This is an I Heart Podcast. Guaranteed Human. On the new podcast, Solita, we share the messy reality of traveling alone as a woman. I can wait four hours for the next bus or this random dude is offering me a ride on his motorcycle. I choose option B. I'm Julie Pinero and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else first. I'm on a mission to reclaim the word Solita, trading the pity for possibility. Listen to Solita on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. I survived nine months in captivity and I've spent my life exploring how other people survive what should have destroyed them. I'm Elizabeth Smart and these are the survivor files. Every week I'm with survivors who live through the unthinkable. Abducted, stalked, controlled and nearly silenced.

These are stories about what it takes to make it out alive. Listen to the survivor files with Elizabeth Smart on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. If you're a bookshelf and you're a for you page are equally important to your personality, welcome home. Pro Society is a weekly podcast that's part book club, part group chat for anyone who thinks pride and prejudice and love island deserve the same level of discourse. Yeah, I'm obsessed, so I'm obsessed. Listen to pro society on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Two teas in a pod with Teddy Melanchand and Tamra Judge.

Hi guys, welcome to another episode of Two Teas in a Pod with myself, Teddy Melanchand. And we're judge, good morning, Teddy. Good morning. So watch Ultimate Girls Trip last night. I thought that there was some good parts of the episode. Yeah. I thought there was some things that are definitely, I mean, I'm seeing some people getting eaten alive. Oh. Oh. Beyond. Beyond. Beyond. Beyond. Well, deserved. Yeah. I mean, yeah. It's, it's not great. I mean, my highlight of the alter-ego party in Atlanta was when Marlow came out of the back of a trash truck. I'm like, whole, I mean, I mean, I'm with Kyle on this, like her whole outfit, her entrance, that looks when she said it was like, that's exhausting or that's too much. That looks like a lot of work or something like that. But with Marlow, oh my god, then we have Ken Zolzia, Ken Shirei, Elisa Wu, all showing

up. I miss Shirei. I miss Candice. I miss Neenie. Yeah. I miss a lot of the, a lot of the girls. And I think that it's, it was very fitting that like Neenie showed up and she is like, entered on a throne. Quite so Neenie with guys, shirtless guys. That was a trash can. A trash truck she came out of, right? Neenie? No. Um, Marlow. Marlow, I didn't see the trash truck. Right, guys, it like opened up the back and then she came walking out. I mean, I thought it was a trash truck. I don't know. But I'm like, how do you get like, I mean, I've never seen anything like that. How do you get a truck like that to just, I'm here. Yeah. Let me out. Um, wasn't a trash truck. I apologize. As a man. I know. I know. I have a Heather Gay saying she's totally attracted to Cynthia and doesn't know what she should

do about it. And then it's like, I'm shy. Oh, she, um, annoyed the shadow of me this episode. She, I mean, well, I felt like. It was weird. I didn't notice there wasn't one moment that her champagne glass wasn't refilled. Well, that good time girl was smoking six and drink a champagne. I'm girl was going for it. Yeah. Um, but I, I do think that, um, you know, just seeing everybody in one place is so fun. But like Vicki's comment right out of the gate is, I feel at a place and I want to leave. I'm like, what's new? Well, why does she feel at a place? And this is something, you know, Eddie watched the show with me. And that's the beauty of Big Bear because we're in a smaller porter. So the TV in the living room is what we have except for our bedroom. So he's, I'm like, I'm going to show on you. He's like, whatever. He's like, I'm shocked for somebody that is in the sales business, like insurance business selling stuff.

She doesn't have like a sales personality where she's going up and like, hey, Teddy, how are you? And what's new with you? And nothing, nothing. She wants people to be doing that to her only. Well, that's how life works, sweetie. And it, you know, and this was such a big group and everybody's so excited to see each other. And they all were like broken down into little groups to have more conversations. Like, yeah, I mean, your own cast, your city, of course, you're going to gravitate to work. And I'm sure fighting with them like, like, like, unless you release a bar. Yeah. But Vicki's like, why might dress like this? Cause you're giving instructions before you leave and you pack the outfit it that you chose. Yeah. Like this. And then Kyle's like, if I have to fix her hat one more time. I mean, there was trace at one point. It's like, you look beautiful. You look beautiful. And Kyle's gonna pull her way down. And then Lisa Barlow's like, never be a Bernadokan.

