That's the year welcome. That's only because this is about to happen. I knew it. I knew it. I was in white to being nice to me. Yeah, I got to butter him up before you melt them down. Um, great. Amber Nova is the full thought of model. And she does live her life full throttle. People go, Hey, is Amber Nova a character? Is Amber Nova like that full time? Yes. This is this is Amber 100%. The only version that you don't get of Amber, I guess, is angels brought this up before. She is a very dark sense of humor. Off air. Obliq. And it's bad. And I think it has to do for a lot of different reasons. It could be because she was sent to a child reform school for smoking a little bit of weed. Yes. Um, it could be because she's an EMT and EMTs have very dark sense of humor. Former EMT, but yes, dark sense of humor. Or it could be because she's her whole job is to take blows to the various parts of her body. CTEs, a hell of a drug. But Amber has this, uh, I mean, I, if you're a listener, you obviously don't know this.

Amber will just talk and I don't think I don't think there's a filter from brain to mouth. Like, uh, a lot of people have, you know, like I, a lot of people go, should I say this thing? Amber does not have that. Amber will just, uh, Amber's enrolled by her intrusive thoughts. Yes. Intrusive thoughts all day. You'll be surprised half of things I think about and don't say. Yes, I would. I would actually, I'd be more interested to hear those to be honest with you. Um, but Amber on Friday, we did a live broadcast in Universal Studios. Rest was out and when rest is away, and the Amber will play. The monsters will play. Yeah. So Amber decided to get a little bit froggy on Friday morning and she's decided to, uh, to let some grievances air. So to speak. And, uh, we always like joke like Russ doesn't listen to the show. Blah blah blah. But here's the thing. Even if Russ doesn't listen to the show, there's a thousand millions out there that will text him. Thousands. Snitches. Snitches.

But they do it anyways. There's a bunch of stitch covered snitches out there that send just the text or clips of the videos to Russ. And then he will watch that. He will. If you clip something, he will watch it. That's how his brain works. And Amber was like, Hey, Russ has been a little bit grumpy. He's been cranky. He's been. It's a time off. I said he needed a vacation. Yeah. He said he needed a vacation. Yeah. I felt like he, you know, he's not as happy self sometimes. Yeah. Well, Russ, the other day goes, uh, guys. Any other day. I just not really feeling like dealing with Amber. Some just take Wednesday off. You guys still want to do the show. Yeah. We'll do the show. No problem. But you heard his feelings and he has been vocal about that. I don't know if you listen to the show yesterday at all. I don't know if you guys have heard the times when you guys have heard my feelings and nobody gave a rats about it. Oh, oh, okay. That's what? See, unlike him, I try not to say bad words.

That is oh my gosh, I just said so lie. Okay, I'm good. No, no, no, no, what Amber's doing, and this is called Darvo. It's called Darvo. Oh, don't you dare say I am never psychological manipulation tactic. I do not do that. That's used by people and you do do this. I do not do that. You deny, you attack, and then you reverse the victim in a fender. That's what you just do. I can not believe you think I do stuff like that. You 100. That's how you argue. Any time we we tell you something we point something out to you. That's exactly what you do. Yeah, no, you just you just okay, you just had a thought and you thought about it and went, oh no, I do that. And then you went, no, I'm just trying to be fair here where I've said things were like, hey, you guys have kind of hurt my feelings or I've felt this respect at times. And I'm completely shut down and blown off and you guys Darvo me. Oh, he's Darvoing the Darvo. It's a double Darvo. Yeah, you can't, you can't Darvo my Darvo. My goodness. Okay, let's just go

back. No, no, no, just just real quick just to show you what you did. Watch this. I said, hey, you did this. You then denied that you did that. And then you attacked me. And then you were versed to victim order thus making yourself the victim and yelling at us. So just understand that that is what you're doing. You guys think you've never done that to me before. We do it all time. Exactly. But we do it on air for Jokey Joe purposes. No, in person when when when something is wrong, this is what you do every time, especially when we catch you in your little like, well, your little white lies that you do all the time. I don't white lie. I admit when I'm wrong, and you guys call it bibbing. And I'm like, oh, well, I guess that wasn't 100% right on that. Amber. Yes. You're about to get a bless your heart. Okay, let's go back to the rest thing. Yeah. So I hurt Russ's feelings. So he didn't want to come into work today. Mm hmm. Well, good. You know, maybe it's a real amber to come out. I think

