Yesterday I had like a hand of a personal thing to handle with my wife and everything is good, really, really good. You know, I will just say that without getting into too much of her business, she would hate that. You know, getting those checkups and going and doing, you know, exams and stuff like that, keep up on it, you know, because if we wouldn't know, we wouldn't know, we caught something yesterday and caught it in time. It's all good. Nothing to worry about. No reason to stress. But it was a little stressful beforehand. So, you know, for me to take the day off, that's usually, yeah, that's not very, I don't

4:08do that very often. But, you know, I wanted to be with her at the hospital and stuff. So, anyway, she's fine. It's all good. But yeah, man, get those checkups and stuff. You know, a lot of it's easy to, you know, not want to get this, you know, I talk about the scan with, you know, life image and all the time and then, you know, you can get your, your, your, all the, you know, the different things you've got to do. Well, just keep up with them because if you, it's easy to put your head in the sand and act like it's not happening, you know. But. Sure. I just got a call and ask you being. Yeah. If I had not done that, I probably would have colon cancer because I would have pre-cancer cells that they had to go in there and cut out. Yeah. And they said, you know, I probably, if I would have waited till the time, I'm quote, unquote, supposed to wait, which the old time was 50, new time is 45. Right. I probably would already have like probably when stage one stays two, but I'm ready to do mine here in the next few weeks. Yeah. And the thing, the whole colon exam thing, it's like, oh, you know, it says the word colon, so everybody gets all weird about it. You go to sleep, you don't know that it's happening and it's not that bad.

5:12You know, just like you had to do recently, you know, she, we talked about this before, but you know, she had colon cancer before and it was pretty bad. I was like, I think eight, I think eight spots that they had to take out. And, um, but insurance didn't want to pay for her to go and do it so early. They were like, well, we'll pay for it in like in five years. Yeah, I had to pay for mine out of pocket. And so, okay, you just had the same situation. Yeah. That's too young. Like, look at it, well, I'm not waiting. Like, you know, I finally found a woman that can handle me. We're going to keep you alive, girl. It's like, you're going. So she went and they did find one spot, got it out and she's all good. So it's all, it's all good. So, but you know what? They did it to me again. Same thing they did a couple of weeks ago. And that is, okay, be there at nine o'clock. Mm-hmm. And so you're on there. So I'm driving there and I got the message from Ryan. And so I make a habit out of, and this is not out of disrespect to you guys. It's because I'm crazy and I'll get all into it.

6:12And I'll just be, I'll be wanting to listen to the show the whole time. So I never listened to the show because I'll get too obsessed, right? So did not get obsessed. I want to listen to this. And Joe. Yes. Oh, I know. I like, hey, yeah. Hey, ask this question. Do this. And so I don't want to do that. I know that's highly annoying. But yes, Ryan, he should say this. But yesterday I did, I did text Ryan, Ryan text me back and I'm like, I'm just going to turn on the show for a second. And honey, as we were driving to the thing. And the segment was good with Jason. Jason. Hey, Jason, with the superman HPV. The British guy, the British guy was really good. I like that dude. But yeah, but you did a good job with it. And I texted you and I told you you both did a great job. You know, he sent me a really nice email afterwards. Jason? No, the British gentleman. And his name is, it's not Neil Rogers. That's not his name. Neil Rogers was a talk show. He was back in the day. Yep. And that's why I kept calling him Neil. I had to stop doing that. Luckily, I only did it all fair, right?

7:13So he sent me an email and it was something along the lines of his Nick Rogers. Excuse me. He says, it's very nice to meet you too. As well. You did a great job on air with us. I'm glad to hear about your experience. I hope you have a blow. But he also said this fun sentence. He says, I've only lived in the US full time for about three weeks. And we've been very touched by how kind and welcoming everybody has been. Oh, no, because British people and Europeans, they're not friendly like that. Well, they think we're overly friendly, right? Goofy kind of, I don't think like I think it's hard for them to get used to, but once they're used to it, they like it. Right. Well, anyway, so I heard the interview. I thought it was great. I wanted to keep listening to the show, but I knew I would get, I could end up possibly being a pain in your ass. So I didn't do it. But I did send you the text a good job. I thought the interview was so great. Just real quick, this has to be acknowledged. Text came and said, I got a colonoscopy after Ryan kept pushing it on air. I'm glad I did. They found some very large polyps pre-canceres inside me as well.

