Spiritual powers are real and you can develop them. It is the law of the universe you know that whatsoever you reject is laid at your feet. This is the law of nature. If you in great subtlety of realization were to reject the powers and spend all your energy working for others in selfless fashion, the powers would be given unto you. You would develop great powers within yourselves, which are spiritual powers. The words I want to stress here are in great subtlety of realization because I have found people to think they're doing this over the years when I believe they are not, because the subtlety of realization is, Hello and welcome to the Spiritual Freedom Show with International Best Selling Author and Spiritual Teacher, Richard Lawrence. I'm your host, Darren Ball and by the end of this episode you'll understand exactly how to balance the demands of service with the need to go within. And how to put yourself in a calmic position such that the highest states of consciousness come
to you. See you on the other side. Richard, Darren. So today's show we're talking about unlocking your spiritual powers. So what it takes, what you need to do, even how to balance the demands of service to others with the spiritual desire to go within, which is a real aspect of the spiritual path today, particularly people who are devoted to a path of spiritual service, as we are. Indeed. And so in particular what I wanted to explore, was your own experience and example as someone who has been devoted to the spiritual path for 50 years more and who has unlocked their spiritual powers. And I wanted to test some degree, to some degree, fair enough. Yeah and can I by the way just before we get onto that, thank all the people who've written to us, who've commented, who've sent in their messages. We've had a lot recently, haven't we? To come to the show. Yeah, who really finding this helps them in their path, which is just exactly why we're here. Yeah, I was very encouraged by that because as I was editing the last show, which is a little bit up sometime after we recorded it, I was like, wow, this is,
this really gets to the heart of the challenges and the struggle that I think a lot of people, including myself, do face on the path overcoming these barriers that we want to transmute. And it just gave such a precise and clear metaphysical understanding. And I know a lot of people who wrote in, either on YouTube or directly to me, really remarked on how much it actually helped them. That's really really good to hear and thank you for telling us that and thank you for sharing your experiences. Absolutely. I admire everyone who rigorously or in a dedicated way, let's put it that way, follows the Atherian society path. Sometimes we call this King Yoga. But whichever, whatever you call it, it's the path laid down by the cosmic masters through Dr. King and by Dr. King, both for this period and going forward. I admire them because it's new and by that I don't just mean new in the world today. I mean, new through the centuries.
So other paths are well ingrained in the mind, belt of earth. We have possibly, if not definitely, followed some of those in past lives. And so they're ingrained in our subconscious. And to come to this path, you have to make an internal change. And that's one reason why. But the other is that this path that we are now presenting is the way forward. It's a greater path than has ever been given to earth before. No doubt about that. No ifs, no buts in terms of what the cosmic masters and Dr. King say. And it's a massive seismic change and a step up from the path that existed before. It may not appear to be, but it really, really is. Now our house text, as we often refer to it, from the very beginning has been the nine freedoms of course. And when this was produced or delivered
by Master's Sector 6 through Dr. King and then brilliantly explained by Dr. King, the Master of Thearius stated that these are the greatest teachings that have ever been given to earth, ever been given to earth. Now the 12 blessings which we also refer to and will always refer to and they are truly wonderful. They go to an even more advanced level in terms of what is being described. So you have the Supreme Lords of Karma, the Galaxy, the Supreme Lords of creation which go are even higher than the intelligence is described in the nine freedoms. But in terms of giving us a path to follow, the nine freedoms goes further in several ways. And it's the intent of it to go further. So it is more exact, it is more complete, it is more explanatory, there's far more detail about exactly what we should do and why we should do it and what will happen when we do
it. And also we are given the role model and this is what I really want to come onto. Of the higher freedoms and one of the points that we made on the spiritual freedom show right from the beginning is that the higher freedoms and we're talking really about the seventh which is interplanetary existence, the eighth, saturnian existence and the ninth, solar, I'm coming to your question, solar existence. Those are not just given as matters of interest. Oh how do those beings live? They're given as paths for us to follow. Okay in a tiny way, in an infinitesimal way, but we can be like mini interplanetary beings and it's preparing us for the time when we'll be in the interplanetary fold because these teachings and the nine freedoms and certainly the 12 blessings, we're told the 12 blessings was given about 50 years early, we've covered that before. We don't
