Psalm 67: Living For Something Bigger

God’s blessing is comforting, but Psalm 67 refuses to let it stay private. We sit with a prayer that starts like the Aaronic Blessing, “May God be merciful and bless us,” and then watch the Psalm push the spotlight outward: may God’s ways be known across the earth, may the nations praise him, may the whole world find joy under his just leadership. It’s a short passage with a big agenda, and it reshapes how we think about gratitude, worship, and everyday purpose.

As we walk through Psalm 67, we talk about why Scripture connects blessing with mission. God’s pattern goes all the way back to Abraham: “I’m going to bless you… and through you, I’m going to bless the world.” That means God’s favor on your life is not just for comfort or success.
