This is an I Heart Podcast. Guaranteed Human. Hi, this is Kylie Breakman, Angel Jaretana. Jeremy Cole, Hank Paschek McDonald. And we're the hosts of the artist on artist on artist podcast. The improvised character comedy podcast, where each week a new panel of artists discuss their craft. Join us for a panel of Eurovision participants. And we do a little Halloween sometimes. Does the Pope dress up? He winks on Halloween. He gets right up next to the microphone. I hear you get the almost here. The eyelashes hit each other. You never seen Italy so quiet as when the Pope gets up to wink on Halloween. Listen to artists on artist on artist on artist every Thursday on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. On the new podcast, Solita, we share the messy reality of traveling alone as a woman. I can wait four hours for the next bus, or this random dude is offering me a ride on his motorcycle. I choose Option B. I'm Julie Pinero, and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else first.

I'm on a mission to reclaim the word Solita, trading the pity for possibility. Listen to Solita on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I survived nine months in captivity, and I've spent my life exploring how other people survive what should have destroyed them. I'm Elizabeth Smart, and these are the survivor files. Every week, I'm with survivors who live through the unthinkable, abducted, stalked, controlled, and nearly silenced. These are stories about what it takes to make it out alive. Listen to the survivor files with Elizabeth Smart on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. If you're a bookshelf and you're a for-you page or equally important to your personality, welcome home. Pro Society is a weekly podcast that's part book club, part group chat for anyone who thinks pride and prejudice and love island deserve the same level of discourse.

Each week, we're connecting the dots between books, the internet, and pop culture. With your favorite writers, book talk creators, and plenty of overthought opinions. Yeah, I'm obsessed, I'm obsessed. Listen to Pro Society on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Our hometown is not a test tube. 90 miles northeast of Nashville, a battle for the future of America plays out in one small town. Developers with right wing ties have purchased hundreds of acres of land. We need cities on a shining hill. This is our town, a podcast about what happens when a small town becomes the site of a social experiment and fights back. I guess you didn't move in on a bunch of dumb hillbillies now, did you? Listen to our town on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Two teas in a pod with Teddy Melanchamp and Tamra Judge.

Hi guys, welcome to another episode of the Twatch Seat with myself, Teddy Melanchamp and... Tamra Judge. And we have two very special guests on today. The first one is Elizabeth Chambers. She is the owner of Bird Bakery and the host of the show, Toxic on ID. HBO Max and Hulu, a mom of two children divorced after being married to Army Hammer for 10 years. Oh, no scandal. Oh yeah. And now she's the new co-host of the podcast, Dash. We also have Marissa Hermer. Marissa Hermer is a divorced mother of three children and three dogs. But you may recognize her from the TV show Ladies of London. She also owns a restaurant in Palm Springs and now a co-host of her own podcast, The Dash. So Marissa and Elizabeth started a podcast I believe in August and it's called The Dash and we're going to talk to them about it. Perfect. Let's bring them in. Hi guys. Hi. Hey. How are you? Great. Thanks for having us on.

I'm so happy to see you both. We have never met Elizabeth. Nice to meet you. I feel like I just stalk you on the internet. Oh really? I love it. I love it. I love it. We stalk you too. We have so much to talk about. First of all, congratulations on the new podcast, The Dash. Thank you. Yeah, Elizabeth, you were the one who asked Marissa to do it with you. How did this, how did you guys become friends? We've been friends for almost 10 years. Oh, wow. We became friends when Marissa literally was just like the most like refreshing breath of air ever. She was just like unapologetically herself. I love her so much. I actually did Loki judge her because she was so herself for a minute. And then I was like, wait, actually, no, I've just been bored with people in LA. I had a bottle of champagne at this point. So I really like I get more comfortable with myself the more. Yeah. I think Elizabeth came in at like four glasses in. So like, I was real. So you were at your best. I was at my best.

I was just being humorous. Yeah. Elizabeth, did you watch her on Ladies of London? Do you know what I've never, I never did. And I, I told you, but like recently I did go back and watch an episode or two and I was like, you're so likable. Like, who's that likable on reality TV? And it's just because that's her. And I don't think you like like games get in your head. Like, I don't know what happened the rest of the season, but I was just like, that's my more. I was happy. Elizabeth, have you ever done a reality show? Who I did. I didn't. Well, I wasn't supposed to be. It was supposed to be like a docky series about opening Bird Bay Korean, Cayman Islands. And that was supposed to be that. And then it switched because the production company laps and it switched networks. And it became like a thing where they were like casting people. And it became something totally different. But listen, I was in the Cayman Islands and I know how to do two things in this life. And that's restaurants and television. And I, that was all I knew how to do there. And I wanted to say, you're like, gonna make the most of this right now.

Totally totally. Yeah. And she gets tricky to manipulate, like to maneuver when, you know, you're on that. Like, I don't know. I just had, when I saw you, where I was like, how is she just still her authentic self and so likable on a reality show where people love drama? Yeah, give me some tips, please. Timor needs all the tips. Honestly, I, um, I don't have any tips. It was really, when I did bump into drama, which I did on a few occasions, it like ripped my heart and sold out. Like I couldn't sleep at night. It was just, it was so challenging. But that's not who I am. Yeah. Naturally, but I think I mean, I just had, um, I just had Tracy over for dinner in Juliet over for dinner. Juliet said she just did your show. She did. Um, two. So I had the two of them over for dinner, little like celebratory, you know, congratulations on your new shows. And they are preparing for battle every day. Because I think also when I did it, I hadn't really watched a lot of reality television.