know how early the nine freedoms was. We don't know if they would ever have even been given in that form if Dr King hadn't been present and able to take them because that was a record in history for Marseille to six to communicate in that way through a person in an earth physical body that never happened before. So I would think because they were teachings designed for the new age but they were given to us early for those people who are wise enough to listen and watch the spiritual free. But those people are wise enough to take them to their heart, can prepare early but they're actually given for the new age. They're actually given for the time when we on earth will be part of the interplanetary family and we will be following in a lesser way but in a definite way the same path as is being followed on Mars, on Venus, on Jupiter, or even Saturn, even the Sun. In a tiny, tiny way that didn't happen before. Yes, they did have periods, we're given examples of even solar
lords and even Saturnians meditating. We're told that even Mother Earth on whom we exist meditates, this is the point I want to come on to. So even these very high beings, long periods maybe 125,000 of our years, they will do this. So even they who are following a much more elevated path, and this is why I'm drawing, this is why it's so relevant to people now, it's been given so that we can follow it now, not wait for the new age, follow it now, even these great and advanced intelligences are going within, are meditating, are doing their very elevated version of what we might call spiritual practices. So that's what I really want to start with. Now, when it comes on to you kindly mentioned, I've been doing this for 50 years, I've been on what we call in the ethers, I do not even many are familiar with it, some may not be staff membership. The concept of it
is complete dedication to this path, whether we all live up to that's another matter. But there are strict rules and very strict disciplines to maintain your staff membership. So I have been a staff member just as an example, full-stopping for over 50 years. Every day I've never left, I followed it, and I've been lucky to be, as we know, initiated at the higher levels. I've found and I know from experience, the what you reject is laid at your feet and I'm referring back actually to a transmission here that was delivered before the nine freedoms in 1960 by the Master of Theorists from free will to freedom. So it's one that we often come back to. I think it should be also part of the, if you like, the house texts of the spiritual freedom show. So that's that we've now decided. But in it, Master of Theorist states this, it is the law of the universe, you know, that whatsoever you reject is laid at your feet. This is the law of nature. If you in great subtlety
of realization were to reject the powers and spend all your energy working for others in selfless fashion, the powers would be given unto you. You would develop great powers within yourself, which are spiritual powers. The words I want to stress here are in great subtlety of realization because I have found people to think they're doing this over the years when I believe they are not, because the subtlety of realization is that you realize that when the opportunity arises for you to develop your spiritual powers, you do so. But you put service first. So he doesn't say that you reject your journey to God. He just says you reject the powers. And sometimes you'll be
working on something, for example, like a very practical skill or ability that could enable a great life-saving cosmic mission to be performed, rather it might be very practical mechanical or structural ability or engineering ability or building ability or it might be a countancy or it might be learning to be a public speaker or there's a whole variety of skills that can help to enable these great cosmic missions that the Atheosite performs to take place. You might be focusing on that rather than a yogic skill of holding your breath for a certain period of time or whatever. You might be doing that. But what the Master of the Theory says is if you're doing that, when you're called upon to do that, you will gain the powers because you've then genuinely rejected them. It doesn't mean to say, by the way, that if you weren't working on those skills for missions or
whatever it might be or the promotion of the great teachings that you would actually be watching football or you would actually be watching another TV show or going out to a concert or just relaxing by a pool or whatever, that's what you've rejected. Rather than developing the powers within you, then what you'll get then, you might say, is very good karma for football or lying by the pool and that's a theoretical concept I'm giving. But you know what I mean, you haven't actually rejected it. So there is a great subtlety here and that's one of the subtleties. You must be rejecting. You've got to be able to put hand on hand and say, if I wasn't doing this, I would be developing my powers, my spiritual powers. So that's point 1.2, when the opportunity arises because bear in mind, we're going to talk more about this in a future show, I think, but spiritual powers enhance your service. So you might be completely genuine. I mean, if you wanted to be a good
boating person because you knew the boats were used in a mission, you might choose to take a boating course or if you didn't take a course, you want to gain boating experience. The same applies to spiritual powers. So you might want to develop spiritual powers so that you have an enhanced intuition, so that you have better concentration, so that your memory improves, so that your fitness improves, so that you're better able to serve for a longer period of time. So those opportunities will come to you. And there's another point 2, which I just want to throw into this great subtlety of realization, which I believe the Master of Theorists is talking about. We are here on Earth to go back to God. As Dr George King says, go towards God now. Remember, even a saint cannot reclaim a wasted minute. That's why we're here. We are progressing or we should be progressing.
