identical to the video that Nick surely did about the Somalis and all the fraud that was going on with the daycare centers, you know, the leering center and whatnot, and in reality, that is just not accurate for this particular video. Also, in addition to this, there's a description of this that this is Tyler Oliveira doing something anti-Semitic targeting these Jews just because they're Jewish when in reality that is also not the case. In fact, one of the things that this guy praises throughout the course of this particular video is the community and how they work together and how there's such low crime in this area that they're able to do things that you can't do in other communities with much lower trust. Despite 40% of the population living beneath the poverty line, I did not have to worry about getting shot or mugged out here by gangster drug dealers on the corner of every block.

In terms of random violence, I think this is the safest place I have ever filmed that. And volunteer firefighters and EMS. Can you show me what's going on in here? Tell me what you guys do. Basically, we provide the coverage for the fire service, for the village of Kirish, all the counter-pompting. Okay, nice man, some volunteer work, there's some lessons we can learn. Communal living, helping each other out, looking out for each other. They even had their own kosher AAA. You said we got Chevy Suburban, we got a pickup truck, let me show you this. This is like Jewish AAA or what? Basically. But it's community funded, right? Yes. Who pays for the trucks? We have a couple of sponsorships, collision undergoes, one of our sponsors. A couple company here? Yes. In the area. So, for instance, I do not have to have a AAA membership if I live in curious show-out. No, you can have our number. We got everything, all the equipment, everything what we need. Even for the Gentiles? Whatever you need, you call us, we're coming out. You guys are helping anyone who calls. You call us, we go out. It would be pretty convenient to get a flat tire, call up this city, and they just help you out.

Imagine that world. When you live the same, you look the same, you pray the same. You can do cool shit like that. We have the curious show-out volunteer, Ian Masty. Gotta give respect to all these guys doing volunteer work for the community. And we gotta take notes, man. We gotta do that for ourselves. For everyone else in America, take notes. This is beautiful. But it requires some selflessness. It requires some additional work. You're missing hours with the family and loved ones and kids to help other people. I have a bigger picture approach here, and they look at the community as a whole. And I actually find that commentary to be quite insightful. And by the way, something that we've talked about on this channel before, for those of you who think that somehow I'm limited in my topics, even though again, I don't work for anyone. And many of you are listening to people that are funded by foreign sources, not saying anything, just saying. It's one of the poorest towns in America, with 40% living beneath the federal poverty line. Many, many here are religiously studying the Torah full-time and heavily rely on public assistance and welfare in the form of Medicaid, housing vouchers, food stamps, and cash aid to support their giant families that God commanded them to have.

Now, that being said, I will do some quick corrections for you guys out there in the audience because there's a description of this that it's essentially a town invaded by Hasidic Jews. And while that might be true of the New Jersey town that he did in a follow-up video, this, in fact, is a town or an enclave that is founded by a certain sect of Hasidic Jews. And I believe they're called the Sawtmar. Let me just give you a pause right now and point out that I'm going to pronounce absolutely everything wrong throughout the course of this video because I don't know none of this crap. So, yeah, just everybody relax on that. And essentially, it was founded by a certain sect of Hasidic Jews that felt like the influences of Brooklyn, New York, and being surrounded by the city were like sinful and they put too much pressure on his congregation. So he wanted a more isolated community, but still something that was close enough to New York City's financial district and all the different businesses in Brooklyn that they could function. And this is essentially the birth of this particular town. And I believe they actually moved up to this area to a couple of different apartment buildings in this suburban area back in 1971,

but it was first incorporated in 1976. So this is like a straight up founded by Hasidic Jews kind of community. And when you go there, one of the things that Tyler points out is that there's a lot of Jewish folks there and the only people who are not Jewish appear to be the Latinos that are working in the supermarkets or construction. And yeah, this is a rather curious site in the United States of America. Jews, Trabaha, inconstruction, IKEA, no. Only Hispanics. Hispanics, okay, thank you my friend. Okay, so this is sort of a well-known fact, but it's good to hear from him that the Hispanics are working the construction out here and the Jews are living here. You work in the medical industry. Yes. And you help someone who's elderly or... Well, it's for pediatrics. Pediatrics. It's a private office where the doctor looks better. Okay, I've noticed that seemingly only Hispanics are out here working. Yes. And I have not seen many of the Jewish people here working. Yeah. Do you know what's going on there? I, that I don't know, but we don't have a few coworkers also, they are Jewish.