So I didn't know I, that's what I was supposed to do. I think I actually was poor on reality television. Because you need to really put on your battle, battle armor every day and go fight that makes for interesting television. So I'm glad there were some sort of five-star dramatic women on my show. Otherwise, it would have been a total flop. But, you know, you do need to prepare for battle and be stingy and pick every fight and create drama that you wouldn't really do. You know, maybe around a normal dinner table. And, um, it's, it's a lot of work. It's hard. I know Juliet who it has real friendships in that cast. Like, and then like Juliet A. Yeah. And then some of these friendships, you know, are totally granaded. And it's really challenging for her. You know, it's a different, it's a lot takes a lot of. Do you know anybody else on the Real House of the London, other than Juliet? I know Amanda. Oh. Oh, can you tell us a little bit about Amanda?

I don't, sorry. I shouldn't say I know Amanda in the same like breath that I know Juliet. Like, do you say you're her best friend? She'll chew your ass out. I've met it. Amanda on a couple of occasions. Juliet is a sister to me. You know, we have been, when you do a reality show with someone as you both know, you go to the moon with someone. So even if you fight and I think it was season three, Juliet, between season two and three, we got into a, a huge, huge, huge room. And enormous fight. We didn't speak for a couple of years. And heart breaking for us and for our families and for our, you know, real life friends. But then we obviously came back together because she's a very dear friend and she was over at my house the other night when she was in town. I've heard of Amanda through Juliet often. So I, whilst I've only met her on a couple of occasions, I don't know her. And ultimately, I know her through Juliet and they were real friends in the pandemic. Like, I remember hearing all about Amanda and she hosted like something for a man at our house and they were, they were very close friends.

So to see some of the clips and to come out that, that wasn't the case was surprising. And let me tell you, as a friend of Juliet, if someone called me out on something, I would probably just be like, oh, yeah, you're right. I'm not a confrontational person. I wouldn't pull out the receipts or the text messages or anything like that. Juliet will because she will make sure she's like this to not TV. No, she will, she will die on the hill. She's got to be right or. Yeah, so don't try and pull it fast when I over Juliet. Yeah, well, let's switch it over to your podcasts. So tell us about your podcast. I mean, I'm learning a lot. Let's actually stay here. Why don't we get London though? It doesn't come at the same time. I asked one of the producers today. I said, are we going to get London? And he said we don't know yet. So if Bravo hasn't picked it up. So hopefully we got, we got, we got the first season. But I just, the first season, but they would drop us to episodes out of time.

A week. Yeah. Okay, well, I'm invested now. Go watch, go watch. I need it. Exactly. It's pretty good. I'm going to be a little bit more focused on what I'm talking about. I'm going to be a little bit more focused on what I'm talking about. I'm going to be a little bit more focused on what I'm talking about. We can talk about our podcast. Basically what I'm talking about, like in one episode, which it hasn't dropped yet, which I'm feeling right now is how I swear. I'm Perry, men of puzzle. And I'm so hot right now. I need to like take off my shirt. I don't know. For sure. And like, Oh, this is what we love about Marissa is like. She got really hot and she's like, I just have to take my shirt off. And listen, she does. I always say she has the best boobs in Hollywood. American hip hop voice. That's right. Great point play. Check out what I want to say in particular about your video. She probably does different. I think that just depends on watching what type of our channel is at the side of the level. But that's like living a lot of internet. And often in Korea, that age will get stuck. In Korea, you can find people go like it doesn't witch yourself, politicians gay. And the industry will eventually change. And when we're looking at them in glide like that, and what we disease might probably outsiders get in that way,

when we face Send hope to all these benefits? And look at this freshness. I have to turn my phone all the time. Your book doctor is not like your GP. I always pick that because I've sent so many people to him. He always gets back to me immediately. He has no thought. That's a good thing about that. Well, I also heard, I was listening to a clip from your podcast and I was laughing so hard because I think, Elizabeth, you were talking about how you went on a date with somebody and you, as you're going inside their house, you have to take your fake care out and you leave it on like a bush or something outside the house. You're like you put it in your purse, but like it was small. On top of yours. No, that was a couple years ago when I first re-interned society from the Cayman Islands, I was worried. And now I'm just like, you get the weave and you get it all. Like, I'm not tossing the weave anywhere. Were you by any chance hiding out in the Cayman Cay?

No, not at all. It's just as great because I think paparazzi is actually illegal there. I wasn't hiding out. I was actually living my best, like just most incredible life. And you deserve? Yes, yes. It was magical. It was like, you know, you cocoon after trauma and then you just become a butterfly. And it was cocoon and butterfly all at the same time. That's pretty magical. But I did coming back to LA. I don't know why I felt like I couldn't have like two clip and extensions in while it was hooking up with a man. Yeah. Now I'm like, they're all in the feeling. Yeah. And giant. I do think tossing the weave is a great euphemism for hooking up. And I think we should all integrate that into our life. Now you guys imagine I have to do it and I have no hair. So like somebody's over, I can have a full wig. And then it's like, it's time for action. And then it's like, hold on. This is why you really got yourself into buddy.

Yeah, but they play Teddy your bone structure. Yes. Like you are. Yes. I mean, that's like you still are stunning. I think that's Teddy. You can be bald in your fight. I think you're just right now going through that in between stage where it's not that short and not that long. It's K plus eight. That K Gosling look. Yeah. Now you just need some still look beautiful. Now you guys have both been divorced for a couple of years now. Would you give Teddy any advice to navigate through her separation, co-parenting, dating? Oh, by the way, I can say I'm not yet divorced. I'm still going. I was going to say, Marissa and I know each other. Who are husbands? Yeah. What do you tell? Can you call them husbands? Are they? Well, we call them my estranged husband. Formerly known. Okay. Because they're still married. So it's. I could call it. Yeah, estranged is. I mean, it doesn't sound great. So I think like formal. I mean, I don't think it's just they like a strange.