If we put our spiritual development on hold, we don't stand still. I remember Dr. King, but I was very new to getting to know him. It'd been the 1970s. But I did remember him going to a meeting and I wasn't at the meeting, but he came back from it with someone and the person that said to him, if you stand still long enough in a road, sooner or later you will get run over. And he agreed with the concept behind that statement. He improved on it greatly and he came up with this wonderful offer. It's a move and live. Stand still and die. Move and live. Stand still and die. So you can't just stop. And if you do stop with your spiritual practices, your spiritual development, you won't stand still. You'll regress. And I've seen it. And maybe others have seen it. I've seen people do it. I know of people who think they didn't need the spiritual practice, says the
tool. They gave a wonderful service. They reached a point and it's quite sad to see where there'd been an internal decline because your internal chemistry, if you want to use that with spiritual chemistry, has to match your external service. Oh, it's a beautiful way to put it. Yeah. If it doesn't match, if you get out of sync between the inner and the outer life, sooner or later the outer life will suffer. Sooner or later your service will suffer. So you have to feed that, but you have to take, you have to seize the moments when they come. And after all, if you look at the end of this quote from Master Ethearius here, he says, if you in great subtlety of realization were to reject the powers and spend all your energy working for others in selfless fashion, that by the way would include earning the money you need to earn if you need to in order to serve feeding yourself sufficiently. And all the things that I think, Mar. 6, 6, called in
those immortal words in the nine freedoms and so on. So all the things coming back to this quote now, it's been all of your energy working for others in selfless fashion. The powers would be given unto you. Now, for those powers that would be given unto you, you have to allow them to manifest. And while you are allowing them to manifest, you are doing spiritual practices. You have to be. And when you get to the higher levels, you can't move. Never mind go about a life of service. And the last line, you would develop great powers within yourself. So even in this statement of rejecting all your powers in service, the Master Ethearius mentions development. So are you saying essentially we're giving up the time that we would be spending spiritual practice to do? Yeah, mainly that's the bottom of what we're doing. So we're not sitting down trying to, you know, place mantras on different petals of different chakras.
I'm not saying we never might, we might do that sometimes, but on the whole, there's many techniques we're not trying to develop, you know, the highest possible breathing techniques at the highest possible Kriya Yoga level or whatever it might be. We are doing, hopefully breathing exercises. We are doing mantra. We might sometimes put a mantra on a chakra under the right guidance, but that isn't where our energy is going. Our energy is going into service. And this requires sometimes quite basic skills, sometimes quite spiritual skills, but it requires, here's a point, you know, in the past, the, in the old path, and I don't want to sort of deride the old path. I would like to say that the real exponents of it, who really followed it, made phenomenal sacrifices, phenomenal sacrifices, that many people who follow this path of service don't make what we should have, by the way, is the same degree of commitment and willingness to
sacrifice that they had, but apply in a different way. That's what we should have. Exactly. Exactly. Like some of them. Many don't, but we should. So the real ones, I mean, they would give up, and it was a very sad moment that in the old families, they would have been understood. They would take to the San Yassin path, if that was, you know, the yogic tradition, depending on the tradition, the munkish path, you could also say, they would leave the family, the would might be a tremendous farewell ceremony with a combination of celebration, if they were an enlightened family, because this is a great thing, and weeping at the great loss of this family member. This would have happened, and then they'd have set about this path. They would have given up all wealth completely, all they had was a begging bowl pretty much. They all comfort all luxury, extremely rigorous conditions. So, you know, we have to respect it. We have to admire, I mean, Miller Raptor, just to name one, was to describe himself as a bag of bones, or at one point, I think I'm right
saying, you know, they really pursued it to the ultimate limit, but they were seeking out their own enlightenment. Some of them knew, and I believe Miller-Rappa was one who did know, that this would help the enlightenment of the world. Now, with all due respect to them, we can help the enlightenment of the world more proactively, even than by gaining a degree of enlightenment. That's part and parcel of it, but it's not the most powerful way now to serve. I think there's a great echo of a theme we've had on a previous show. It is. And we do repeat these themes, because they're true. I'm all forth, and they've been a messy chapter. Yeah. Enlightenment, though, is still our journey, and this comes back to what I was talking about progress, and we need to be journeying towards it, and through it, and eventually beyond it.