8:15Yes. And got them removed. I'm a hero. You are hero. And the only way, like my wife doesn't like me bringing this stuff up, but the only thing is I do bring it up is because it is a positive message as a public service announcement. Right. Listen, you got to follow up on that. And we followed up, even though insurance didn't want us to, and I'm glad that we did because they did find this button. They did get it out. And the insurance will take your money. They won't give you none. Yeah, he did some. Yeah. Oh, so where was that going with the story? Okay. So I'm going to the show. I'm going to the hospital thing where she has to get it done. Oh, the time thing that guys are good. Yeah, early. Yeah, listen to you guys. You did a great job. Thank you for handling business. No, it's not. If anyone thinks I wouldn't show up to my own show because of Amber, y'all are nuts. That's it. Y'all are nuts. Don't do that to us. Anyway, but we're supposed to be there at nine, right? For this surgery or operation. What do you want to call it? Procedure. There you go. And it's nine o'clock and I'm sitting there and we're waiting. And we're waiting. And we're waiting. They don't call her back until 11 o'clock.

9:18I actually had gotten up to go talk to the lady and in my mind, I had the way I was going to say it. I'm like, I'm going to do this in a nice kind way. I'm not going to be a pet. I just want to say, Hey, I just got I want to you explain it to me. Why that you say that be here at nine, but it's like two hours later and I'm not trying to be a pain in your ass. I just want to know what to tell my friends. Like when my friends ask why, why are you I sat for two hours and I just got enough to do that. And then they called Mary Ellen's name and I'm like, Okay, I'm not going to be a pain in the ass. I really want to ask, so it's it's that's disrespect. That's two hours. You're sitting there on their time. You don't know what the complications happened on all the people before you. Like that's I guess that's the reality. Not me. I got to give it to them. And they're not in that situation. It's not a regular doctor's office, right? Procedures have complications. You don't know how long it's going to take. They're trying to get you in and out of there. They're not there to waste your time on purpose. Well, I feel better now.

10:19I should have just asked you. Yeah. As I as me, a regular ass doctor's office get it together. Yeah. But like if it's like an outpatient procedure, yeah, things can go wrong. So that's just part of it. I think for my wife's, I waited about two or three hours after the time that they were supposed to do like her thing when she got knocked out for something recently. You know, it's really funny. Is that they call me back to the room, you know, after the procedure and she's still on whatever they give her with pro football, whatever it is they give her. Yeah. No, I'm like, hey, honey, and she's all smiling. And she's like, I want some chocolate chip ice cream. And I'm like, and by the way, she never wants chocolate. She doesn't eat ice cream. She doesn't eat sweet. I'm like, you want chocolate chip ice cream? You don't eat that, baby. And she's like, I know, but I want some so bad. She was still in Lula, Lala Land. Tell me that she loved me and all that kind of stuff. It was very sweet. I need to give some of that pro football for the house. You know what? I was mad. I didn't do that to me because I woke up and I was just like awake and I was afraid I was doing that thing where I was, you know, where you do it loopy on the drugs.