You're formerly. They are part of the. We're really known as Marissa's husband. There you go. And what are you waiting for Marissa? Is it just taking a long time to divorce? Or is it stalked? Do you know what? In the, I wasn't. I wasn't. When we separated, there wasn't like a sense of urgency to get a divorce. I'm not looking to get remarried immediately. Maybe ever. Like I don't need to. Rush through this. Nor did my student to be ex husband. And then also we do. We have three kids together too. And sort of life does happen even though we wouldn't. You don't actually want it to. Yeah. And then we have a divorce is also a full time job, which Teddy, you are probably finding out as well with which Elizabeth is well aware of. And so and at the time we, Matt and I, you know, we also were working together as well. So trying to do, you know, I think we were even, yeah, we were opening up a restaurant. And it sort of just fell to the back burner for no reason. Now it's full speed ahead and, you know, lawyers and boring.

That is fourth. Like I think it's so exhausting and Teddy, you know this. You, we want to be creating things and building things, right? Like you want to be have your energy and your time go to upward momentum. And it's just, it's so thing annoying. Yeah. I know people with, with me are like, why, why haven't you gone further into your divorce? Like because before the cancer stuff, like I was like peddled with the metal. Like I don't care how much money I spend. I'm done with this. And like I was angry. And then I got sick and then it was like everything was like, eek. And they're like, we can't go to court right now. Like she's, she barely remembers what day it is. Like this is happening. And so now everything's just taken like a halt. And I'm like, you know, as long as the halt and we're getting along, it's fine. I just never want to feel like I'm in a situation where I feel like stuck. Yeah. I'm in the exact same place, Teddy.

I mean, life happened to you. Life happened to me. The divorce has taken longer. I do think it's, you know, for both my soon to be X's, I don't know what to call them. X's more than one. Do you have two mental health. Yeah, it was like X's how many are you? Now we have another thing. Oh, it's a good. Yeah, like this rumor. Marissa from Utah. No, for his mental health, for my mental health, I do think there is also, it will be good for both of us to have this behind us. I also do think there is a morning that will come with that. I don't know, let's share this, but if you did, whenever that final paper, you know, whenever the divorce is final, I believe that will also bring its own sense of life. It's the own sense of sadness and grief and mourning. And even though this is something that I fought for and wanted, you know, it is sad.

It does. Like, this is not what I wanted, actually. When I signed up for this life, and when I chose Matt and my arch, like, I didn't want this. And so there, I'd like to have that morning behind me soon so I can like continue on, but it takes the time that it's taking right now. Hey everyone, it's the Jonas Brothers with the Hey Jonas Podcast. We've been catching up with some great friends, Paul Rod, Michael Bubley, Seth Meyers, Nile Horan, Jake Shane, and making some new friends while getting into what's really like to have sisters, like Alex Nassian Earl. She likes to control everyone and tell everyone to control as a harsh word. I would say that's a harsh word. I am more outspoken, growing up a lot of the times because she was so quiet. I would speak for like the both of us. Now I'm working on like thinking a mom is really not a taking before I speak. And Joey King. You know if your like mom is yelling at your sibling and even if you're annoyed with your sibling, you just like won't let that slide. It's like, you only can yell at your sibling.

I'm like, you can't do that here. That is not what I want talk about her like that. I just want to talk about her like that. Plus, we've been taking your calls, listening to your voice mails and giving advice, or at least trying to. I know if you've got catching up to do now is the perfect time. When I was 14 years old, I was kidnapped and health captive for nine months. I survived and I've spent my life exploring how other people survive what should have destroyed them. I'm Elizabeth Smart and these are the survivor files. I just remember this low taunting voice next to my ear saying, shut up, don't say anything. Every week I'm with survivors who live through the unthinkable. I knew if he woke up without a doubt he was going to hurt me. I started feeling that there was someone at the end of my bed and I just started screaming. They are abducted, stalked, controlled and nearly silenced.

But these aren't stories about what's taken from them. Their story is about what it takes to make it out alive. The Improvised Character Comedy Podcasts were each week a new panel of artists discuss their craft. Join us for a panel of wellness influencers. What I try to do is foe journal. I don't know, have you guys heard of foe journaling? Yeah, it's reading, it's called reading. So you're... Yeah. We don't like to use that word anymore. Okay. A panel of New Yorker cartoonists. Have you guys done Terry Gross' Peloton Classic? No! I've been dying too. I'm so sorry, I'm seeing a reading of Sudako in the Thousand Paper Cranes by Audrement Donald at the Wonderland Bookstore, 14. That's crazy, I went to the Wonderland Bookstore yesterday and I heard Nora Jones do a reading of Zero Dark Thirty.

No way! Patrick of the last bookstore though, Kim Katrol is reading the guitar tabs of yesterday. A panel of Eurovision participants. And we do a little Halloween sometimes. Does the Pope dress up? He, he winks on Halloween. It's right up next to the microphone. You get up, I hear you'll get the almost here. The eyelashes hate each other. You're never seen, it's least so quiet. Your divorce or your relationship became sensational. Like everybody was a part of it. Yeah. How did you find a way, like one, how long did you know that was going on before you finally were like, okay, breaks, hit, I heard you had to hit the breaks, this isn't for me. Or was it just one of those things? Or did you? It was just one day.

No, I'm gonna say I talk about this a lot because she was so much further down the road in terms of being like done with her marriage. And for me, I was like so optimistic yet being presented with circumstances that were not sustainable in a marriage. And that I wouldn't want my daughter to put up with. So I think again, like, you know, I'm from Texas. My parents, I mean, I was always as she loves the universe. I love Jesus. Like the last thing that we want ever, anyone is a divorce. You don't go into this thinking it's going to end. So where is it was like so done. I'm sorry, I'm like speaking on your behalf, but later I do it all the time. And so it gives me a lot of the office. But I think, you know, you get to the point where you're like, okay, we're in therapy. We're working with the best. I mean, we were working with like Esther Perrell. I thought if you're going to do anything, do it to the most extreme of your ability to let's repair. Everyone, you know, not everyone, but there is such thing as an indiscretion.