And that applies to all life throughout the cosmos, throughout manifestation. And if I can sort of bring back our core reference work here of the 7th Freedom, it's an amazing thing, because there is a section in it, which is extremely advanced. I'm not going to try and define that now. That would be a show in itself, but it's in the 7th Freedom. Can I just say that in the 7th Freedom, at the end of it, Marsex to 6 says this, take this cosmic wisdom deep into your heart, and a greater realization will dawn when it does. And as it does, walk forward boldly into the 7 freedoms. So, right there, he is stating, this path, these secrets that I have given you here, now apply to you. Yes. Yes. And the best way to become them is to act like them. To act like them. So there's a section here, which some will know, it's very deep.
You need to meditate on it. You have to meditate on it. And Doddakings says that in his commentary, to begin to understand it, but it's about the rising of certain globes. So I won't go into that aspect of it now. But I'll talk about what that delivers. So he says, first of all, in the rising comes realization. So he's talking about the wheel turns twice, the red globe dispels the darkness, so that the yellow globe may rise. This is very symbolic. I believe I know what that means at some level, but that's another discussion maybe. Yeah, I'll put a link to the show. But in the rising comes realization. So that's the first thing. You've had the wheel turning twice, the red globe, spelling the darkness, and the yellow globe rising, yellow being associated with intelligence intellect. In the rising comes realization. So that's step one. And then later the blue globe intersects the yellow globe at the right angle. Consciousness is born. So consciousness is above
realization. So first you have realization. And then at a certain point, consciousness is born. And I think you could equate that from our point of view to certain spiritual powers being awakened at that consciousness. Well, the word that is being used there of consciousness could equate to the spiritual powers being awakened. Okay. First of all, you have thought, if you like, the ability to think concentration to a degree. And then I mean the steps as outlined by in the fourth freedom would be for us would be concentration, contemplation, meditation. So this is if you could be called a contemplative stage and a human being, if you like the beginnings of super consciousness actually is being referred to there. So you have that. And then you have the green globe causes fusion between the two. Realization of consciousness takes place. And here, of course, when you get a fusion, you get a transmutation. So here you have a transmutation of mental energies as far as we're concerned.
I see. And you have then and those who know the colors of the shakras and they're often got wrong and they're often over simplistic and they change anyway. But you know that as the shakras go higher from the lower to the higher you move more away from the red spectrum towards the blue. And then eventually the violet. And what does get missed eventually in the crown center, the gold that gets missed out by many because perhaps they haven't got there. Right. Who knows. But anyway, so you have this fusion. So going over to the fluid again, just to keep it simply got the realization, then it's intersected by consciousness. And that's I'm saying is your super conscious of for human beings, awareness time to come in. And then you have a realization of consciousness, a fusion between the two. So if it's blue and yellow, it means the green globe. And this is like the transmutation of mental energies. And this is leading
to somatic states. And so I would say shakra wise is the heart center upwards all the way up. To the Christ center. And then he says all the colors are manifest. So you become all knowing you can know that upon which you meditate, of course, in the Christ center. And then it goes on when the violet globe now, from my experience. And this might differ from what some people say. When you start to see the Christ center really, it's definitely violet. It's a vivid violet. It's I mean, I'm not going to be dogmatic because people have their own experiences. It could even be towards the magenta side of violet. But it's very vivid. It's very real. Then he says when the violet globe rises into the golden sphere, the crescent of wisdom is born and shine it. And this is the secret of life. This is the why of life. The mass as has given us in this freedom, the why of existence, which