it should be time to I think you need to pick a lane. I'm tired of getting walked all over. No, you guys Darvo mean it's okay, but I can't Darvo you back. So you know what? To hell with you. I call parlay as well. Now you're just saying words. No, I call parlay. What's the parlay? What do you want? We need to respect each host feelings and know that you guys you you clearly just admitted you Darvo us all the time. I was saying that as a joke. I don't actually do that. I did not hurt Russ's feelings. You did. I did not. You did because Russ feels like he does a lot for you. He does and I'm grateful and I've not I can't even say how many times I have thanked Russ how grateful I am for everything he's done. Uh huh. Or you act out and you don't have the belt. You don't have the you don't have the things that he named my fault that the guy we paid has not has I have not received it yet. Okay. I paid someone for a service. Yeah. That service has not been completed. So just real quick. You're denying that it's your fault. You are now attacking the

credibility of the maker of the belt and you're reversing now. You're the victim. Is that what's happening here? You know what? I guess I just absolutely suck. I'm a real stinker lately. Guys, it's all my fault. I mean, no, I'm not getting at you. I do feel like you need to make the other pivot again. Then the next pivot is now now. Yeah. Everything that's wrong with the world is is her fault. Yeah. It's not like we paid a man. We picked a man to create a championship belt three months later. It's not here. I mean, uh, sure, but you got to pick a lane Amber. Okay. I don't know for us always has your best interests in mind either. You know what I mean? There's been a couple things where like, you know, you've had to, you've had to do some stuff that maybe Amber Nova didn't want to do. I think it's time you do go full heal at Russ. You know what I mean? Let those intrusive thoughts fly. I don't trust you. Why would you not trust me? I'm so trustworthy. Oh, yeah. I think what you're trying to do is you're like, you know what? That's right.

Full heal on Russ. Just just attack him. Go right after him. Yeah. He respect that one. This is not Sound like it. No. See when you call him fat, he thinks it's hilarious. When you call him like funny names or a deaf bitch on air, he laughs. If I make a little joke, he takes it all personal. Did you just call him a deaf bitch? No, no, no. It's not a disability, dude. Like that. I don't trust you. Ryan gets away for things because, you know, okay, no. So, but here's the thing. And there's levels to this. And this is maybe where what's gotten you in a pickle and in the jam that you're in right now. And as you got to understand and appreciate this, you're right. You just stated it. There are levels to this. And so there are jokes and there are things that Ryan can say because he's been here longer, right? And it's just it's been here longer, been around longer has built up that, let's say that credibility or that well that he can go to. He's done that,

right? Yeah. Because there's things that Ryan could say that neither one of us, neither you or I can say, there's just is. And then sometimes out of nowhere, to use some of the terminology that you would understand, you'll come off the top rope and grab something that Ryan has said. Yeah. And throw that at him and it's I'm uncomfortable when she does that. And then and he's not and you're thinking, oh, well, Ryan says it. Well, yeah, you neither you or I can say that. Does that make sense to you? Yes. There's been times where I've made jokes where Russ has thought it was funny. And then there's been times where I like, I think he took it personal where I'm not the comedian on the show that is Ryan's role. Right. So every time every time you've taken a shot, I could tell you this part and this part is 100% sure. Every single time, every single time he might have chuckled, he might have given you a smirk, but every single time that you've gone at him, it's hurt his feelings every single time. Savannah made me she made me that time. And Savannah, no, no, no, no, no, we're attacking. Yes, I'll do it. And I went full on. Okay, I'm

