2:30In 5 on 5 matchups, defensive zone starts, he was one of their top penalty-killing forwards. So, here he has that. I think he's going to get even better on face-offs. He was already close to 50%. So, that will always be the better rock of his game. He's such a hard worker and he's so smart, hockey, IQ-wise, that you don't bet against, you know, is there a jump to 50, 60 point range. I think that's realistic. He's never going to be an 80 point guy, I don't think. But, you know, 35 points is a rookie last year. I do think there's a ceiling there for, you know, a 50, 55, 60 point player a few years down the road. Okay. You look at this Bruins lineup in the Uber competitive Atlantic division. They had 100 points last year. But, you know, Florida's back now. They're healthy. There's Tampa and there's Ottawa and there's Montreal and there's Buffalo and Toronto

3:32thinks that they're improved. Where do you look at the Bruins? What's the biggest question mark heading into training camp? Well, now with Mint and Locked up, the biggest question mark is really, what happens with Pavel Zaka, who goes into camp as their number one center, at least on paper. He was certainly their best center last season. But entering the final year of his deal, set for an unrestricted free agency after the season. Does something get done there before or during camp? The Bruins are on the record as saying they want to extend them. Zaka said he wants to stay in Boston. But as of now, obviously they have not gotten anything done and it feels like there's probably still a bit of a gap there. Whether that's, you know, it's probably not now, but at some point during the season. So I think what happens with Pavel Zaka is sort of the next big question for this team. Okay. Looking at the Bruins and you know, line combinations are always fun. I always think they're overrated like the line who played the most together at five on five. They only had one line play over 400 minutes together. And that was the Zaka middlestad, Arvidson line. And when I look at them this year, obviously Arvidson isn't there. So that's a pretty, you know, pretty big loss.

6:36But Zaka, is he going to like on paper? Is it Zaka between Paturcan, Pastron Act? Do you think that's like their top line? And then is it geeky Lynn Holman middlestad? I think they start with Zaka, Paturcan, Pastron Act. It feels like they might want to load up on the top line this year. After last year, they, there was a lot of different combinations with David Posner. As you mentioned, they kind of had that second line settled. All the enough their top line never really felt settled. At times there was a live slant home centering that. At times it was Fraser Minton. It was even Maradhus Medina at one point. Sometimes it was geeky on the wings. Sometimes it was, you know, someone out, you know, Kuznidinov on the wing. Like, there are all these different combinations. And I think with your best player, you probably want to try to find something a little more settled. And Zaka and Paturcan feels like a pretty good option in that respect. So I think they start that way. And then the second one's really interesting. You know, Elias Lindholm, they, they certainly want him to bounce back.

7:37I think they need it for him to be worth anywhere close to the 7.75 million. He's making so he might get first cracked there. But I do think Fraser Minton, you know, might be breathing down his neck for that second line center job. And then the other interesting thing here is where does James Hagen slot in the promising rookie top 10 pick, you know, is he in the top six to start or is he a third liner or does he even see some time in Providence? So I think that group that middle six is going to be, I think there's going to be a lot of jumbling, probably through camp and even into the early part of the season. Okay. On the back end, if I look at the at the Bruins, you know, you've got Maccaboy and you've got Lindholm and you got Zador off and Mason Lowry, does he, is he more of the top pair guy with Maccaboy? Not, you know, is that the guy that you envision playing mainly with Maccaboy? I think that was the hope at one point, but the last couple of years have, have made it

8:40a little tough to still see him that way. Okay. You know, two, two years ago he was, he was, he really struggled had, you know, not that it's the B.L. Endal, but had the worst plus minus in the entire league. Last year was, was better. It's definitely showed some improvement, but by the end he was a healthy scratch on the playoffs. And I think there were clearly times during the season where he just didn't really seem to fit the way Marker Stern wanted to play. He still doesn't really close quickly enough in the D zone. He doesn't win enough battles down low, especially for a guy his size. And if there's not improvement there, then I don't really see him with Maccaboy. I think, I think they probably want someone a little, you know, someone that Maccaboy doesn't have to lift up as much. Someone who can help lift Maccaboy up, which has kind of been missing for a couple of years now. Yeah. Well, that's kind of my question is that it seems they're kind of missing a guy to play with Maccaboy. Is that fair? Like, that's what they would like to find. Like, I don't think Will Borgon can be that guy.

9:42Like Lynn Home could do it. I just don't know unless we're going to play them 25 or six minutes together, which you could, but you know, that's because I think they thought maybe Zadorov would be that guy, but it didn't seem to be that guy either. Yeah. At times Zadorov has been there, there were times last year where he was a really good partner from Maccaboy. It just wasn't quite consistent enough to really stick long term, but they might go back to that. They might try Hamper's Lindholm. Hamper's Lindholm like Elias Lindholm, they need him to be healthy and to bounce back. You know, he had a serious knee injury two seasons ago. And then last year, I think in November, December, he suffered a fracture. I think like a hairline fracture on his foot and kind of dealt with that the rest of the year. So if they can get a healthy Hamper's Lindholm, that would really go a long way to securing their top four, whether he's with Maccaboy or anchoring the second pair. Okay. And obviously we know who their goal is. There's really no discussion there. What do you think is going to be like what's a what's a fair number of games potentially

10:47for DP etro to play? Like I'm assuming he's the guy coming out of training camp anyway that's going to be their backup. I guess they got a peterra, but there's really no one else in the mind or just yet that I think is going to push for it. So how many games do you think DP etro ultimately will get or maybe more importantly, anything swam and gets as the start? Yeah, I think they probably want to keep swam in in that 55 game range or so. Okay. I don't know that they want to push him up to 60. I think the workload he had last year was really good for him. And so that would put the DP H or if he's the backup all year around 30 games. You know, so I think somewhere right in that 28 to 31 game range is probably what they're hoping for out of him. You know, obviously a lot to prove there. This is a guy only has a few minutes in the NHL over the course of his career, but has done everything they need in the HL. He's been back to back goalie of the year in the HL. There's nothing left for him to prove at that level. So if he can be, you know, league average or so, then they'll probably give him those

If he struggles, then they'll have, you know, they'll have to address that and figure out, hey, can Swam and handle more of a workload or do they look at a Yuri Patera or, you know, another backup option? Would they have any interest in like a Connor Ingram or someone else as a veteran guy just in case DeBetro can't do it? Not at the moment. Maybe if they get into the season and DP H are struggling, but I think they, they really want to give DP H or the shot. They think he's earned it. It's why they traded away Jonas Corpusallo in the off season. So they're definitely going to start with giving DP H or a real shot to run with this job. Awesome. Well, we look forward to this season.