wasn't known before. And he goes on, he then tells us that this process is the secret of creation, his secret of preservation. It's the secret of transmutation. He says it's the sacred word AUM. We've discussed that before. But what he's telling us, and this is the point I want to make, he's telling us this process that we follow on earth is the process followed by the whole of manifestation. Yes. Yeah. So when we get, shall we say to ascension, that then becomes our realization. And then that then is intersected by consciousness. And that then is fused with consciousness because we're told that these great masters enter galactic states of meditation and lengthy states. They're still in this same process. And so we must take from this is all life, all life going through this raising this transmutation, this going to these various stages. And then finally,
symbolized by their version, their more elevated version of the violet globe, entering the golden sphere, which is divinity. And wisdom is born. So as well as that, he's telling us here, the secret of all life, which is from this comes something which he's called wisdom. It's a word that gets used in different ways. But you have something at the end, which you didn't have at the beginning. Absolutely profound. It's very profound. And you can't, as layout says, you know, I haven't got it right. But something like the the the the towel or the meaning of the towel, something I think is the first line of the towel you choose. The words cannot cannot be spoken. And then he proceeds to speak the words of the town. Because you these are just words. And this is something you have to go within and realize. Yeah. I mean, what's, I mean, what I what I take from that is is how much we're you know, the process that takes place within us is a microcosm of
this macrocosmic process. Yeah. And as you say, it's you know, we can look at asking in comparison to the in the planetary masters. Yeah. You can look at us, you mean, comparison to the to the sort of what's happening at this with the supreme laws of creation and those who preserve the entirety of the universe. Yeah. And then returning back to the godhead and coming out again you'll find that I think he says that this is the Saternions. After a serious initiation that the Saternions have been through, it is confined to timelessness. Realization is born. Yeah. So they're starting again with realizations. But it's a realization that is beyond everything that way beyond everything that we could learn through our deepest, deepest meditation. And what would you say? I mean, one thing that's not entirely clear to me is how it begins with realization and then consciousness and then realization of consciousness. So because realization to us, you know, that word commonly would mean like almost like realization of God. Yeah. And so
what does it mean in that first instance? In that first instance? I think in that first instance because these are words. Yeah. Sure. It means the ability to think and realize things. The darkness has been dispelled and a certain degree understanding possibly. I think it's even beyond it's like the thought process. I see. Starting. Because then in our terms Kundalini is entering through the Shakurus which are the centers of mind. So you actually have a parallel because the wheel turns twice. I don't want to get deviated here. But the Kundalini has to move to the base of the spine Shakurus. I see. So the wheel turns twice in manifestation terms would be original potential and then creation. So I believe and I more than believe that this would be
reflected in us in our evolutionary projectory as a movement from where it's positioned. I'm not going to go into exactly where it's positioned to the Shakur at the base of the spine. It's actually positioned kind of as it were below that. I see. If it's totally dormant. I see. It hasn't activated even that Shakur yet. And that Shakur I think rightly is generally depicted as red. Although I say that colors vary and change. And so that reflects that first of the person. And then the yellow globe is moved and starts to rise. And that's what he says. Realisation is, I think born or they come over the word. And that's the beginning of the thought processes and thinking of becoming aware of thinking. But it's not yet higher consciousness. That's when the blue globe intersects it. So then you have consciousness as well as realisation. But this is the problem with words.