Okay. But I have noticed that also. But all that factual background in my humble opinion is absolutely secondary because one of the main points of this Tyler Levy era video is the fact that this particular community seems to be openly enforcing their religious doctrine on the town. And this is first depicted to us with a sign in the beginning of the town, which he has in the beginning of his video, which actually asks people to respect Jewish customs women to dress modestly. Welcome to Curious Show L.A. traditional community of modesty and values, and keep you with our traditions and religious customs, and we kindly ask that you dress and behave in a modest way while visiting our community. This includes wearing long skirts or pants, covered necklines, sleeves past the elbow, use appropriate language, maintain gender separation and all public areas. Thank you for respecting our values. Which if we're being perfectly honest, a sign like that, and if it were getting actually enforced, would definitely 100% gain the attention of the broader American population, especially if it was some super religious Christian group, or of course Islamic groups deciding to enforce this.

You would see a lot of politicians, Republican politicians especially, talking about Sharia law in this small town, yet this particular Jewish enclave appears to escape that scrutiny. But that's not the only scrutiny that they seem to be escaping, because as is documented by multiple different sources, you have a high propensity of welfare usage in this particular location, and although the number that is put out by Tyler Oliveira of 93% on Medicaid is actually probably not accurate. Like the official number for Medicaid and it was like 93%, that number is not real. You can look it up, it's not 93%. It will say 93%. Yeah, it's checking up now. But I've already lifted up, I know what it'll say. Yeah, it'll say 93%. Wait, what is it saying? Uh, Google, I don't know if that's real though, that's why I'm asking. Yeah. I don't know, because I have a lot of people who have a lot of kids and even if they were, they're qualified. They're qualified. Okay, we got some knowledge just now. By the way, it's not an accurate because Tyler is lying to you, because if you do Google this town, curious Joel New York,

and then you search the amount of people that are on Medicaid, this 93% number does in fact come up, but that is actually the number from the article he puts on screen in 2014. If you actually track the most recent census data, what you find out is that it's lower, although significant. 79.9% on Medicaid compared to just 9.18% on employee plans. That is obviously significant, and this is extraordinarily high, even by New York standards, because if you guys are unaware, New York State is absolutely crazy with their Medicaid program in that 44% of the entire population in the state of New York, about 7 million people are actually receiving Medicaid benefits in this particular state. And in fact, many people have pointed this out. The Medicaid budget for New York State is equivalent to the entirety of the budget for the state of Florida, which is absolutely as tonight in ridiculous, because Florida has 3 million more total people than the population of New York State.

So again, this, if you were talking about Medicare fraud or Medicaid fraud in this particular area, you might be able to find something, because it's an extraordinarily high percentage of the population in this particular area. And yeah, there have been scandals in the past, like back in 2015, where of course they ended up busting people for a significant Medicaid fraud scheme or welfare fraud scheme, again, back 11 years ago. So yeah, all of that is true. And if this video were recorded back in 2015 and documenting these centers in the same way that you document the Somalis, then I would say it's much more comparable to what we see in terms of little Mogadishu, or of course what we see with Dr. Oz trying to do with the Armenian communities in Los Angeles. But the focus of Tyler's video is actually based on the fact that a lot of these people are just having an absurd amount of children, and they're using that to maximize their welfare benefits. And this is 100% true. This is one of the most fast growing communities in the entire country,

but it's also the youngest median age community in this particular nation. I saw different reports that the median age in this particular area of New York is actually 11 or 15 years old. Regardless, that is still extraordinarily low. And this is due in large part to the fact that these people are ultra-religious so they take that B-fruitful and multiply thing quite literally. Proud to do what the Torah says that you need to be multiple and fruitful. And yeah, they're able to do this based on subsidies that they're receiving from the taxpayer. Okay, what percentage of people would you say use EVT for their groceries here? 100%. 100%. Wow. He said 100%. Oh, how what percentage would you say? What would be your estimate? Because 100's too much, right? What percentage of people here use EVT for their groceries? 35%? A little bit difficult to conclude what to take away from that. The question is, are a lot of these big families dependent on the welfare state to survive?