gonna. If you guys really want me to be mean and hurt his feelings and Savannah's like, come on, Amber, do it. And I like shot fired. But here's the thing. I had to go full heal. So I just went. I'm a comedian. I know I was like, I've been doing comedy for the better part of 14 years professionally, right? If I throw in fat joke at Russ, right? He's not. Would you do about 27 times a day? But here's the reality. He's not even that fat. You know what I mean? He's a bigger guy for sure, but he's not a big fat fat. Oh, my gosh. But like, I'm also I'm not the first person to throw fat joke at Russ. Drunk either bare Daniel dirty gym. All the people throughout all the years have been throwing these kind of jokes at Russ. So it's is a bit of water off a duck's back. Fat Joe. There's there's right. Well, here's this and that's the point I'm about to make. When Amber Nova beautiful, tiny petite in shape Amber Nova is well known for her abs.

Looks at Russ and go, Hey, fat sack of crap. It's gonna. It's gonna hurt a little bit differently. You always you always go too hard and too far. You literally called him a deaf bitch like 30 seconds ago. No, I was repeating what you said one morning. I will run the tape. I will run the tape. I will run it. I will run the tape. I got no tape to run. I will run the tape. On YouTube forever. It exists forever. It was a morning where he was like, um, what? And you were like, you deaf bitch. And then I busted out laughing because I never said it. But I, but there's a way to do that. There's that's timing. There's things like in that moment, like if he's like, can't hear something. And I'm like, lightly like you, deaf bitch. You know, like it's like, it's funny. You going, you deaf bitch. There's something. I never did that. I'm literally my god. Abraham, what are you doing right now? I'm not gaslighting. I said, we're on an abusive relationship with Amber Nova. You guys

understand that right between the gaslighting. The, the, the passive aggressive manipulation, the guilt tripping, the playing the martyr. Like, oh, it's everything's my fault. We're all in an abusive relationship. All of our land, no, center floor to eye heart media isn't an abusive relationship with Amber Nova. We have to stop this today. Take some accountability. I never said that. I was repeating what you said. I said, did you? You said these things? You did. So then I say them. And then you're trying to say that I just said the moment. No, I'm repeating something that you said as an example. You know what they're driving me insane. You know what, then, then how about this? Uh, then Amber, let's not repeat what other people say. I did it only for this example. I didn't repeat it just for fun, Z's. Uh-huh. Okay, just know that it hurts for us. It's feelings. If you want dark side of Amber, don't get your don't get mad. I want dark side of Amber. I say go darker today. I say go Amber. Go the darkest you've ever been. I think you want me fired.

No, no, no. You're not getting fired. You're not getting fired. Yeah, you're good. I think this is all a trick. No, it's not a trick. I think for the listeners, it'd be very fun to see the dark Amber Nova. Amber real heel Amber Nova today. I say go for it. But when it rust comes back, you have to be nice to rust. I'm sorry. I can be me. I can be with angels mean to rust. It also very much hurts. Ruses feeling. Yeah, that's why I don't do. I never mean to rust. He's my boss. You guys tell me that I kiss his ass all the time. He's technically not your boss. By the way, bring that up. He loves it. Okay, technically, technically, no, but he is the reason I have this job. All right, girl. Look, we're going to move past this. Just know, be nicer to rust, but not for today. Today, your mean Amber Nova. Okay. I do. Do you know, are you aware when you're lying? I take accountability for things I do all the time. You guys are just just drive me absolutely

insane. There's thousands of text messages and messages and the chat and everything that are saying that no, you do not. Okay, they're liars. There we go. I immediately take accountability. Listeners. They're liars. I don't know. Tell them. That's right, Amber. They're liars. Yeah. We'll be going back with more liars in the morning. Now, can't. I put you in here. They're actually hiring as well. So that's a fantastic resource. Definitely check that out. It is. Do you guys feel it? You guys feel it today? Are you feeling it right now? It is. It is season. It's the football day. Oh, yeah. Australian football. Go NFL starts today. We got some action going on. First game tonight. It's going to be New England Patriots versus the Seattle Seahawks. Wednesday night for us. Thursday for them. It's going to be no. That's going to be the Thursday night game. Oh, okay. Yeah. Tomorrow for us is going to be 49ers and Rams. Tonight is Patriots. And but it's going to feel like Thursday for them. Thursday. Yeah. Thank you. Fusing when you go down under. Yeah. But so we've we've got the New England Patriots versus the