You know, so good. So, okay, we, we have the arrivals. We have Marlow, Kim, Sherry, Lisa Wu, all showing up. We've got Cynthia there. We've got Nini is now entering on a throne. Yeah. And then Nini gives a speech. She shouts out Sherry and Kim Zolziac as the OG Atlanta housewives. And then when she comes down. Lisa Wu's like, what about me? Do you remember Lisa Wu? No. Do you remember how many seasons she was on? No. Yeah. Most people don't. But here's the thing. Porsche mentioned Lisa on stage. Yeah. Porsche is still like, has to remember, was that not good enough for her? Like she was mentioned on stage. Well, she was. And also like, Nini was basically like, I said what I said. And I'm not changing it. I'm not changing it.

Let it go. Lisa. She's like, Lisa, I forgot. She didn't even know she was there. It seemed like. Yeah. I don't know. It was like two. It's like she want you know how sometimes when a housewife hasn't been on for a while. And they get on and they just look at for a moment. Yeah. That's kind of what it felt like to me. It kind of felt like that to me too. And the fact that Porsche doesn't know that Lucy's husband's name was Ricky. And she thought it was Frankie. The best. And she's like, no, but that's his nicknames. No, she says that's his real name. His real name is Desi Arnez. And did you see like Vicki just wandering around in the crowd just looking around, not talking to anybody, not talking to anyone. Most of the time she was like sitting on that little couch by herself. Yes, it was really weird. It was bizarre. Um, but I think she needs someone to like walk her around like she can't, she wants people to. Rush up to her to talk to her. She doesn't want to be the one making that first. What do we call that selfish?

We call that selfish. Um, but also like you was watching everyone do it. I mean, there's moments where you can see that each one of the housewives like that don't fully know each other. But like they're, they're putting themselves out there. They're going to say hi. They're making that effort. Yeah. Like most of them are out there communicating and talking and maybe you don't know somebody from another franchise. I didn't know a lot of these housewives before I got the podcast. Yeah. You know, and now it's like you make an effort and you try to talk to them. And you know, just because you don't know them or they haven't been on as long as you doesn't mean you don't, you can't communicate with them. Yeah. I mean, it always mean you with the pod. We'd be working that room. Oh my god. We would have that room. We have a little like a file. And I have the little Mike that I just told my friends right here. Needy speak right into my titty. Oh yeah. Then Angie K finally approaches Lisa and says, I was waiting for her to say hi, but I figured I'd be waiting all night.

Well, I felt like things with Lisa and Angie, you know, they go on to talk. And it seems like there was a glimpse of hope that they can move forward. It didn't seem like Angie wanted to fight with her. Oh, it seemed like Angie was just trying to do her job and go over to her cast. Yeah. And until Heather Gay walked up. Heather Gay comes in. She's coming in hot. Coming in hot. She's on fire saying Lisa looks so good that it's impossible. She didn't have a facelift. That annoys me. Not everyone is open about surgery that they have. I am. You have some people are some people are not. And I don't even know that Lisa had a facelift. I don't even know either because she's getting glam for the damn airport. I mean, I look a lot different and glam than I look right this moment. Yeah. I mean, she's like, leave Lisa alone. Nobody's talking about your ozempic. Yeah. No, I mean, no one's sitting there. That's that's the thing. And Heather came was giving me a little bit of like mean girl.

Yeah. Heather joins in Lisa calls out their mean girl ship for saying she had a bad facelift. Yeah. When I was 14 years old, I was kidnapped and health captive for nine months. I survived and I've spent my life exploring how other people survive what should have destroyed them. I'm Elizabeth smart. And these are the survivor files. You just remember this low taunting voice next to my ear saying shut up. Don't say anything. Every week, I'm with survivors who live through the unthinkable. I knew if he woke up without a doubt, he was going to hurt me. I started feeling that there was someone at the end of my bed and I just started screaming. They are abducted, stalked, controlled and nearly silenced. But these aren't stories about what's taken from them. Their stories about what it takes to make it out alive.