And then the secondary question is, do they work? Yes, I work here. I never do the people that live here work here. Yeah, my work is for people that live here. Okay, so that's what I've heard a lot of business owners. Or some people do study the Torah for a couple of years. They do that many times a while. Their wives are working, that's what I've learned too. Now what's really interesting about this particular video is that despite the comparisons to Nick Shirley's video, Tyler does not actually allege welfare for audit. He just points out the obvious that because of our generous welfare benefits, the way are even more absurd and even more generous in New York State than other places in the country, they're actually incentivized or they're rewarded for the fact that they have people that are not working or not working that many hours, while simultaneously having multiple children. And again, if you said this about out of wedlock black mothers, it would be controversial and people might label you racist, but it probably wouldn't be to the level of controversy that we're seeing right here. Even though this is something that we see time and time again for multiple different groups in this nation. And to me, I actually 100% agree if you're choosing to not work and study the Torah for years,

then you should not be subsidized in that venture because again, we are not supposed to establish nor prohibit the free exercise of religion and essentially financially rewarding these individuals for deciding to study the Torah and not work and have a bunch of children. In my opinion, is basically rewarding certain religious beliefs at the expense of the broader taxpayer. And as somebody who is a net taxpayer who just filed my taxes in the state of New York, not a fan of it, not interested in it. And again, you want to haggle over whether it's 93% or 85% or 81% on Medicaid in the state of New York for the residents of this town. To me, it makes no matter. It is far too many people. And yeah, I don't give a damn if it happens to be a Hasidic Jewish enclave, especially if again, I get paid $14,000 for going after them due to the fact that that AI dead Netanyahu said it's okay because their anti-Zionist shoes. The amount of people that are going to take that seriously and think that I was approved by my Mousad Handlers

in order to comment on this particular video is going to be ridiculous. But again, I'll enjoy your idiotic replies down in the comments below because in reality, you know, I'm just not going to tell my handlers about this and hope that I get away with it. You know, better to ask forgiveness than permission in my humpless of humble opinions. But yeah, obviously this is the major issue. And of course, I also love learning a new stereotype. And apparently, one of the new stereotypes that Tyler ends up revealing to me is that Hasidic Jews can't actually drive much like the Haitians in that town in Ohio, much like the Somalis. They seem to be crashing up the joint. And yeah, let's look at one of these accidents unfold in real time in Tyler's video.

What is this driving? What is this driving? No way you're driving. You're trying to kill us out here. No, we weren't. You need to learn how to drive. You're going to get your kids killed there. You're going to get these kids killed. You're going to get your responsible school bus driver. You want? I can give you. I sir, he said he'd give me $500,000. Go check it out. You can pull the police that will make your police report. It doesn't pay. $500 for that? Come on, man. Can you give me a $2,000? I don't have to give you a change. I don't have $2,000. I would just call the police to get the police report and handle it through his insurance. Okay, yeah. So. That's some damage right there. $2,000,000 worth of my guess. And just for context, do you live here? Do you work here? Okay. Wow, look at this. Another accident. Oh, my God. So I find it interesting that this guy ends up offering her $2,000 in cash, even though again, you're in a town where the average person is below the poverty line

or not making a lot of money compared to the sides of family that they have. But he has $2,000 in cash on him. Again, very suspicious, very unusual in my humblest of humble opinions. But yeah, obviously if these guys are driving around with not having insurance, or getting into accidents, and crazily enough, apparently another accident nearly happened as they were filming the results of this accident, then that is a major problem, a major concern. And again, I'm glad that Tyler actually ended up documenting this. But my overall takeaway on this specific Jewish town or enclave that is just north of New York City is that I'm not going to be typically a fan of these ethnic enclaves that are completely separate from broader American society. However, I will point out that we do have some ethnic neighborhoods. Think of your little Italy, think of your Chinatown or whatever. And those are kind of like distinct neighborhoods, but they're more broadly integrated into the United States of America. And although this town to me is not as controversial as the Jersey town, which we might go over in a future video,

