Tonight is the first of the two Republican midterm convention evenings Trump's gonna speak tonight is gonna speak tomorrow nights the JD Vance gonna speak tomorrow night as well as the keynote speaker There is a list of notables that are expected to speak They are Presenting this as if it's about Trump the idea behind this is You know Trump is he's the showman. He's he's the big guy. He's the one that can deliver and when Trump is on the ballot Republicans benefit and so even though Trump's not on the ballot They are wanting to create this atmosphere in which it just feels like he's on the ballot That that that messaging that energy To to take that voter that gets out to vote for Donald Trump that maybe no one else and and essentially get them in the mindset that hey Trump

Trump's policies are on the ballot Trump's party is on the ballot and and the Democrats if they get in charge They're going to try to undo what Trump has done. They're gonna go after Trump. It's just gonna be What the voters rejected once upon a time before where instead of the focus being on benefiting the American people The focus is going to be on getting Donald Trump because they've tried everything they've tried impeachment They've tried throwing him in prison. They've tried assassinating him. They've really tried just about everything and and so You know they will do any and all of that again that they can and so we've got to to get out there for Trump How How they present that exactly is is going to be interesting and how it's accepted by people. I don't know and I don't mean this this isn't a a knock I don't know that even Trump supporters right now are looking for a Trump rally

part of the reason That Trump has I Been able to inspire people the way that no other elected official has or Or candidate ever has at least in modern history Isn't just because he's Trump, but it is because a massive segment of the population See him saw him as someone who's going to be able to do things that Others were incapable of doing unwilling to do and these are things that are to the benefit of the American people And so they liked that this is what Altered the course of of the or the trajectory of a lot of these democrat or demographics that traditionally voted Democrat and and particularly the workers blue collar workers going over to Trump because

This was a guy was just going to do things differently I don't know at this point Not because of of Trump per se but because of the you know going into the last two years of the administration and the Unwillingness by Republicans to do anything bold that he needs to get done or that he's wanted to get done that people See Trump and feel like he is going to be able to and then in the next two years accomplish these these amazing things that no one else has been able to accomplish and And that's part of what the excitement was it wasn't just his attitude It was the belief that that attitude was going to translate to Fantastic things that we never thought would happen and and he delivered on so many of those things There's so many conversations That that I have had with people and you may have had as well and some of which have been forgotten not just from this

administration but the previous Term that he served in which people are saying I just can't believe he's doing it When When he first got elected in the first term talking to some local business owners Business owners that I wasn't even aware of their political affiliation and they were just gobsmacked At the things that Trump was doing in terms of taxes that was going to benefit them as small businesses like and You may recall I recall we were even laughing about at one point every day was a press release from Some business even here locally about all the all the new hiring they were going to be able to do the bonuses That they were giving employees because of the Trump tax cuts these things that that You know people recognize is something that no Republican president whatever doing a meaningful way certainly no Democrat president would do Um, and it was just you know that boldness

Yes Particularly for Republicans as voters that had long been lulled into this Acceptance of well you can't really expect to do anything meaningful Republicans always telling them to tamper their expectations the same messaging that's coming out of people like John Thune as the Republican leader of the Senate telling us explaining to us why He can't get done things that 80% of Americans support like requiring ID in order to vote And then you know with this term the border the The double-edged sword is that he fixed the border so quickly and so effectively people forget what it was like They forget that it was fixed they they they almost Forget that it was that big of a deal because it was so quick and easy for him to fix but it was because he's bold And it for I think for a lot of Americans it wasn't just the boldness of ideas

It was the willingness to do the things that we're going to make big differences And I don't know that that expectation exist even amongst Trump supporters at this point and again not necessarily because of Trump And you could break it down who's responsible for it. I believe economically Congress at this point is the only entity that can really make any true bold differences in terms of the direction of our country when it comes to spending and so forth They have no interest in doing that And that gives me I guess it pause Just you know wondering are people at this point In The place that they were that Created that sort of excitement the combination of Trump's attitude and what