I mean in the seventh freedom, this is quite interesting and very relevant I believe to Dr. King, Dr. George King, because he says here early on in the seventh freedom, interplanetary existence, he begins to be a Noah. Interplanetary man I'll read it to. He does not pay lip service to anything existence or non-existent, but begins to be a Noah. And begins to realise the why of existence. Now, Dr. King has expressed it that as far as Wiconson in Somati, you are a Noah. But what is being said here is you're starting again. You're going through that process, but at a much higher level, a much more refined level relative to that process, you're beginning to be a Noah. And this you see throughout evolution, it's a wonderful thing. So our little journey is a mini, journey, micro journey of the total journey. And then we'll get to a certain stage and we'll have
that journey relative to that stage and then we'll have it relative to the next stage and then relative to the next stage and then you become a planet and then you become part of a sun and then you etc. All and eventually all the way back to becoming a galaxy. But coming back to Wiconson, it's very relevant to Dr. King. He came here. He was an interplanetary master. He did have in his consciousness if he was allowed, it's not even able, but allowed to contact it. He did know the why of existence. Even though he didn't take the Athera's study journey, hadn't been found. He hadn't been formed. He obviously, he took the old journey. So he was trained, and you can see in some of his early writings, in the old thinking. For example, in contact your house self through yoga, he's fairly giving forth of the old teaching that no one can know why, they can only know how and so on. And then he goes to St. Maul's in Cornwall, which he says,
wasn't a particularly significant place. Well, I would like to say with all due respect, it is now because he entered Samadhi there or meditation there for 65 hours. We don't know of any other occasion in his life and I'm one of his biographers where he entered meditation and he went near 65 hours. This is completely unprecedented. And it's my personal belief, and I offer this as an opinion that in that state, he realized what he knew in his full consciousness, the why of existence. So when he gave, he said, one of the outcomes of that meditation was the Athera's study symbol, which is God manifesting as wisdom, which is the Sanskrit symbol and the triangle. I believe he realized that the purpose of manifestation is wisdom to use word, which is exactly
what Maul's sect of six says through him. Six years later. Yes, yeah. Whether, you know, I don't know is when he came out of this consciousness, whether he was consciously able to retain and delineate all of that. But in that state, I think, and he says it was much more than just getting the Athera's study symbol. And in that symbol, I think the whole change is represented. I personally, in my humble opinion, believe that it should be the universal symbol now. Yes. That's a great point. It should be on billboards everywhere. That's why it should be presented now. Yes, because the AUM symbol, which I have meditated on, is, well, you can't do justice to it. It depicts the path that was given then. It doesn't give us. And I'm going to use probably wrong words here, but the great gain
of all this. This is very encouraging, I think. To me, this is personally, I find this extremely encouraging, because A, all this is for something. We've got to find a word for it, and wisdom is just a word. It's a word that means different things to different people. Conscious gods, I think, the Mastery says, that's another word. Yes. There are different words used by different masters in different ways, in our teachings for it. But there's a great gain here. Sorry about the word gain, but it is a gain. And this is a wonderful thing. This is the best news we've ever, ever, ever, ever, ever had, I think. It must be. This is what it's all about. And there's a purpose to it all. The triangle provides that in the symbol, I think. Are you talking there about Dr. King? It comes really clear that his mission and also him himself was really the bridge between these two
eras or periods on earth. One other aspect, I think, which is just reveals in the example that you gave there, is in the fact that there was no other moment in his life where, as far as we know, he went into such a meditation. No. Was that... Or even near it? Yeah. That was a unique opportunity for him to do that for various reasons. Yeah. And really goes to the heart of one of our core messages on this particular episode about being able to seize the moment when you have it. As someone who was balancing the demands of the other work that he was doing. Yeah, because society already existed. He was already primary trustee on mental channel then. The chance came. It's a perfect example. Yes. You're right. So maybe you just a little bit of background. What was going on around that time for anyone? Well, he was still working for a living. The society had be founded. So we're talking... I don't know. The autumn of 1955, I would say it was. So I would say, I'd have to check this, he hadn't yet moved out of made avail to full them. Certainly he had gone public because he went public in January
55, didn't he? Yes. So he had gone public and cosmic voicing. Well, various broadsheets and things were in existence. And so he was active, extremely active. He was speaking in in Caxon Hall and doing a job. And he was actually working as a chauffeur. And it just so happened that he drove the person he worked for down to St. Maul's. The hotel he stayed in, we know. And the hotel is boss-stated, we know. They're both still there. And he was told to just take some time because his boss just wanted to stay there. And so he had this 65 hours instead of enjoying the Cornwall and going for walks. This is a classic example of it. St. Maul's hotel is an interesting thing. It's like off topic, but it is very significant, I believe. The boat that we purchased for the Saturn mission in the United Kingdom recently, in the last few years, CD of a three,