Listen to the survivor files with Elizabeth smart on the I heart radio app Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts on the new podcast solita. Our town is small taters by most standards, right? But to the people who grew up here, it's everything. What happens when a quiet Tennessee town becomes the front line in a battle over the future of America? Developers with right wing ties have purchased hundreds of acres of land in the area. The first thing you see when it pops up is high nears and apple etch. But they weren't just planning houses. We need cities on a shining hill that exemplify and embody the Christian way of life. Stop right there. Is that normal? A podcast about what happens when a small town becomes the site of a social experiment. God need natural and decides to fight back. Do not use my hard work to sell your bull. They're not just opposing what's being planned for here. Our hometown is not a test to. They feel like they're standing in opposition to an entire administration. Guess you didn't move in on a bunch of dumb hillbillies now, did you? Listen to our town on the I heart radio app, Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.

Dear honeys, this is goodbye. In February of 2024, celebrated illustrator and children's book author, Patre Mathers and her husband Michael, mailed letters to dozens of friends and family members to let them know that they had died by suicide. By the time you get the shalliter, both Petra and I will be dead. Next stop, Wonderland. Patre and Michael were by all accounts healthy, happy, and in love. Why did they do it? And what did it do to the people they left behind? I would have given a million reasons to not leave this world had I known. I keep coming back to a truly hope that Patre was a thousand percent on board with the plan. Do you think of him as having killed her? Yes, I do. I hold Michael responsible for my mother's death. I'm Leon Nefak. And I'm Alice Gregory. Together we set out to interview everyone who got one of Patre and Michael's letters. As one married couple, trying to understand another. Listen to death of an artist on the I heart radio app, Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.

And then how about Teresa walking up and by getting by Lisa? And I appreciate the fact that she has her friends back. But this is where she lost me. It's rich here in Teresa talk about false accusations that hurt people's lives. Yes, Teresa, that should be a no no. Don't touch me there. That's my no no square. Yeah, rich. Why almost kind of felt like Heather was like a rabid dog wanting to like ruin this moment for Lisa. Like she's a kind of. You know what? There was one point where she's like Heather. You're she has her's going Lisa talk to us. Not Kyle. I'm like, excuse me, Heather. She's on a cast called the Real Housewife Ultimate Girls trip. You know, roaring 20. She's not there to talk to you. No, I'm like and they don't they don't want that. They don't want to hold. They don't want a whole storyline about that.

But then Heather snaps back at Lisa and Angie's husband saying they do circle jerks. Okay. How did none of the women know it's circle. I don't know. I said the same thing. I'm like, how's nobody know? But when she brought that up, that irritated the shit out of me. That was something from the I'm not going to say that I'm not going to say that. Two seasons ago that she had said in retaliation to them coming after Lisa's husband and her marriage. And you know what? This has nothing to do with you, Heather. Why are you throwing something out that didn't even have between you and Lisa? Because I don't think they were allowed to talk about what happened at the reunion. So they're just pulling out old shit trying to figure out anything to talk about. Then if you're going to say, oh, yeah, well, don't say something that she did to you. Not somebody else. Because she doesn't have that. But yeah, I mean, apparently we do learn that Heather has. There's no love lost between her and Lisa. How about when she gets into Heather gets into Lisa's face?

Oh, yeah. That was. I think a big karate chop to the throat would come from me. Yeah, I would have chose violence. I know it's not the answer. Well, Heather grabs Lisa and Lisa tells her to get her hands off of her. Yeah. And like the other girls are all standing there like what in the hell is going on? What are we doing? But yet I was invited to the season finale. I'm not making about you. Not to make it about me, but yeah. And by the way, Salt Lake City was going to film a few weeks after that. Was the ultimate girlship was filming. Yeah. Yep. Whatever. Sorry, Tam. Whatever. Sorry. I'm just running unconsecuted of housewives. I couldn't be there. Couldn't be there. Well, and I noticed that Heather and Angie are going to be. I think they're in Miami as well.