Seattle Seahawks. Lumen field in Seattle. They are going to get to the champs are going to go on the, you know, going to get to start defending their championship. Have you guys had a chance to see the Seattle Seahawks ring? No, it's incredible. It's absolutely incredible. It's not something. Again, the Super Bowl Championship ring has evolved to a thing that you would only wear, let's say, like on draft day, like if you're part of the draft broadcast or you're on TV, I can't imagine these guys wearing those things on a day-to-day basis. I would wear it all around my house. I'll never see you Super Bowl ring, but, you know, yeah. So Ryan, how are you feeling about your teams? Odds. Gotta be like what? Less than 5% chance they're going to win this game. Yeah, it's not not good. But I am a Patriots fan. I'm always going to root for my team, but realistically, I don't have a lot of high hopes for this particular game. The Super Bowl last year was obviously very bad for us, and we're doing it again. I don't know really that much about Seattle. I just know they're a good

team and it's the... Seattle Seahawks fans, let me know. Hit me out. Real Mobile 777-031. I don't think you guys lost a lot, like a lot of like in the offseason. No, the Seahawks kind of reloaded. Yeah, they're kind of re-up. They lost Kenneth Walker. That's the big loss that they had when Ticasa City, but I'll tell you what, that running back out of Notre Dame, he's got fresh legs, he's quick, he's shifty. I don't think the Patriots can be able to stop him. Unfortunately, I think everyone 100% correct. Yeah. It's going to be a hard year for the Patriots. We have a much harder schedule this year than last year, and I don't think our team is really up for it. So I'm going to go, if we do a solid 500, I'd be happy with that. But just like Ryan, the Patriots are always cheap to try to win a game or two. Well, I'm not cheating. Right, I mean like with... It's going to be... You're going to be a QB1, right? Right, right, right. Yeah. He's still there. Yeah, he's still there. Look, all the... If you're going to bring up the cheating, okay, much like my wife. Don't... the people that cheated aren't there anymore.

But it's... It's institutional. It's just ingrained in the system. He'll see by association. That's right. It's not a thing. And Robert Kraft is barely doing anything at this point. He's getting massages. He's busy getting massages. Did he ever go to jail? Is there a mug shop for that guy? I've never seen one. I think there was a mug shop. I don't believe he went to jail. Okay. Well, he's got the don't go to jail money. Every team in the NFL has some kind of... I feel like I'm rushed now. I'm slowly turning it into a rush. But like everybody's got a pass. Everybody's got a history. It hurts when Ray does it. Ray is what Amber is to rush. Like when Ray says something, it hurts me. Whereas like if Russ said it, it wouldn't... It wouldn't... It wouldn't even think twice. Tuck it up, Parker. It's not like we've been a little bit. I love how she doesn't finish it. Here she can be a little bit. I said it softly. All right. So we got that game going on tonight. And then tomorrow, like we've been talking about,

this is another key matchup. It's going to be the 49ers and the Rams. And that's going to be 835 our time. Aaron Donald is not playing. That's huge. Is it though in the sense of him getting back? I know he just signed and he wasn't in camp all camp long. So I've been following this dude on Instagram since he retired. Do you? Did he looks like he's in phenomenal shape? Did you see the other clip with Miles Garrett and him training with the rugby players? No, the rugby guy that's showing him how to... I mean, testosterone. I can't watch that. Oh, dude. It was so... I'm pretty sure that's Miles Garrett. And he's working out with this rugby superstar phenom and showing him basically how to hit harder. Oh, I did hear about that. Yeah, it's absolutely terrifying. Like if you're a football player, that's a terrifying clip to see. Like that beast of a human being being taught how to hit more efficiently. Yeah, that's scary. But Angel, can I... I know it's your master's book.