the fact that the population is significantly welfare-dependent to me is a major problem. And this is one of the reasons why I actually do support the modifications to food stamps and other welfare benefits as set forth by the Trump administration. Because no, you should not be able to claim public benefits. If you're an able-bodied adult male, we're fusing to work for a couple of years. Even if again, you're studying the Torah at that time. To me, sorry, doesn't matter, doesn't make a difference. I'm not interested in that. If you want to do that with community support, that's totally fine. That is a community that's working together. And again, those aspects of this town, despite the fact that Tyler and Olivier ever got labeled anti-Semitic about this, were the things that he was praising, but the thing that he's against, which is us paying for it, the taxpayer covering it, 100% on board with him. Yeah, these people are obviously gaming the system. And again, while there have been welfare fraud and overbilling scandals in the past, the way that they appear to be doing it right now is just by actually following the rules

but to their absolute extreme. And I think at a certain point, we got to cut back on this kind of thing. So yeah, I don't think it's okay. I don't think it's kosher for them to be working not at all for a couple of years or having just their wife work at a low-income job, possibly getting cash under the table in order to keep their income down so that the taxpayer can cover this. Again, I'm not against people practicing their religion. You're free to do so. You could send your kids to a religious school. You could take time off work to study the Torah, but the thing is, it's not my responsibility to pay for it much in the same way that I wouldn't support bailouts for people who borrowed money in order to go to school in order to study lesbian dance theory or something of the sort. I'm not interested in paying for this through welfare benefits to their kids. You want to have a big family? That's on you. You should pay for it. I'm not studying. You're struggling? Yeah. It's not easy. Most people I know are so. Are most people who have this amount of kids on forms of welfare like SNAP, Medicaid, housing assistance, that sort of thing?

A lot of people I'm not. I can't cope with others. Do you think... I don't have because I mean... Yeah. I'm sure they are eligible for... Like tax credits for the kids, right? Yeah, and they're eligible more for... whatever for loans, whatever you want. Of course you have debt in the kids. Like section 8 waivers for stuff like this? Something like that. Like I live in New York City, largest Jewish population outside of Israel and I've known Jewish people growing up. I've met them in university and that includes Orthodox Jewish people who get married at age 18 to their spouse. They immediately try to start a family. And of course, they do so with the support of their parents who are often paying their rent in order to live in New York City while they're studying at university. And that's something that I'm not against at all whatsoever. In fact, I wish that other ethnic groups in the United States of America had the same kind of social cohesion. By the way, another thing that is brought up by Tyler Oliviaira is that crime is essentially non-existent in this Jewish town,

which is not surprising even though, again, statistically, they're among the highest poverty rates in the entire country. We all know that poverty does not actually lead to crime. There are other factors, including the character of the population that are much more important and much more crucial. But again, if you have a situation where your family does this, if you want to live with people that are similar to you, that's totally fine as long as you pay for it, again, not being subsidized by the taxpayer. And of course, what we'll get into in the other video that we'll likely do in the future is the Jersey situation where they moved into a pre-existing community and essentially you have a struggle for resources, the public resources, that again is much more controversial than even this little town that is just north of New York City that was essentially founded to be what it is. But again, still should not be subsidized by the taxpayer to the extremes that it is. I understand that there are welfare benefits that are available to the population based on certain behaviors and whatnot, but when you have people that seem to be actively

pursuing those benefits and living their lifestyle in such a way to capture the maximum amount of them, they become rent seekers, and that's something that I'm absolutely not interested in. You can't really call out, in my opinion, the black welfare queen, single mothers that are in public housing and then look at this, see all of these people that are on Medicaid at least, not to mention the people that are on EBT, by the way, estimates range between 35 and 50% from the people that are there and say, oh, well, that's different because in this particular area, these guys are ultra religious. Well, yeah, you can be ultra religious like the Amish, but you know what, you should be self-sustaining like the Amish. Now again, those are just my thoughts based on this particular video. I want to know what you guys think down in the comments below, and I also want to know if you guys want me to cover that New Jersey town video, which is a bit more controversial than this particular one, although we see similar patterns emerge as seen in this town that is just north of New York City. Again, all your thoughts down in the comments below