And then you just realize actually, this is not an indiscretion. This is something that no matter what work, we feel like we're putting into it. May or may not persist. And so that's the point that I just was like. Listen, I thought divorce was the worst thing in the world. I thought, and breaking it my family, which it ultimately is was like. Actually, I will tell you guys this. This is so crazy. I remember I am a very prayerful person. I remember like praying on my knees in it, my kitchen in the middle of the day, like thank you God for this day, thank you for this life, thank you for my beautiful children. And I do think that divorce was actually my worst fear, which is really interesting when you dive into something that is your worst fear becoming a reality. It's almost like, don't see the trees. Don't see the trees when you're skiing and like you had a tree. I don't know, like at the end of the day, all you can do is keep your side of the street clean and protect your children. And that's ultimately all that matters. Are you blindsided? No, I mean the first time, 100%.

100%. What do you mean the first time? I mean, there was like, there was more than one indiscretion. And so I think like at the end of the day, again, all that matters is children. And making sure that we don't traumatize our kids that didn't ask to come into this world. How old are your children now? Mine are 9 and 11. And they're amazing. But like on ages. Yeah, it's so, they're like full people and just incredible. They're everything that matters. Really, like every and that's the only thing that the only guard girls we have with our pod is like making sure that, you know, that we are protecting them all costs. But I do think to answer your question earlier, Teddy, like with co-parenting and stuff. I think all the matters is that they know they have two parents that care about them and love them so deeply. And yeah, is it ideal not to have everyone's your whole family under one roof, 100%. Like if they could wave a magic wand, if any divorce kids could wave a magic wand, I'm sure that's what they would want. Yeah. But you know how's your relationship with your ex?

I mean, we're a cordial. At the end of the day, like I love who the person I married and people change. At the end of the day, all we want them to be their other kids, you know, and that's all the matters. And that's what matters with the Maris and I had a conversation with a divorce friend that speak in and she's like, listen, at the end of the day, he's, he's her dad. Like we don't need any growth with daddy issues. So if they can be there and present for their kids, then we're going to support that 100%. Now Marisa, you're dating a guy who you call spy. The spy. Why? How did you pick the code name? Too much. So funny. It was the past day about the see other day and I think I forgot the main point. How I chose the spy. He came out of nowhere. He came out of Raya bitch. Sorry, never mind, never mind. I found one the internet. Can we make that a clip, please?

Yeah. I don't know where. You can't let the girl ride a bitch. You can't run Raya and I have to be slummin' it on hen. Why? Raya. By the way, a family hinge has more real connection. And well, I have, I have my real connection from hench and we, I have a code name for him as well. She's been calling her new guy which drives me crazy Valley guy, which to me just, I don't know. I just don't want to date someone called Valley guy. Does he live in the Valley? No. Nope. So the day, the first, after the first date, I couldn't remember where he told me he lived. And so I was like, from the Valley. We're just going to say the Valley because I don't know. It's always safe. It's like if you live in LA for sure, Valley makes sense to all of us. No, it's just like the big catch-all. Do we know where he lives now, Teddy? Yes, we do. We do know where he lives. Do you want to rebrand him? He's now moved up to getting his name. She hard-launched his name today.

Oh! I think only because the press figured it out. It was only because the press figured out his name. That's big. Yeah. So is that PJ? PJ. Yeah. I know. We've been talking about him for months, but Tamara is like. Does he have a PJ? No. Yeah. So he would be wild. If he had a PJ, that would be his code name too. So are you with them? That would be so obnoxious. So are you still dating Spy? I was just saw the spy came in last night. I saw him for a couple of nights. So the reason why I did name the spy, he didn't look. He didn't come out of nowhere. I did find him on the internet. But he's, he's, it's like he was sneaky undercover, except he wasn't even just being himself. He's unlike any other guy I've ever dated or been attracted to my entire life. He's like, he's not a narcissist. He's not an asshole. He's not an egomaniac.

He's not flashy. He's none of those things. In fact, if anything, he's quieter, like discrete demeure. And yeah, like I didn't see him coming. That's how my husband is. And it's refreshing. Like a slow burn and he kept showing up and being nice and sweet and smart and adorable and consistent. And like, I'm not used to that. And so I, not that I wasn't attracted to it in the beginning. In the past, I've had these like crazy butterflies or like seen something and being like, I want that or that. And this wasn't. This was just like a slow, lovely burn that has now become something real. Has he met your kids? Nice. He met the kids. And the kids adore him. And you know, he's a divorce dad too. So I like the divorce dad type is again, I didn't know who I wanted. I didn't really even want to date anyone. I went on a lot of dates, but I just thought that was something that I should do.

Not I didn't actually want to like meet anyone because also I'm very happy starfishing in bed at home by myself. Starfishing. Well, you know, one guy I think we have a. We've both gone on a date with the same guy because I went on. I don't even remember his name. It was so long ago, but I was like, we have one mutual friend and common. It's Marissa hermer. Like, we had to have met this guy online. Then I was like, how do you know Marissa hermer? I have to tell you guys more about this fight for one second because this is crazy. He was like, he, I think he was in the CIA and I'm like, girl, I've seen his house. And it looks like the cover of 80. I'm like, that man was not CIA. I think he's like, B C is he actually I was afraid that you were going to come home this weekend. And he was going to be like, you guys have to stop talking about me. I lowkey thought that he was going to say that. Or that you were going to be like a real person. He's not going to listen to like, you know, reality television podcasts and stuff like that.

You'd be surprised. Please. In this, I'm something dropped this morning. I talk about how I discovered a nipple hair. Look at my nipples. And so I really don't want him to listen to this. He was there. I don't know if he saw everything around so quickly that I like, I don't know if he saw it. Oh, did you get the nipple hair? I have one better than that. I was dating Eddie. And he came up to me and he's like, is that a nipple hair? And he plucked it. No. Yes. Well, yeah. And I was mortified in Paris. I didn't even see it. But I will say. I know. I was like, I had a lift. And I had my nipples made smaller so they cut that hair right out. Well, she doesn't do it. It's not that deep. I'm like, what's that deep? It's not that hard. I'm like, it's very deep. Oh, I'm sorry. It's not that hard. I'm like, it's very deep. Oh, look at how come they say.