No, go ahead. You... Yesterday, you brought in the ESPN camera operator that zoomed in on that lady's getting a lot of flat. Well, the lady was identified. Yeah. And she had to put her Instagram to drive it. Oh, instantly on Saturday night. Not that anybody was looking. Did you see the side of that? She makes a video. She makes a video on her TikTok. hilarious. And it's the messages that dudes have sent her. And honestly, if I was a hot lady like, I'm deleting my profile. Immediately, she's got dudes that are sending her their height, their weight, and how much they take home annually. And there's guys on the street. And there's guys that are straight up saying, ruined me. Yeah. Yeah. He said, one guy just messaged, I'm going to Whole Foods. Do you want anything? No, guys says bankrupt me. I mean, like, this girl's whole life. But her response and incident. Her responses were fantastic to those though. She's like, I like Whole Foods. I like it. Like, I don't know if this lady does any... Do you know if she doesn't like modeling or anything professional?

No, I don't believe she does. She just stays her hot. Yeah, it's all miss. Yeah, all miss hot. There are guys out there that are like, I think they're called simps, and they do want you to like talk me to them. I love how you slow roll that and acted like that's the first time you had heard that word. I mean, I'm certain, Amber, that you're familiar with the simps in your universe. Right, I'm explaining this for other people. I'm like, cleaning them, she says. Yeah, I've had some people message me and be like, hey, will you talk me into me? And I'm like, just, yeah, call me a loser. And I'm like, this is weird. I'll never ask you to talk me into him. No, he should. Why do you do it so much? Wait, so, wait, what do you do? You get on like a Zoom call with them and you like, do you talk your mean to them? No, just like chat, like just messages. She's like, text messaging, you're text messaging, like, okay, loser. I don't text message people. I've had this happen before and I'm just like, this is kind of weird and uncomfortable. Okay, I want to get back to that, but we're in the middle of monster sports. I'm sorry. You practice girl up who's literally having the same thing. All right, so real quick, Laura, we're going to go choose the...

As the NFL season is getting ready to start, AFCE, they're predicting the bills are going to go 11 and six Patriots, 9 and 8, Jets, 6 and 11, dolphins, 2 and 15. They're wrong. I think I'm a row. I'm a row. I am fighting with myself right now on taking the over on wins. You think they hit three wins? 100% and I also bet big money on those Raiders game this weekend. All right. Thank you. AFC North is going to be the Ravens 12 and 5. Bengals 11 and 6, Steelers 9 and 8, and Browns 5 and 12. Take the under on that. Yeah, AFC South is going to be Texans, 11 and 6 Jaguars, 8 and 9, Colts, 7 and 10, and the Titans, 3 and 14. That's a tough one. AFC West is going to be the Broncos, 12 and 5, Chiefs, 10 and 7, Chargers, 9 and 8, Raiders, 5 and 12. There's no way the Raiders have more wins than dolphins.

I don't care who you are. Right. I'm sorry, but you got to believe it, buddy. No. Cowboys in the NFC East Cowboys are going to go 10 and 7, Eagles 9 and 8, giants, 8 and 9, and the Comma Doors are going to go 7 and 10. NFC North Lions, they're predicting them to be the favorite. 12 and 5, Packers 11 and 6, Bears 10 and 7, and Vikings 10 and 7. The NFC North is going to be ridiculous. AFC South is saying, 8 and 9, and then Buckingeers are 7 and 10, but this came out before the news that your boy got resigned. Baker beaker. Yeah, Baker may have signed the three year, $165 million extension. So hopefully that puts them in a good mood and changes that. So Buckingeers 7 and 10, Falcons 6 and 11, Panthers 6 and 11, and then the NFC West 14 and 3, 12 and 5 are the Seahawks, 49ers are 10 and 7, Cardinals are 3 and 14,

whoof. And yeah, and so all of those are courtesy, those are predictions and those are courtesy of, they give my man this proper dues and it as properers, John Breach of CBS Sports. There's no way the Falcons win six games with 2S Quarterback. There's no way. Do you don't think well, he started, he was announced. He started. He started. Do you think as soon as, what's like his name is? Michael Panics. Panics is healthy. They're going to put a slide of mind. 100%. There's no way they're winning six games. Do you think he makes it out of the game one un-ingered? Yeah, I think he will. I think he will, but you know, he's fragile. What was he supposed to say? He's my dainty boy. Yeah, the rest of Miami's team wasn't the problem for Tua. Tua's to his problem. They had Tyreek, they had Waddle, they had stars all over the field, HN. Yeah, so good luck Falcons. I don't know why you would pick him. I don't know why you would start him as the quarterback situation. Why did he get that bad in the corner? They kind of had, well, I don't know why they picked him up in free agency.

