The five-count indictment charges Emir Belat and Ibrahim Khayyumi with providing support for a foreign terror organization and using a weapon of mass destruction. Officials say the men told police they were inspired by ISIS and hoped to carry out an attack more deadly than the blasts at the 2013 Boston Marathon. Khayyumi's move titans in already narrow House Republican majority, but Khayyumi says he will still caucus with Republicans. Khayyumi is facing a tough re-election battle in a democratic leaning district following the redrawing of California's congressional boundaries. The digital safety company, Securely, says students in 1300 schools across the country, are already using AI chat bots in the classroom as MPR is re-to-chatter to key reports. Securely analyzed 1.2 million conversations between students and AI platforms on school issued devices in 39 states. 80 percent of these chats were educationally appropriate, but 20 percent violated safety