They talk about the go to the crop and the cradle. Oh, yeah. It's very weird. I'm telling you, this is very strange, you guys. I have only dated 23 to 25 year olds and it's not like a flat. You're going younger than me. They can't even grow facial hair. She said it was like gold. They never have a nipple hair. No, you can't ever look at me. I think, you know, like, it's in. This is not a flex or it's not like a, I don't, I really would love to break bring us psychologists on an unpack it. Your next pod. Yeah, exactly. I do have some theories. I think they had one girlfriend in high school and they're like, maybe one college girlfriend and they got really good in bed. And then like, we were all crazy at 22 probably. So like, oh my god, you're so calm and normal and competent. And then like, I'm going to marry you and like, no, like, let's. So horrible. That's not happening. And then there's, I think it's just because again, and I'm not judging anyone.

But like at that age of their last girlfriend, we were all probably like a lot more insecure and a lot more, you know, it was just a different time. And so it's very calming and when someone doesn't make drama out of nothing, I don't know. That's my, like, that's my tip of the iceberg. Well, that's what my algorithm tells me to. Does your algorithm talk to you about like no? I am the algorithm, Teddy. But my algorithm will be like, oh, so young guys and blah, blah, blah. And it's, it's said that the best relationships are with a guy is younger and they're dating an older woman because an older woman feels safe to them. I agree. And I also think there's something to be discovered and explored with like the porn timeframe. I think like 31 to 37 were probably overexposed to porn. So they're not really great in bed because it's not a connection. It's more of like a performance. Oh, 31 to 37 is not my jam.

So I met with 31. Well, he may have just met 31. 31. My guy is 31. Yeah. JP not. We've been, I've been dating the valley. I mean, it's how long has it been like three, four months, four months? Listen, I hope he was on the other side of the porn problem because people who watch too much porn are not good in bed. Like they're lacking connection. And I do think that certain timeframe was deep in it. Teddy, you and Elizabeth are around the same age, right? I mean, I'm probably older, but yes. I think we're both 27. Oh, okay. I didn't want to say it out loud because some people don't like their age. So you guys are basically like a year apart. So I feel like, so my husband is five years, five and a half years younger than me. And I'm okay when we're in like the same decade. But when like I will be 61 day and he's going to be 55, I don't know.

It's a little bit of an insecurity when he was in his 30s. I was in my 40s. Like there's always this, as long as we were both in our 30s, both in our 40s, I'm good with it. I think that's fair. I mean, my ex was five years, four years younger and I was worried about that. But also look around like all the dads when they turn 40 aren't hot and we're just getting hotter. I think I think everything is shifted. Like really, we've never been hotter. And if you think about Diane Keaton, I think she and someone back check me. But I think she played like thought and father of the bride. And she was the mom at like 42. So Anne Hathaway is having a baby, Natalie Portman, all of our queens look like, killing their careers and getting everything they want. So actually I'm throwing a flag on all that bullshit and you need to get out of your head about that. Because like we've never been hotter and happier and healthier. And like they still get dad gods. And also sometimes I don't know. Maybe the spy is not this way, Marissa. But like what I realized on my online dating excursions prior was the older gentleman that had money and like all that stuff.

We're very like kind of like set in their ways already. And I was like, you know what? That's not for me. I don't want like I'm already set my own ways. Like I want someone that's going to help me explore, learn something new, go do something I probably wouldn't have said yes to before. Like I don't want someone that's like, why are you going to worry? Do you know what I do? It's like the clock every night. Not how it is. That's what I like. I like it. I like it. I like a schedule. I like being married. Wow. I'm not. The spice older than me. He's not set in his ways. He's super happy to like. Adventure and try new things. It's interesting. I actually want the routine now. I'm the one who's really shifted. Like I want to go to bed. Earlier and like have. Quiet routine. And maybe it's because, you know, trauma of divorce and getting through, you know, making the hard decisions to. Complete a marriage. Now I just want peace and chill and.

Quility like shoot me dead before I ever go to Burning Man again. Do you know what I mean? The fact that you just said again after I just watched all this Bethany Franco content. I've had so many comments about Burning Man lately. Like I would never go. But, Marissa, I think you say that because it's long distance. Like you also come down to the table with me. I'm in like the ideal. Well, that's okay. But Burning Man, I know. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. Yeah. Yeah. I think it was worse this year than it was last year. Yeah. I'm not. I'm not.

Just for pictures. I'm like. Oh my. Oh thank you. Yeah. I'm not. I'm not. B'reingman. I think you would like, in St. Torpe. Well, everything's different there. Yeah, I think there's a difference between St. Torpe and then like being all dressed out of your mind, like wearing sparkly silver seven inch like platforms. No, like we can check that off list. And there's like a wide age range that goes to Burning Man. It's crazy. I know, we should do like a psychological evaluation of like the profile. Because it is enticing at one point in your life. But of course, I do think that your long distance relationship helps longevity. Totally. It's like incredibly passionate when we see each other. You get to be super present. I love it because I'm able to like really switch off for a few days, sorry for all the text messages I didn't respond to it was the, but like, I do on that. And then I get to perform. Which is like her daily screen time is maybe an hour.

I'm like, hello. I am never not on my phone. And I'm like, she's, she's happiest disconnected. Which is a free bird. I said, it's really nice. But then I come back to my real life. Like this morning, I'm back online. I was at a school orientation for a few hours down here. It's like, I actually was it. Wait, Elizabeth, I don't think we've just talked about that. But now that we're talking about Burning Man, you guys, this is a new stage in my life. Oh no, Avessa. Hold on. What? I said a disco ball helmet. OK, so this is what are you writing when you have that on your head? By the way, I actually just had this on my desk right now. This is not as a prop for podcasts to like have a conversation about. I was thinking, oh, some of the, I was going to say, is that a chip? Did you fall? Yeah, I, well, must have. I must have. Where are you wearing this? Where are you wearing this? I think you guys, I'm getting rid of it. I was actually thinking like, I have so many, like, sparkly sequin outfits, like feathering things. I've got a whole closet of like a costume, you know, warehouse.