That's a question that will always be asked. But they end up having to put him as their starter. Because yeah, Panics still is, according to what he told coach, he wasn't healthy or ready to go yet. He wants to watch Tua get hit. He's just a guy that's mad at Tua. So he hired him. That's them Lex Luthan nonsense. I like that. And that's Monster Sports. All right, we'll stick around. Up next we've got friendly Ray Trenley, not just talking sports, but talking legal stuff, talking all the things. We're going to find out more about Amber Nova's Simpsons and all that and more. You're listening to the monsters in the morning. I'm real ready at 104.1. You're listening to the monsters in the morning. I'll real radio 104.1. And it's Ryan. I'm hosting today. I'm here with Angel Rivera. Amber Nova. Friendly Ray is hanging out with us a little bit too. But friend of the show comes in.

And that is Jason Mendelsen. You guys have seen him a few times on the show. And he's a lovely fella. And he is going to be doing a TED Talk with TEDx or Lando. And he brought Neil, sorry, Nick Rogers in, who runs TEDx or Lando as well. How you doing, fellas? I'm doing great. Thrilled to be here. Is that okay? Yeah, go for it. We'll say very good. Thank you. Neil Rogers, we should know him. They said that's my dad. Yeah, no, it's, well, we love a good Neil Rogers around here. I feel like he's in like some kind of a TV guy in America. I don't know. He could be. I'm just out on the horse. I'm not so important for you there. Now Jason, just so people are familiar with you. And this one's always, it's always hard for me to say, but it's your branding. You came up with this yourself. You are, you can find Jason online. It's Superman HPV. SupermanHPV.com is the website for all that, right? And the back story on that is Jason had cancer.

And he had cancer from HPV, which HPV does cause cancer. You can get vaccines for that and whatnot. You definitely should. But that's my opinion. We're not here to talk vaccines. But we're here to, so Jason, what is your TED text? Excuse me, TEDx talk about. So I'm really excited about it. So I'm going to discuss eliminating stigma, shame and silence from not only in HPV diagnosis, but from all diagnoses. Right. So epilepsy, Crohn's mental health. So people can get to the doctor more quickly, feel more comfortable, get diagnosed more quickly and have better outcomes. When you say people, are you specifically talking about men in general? You know what? I do address that directly because that's not. It seems like, dude, we're the worst at this part of it. 100%. It is, it's an issue, right? So at the end of the day, yes. I'll be directly addressing that, as well as just the need for people to feel more comfortable to get to the doctor more quickly for better outcomes. How long did it take you to become comfortable? I mean, like obviously you've made it your brand, SupermanHPV. HPV, those are three big letters for a lot of people.

And it's one of the most common viruses that humans get. I mean, like if you are having sex and you have not gotten a vaccine and you are like 40, you probably have had it at some point, right? Like that's how it is. But people are afraid to talk about it. People are, uh, and you've leaned into it. How long did it take for you to become comfortable? Hey, calling yourself SupermanHPV and just bringing it up at all. You know what? So I'm not like your normal person. I don't mean because I'm a superhero. I mean, because I was comfortable from the beginning. To be honest with you, I went public. I researched it. I found out eight out of 10 adults in their lifetime had the virus. And I thought, why wouldn't I be comfortable? It wasn't until I started speaking to people about it that I realized how many people were uncomfortable and not talking about it. And so from the beginning, I felt comfortable. But I would tell you 99% of people I speak with aren't going public, aren't talking about it because they're ashamed because it is HPV related. Yeah. And it's one of those that's like, like not to relate it to like skin cancer too much.