11:21And I was like, hey, have I been awake and talking to you? Yeah. I was talking to the nurse and she's like, no, you like just woke up. I'm like, oh, good. I'm like, I have no memory of anything that happened, but cool. You know, it's funny is that that happened yesterday morning and then we go home and she, they told her just a rest. She just rest. You know, don't do anything. It's the latest episode of Ted Lasso and that there's a whole scene in Ted Lasso about the same thing about being on the pro football and saying all kinds of crazy stuff with you. Which was sort of funny. I've been there. I mean, when I had the cancer on my eyelid, they said I was having like a 20 minute conversation about game of thrones and when I woke up. Oh, really? Yeah. And they're like, I guess they didn't know anything about game of thrones and they were fascinated at me. What me talking, but I don't, I just don't like the idea that. So Angel, you're going in a couple of weeks to go get yours or? Yeah. We just did the, so I just did my yearly with my doctor and then he was like, when was the last time that we did this? They looked at it. It's like, yeah, let's get you in there again. So it's been a few years and so I'm like in the process, like that initial setup.

12:25So setting the appointment date, they're getting ready to send over to me the whole pretty workout kit. Yeah. Yeah. You know what, for Mary Ellen? I had the, did you have pills to take or did you have the drink drink? So from what I understand, there's three versions. Yeah. Big jug, gallon jug one. Yeah. Tiny pint, two pints. And then there's pills. I had two pints. They gave her the pills. Yeah. We got that good insurance. Uh, well, it was it's still, it's still expansive. Uh, they still, it wasn't even an option for me. They, they put in for it and they're like, no, you're serious. You don't have any. Have a good time. You know what they did? They told her how much it would be. And then they said, but we can give you a little gift certificate or whatever a little coupon. And then it'll just be 60 bucks. And she hated the drink so much that she was willing, you know, paid the 60 bucks to get the, get the pills. Uh, but um, the pint, the double pint glass wasn't too bad, but I'd rather go pill 100 percent. You know what they're pushing a lot, Angel, for guys that are, you know, macho dudes, they're like, I'm not getting a colonoscopy.

13:26You're not going to put anything up my, you know, you do it at a hooters. They're, they're, they're really pushing the colaguard thing. They're like, listen, if you won't do that at least do colaguard, which is the one that, the test you can take and send it in and, you know, and if there's something, then they'll let you know, hey, man, you need to go in and really do that. I love mailing my house. Yeah. I was going to say, how's the, uh, how effective are those? I believe I saw all, uh, no, our doctor was talking to us about it. And I think they're like 95 percent. They're pretty good. And that's, that's how Mary Ellen caught it the first time when she, uh, when five years ago, she caught it with colaguard. Uh, so, you know, for people that are like, so macho and like, they're not going to put up anything in my wazoo, um, the, you know, you can do the colaguard thing. It's, it's good to have it checked. But if that's your, if that's like if you're dude and that's your hang up, um, I feel bad for you. Yeah. Well, there are dudes that are like that again. There might be, I feel bad for you. Like, you, you can't get out of your own way to check your own health.

14:27Yeah. I know. Like, like, you're going to make it, cause it's, that's straight to one way. Yeah. That's, that's, that's just dumb logic. Yeah. The thing is, you're, you're out. You don't even know what happened. Yeah. You know, and it takes less, I think it took them about an hour. Uh, she was back there for about an hour or so. Yeah. It's not, it's not long. The day before is the roughest part. The day after you get done, you wake up, you feel good. You go get some Chipotle. That's what I did. Yeah. She didn't feel like eating. Uh, she didn't feel like eating or anything. And she needed some rest. But so we, we just kind of relaxed afterwards and, like, that's all kinds of, I mean, tests are so much, doing all that stuff is so much easier now. People have an old school mentality about it. I was listening to Tom and Dan on the way in before that. And they had a guy in there who's talking about, get your prostate checked. Mm-hmm. I guess you look like they were saying on there, that's a blood test now. That's not even a, that's not even an older finger. Yeah. They had Montel Jordan on it. So Montel Jordan, uh, this is how we do it. Uh, the singer. Um, he, that, you know, it's, it's September. It is that awareness month. Yeah. And so he was promoting that.

