Good morning. From the Fairbanks Museum in St. John'sbury, this is the eye on the sky, recreational forecast. Looks like a pretty nice day for most of your outdoor plans and the early showers in New Hampshire are ending, and skies have become partly sunny in the north, mostly sunny across southern sections. There could be an isolated shower north late, but not really enough to interfere with outdoor plans. It will be a breezy day and that will certainly be something to take into account. There's not changing much in the north, holding in the upper 60s to mid 70s, but still warming into the 70s to near 80 in the south, the winds may gust up to 40 mph. Tonight, any evening showers will end, it'll clear out so we'll see a sunny but brisk and cool day for tomorrow. Not quite as breezy as today, we'll see plenty of sunshine, temperatures 60s north, upper 60s and low 70s south. For the mountains today, hikers will find the clouds giving way to increasing sun, the clouds still in and out across the presidential range in New Hampshire, gusty northwest winds 25 to 40 mph, gusting over 70 on top of Mount Washington, temperatures falling from the
60s to the 50s at 4,000 feet into the 40s at 6,000 feet. At lower elevations, lake wind advisories for lake Champlain winds increasing from the northwest, gusting 30 to 40 mph, waves on the open waters of Lake Champlain, one to three feet. We'll see theologist Mark Brin with an eye on the sky.