But it's a cancer that you can catch early. It's treatable. You can live a normal life. A lot of people, it just clears out with them like naturally. But the ones that don't tend to be the more cancerous ones. And it can be cancer across the board. Yours happened to be neck cancer. I had tonsil cancer. Tonsil cancer. And they believe I was exposed at 18 or 19, like we've talked about in the past and that the virus laid dormant in the crypts of my throat for decades. That is the, that's the part that I think most, most anybody kind of tenses up because it was, it was the long time from then till when you were diagnosed with cancer. And the fact that it can like live inside of you for that long, like a ticking time bomb. Would there have been anything that you could have done like test-wise or anything that would have shown that ahead of time? There are no tests currently for tongue throat and tongue cancer. Test-wise. Like a woman would have a pap smear right for cervical. But there's no tests like that for men. What, so ever? Most people would test positive for HPV. But the question is, is it going to become cancer? And that's the part that test doesn't exist today,

unless you're doing a biopsy of the tongue throat and tonsils. Wow. That's, that's wild. Now, what made you, I mean, your whole family is a philanthropy-based family. I mean, like we've had your sons and here before. You guys do, but what made you like, okay, this, you know what, this is my thing. This is what the plate, the hand that I was dealt, I'm going to go make sure as few people after me, this happens to. You know, I just felt responsible. I mean, I've said it before in my videos to my kids saying goodbye. I was, was, I just didn't know if it was the end. And when I realized there was a vaccine that could protect boys and girls, is that better? Is that not sure if that's fully plugged? I'm not sure if it's fully like, push it. No, I just want to move it closer to the mic. Okay. Um, I just figured if I could protect others from the pain that my family went through, why wouldn't I do it? I felt responsible to do it. And we joke, you know, about Superman, the whole thing. But I honestly would love to be the guy that helps protect the planet from HPV-preventable cancers. And so it just, I don't know, I'm parents who are these me to do the right thing,

help people where I could. And so it just was driven to do it, to be honest. Jason, so how does it happen where you get to this point now where you're getting ready to do a pretty cool experience and do a TED talk like is there something that's been in the works for quite some time? Does a turnaround happen pretty quickly? What's that process like? So if we're talking specifically about TEDx or Lando, which I don't want to speak for you, do you want? So I can tell you that a lot of people experience it. Like how did they approach you? How did you get on their radar? So I applied. Okay. And there were over 600 people that applied and then they narrowed it and narrowed it and goodness, they chose me. Forever grateful. It's one of my, you know, one of my goals. It was to do a TED Talks of My Story, go global, so it's a live worldwide. And so, um, but it was a lot of work, a lot of preparation. It was applying. It was, you know, hopefully, you know, hopefully something above made it happen too. I mean, it just, everything combined. So everything lined up. And in after, you know, six and seven years of wanting to do it.

And really look at different events that got chosen for Orlando. So I'm really excited about October 7th. It's very cool. And Nick, you run the whole TEDx Orlando. He said you're getting, you know, 600 applications for a TED Talk. What made this one stick out to you? Or you're like, there's, we're going with the supermanage PV? So, I mean, it's a number of things. A, I mean, you know, Jason, you know, I dedicated he is to his cause. Um, and his, his kind of message resonated massively. Me personally, I had a brush with cancer myself. So there was a personal element there. But just Jason's dedication to his mission and the importance of his message. And just to give you a little hint into just how dedicated he is, you know, TEDx speakers famously stand on a red carpet when they're doing their talks. He has bought the exact carpet that we're going to be using. And I'll rent it on October 17th. And he's practicing in his living room on the red. So that's how, that's how seriously he's taking this. And we, we feel very lucky to have him as one of our 13 speakers. You know what, Jason, I've seen American Ninja Warrior. And some of these people build the whole thing in their backyard.