15:28And I didn't, I, the same way, I didn't know about the blood test. I didn't realize it had come down to a, um, that is, they got it down to a blood test. But the, the, the, hang up there, the trick is, is that you got to be, uh, proactive. And so like, on your yearly checkup, you got to make sure your doctor is, uh, doing that test because it is an extra fee. Uh, okay. Yeah. Now when I, when they did my, uh, cool and ask me, they did the prostate check at the same time. Is that the turn your head and cough one? I think it is. I've never had to turn your head and coughs. I don't know what, which one. I mean, turn your head and cough is when you're doing a physical checkered for hernia. Hernia, that's what they're checking for. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, and I haven't had the finger, the finger test in a while that, that's embarrassing. Now, that is, anyway, we can get rid of that. That's embarrassing. I mean, they tell you, you gotta lay down. Yeah. Now, the blood test. Get in the, get in the fetal position and, uh, oh, that one, I don't, I wasn't a fan

16:30of that. Uh, they know a couple de kilos on a Sunday. Well, I mean, if I'm paying for it, then, uh, well, I guess you're already paying for it. Yeah. All right. Listen, it's, uh, it's a week in the boot. It's a week in the, it's a Thursday. We got a bunch of big dumb fun today. We got to aiming the counselor, we're being a little bit later on. I need the belt because I'm auctioning it off on Saturday and I'll be, you know, I'll be in that tent and people won't bid on it if it's not physically with me. Yeah. You know, did she bring in the other, is the other belt in? No, Russ, again, we can't talk about it because people are going to think that we're being and they're going to text you. I don't care. Again, you know, we could be so mean. I actually enjoy being mean sometimes.

20:36It's kind of fun. And so it's okay with me, especially when you deserve to get the, the, the, the, the get chewed out a little bit. Yeah. Yeah. But some people are little babies that can't take reality and they get real upset and they throw a hissy fit for five hours. Never leave her alone with me again. It wasn't that bad. Yeah. I need the belt by, by Saturday so I can have it in the tent. You know, the real radio tent because we're auctioning off for the Carly K can't just screening fun. I've been working on this for what six months. I think you're honestly, blood. Hmm. I think you're going to have to just chalk it up to you got scammed at this point. Well, no company operates like this. And when you like it seems to be like one person, it's her belt that she begged me to get. I finally gave it. I don't think she scammed you. I'm saying this company did. No, I know. Maybe whatever. I, I bought you a belt. It's put you up, up, up to you. It didn't come in. Then you don't have a belt because I told her if I get you a new belt, I am going to auction this one off this way. I can justify it in my head. I'll auction this one off for the charity so we can get people screening.

21:38And we've, we haven't totally depleted, but we bought a lot of screenings last month. So, you know, we want to be able to get more. Our donations are down. Let's just say, but I just got a check for $2,000 and I'm going to, we've got other things to auction on Saturday, but the belt I'm hoping will do really well. And so I already told her, listen, if I get you a new belt, we're going to auction off your other one and Saturday's the day. So I need to get it in advance. I've got to tell you to grab it from her. And regard. Yes, she wouldn't have left it with either one of us, dude. You would have told her he rusts once the belt. No, damn, no. No, and then she was going on after the show and she's like, guys, I think that rust really has the belt. And he paid the guy extra money to not give it to me. So he can like hold this over my head or like show this is a real conversation that happened. Well, she's all there. She's a conspiracy theory. Yeah. No, yeah, she's a lunatic. I don't have the belt. I just, no, no, no, again, here what he said that you paid. Yeah. That's not true.

22:38Yeah. That's not accurate at all. I don't know. It is me. I'd be on the phone every day with this guy because I'm assuming that like he just took the money card, right? I think you might still have some. Yeah, I used a card. Yeah, you might, you're still following the window of having some protections there. Yeah, I always use American Express too. So they cover me. I charge back at this point. Like this is insane. It's been five months. It's been about five months. It doesn't take five months to make a wrestling belt. Not according to her. No, it just, we just, you just ordered it the other day. And then all honestly, the one we had was fine. It was great. You know, it was a wrestling belt. It was, it wasn't her colors or whatever. Yeah, I know. And she said it didn't feel professional, you know? So, okay. So I gave in and I got the least professional person I've ever met. So she's got a match on Saturday and I, she's got to take the belt to the ring. I get that. I'll let her take the belt to the ring. But I need it beforehand in the tent and the real radio tent because if I, you know, people are going to bid on it.