I think I'm ready. I was going to say Elizabeth, like, you're off for up, but guy, like you sold some like the bow tie through off for up. I'm going to sell all of my Burning Man things because this stage of my life is over. So I'd say almost the last time that you went to Burning Man. 2019. I don't think I can get rid of this helmet. Oh my god. You're shocking up with this fight as AD house, and he's 112. Like, obviously. How? I'm not a hundred and 12. What if I go on? He actually marisa. Now you just need to get a best bet. I don't know. He's 62. No, you got he's he's civilized. It's wonderful. It's like very nice and comforting and sweet. But I don't see a gray ball. Do you have gray ball hair? Oh my god. Teddy. I know. What's that worry about? That's much for me. No, thank you.

OK, Elizabeth and Teddy are so much alike. And then me and Marisa are like, God, no. What are you talking about? Box. My face gets that Clista's balls. Yes. Yes. I have to tell them. Look, we had our episode this week of the dash is only 36 minutes. I'm telling them just like a talk level. What are you talking about? Marisa, we got a part where Marisa took a special class about skills. OK. I can let me say what I'm going to say. Like blow job skills. So I put some stuff because I'll take that as to us. Some of the things we have lines, we learn where the line is. And this is episode three that dropped this morning. And I hadn't quite figured out where the line was. And I'm just talking, which we do. We end up having just a normal conversation. And I'm like, I've got to read it. Some of these things because if the off, you know, this podcast is not for kids. This is explicit. Do not watch it.

If you don't listen to it on the way when you're dropping your kids off to school. Yeah, in your class. This is put on the way home afterwards. And if you want to like have a giggle, yes. But I went into too much detail. I'm like, this is not appropriate. But post separation. I hadn't been out in the wild in a long time. Like 100 years. And the idea of like kissing another man or like I need, I was like, you know, whatever. I'm an academic. So I went to intimacy school. And I wait, there's a school. There's a master. And maybe I need to do that. Can you pass on that information? I'll text you her name. Her name is BB. She's an intimacy expert. And I was actually, I couldn't get my head around the idea that I was actually going to be intimate with someone else again or anyone. And whilst it wasn't something that I was like gagging to do, I shouldn't use that.

Gagging? Gagging? Good words. I think you were. Maybe you're hoping to gag. Nobody wants a micro penis. I'm going to a low job class. I said, what did you sell under that one? I wanted all of the information. So I went to intimacy school. Did you learn a lot? Do you think you got anything you need to pass on to ask that we would have the wrong one? I was about 30 minutes out. I was a validatorium. Oh, really? Oh, validatorium. Were you the only one in the class? Oh. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I need to tune into that podcast. We'll send you the similar link. Yeah. Have either of you been approached to join Housewives? Housewives. And when I first moved to LA 100,000 years ago, I had a couple of meetings with them, but no. Would you do it?

I said this to Julie at the other day, or maybe I did this or to Tracy. I never say never because if we've learned anything in this life, we absolutely don't know. I don't know what's going to happen tomorrow or when turns of life will take me. That said, I'm just coming out of about a year and a half or two years of total cocooning and not by for what, but like my body, I was diagnosed with PTSD about a year ago. I like just completely shut down and I wasn't depressed. I was just couldn't, I couldn't take on that much. All I could take on was being a mother to my children, which was the priority and is the priority. And so socially, I was not going out. I was, you know, my activity was maybe walking down the street. So the idea of having a conversation or even entertaining doing the housewives, which we've just said is like you have to put your feet on your armor every day for that.

I'm like, I feel like I was putting on my armor every day just to like do the school of the vibe. Yeah. Sure. I was insurvival mode and I'm coming out of it now, which is by the way, feels awesome. It actually really exciting, but I wouldn't, I wouldn't, I couldn't take that on right now, but maybe at some point like are we crazy enough? Yes, we are. We're all crazy. I don't know. I don't know. What is, has Tracy, you're talking about Tracy Tudor, correct? Yeah. Has she shared anything with you about Beverly Hills this year? She hasn't. I mean, she was over for dinner. They only just started filming a couple of weeks ago. Yeah. So I think she had her first group event, maybe at Rachel Zoes party and she said it was fun, but there were already some like drama. There was already. Well, Tracy is such a pro at reality TV. She's going to fit in so well. I'm so excited for her. I love her. She's the best. Yeah, she's, it's good to just make it so watchable and she's, yeah, it's like a

doctor wire. She's going to be. I mean, after coming off some pretty kind of boring seasons, I think that Tracy's exactly what they need. Hey, everyone, it's the Jonas Brothers with the Hey Jonas podcast. We've been catching up with some great friends Paul Rod, Michael Wubley, Seth Meyers, now, Horan, Jake Shane and making some new friends while getting into what's really like to have sisters, like Alex Nassian Earl. She likes to control everyone and tell everyone to go to her. Okay, well, control is a harsh word. I would say that's a harsh word. I am more outspoken, growing up a lot of the times because she was so quiet. I would speak for like the both of us. Now I'm working on like thinking of mom and really not thinking before I speak. And Joey King. You know, if you're like mom is yelling at your sibling and even if you're annoyed with your sibling, you just like won't let that slide. It's like you only can yell at your sibling. I'm like, you can't do that here. That is not what I want about her like that. I just want to talk about her like that. Plus, we've been taking your calls, listening to your voice mails and giving advice or at

least trying to. So if you've got catching up to do, now's the perfect time. Listen to Hey Jonas on the I Heart Radio app Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcast. When I was 14 years old, I was kidnapped and health captive for nine months. I survived and I've spent my life exploring how other people survive what should have destroyed them. I'm Elizabeth Smart and these are the survivor files. You just remember this low taunting voice next to my ear saying shut up, don't say anything. Every week I'm with survivors who live through the unthinkable. I knew if he woke up without a doubt, he was going to hurt me. I started feeling that there was someone at the end of my bed and I just started screaming. They are abducted, stalked, controlled and nearly silenced. But these aren't stories about what's taken from them. Their stories about what it takes to make it out alive.