And like, that's how they get on American Ninja Warrior. I've never, I've never seen this for public speaking. I've never seen training done on this kind of level. But I guess selfishly, Nick, what I want to ask you is like, are you get like, are all of the pitches as well put together as Jason's doing? Or are there just, say, any ones that you're getting along the board, they're doing, I can't even believe you're asking me to do it. Well, 635 applications. Let's just say there's a spectrum. And Jason's very much at one end of the spectrum. And there are plenty at the other end of the spectrum. Red and Cran. Yeah, basically. But it's interesting because Jason came with us with a very, very strong idea of what the whole talk would look like. You got 18 minutes to do a TED or a TEDx talk. We had other people, other speakers that we've selected, who maybe came with a concept. And one of the big things that we try and do is engage all of our speakers in a coaching process. So Jason is a star pupil because he knows what he's doing. Some of the other speakers, it's fascinating work with them to turn that concept into a fully fledged 18 minute TEDx talk.

And Jason is one of 13 speakers on the day. And what we try and do is create this kind of emotional arc to the day so that the audience is going to be sort of flowing along with the sort of the pitches that we've developed. And lots of people watch TEDx or TED talks online. But the feeling in the room with a whole day, that's something unique and quite spectacular. I actually, I know TED as a YouTube channel. Yeah. Yeah. I've watched a ton of them. I actually don't know what is TED. What is the, what is the, what's the philosophy or the thought behind the whole concept? Sure. Well, so TED is the kind of the daddy, if you like, they're the big conference. That's the one in Vancouver. That's the one where, you know, you'd have people like, I know Richard Dawkins who ever doing a TED talk. TEDx, they are independently organized local events. So they're licensed by TED. But they are all unique. They're all designed around their own sort of different

principles, all based around, you know, ideas and forward thinking, that sort of thing. And my husband and I, we ran a TEDx event in London for 10 years before we relocated to Orlando. And now we have the license to run TEDx Orlando. So we have our first event, as I say, October 17th of the convention center. Really excited for Jason's talk. And for all our other speakers. I think it tickets to this event. TEDxolando.live tickets available now. That's awesome. Oh, Ken Miller. Ken Miller, who has a show on real, real laughs, is going to be there as well. Do it a talk. So you got quite the line up here. Ken Posa, he's a familiar Facebook. Ken Miller, his talk is amazing. We had his rehearsal the other day. He's basically talking about the power of laughter. And how laughter can carry you through some of life's more difficult moments. It made me cry. I went, I went, you know, hesitate to admit, brand talk. With all the applications that you guys receive for this, especially on TED Talk Orlando.

It seems like it runs the game. It's like they're, you got some very serious ones. But it also seems like there's other avenues. So it doesn't, so every one of these doesn't have to be a heavy topic. That's, that's right. And, you know, we have the, the serious heart hitting talks like Jason. And then we have someone like Jimmy Waldron who's talking about how awesome dinosaurs are. So, you know, it's a hot, that's what we try and do for the day is create these variety. For our, for our audience. I, I would be fascinated to know like the logistics of it because it's a, it's a long day of public speaking. And be like, you know, I do stand up shows and whatnot. And when I'm putting together a show, like if I'm having other people on it, I have to go, okay, I can't have this person here. Little too similar to this. I don't want this to follow this. Do you, do you go dinosaurs? They're HPV or HPV? They're not. They're rising and fall. Yeah. These are the, the decisions, because I'm the director of curation for the event. So I have to work out where everyone goes in the lineup

who starts, who ends, where the emotional beats are best played. I love that. That's fascinating. So I'm not going to reveal the lineup yet. I'm not going to reveal where Jason is. But we, we've got him worked out pretty well. Okay. Well, if you want to get tickets to this event, you can go to TEDxorlando.live. That's TEDxorlando.live. And Jason, before we get out of here, if you want people to know one thing to take away from your experience that they can help them in their everyday life, what would that be? If you know you're having an issue, whether it's an HPV, you know, bump on the neck issue or any type of issue, the one thing I would tell you is go to the doctor today. Do not delay. Do not wait two years because you're going to have to man up. Just go to the doctor. 100%. Well, regardless of Jason, real quick, before we go, it's superman H, superman HPV.com. That's where you can donate. That's where you can get reached in contact with Jason and also keep up with his schedule of the other charitable events and things that he does throughout the year.