was located, was Maul at St. Maul's. What an amazing thing. And we didn't know that because we we purchased it through Falmouth, but it was actually in St. Maul's. That's just a nassai I'm throwing in. Make of that what you will. Make of that what you will. So instead of taking this time to go to the beach or etc. And I suppose thinking about his mother was just up the coast. He had gone there. I don't know if he had to stay locally or what the instructions were, but anyway, whatever it was, he took the chance to meditate and he didn't leave his room. He meditated for 65 hours. And so I think it kind of brings me back to the first quote you shared from the Master Theorist from Free will to Freedom about the great subtlety of realization. We're talking here about seizing the moment and I think that quote in particular is an extremely honest way to audit your life. It is. It's like brutally honest. It is. If you can really face what it's saying there. And the choices that we make on a daily basis. And whether we are making
a choice ultimately to want to develop ourselves. And what really, really struck me about what you said was that we are all on this path towards enlightenment. That's what it's about. Yeah. And sometimes we get sort of confused and think we're just here doing this service and that service. But it's so that we can get to enlightenment. Yes. And so we can't forget that that's ultimately what it's about. Yes. And then therefore when we have the time, it's take the opportunity to go within. Take the opportunity. Absolutely. And you'll need it. Because as I say, otherwise you'll get out of balance. You won't stand still. You will regress. Your internal being won't match your external being and they'll come a point where you either won't be able to, I don't want to be, you know, to negative here. But you might find it more difficult to say that to function. Or even to be motivated to function because the internal isn't matching the external. So you will need to. And just to repeat the master's theorist does say that. He says you would develop great
powers within yourself. That means doing spiritual practices. You can't develop them unless you do. Is picking the time and getting yourself in the right, calmic position. And from my experience, which you kind of mentioned at the beginning, took me a long time to get into a calmic position. One of the things you have to do is take every single opportunity you are offered to serve. Every single opportunity you are offered to serve. If you don't, then there will be a blockage. There will be a calmic blockage. There will be an internal blockage. And you'll have to come back until you do. When I say come back, I don't mean reincarnation, but just come back to the path until you do. If you do, broadly speaking, we all make mistakes. I certainly have made mistakes in my life and in my work. But if you stick to that path, you take the opportunities when
they're offered to you and you do the necessary things, then I believe and I have found that the higher states of consciousness can come to you, I mean, very quickly actually, relatively, very quickly in a matter of months or just a few years. But that's providing. You have done that. And I've got a long way to go. And you have to be aware of it. But that's the wonderful thing about all this, I think, that we know what I talked about, the great spiritual gain, if I can use that course way of putting it, of evolution. But also the constant progress, yes, is a wonderful thing. Then you go to that and all the while, you're not losing anything. And this is the problem with the old path teaching. And it had to be that way. And I can, in Matiniwak, understand why that old teaching had to be given to this backward race,
this selfish race, this criminal race actually, had to be given that way. But this is much greater. It's also more difficult. And it requires us. It's not an option. It requires us to go within. And we run events. We're running a retreat in September for this very purpose. And we run other events as well, all the time, to keep this balance. And some of the things that we do, such as the services we hold and operation prayer power and activities like that, some people have to join in online. If you can attend, it's all the better, but online is still great. These are a mixture of both. You're simultaneously then serving and developing yourself. And that's, I feel, a very benign moment when you can do that. That's a beautiful way to put it. And that is an amazing aspect of this path, actually, isn't it? Let's follow. I just want to go back to what you said earlier about,
are we really taking the opportunities that we have available to us? And that success ultimately is about taking all of these and just let that sink in. Because it's really not a point that we should, that anyone listening should glaze over. And that it's a really profound and simple truth about ultimately what success is based on. And we can, I think everyone can look at that and really think about not just what they could be doing in terms of their own development going within and what opportunities they may have to go within and do their spiritual practices, which would ensure they were continuing to move forward. But also from a service standpoint, as you mentioned, what is the next step that you can take? How small that may be? I don't think there's anyone listening to this who doesn't have at least one thing they could do more than they were doing today, which would ultimately take them deeper into a path of spiritual service and further along this path to enlightenment. And it's, it's just, you know, if we, if we, at the end of
