Surrogate Mom Refuses Abortion, Gives Birth, And Now Wants Custody

A battle for custody of a newborn baby boy, whose parents wanted to terminate after a serious medical diagnosis, is brewing in Texas. The baby was born this week after the surrogate carrying him, McKenna West, refused to get an abortion at the biological parents’ request when he was diagnosed en utero with a life threatening heart condition, and fled to Texas “for protection.” The baby is in the custody of his biological parents and currently being treated while the legal battle plays out in court.