Yeah. Yeah. So like they're getting they're getting praised for that little fight they had. Yeah. Mm hmm. Uh huh. Um, then afterwards Lisa asked Kyle how she handled the interaction when Kyle asked if she's okay and Lisa gets emotional. She's like, I can't talk about it. She's like, how did I do? And then she starts answering it and asking or she's like, Oh no, I can't talk about it. I get emotional. Lisa looks the girls on the cast can't be happy for her. And do you think that that there's more to it? Yeah. I mean, I mainly was just like, as they're talking about how they're getting emotional. And she's like, you know, I, yeah, first I mean, how'd I do? Was I good? Okay, never mind. Actually, Kyle, I don't need your opinion. I don't need your opinion. It's going to make me cry. I'm going to make me cry. And then the other girls like look over as she's like wiping her. And she's like, Oh, great. They're like, we're going to look like an asshole. You know, they're like, she's crying over there. Um, but I mean, it goes through smoothly.

I just, I didn't think it was a good look for Heather. Angie, I don't think was in it too much. No, I don't think it like to me, it's not who Angie is. I know Angie. And I know that I know that they would have come to a good place had Heather not stepped in and brought up the face left and Angie's like, I did not say that. I did not say that. And there you go with a flashback and you said it, Angie. Yeah. And not a good doctor. Yeah. But like, why just why keep bringing it up? I think to go after somebody's plastic surgery, unless they, you know, are doing something crazy like gigantic lips and big, you know, all these fill up, which we don't see too much anymore. Thank God. I just think that it's just not necessary. Yeah. It's at this point they've sell said all these two. Like, you know, when they said somebody's lips look like what would they say? A vulva? Well, sometimes lips aren't often limits because some people do some stupid

shit to their lips. You can't even talk. I'm not going to. I'm not going to. I'm not going to. Yeah. Some of the lips said, now that I've talked about lips, do you keep getting sent lips on your for you page where it's like they're coming down right here? The end of your lip is like falling out. That's all over my page now. Like great. That inner lip. Yeah. You know how like when people have like their lips down and then I'm suddenly I don't know what I did see. I did see something a picture of one of the pal tro and her daughter. I think it was and they it looked like they altered her lips to look like I know. I saw that too. Yeah. And it was kind of AI just ridiculous. But then Jizelle we go on. Jizelle calls the atomic women together to reminisce about their franchise, but doesn't invite Candace to the conversation with that does not stop Candace. She walks up and sits down like a boss. Yeah, she's like, I'm not bothered by this. I'll just come right on over here. Candace might not be an OG, but she joined season three and shook the atomic up.

She did. But here's the thing Candace. I thought Candace was going to come in and start like stirring it a little bit, but she didn't. She just got there. She just was like, okay, I'm going to participate with the rest of the group of the cast, which I thought was nice. Because Jizelle had already said in one of her interviews, she's like, I didn't even know she was there. How could she miss her? She had Teresa's wedding hair. I know. I mean, let's be honest. She did look like she was getting married as Teresa. Right. That's what I thought. I was like, how's your older ego, Teresa's marriage? Exactly. I go, okay. I mean, and that was her real crown from she won. Oh, yeah. Don't worry. They showed us the flashback. Yeah. Like Miss Delaware, whatever it was. And yeah, yeah. I mean, do you have any crowns lying around to your house?

Only the plastic one I bought and I wear it every night. Just kidding. No, shocking event. I've never, I mean, this is the shock news. I've never been interviewed. I just, this is also going to shock you. I haven't either. Oh boy. Well, let's move on. After complaining again to Teresa and Kyle about the party and her terrible wig, Vicki leaves early. But she, this is a problem. She doesn't just leave early. She used the word uncomfortable. It made no sense. You're in a room full of peers celebrating the show. You created what is there to be uncomfortable about? I'm not going to touch that to be honest with you. But like we have to touch a little bit on it. I'm going to keep my mouth shut on this one because I do have a lot to say. I watched Carlos King's podcast on this. I saw the clip and I mean, people are very upset about this.