On the new podcast, Solita, we share the messy reality of traveling alone as a woman. I can wait four hours for the next bus or this random dude is offering me a ride on his motorcycle. I choose option B. I'm Julie Bignero and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else first. I'm on a mission to reclaim the word Solita, trading the pity for possibility. Every time I tried to be alone, I kept meeting people and they were like, you smile good, that's not a lot of people smile around here. It's when you're alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is and not the lies you're sold about it. It can be a time where you push your limits, change your mind or wake up to a new version of yourself. So whether you're a solo travel veteran or you're too nervous to book your first trip, I hope you listen to Solita on the I Heart Radio app, Apple podcasts or wherever you get

The Improvized Character Comedy Podcast were each week a new panel of artists discuss their craft. Join us for a panel of wellness influencers. What I try to do is faux journal. I don't know, have you guys heard of faux journaling? Yeah, it's reading, it's called reading. So we don't like to use that word anymore. Okay. A panel of New Yorker cartoonists. Have you guys done Terry Gross's Peloton Classic? No! I've been dying too! I'm so sorry, I'm seeing a reading of Sadako in the Thousand Paper Cranes by Audrement Donald at the Wonderland Bookstore, 14. That's crazy, I went to the Wonderland Bookstore yesterday and I heard Nora Jones do a reading of Zero Doctor 30. No way! I have to come to the last bookstore though, Kim Ketrol is reading the guitar tabs of yesterday. A panel of Eurovision participants. And we do a little Halloween sometimes.

Does the Pope dress up? He winks on Halloween. He gets rid of next to the microphone. I hear you get the elbows here, the eyelashes hate each other. You never seen Italy so quiet as when the Pope gets up to wink on Halloween. Listen to artists on artists on artists on the IHARD radio app, Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Elizabeth, can you tell us a little bit more about your crime show? Because I was obsessed with it. Thank you. And is it coming back? Yes, it is back in September 15th. We are I think eight days away from it. Seven, nine days away from it. We have season two coming out, which is incredible. And listen, this is like, this is my dream show, my life's work. I mean, at the end of the day, all we want to do is be unhealthy and happy relationships. And we were never told the red signs, the red flags to look out for. Like we were actually quite message the opposite of like a Disney princess.

Wait for someone to rescue your 17 magazine, learn to give the best blow job so we put to ring on it. Like, why were we told that that was the goal? And so I just our episodes this season are leveled up in every way. I mean, we really address some interesting things as whether you're divorced or married, like, you know, there's something called parental alienation, where you manipulate children. Exactly. I've gone through that. Yeah. And then I mean, there's just so many themes this season where just when I had thought I'd seen it all in season one, season two is completely elevated and escalated in every way. And I cannot wait for you to watch it because it's just, it's just like so relatable, right? Where can we watch it? You go watch it on Hulu and HBO Max. It's on investigation discovery every Monday night. And then it will stream on Hulu. I think the coolest part is like, you're like boots on the ground. You're not like a lot of these shows now we're seeing where like somebody's like often in

a different location and they're just essentially podcasting what is happening. No, you're like there. You're like staked out in the car. Oh, really? Yeah. We're not like, I'm not just coming into sitting in the chair for an interview. I mean, we are solving mysteries. And I think what's really interesting as opposed to some cold cases that are true crime is that like our audience can follow along to see is she going to go back to him? Is she going to choose someone just like him, this man that almost murdered her? You know, and it is we have we found I don't know if you saw bad vegan on on. Oh, yeah. But like really, Sarma was implicated. She would have thrown away her entire restaurant and her entire career. She was really implicated and served time at Rikers for his bad wrong doings. And he had been on the run and owed the IRS $20 million and we tracked him down and found him and I confronted him. Oh my God. So I can watch season one on Hulu.

Yes, please catch up. I mean, yeah, I need to. I need to. It's called toxic. And it's like my absolute baby and passion other than my kids and my bakery. Like the reason I live in Brayette, it's such it's just like it's it's applicable to everyone. Do you guys watch any reality television? I watched my first reality television show this year. I got into love Island because my friend was on it. Who was your friend? My friend Bryce. I've learned forever. Hold on Bryce is right up our alley. What is that? It looks like Teddy's just to see like the second coming of Jesus. If it's not my God. Yeah, I try to talk to him about watching this on YouTube. I am not watching love Island. No, I have to say this though. I am like Barry. I don't ever have any time to read. I'm like watching true crime and tracking down bad people. Like that's how I spend my free time. But I will say something and again, I've never like watched reality TV until this until

like I only watched eight episodes because today I thought I was going to be finished at eight. I was like, whoo, that was a lot. Oh no, it's every night. 9,000 more. I'm like I cannot committed to that. That's why I can't do it. It's every night. But the fact that I didn't know that the reunion was about to be on, I was like in rage. Like my 13 year old daughter is like, mom, you don't even seem ready to be watching the reunion. What are you in the reunion? She's like, it's like tonight. I was like, she's like, what is your ready and tail? Like Teddy's like, doesn't warm up before any reunion. Sorry. Because I don't watch the love island because I'm an adult. Same. Marissa, same. It's on every night for an hour. It's on every night. And then there's one thing that's called like after the sun. So one night a week, you get after the sun, which I never watch. It's like once you've gotten booted out, then you go back and you do an interview, but I'm like, I don't care. They're gone. They're out of the relationship. Is it one hour every night? Yes. Yeah, but like, seven days a week and real time.