23:40It goes to the highest bidder kind of a thing. If they're going to bid on it, they got to be able to see it and see that it's been signed by, oh, I got a message from Tio Piper the other day. She's going to come see us soon. Any Tio Piper. It was signed by her. Holly, Holly, J. Myself. I think Angel, did you sign it? No, I got to get you sign it. Okay. And then and Ryan and hopefully it'll raise a lot of value. You just went up. Yeah. There you go. Yeah. It just went up. But I got to get, I get, she coming in on Friday. Uh, yeah. Okay. All right. I'll get it then. All right. I'll get it from her then. Great. Yeah. Did she do it? Did you guys crazy yesterday? It was. Oh, dude. And like in the last, you know, between Friday and then today, it's just been a lot in this many days. More than normal. Yeah. Okay. Here's the thing. Like, and I get, I get how her brain works. Like when you're here, she sees you as an authority figure, right? Yeah. So she doesn't act up as much. Right, right, right, right. But when me and Angel are here, she does not view us that way.

24:43And when I have to correct her because she's interrupting or coming in in the middle of segments or doing whatever, she gets upset. Ryan, be careful. You're going to upset people. I know. You're going to be mean. So she threw like a temper tantrum for most of the morning. Oh, really? And it's just like, okay. Really? I'm just trying to be like, hey, this is how you do. Where you stop? I mean, this is crazy. So I don't think I want to be left alone with her. Yeah. That's the part. Like, yes, this is cartoon world. Yes. And yes, we embellish and yes, we exaggerate. Exaggerate. They're all those things. But in all of that, there are certain guidelines and certain rules into the way that the broadcast actually, you know, happens. And if you're out for half of a segment, and then your idea of contributing is jumping in the middle of a conversation and yelling drones into the microphone without any concept or context of what the conversation is on is just to make it look like you're participating. Yeah.

25:43It's really more detrimental than helpful. Well, there's an old rule that I haven't had to mention in a long time because it's sort of common sense. If you're not back before the segment starts, you should wait outside and don't come at that. And don't come in during the middle of a segment because it's disruptive that we're doing a show and I'm a big mean jerk for saying that. Well, I don't know. It's, it's fine. I understand she's not here five days a week like we are. And so she did it. But with that said, we'd like we give, you know, all of them, we give them all, all that grace. So it's not often that we say, hey, do this, please. Yeah. Can we handle, can we do this? Right? Because they are here that limited amount of time and that, and it is, I guess sometimes difficult to remember that this is cartoon world understood. But like in the process of doing the broadcast that we're doing the thing and we ask you, we say to you, please, please pay attention to this. That's not the moment for you to go off the deep end and try to be extra. Yeah.

26:44And the thought of not being back when it's time to get back on the air baffles me because like that's the most important thing that we're doing. You know, the show is about to be back on beat, be here ready to go. Yeah. Yeah. I'll, I'll address that. I love her, but I want a shaker. Listen, she's with, she is. She's a disruptor. She's funny to me. But she's not normal. That's for sure. But um, oh, Lord, she's all right. But I'm not, you know, you got to be here to wrangle her. That's all. Yeah. Exactly what you're saying. You know, the, the, the, the lunacy part of it and the, the, the element of humor on all of that. Yeah. Yeah. So the way, the, what takes away from that is again, there is, I know it, it sounds crazy and I know it sounds foreign to her, but there is a method to this. You know, there is. Yeah. Believe it, believe it or not. Oh, anyway. Yeah. So maybe we, you know what? We've got, uh, Amy, the council were coming today. Maybe I'll get some advice from her and how to handle this situation.

27:44Intervention. Yeah, yeah. We'll do it. We're going to do it without the person that needs the intervention. Well, I think this particular one, we need to ramp up first angel.