And it's, you know, I'm not going to go fully into it. But like, Vicki, are you comfortable in Orange County? And whenever you're doing things in Orange County, is there a reason that all of a sudden you're in Atlanta and you're not comfortable? No, Vicki tells Teresa there's nothing to do here and that she feels invisible. So make yourself seen. Talk to people. I think that's a big thing that was bothering Vicki, which she couldn't actually say. It was like nobody's paying attention to me. And like that's a, I hate to be the bear of bad news, but like Vicki, you're surrounded by big personalities at this point. Big personalities and people that have been on housewives, some of them longer than her full time. I mean, even Teresa making that big of an effort to help Vicki, I was like, wow. I know. Because it's not like Vicki was being super nice about it. I think Vicki just didn't like her outfit. And I'm like, well, you knew Vicki. I was going to say she definitely felt uncomfortable. I think she felt insecure.

Whoever shows that outfit for her in the wig, it just wasn't good. It wasn't good. Then Vicki doubles down. She gets in the car and says, Oh, God, that was painful. Yeah. I'm just going to go get in a bath and take it, eat dinner by myself. And like that was nice stuff on my face, creams on my face. Yeah, wasn't a good look. I didn't think it was a good look for her. I also think, you know, sometimes she doesn't even know what she's saying or doing, but that can be a problem, especially in this kind of not know what you're saying or doing. Well, sometimes I think she's just so on her own head. She doesn't. 26. I know. It's like think, think a couple steps ahead. Think what's happening. Yeah. But I think a lot of people were offended by that. And also like, I said this before, but like Vicki, if you don't want to be doing these shows, don't do them. Yeah. Like I'm sorry. Jezele is clocked in every second of every minute.

I would have been clocked in right there with her. Like she is clocked and she's not missing. I mean, you even see Kyle who's like, she's isn't around talking to everybody, making sure like you're watching all of these women like work that are magic. And then you've got to think that even the day your only is visible as you make yourself. So she could have very well gone out, talked to everybody, met the new people like maybe Salt Lake City should know any of those people go talk to them, go talk to you know, everybody. Atlanta girls, Potomac, talk to people, talk to people, get out of, I mean, there's always been times where I've like felt uncomfortable in a situation. But what are my appearance may look like? And then I'm like, Oh, these shit. I didn't know people were going to go this big or this hard or this whatever. But like get out of your own way and go and make an effort and be a nice person. I do have social anxiety. If I go into a situation or a party or an event where I don't know anybody,

I do feel like, Oh God, like, you know, I don't feel comfortable. But I take myself out of that and push myself to go talk to people. But also how could she know nobody? If she is the OG of the OC, how does she not know any of those women? Think about how many bravo con she's been to. Like I think that the fact that you and I know every single person in that room. Well, my makeup artist says I've met her several times and every time she says, Hi, I'm Vicki. Nice to meet you. Oh God. Oh my God. But then this so it's a good night. It's a fun party. You can tell everybody, everybody looks, I think everybody looks good. They look like they're having fun. You know, I will say Neenie, her speech talking to the girls. She was so grateful to be there, so thankful, so appreciative.

You know, she was talking to people and hugging people. And I'm like, bring her back. I know, but then we just heard Andy say that he feels like the real housewives of Atlanta is full right now. Well, it's never too full. Well, that's what he said. She could take, she could take Kelly's. Can I stay that out loud? I heard it, but maybe that was just my brain thinking it too. Yeah. Well, anyways, the next morning, the ladies and production are still waiting in the Smirner band for Lisa Barthol. Worried they might miss their flight to Miami. Now, I had heard that the flights were delayed due to weather, like really delayed. Okay. And Lisa even says when she got in, well, I heard it wasn't taken off until 11 anyways. But what time do you think she actually got in? We don't know because she made them wait for 30 minutes, which is not cool. No, you know, and I get that.

