World first humpback whale birth caught on drone

A drone operator accidentally captured the world's first footage of a humpback whale giving birth to her calf off the New South Wales south coast. The remarkable footage shows the newborn calf breaching the surface to take its first breath while the mother whale stays close by. The drone operator from Orca had noticed the whale behaving strangely but had no idea they were about to witness this extraordinary moment in nature.