So if you're like, binging it, your opatial foray, I'm like a crackhead and your kids need to be able to win six. And you're like, this is unreasonable. Like, I do know, I do know some of these people come out of it like being big stars. Like the, you know, big stars and I was I was on traders with, um, I can sue who was on, I think she was on love Island, like the very beginning, the very first one. And she had like four million followers. First time she's ever on TV. Like, what the actual fuck? It's crazy. I mean, people are very invested. It's interesting to watch the dynamic. I like watching it for like whatever I pretend like I'm doing research or some shit. Like, I like watching a person toxicity, but it is interesting to see like people bring their own, you know, their own trauma and their own stuff to relationships. And like that's ultimately, I guess what we're all doing is like, and why toxic is like so successful is because, you know, generational patterns exist for a reason and our behavior

is what it is because like that's what we know and all that stuff is so interesting to unpack. And that's how I'm justifying watching love Island. Oh my god. I think that you would, I think it'd be great on traders. I would love, I mean, I, I need to watch it first, but it sounds strategic. Murder mystery. Some murder mystery. Yeah. I don't know. Is there any shows because I know we're wrapping up on the hour, but like, is there any shows if you guys could go on like it's not like you'd have to be pressured, but like you're like, oh, I actually would want to do that. Do you have one more so too? Jeopardy. Jeopardy. Jeopardy. I love it. I love it. I love it. I feel like fortune would be an easy bag. I was like the third and heated rivalry, but now. Let's make a deal. Exactly. Granny Elizabeth cosmic granny on the show. That's a real granny. Yeah, definitely. That's so granny. That is so granny. No, just like toxic season three, four, five, six. I want to be up.

We need like, we need to be like the date line. I want it toxic for 900 seasons, but no, I mean, like I think you open my eyes to this hole. Like the house wife stuff is really interesting too. Um, you know, Rachel's a friend of ours too. So it's like fun to see her and Kathy. Like they're, I don't know. Like I've never watched it before, but now I do find myself one. You want to see your friends succeed, right? And you want to see, um, yeah, for sure. Whatever one's talking about, like we have to be, well, I think it's like a bit like a survivor too. I mean, let's be honest, navigating a Teddy, I mean, I see both no tamer and Teddy, like navigating some of these dinner parties when the produce, when you're like, you're going to get attacked at it is, is it real testament to like how you can navigate line? And the fact is we already know like going into the season without being told anything specific or special or anything like we know if we're actually avid watchers of the show that Tracy Tudor is going to walk in there and have drama with Doree.

Like we already know it because they didn't pay the hair stylist and I have to believe it. I know. I DM Chris Dillon. I'm like, oh, you're going to be a topic of conversation. By the way, like, yeah, and it's all totally understandable. Like I would also, I don't know what happened with Doree and why she didn't pay him. Um, but I would do the same thing. I would call it be like, hey, this man, like what is going on? So I don't know the other side of the story. Tracy's a good friend. I don't know Doree. We've met him. Have you watched Housewives of Beverly Hills, Miss? No. I've watched a couple of episodes here and there, but I look, the truth is there. That is my television over on the wall. You can see the background. I don't know how to turn it on. I don't know. I watched your show Elizabeth on the plane on my iPad and on my laptop because I could figure that one out. This team, there's a remote. There's like all different buttons. There's like more buttons. Not a remote. Not a holy shit. That's why kids, like my kids will help me do that.

Like I watch, what do I watch? What's that show with 11 and a stranger thing? I watch street things. Oh, this is our demographic. So we're going to be one from now. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Well, thank you guys so much. And congratulations on your podcasts. And I'm assuming you can listen to it wherever you can listen to podcasts, right? Right. Yeah. Thank you guys for your support. And thank you for just being so much fun. And for all the U.S. do together. We are big fans. Oh, thank you. Where do people find you guys on social media? I'm Rissa Hermer. Rissa Hermer was the Chambers and also the Dash Pod. Yeah. I love the Dash Pod guys. I love the Dash Pod. And an episode, yeah, drop this morning. So check it out. Do you drop one a week? One week. You can learn all about Rissa's nipple hair and bow tie if you tune in today. Oh my God. What was I thinking? Do I spell out of my chair? No. It's a thing.

Okay. I mean, I've had a goat hair before. You know, like the one hair on the face. What do you mean before? You get every, every time you pluck it, it grows right back. Did they know? But I get it. And sometimes I'll feel it right away. And then sometimes I won't feel until it's like long. And I'm like, how many people have seen this and no one has told me? Why? I'm going to go to laser away. And I'm sure there's a laser away in Orange County. There's one in every corner. I actually have an at home device just come over. I don't know if you're going to have a laser away. But the fact that you had them on your nipples and you didn't notice. You know what it was me about the washing. There was two. I had, we were dining. We ate outside. And I like, for some reason I just had a sweatshirt on and not a bra. And we are tidying up inside and then the spy went to the bathroom. And I was like, my nipple, like, my, they're going to listen to it. They're going to sit. Well, yeah. So I lift up my shirt as the spy is coming out of the bathroom. And I'm like, oh my god, there's two mosquito bites on each side under my nipple.

And then as I looked closer in each mosquito bite, sort of like you know when someone it was a head on the moon. And the lands on the moon and sticks the flag in the moon. There was a nipple hair in the flag. I was thinking of my mosquito bite. And I was like, I was horrible. I mean, imagine how many times he kissed your boobs and you've seen that. I had no vision. It's just called relatable. OK. Oh my god. Because this girl's shit happened. Oh my god. Exactly. We love you guys. Thank you so much. Thank you. You'll be done. I hope that what's you and LA will all go out. Let's do it. We'll do a group one in person. All righty. Bye guys. Bye. Bye. Bye. Hi. This is Kylie Breakman, Angel Jaretana.