Jezele tells her to apologize because it's rude. And I love that Lisa's coming from glam and Jezele's got like a ponytail on top of her head. I don't travel glam unless she's like straight. It has like her pink juicy suit on. She's like, where the hell? I know. This is where I'm confused. Lisa said she woke up at 4.30 am to get glam, but that's not why she's late. But then in her confessional, she said, I did not feel the need to get at 4.30 am to get ready for 11 o'clock flight. Yeah. And then she's like, well, all my glam girl stuff was in my room. And what was I going to do? Get them up at 4.30 to come do it. So I'm, did I hear that wrong that she got to? She's telling two different stories. She's telling two different stories. So if they're there doing your makeup at 4.30, pack your shit up and go. Yeah, they're not there. There's some inconsistencies in that story. And it's enough to now start irritating the girls and starting to question Lisa after hearing what they heard from the previous cast members on her.

But then I found it even more odd. Jacelle tells her she's like, just apologize because this is rude. Mm-hmm. And then she's like, um, you know, I'm going to apologize on my own time. Yeah. When I feel that's an authentic apology. And then they even panned a Kyle who's like, how hard is it just to say? It's a party. And then she used OK things. Then Lisa uses Heather DeBros one liner from the reunion years ago. Do you want me to pop a vein? How do you feel about housewives reusing other housewives one liners? Well, then I think it shows how much they should know not to be late. Like, if she should have walked in and said, oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. We didn't even need a reason. Just say you're so sorry. I mean, it would be nice to have a reason. Yeah, but her reason obviously was glam. She was glam. Who asked that? Did you get glam? I couldn't tell if that was Kyle or who that was. It was one of them.

I think it might have been just, I don't know, one of them said, did you get glam? But it just kind of seemed to me like in this moment, Lisa Barlow is having her like, she's on Dereet time. Yeah, which is ever good. Nobody likes that. Just be on time. Especially and I can't remember who made this point, but it's not like it's just the women traveling. There are like three bus falls of crew and producers and like it was a big deal. I remember getting texts saying we don't, I think it was from Vick here, somebody. We don't know if we're going to be able to go. There was, there was a huge storm. They were laying, you know, no planes. They were all grounded. We're going to have to drive. Yeah. So I think they did end up flying though. I think they ended up flying, but I do think there's places you can be late too and an airport isn't one of them. No, even if it is delayed. Right. And you have a bus full of women sitting outside your hotel waiting. I've been on a flight waiting for flight and this is going to be delayed and then reverted back to the original time.

Yeah. So you I don't know, but I didn't, I didn't really follow her story, but then I'm like also, Lisa is your glam team going to follow you to Miami now. Are they on the same flight? Probably. I mean, she really put a lot of question in all the girls' heads and like once in Miami, Louis Anges, Ellen, of course you discuss how maybe the other Salt Lake City woman were right about Lisa at all time. I mean, it's kind of sucks for Lisa because she was having like such a nice trajectory. Yeah. And the show, you know, like everyone was liking her on the show. She was, you have like a soft spot for her and then she's ruining it over her glam. Well, here's the thing had the other Salt Lake City girls not been there and put those questions into the cast head. None of that would have come up. They would have just thought she was, you know, rude for being late. That's it. Now they're questioning all the other stuff. Yeah. Now, did Vicki and Kyle room together the entire trip because they seem pretty close.

I don't think they room together, but I think they glam together. Is that what it was? Yeah, because like the girls would always enter somebody else's room when one of them was getting glam. And then like another one. So I think there was like the glam room. Teresa was doing her own glam and Lisa just lays it on so thick. Stairs out of her in the mirror, she's doing her makeup. She's like, your makeup is just so amazing. I can't believe you. You do that in five minutes and your lips. They're so great. And Teresa is just, she's doing her lips and she's like, there's this big of a pause. Thank you. Like this huge big pause. But then did you notice when Lisa Barlow was fighting with some of the girls from Salt Lake City? She goes, um, just give me a moment. I need to do my lips. I know. So she's not self aware. I will give her that. She's not self aware. But I was like, by the way, you overlined a little bit too much on her.