this episode, if we sat back for five minutes and just thought about that, I've known that, that we could all come up with at least one thing. And just think about what difference that may make to you, you know, if you start to build that kind of momentum, I was looking at a, you know, on iPhone, you get these memories that pop up, you know, in your photos and stuff. And one came up from me the other day and it was a photo of one of our mutual friends Mark and myself from 2016. And I looked at it and I just couldn't even recognize myself because I was just like, my God, how many lifetimes ago was that? It just every year seems to pass more quickly. And yet I look at something that was just 10 years ago. And I think I just, it's so different. My whole being has changed so completely. I can't, I can't even look at that person there and identify with them as the same person. I think when you are making this progress on the path and you are taking the opportunities of that I've taken every single one I could have, but say you are just how, how, how, what, normally within, you're not saying every little show, but broadly speaking, you're putting yourself
in there's not something you are as it were refusing to do or rejecting to do that will hold you back if there is. You can put that right. Yes. Yes. Yes, you can definitely. I mean, it's just about the next choice that you make it isn't it? It's not, it's not about thinking about the path just. I mean, with every moment we have an opportunity to make the next choice. And it's obvious. A lot of it is obvious. Yes. It's not brain surgery. That's you can see it. It's there. Exactly. People do know it. We can complicate it with all kinds of things, but in the end it's pretty clear. You do the thing that enables you to serve the most. Whether it's what you like, whether it's what you're good at, or not, that's what you do. Yeah. And I think that's a great call back to the previous episode we just talked about, but the kinds of areas that we put up and the sort of not allowing this light to come in because of the responsibility or whatever it may be that that next step may involve for us. But it's as you as you described in that show that the experience of peace and release
that you can feel at the moment that you let go of that barrier and transmute it and let that light in and start living your life in such a way that there is no longer this tension between the internal and the external state, like you said. And I can really endorse that, I think, in terms of my own experience in life, is that if you ever start to feel that there's this sort of just kind of out of step feeling, you can always look back and see that, well, I'm not quite doing the practices, like I said, I'm not taking the opportunities. And bear in mind one thing, if I made best we might want to finish on this, but where the Master, if theorist doesn't say you don't do the practices, he says you reject the power to spend all your energy working for others. Now it could be, it could be that the best way you can work for others is to develop certain powers within yourself or certain abilities within yourself. So the beauty of this thing, this path is it's all one. When you're developing yourself, you're doing it so that you can serve more fully,
so you'll be able to serve, you'll be motivated to serve, you'll be capable of serving more, and when you're serving, you are serving. And it's all about timing in a way, and the majority of your time will no doubt and should no doubt be spent in active service of varying kinds, but those times must come when it will be essential, not just to your development, not just to your progress, but to your service that you go within. Thank you very much, Richard. Thank you. Hey spiritual freedom show family, thanks for tuning into the show. If you take one thing from today's show, let it be this, the part to unlocking your spiritual powers isn't what most people might imagine. It begins with the teaching that we've been given by the Master of Theorius, that whatsoever we reject is laid at our feet. You put selfless service first, and the powers will come to you, but only if going within is genuinely what you are giving up. And remember the second half of the equation that you can't simply put your inner life on hold. As Dr. George King
said, move and live, stand still and die. If we're not moving forward, we're going backwards, and going forwards, be seizing the opportunities that we do have, not just to go within, but to take those opportunities that we are given on the spiritual path to serve more. And in fact, the beauty of this path is that it's all one really. When you're developing yourself, you're doing it so that you can be of greater service to others, and as you serve others, you advance towards your own enlightenment. And the powers, if you're genuinely giving up that time of going within, will come to you. So my challenge to you is to just take a few minutes after the show, and reflect on what it is, one small thing that you could do, to get closer to your own higher self, to take a step towards your own enlightenment by taking up an opportunity that is in front of you right now. Take that small step, and the whole of this process begins to work for you. I'd also like to add that we're running a weekend retreat up in the Lake District in September,
generously hosted and subsidized by Ernst Lear and Barbara Galisinski. This weekend workshop, about unlocking your spiritual and psychic powers will be led by Richard and Allison Lawrence, and will take you on a transformative journey of inner realization, giving you an enhanced capacity to raise your consciousness and help others. So if you'd like to learn more about that, do check out the URL in the description for more information. Now, if you enjoyed that episode about the need to go within and balance that with a life of service to others, and do follow, subscribe to the channel so you don't miss any future episodes that can help you to awaken your chakras, to unlock your psychic powers, and to discover true spirituality. Thanks for tuning into the show, and see you next time.