I'm like, that's what I'm thinking of like, how do you do that with no mirror? I'm evolving Kylie Jenner do it, but just and there was like too much on the on the side of the lip. It didn't work out for her. When I was 14 years old, I was kidnapped and health captive for nine months. I survived and I've spent my life exploring how other people survive what should have destroyed them. I'm Elizabeth Smart and these are the survivor files. I just remember this low taunting voice next to my ear saying shut up. Don't say anything. Every week I'm with survivors who live through the unthinkable.

Listen to the survivor files with Elizabeth Smart on the I Heart Radio app Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts on the new podcast. Solita, we share the messy reality of traveling alone as a woman. Every time I tried to be alone, I kept meeting people and they were like, you smiled at us, not a lot of people smile around here. It's when you're alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is and not the lies you're sold about it. It can be a time where you push your limits, change your mind or wake up to a new version of yourself.

So whether you're a solo travel veteran or you're too nervous to book your first trip, I hope you listen to Solita on the I Heart Radio app Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. God need men to rule and decides to fight back. Do not use my hard work to sell your bull. They're not just opposing what's being planned for here. Our hometown is not a test to they feel like they're standing in opposition to an entire administration.

Guess you didn't move in on a bunch of dumb hillbillies now, did you? Listen to our town on the I Heart Radio app Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Dear honeys, this is goodbye. In February of 2024, celebrated illustrator and children's book author, Patre Mathers and her husband Michael, nailed letters to dozens of friends and family members to let them know that they had died by suicide. By the time you get the shredder, both Petra and I will be dead. Next stop, Wonderland. Patre and Michael were by all accounts healthy, happy and in love. I'm Leon Nefak and I'm Alice Gregory.

Together, we set out to interview everyone who got one of Patre and Michael's letters as one married couple trying to understand another. Listen to death of an artist on the I Heart Radio app Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. So who do you think so far out of this cast? Who do you think is the shining stars? I think most definitely just sell 100 percent. And then I think Porsche is so funny. Like even when Giselle's like coming at least to Barla, then they go to her confessional to Porsche's confessional. She's a good girl. Good. Drag her. What you say? Good. Drag her. Oh my gosh. Did you like seeing like some of the like the past girls that like weren't on for these last couple seasons? Like did you like seeing Robin? Oh, yeah. I love seeing Robin. You know, I'm a big fan of Robbins and love her to death and I'm so glad that she's back in Potomac.

By the way, I did hear Potomac Traylor could possibly drop today. Really? And there was a picture that was released and I never know nowadays if it's real or not. But I don't know if it's a cast picture, but they're all like in florals and pastels. It's really pretty. Well, and there was a moment where Robin was like talking to the girls and they're like they have a like a soft moment about Karen. Yeah. Yeah. And we found out and I think we already knew this somehow. Maybe it was in the prize that Karen decided not to participate in ultimate girls trip because she was working on her sobriety and things like that, which is. I mean, commendable. But then they showed was it near when Vicki's wig was falling off when they showed Karen's. That was hilarious. I'm excited to see Karen again to I'm excited to. Okay. Did you notice that you know Mary Cosby was there? We got a hello. We saw her mingling in the background, but never really gotten balled in anything.

We saw the back of her more than we saw the front of her. Yeah, we didn't get to see much of Mary and we love Mary, which we could have seen more. And who was it? I think it was Angie that was trying to bring her drink, but then knew that she would have to go over and talk to Lisa. Lisa. Yeah, she's like every time she asked me to get a drink, she wanders away and then you see Angie didn't bother me this. I didn't feel like Angie was out for blood this episode. No, no, not at all. Not at all. Would you like to see these ultimate girls trips with maybe one from each cast and kind of traveling to different cities like they're doing now? Yeah, I think they should keep doing this. I think it's entertaining. And I know they're recreating what has happened in the past, but moving forward, if we did that and move to a cup, not we have to move to all, you know, every franchise of city, but just a few of them and do something new. Yeah. I mean, because I'm kind of enjoying seeing the girls from different franchises being together more than I enjoyed. Just watching the mass, you know, like when you'd see multiple girls from one.

Yeah, asked on these girls trips, you know, like even when Heather and Whitney were on that one season of girls trip and then it was like, you know, then they and Marisol and Alex. Yeah, like I then that you already have your like built in buddy, but I like seeing who they've all like made friends with. Well, I will tell you it is nice going in and having because I did ultimate girls trip with Vicki and it was kind of nice going in and having a kind of one called an alliance, which is somebody that. You know a friend because back then I didn't talk to a lot of housewives. I wasn't very social. I didn't reach out to them like I knew. Dorenda, I knew, Fadre, but not and you know, like I do now. Right. And it's harder to make conversation and when you have no history with somebody. Yeah. Well, Fadre is all over the worldwide web right now. You know, so I was on traders with CT and Fadre and they did have a spark.

They were so you could talk about it. Yes, they but here's thing Fadre is like so motherly. Yeah. And so in back then CT was going through a divorce. Well, he's still going through a divorce because the X or whoever she is after all I saw that she wrote just sign the papers. Yeah, he was very kind of upset about it back then. I think it was probably fresh. Anyhow, to son and he was struggling with that and you know, Fadre was always there to talk to him and she's always has great words of wisdom and good information and so I saw something they did spend a lot of time together. Yeah. And then when I saw like they did a couple like TikToks or something while they were at the award show and like one that who's the other guy that was on traders to banana. Johnny bananas. Johnny bananas and they're like throwing him his suit and make it like.

Yes, he does the transition and like did you see the post where somebody says Johnny bananas is out there looking for a single housewife. Johnny, I'll hook you up with Carmella. How about that? That's a good one because Johnny lives in North Orange County. Oh, I didn't know he lived there. Yeah, he's got a place in Florida and Orange County. Well, he's handsome. Yeah. But also I watched there was a moment where they're walking into the airport and paparazzi stops to talk to Fadre. Yeah. And they're like kind of grilling her and then CT walks up right behind her. He doesn't even acknowledge that there's press there and like puts his arms around her and just like walks her into the. Aww. And the he's a nice guy. I set with him at the round table. So we had you know seats. Everybody had their own seat. And so he was next to me until I mean, I left before him.

So, you know, no, that makes me happy. Yeah, it makes me happy too. Makes me happy too. But then it also made me think why are we going to see so many of these other people and why we're in Miami that we've already seen. I don't understand that. Yeah, I'm curious to see. I don't know who's all going to my life. They showed like a couple like for next week. And I was like, hold on. We just saw them. Why do we need them in Miami? Well, Eddie was going, well, how come there was no Orange County, Orange County girls in. And Atlanta and I said because you have to pay attention. They were already at Kyle's white party. Yeah, they were already at Kyle's white like. And you guys had that other party. So I mean, I keep going. But I mean, I think it's a good show. I think it's kind of like a feel good show. You watch it. There's not a ton of drama.

This was the most drama I think there was. Yeah. And I instilled they went to the season finale. Yeah. And I can't for the life of me just figure out why Lisa Barlow couldn't just say sorry. There's no excuse. She sat on her own timing, Teddy. Tamer, if I was an asshole to you and did something to you and you were like, Teddy, that really hurt my feelings. Well, in my own timing, I'm going to apologize. Yeah. Now I get it. I'm not agreeing with it, but I get it. I like apologies to be authentic. And then hold on. What did you say when she said that? She's like, suck it up. So what did she say? Mustard up, mustard up. Is that what she said? Said something. I'm like, okay. Well, thanks guys for tuning in to another episode of two T's in a pod. We love recapping the girls trip and we will be back multiple times later this week, recapping everything you can imagine.