Was available for him to do and I mean I I think it's fair to say if you were to ask even the most ardent Trump supporters It you know if Republicans keep in control What is it you see Trump doing in the next two years? I don't know that there would be an answer And so it's for that reason. I don't know that there's necessarily a lot of excitement about this midterm convention even if it is made all about Trump We'll see I think ultimately internal tests for a lot of people who are Trump supporters and maybe don't necessarily like to hear that because of the waning days of Trump's influence and so forth Are you excited about this? I mean I'll be honest. I'm not I'm not necessarily really Think and I'm gonna be inspired by this, but we'll see I'll say this Trump manages to take events that traditionally one would think this is just gonna be boring and uninspiring because they always are and he is a showman

There's no doubt about it At some point people though want Not just showmanship, but results and I I guess Ultimately My observation is in the last two years. I don't know that there is a great deal of expectation for any of the Trump style results That we have become accustomed to first time Republicans have done this That the lack of real excitement that could Be generated by this or the you know lack of excitement that of course they're hoping for the To really get people excited and pumped that that necessarily is going to translate to losses in November The upside if there is one for Republicans as as unpopular we keep hearing about Trump's unpopularity Which is this all of this is such a weird mixed bag of things because you know it Trump is Not right now with the average American the most popular and in fact Republicans popularity is in some ways a little

Healthier than Trump's popularity the the Republican party and And so they're doing this convention instead trying to make it the face of Trump instead of the face of the GOP and So it all it all just becomes very confusing and twisted mess But all that being said what isn't getting a lot of attention is the fact that as unpopular Quote unpopular as Trump may be and the GOP may be Democrats are even less popular so and and they have peaked on the timeline of polling That traditionally over the past several election cycles for a couple of decades have shown that Democrats pull About six percentage points ahead of the actual results on election day that they they peek in the summertime And once summer is over which were out of summer were back in school the the that

That peak that is higher than the actual results begins to slowly come down and so if those historical trends Foddle the same path that they always have Then that's great news for Republicans because the the Democrats have peaked and they're on their way down It in terms of you know, they're actual popularity I've never been one that likes the idea of Of well the lesser of two evils I oftentimes feel as if People who say that they don't really follow what's going on They just don't like politics and so they don't bother to even know who's good who's bad They they just dismiss the whole concept of lesser of two evils, but I think in informed people You can be making that argument right now the one other aspect of it. I suppose it does concern me Well, it could go one of two ways

the most Infozeastic Segment of the population right now appears to be the pro-violent socialist wing of the Democrat Party I I mean they are they show up at events they I mean when you are passionate enough to Encourage acts of violence against your political opposition You're you're pretty enthusiastic. It's not a good enthusiasm. It's an authoritarian enthusiasm But nonetheless that is the segment that appears to be the most enthusiastic right now that being said Going into the general election Democrats do what Democrats have to do and that is start moderating themselves which in turn Risks alienating that enthusiastic wing of the party Outside of

the Areas of the country in which their Democrats socialist candidates have unceded a Democrat but those are solid blues anyhow So those aren't pickups and that was all by design. This is what David Hogg said A year or so ago That made him So unpopular within the Democrat establishment. He said what what we need to do the the the the the the the the the socialist need to start Instead of trying to unseat Republicans unseat Democrats in safe blue seats. That's how we're gonna take over the party And he was reamed by this he was kicked out of his DNC position because of it whatever his position was at the time and and what he talked about is what has been happening The downside for the Democrats is that those aren't seats that are going to be turned over Though those aren't seats that are going to help them gain They're not red seats or purple seats. Those are the deep blue seats

That are populated with a significant portion of the pro violence left and so it's that's not really gonna move the needle in terms of Getting control back of Congress. It could work against them Because in some of those more purple areas in the areas that are toss-ups or maybe they can currently have the seat But are in danger of losing it You know those people may be turned off by the Democrat party as a whole because of those socialists that are making national headlines There's this is this real contradiction that is occurring within the Democrat party right now and Unfortunately for them. It's good for the Republicans The most enthusiastic demographic appears to be enthusiastic is a demographic that really it it It isn't going to may increase voter turnout in areas in which Democrats are already going to win anyhow But it could actually suppress it for Democrat voters in areas that they really need them to turn out

I wanted to share with you a story in the New York post about two Iranian twin sisters That had been part of the protest against the Islamic regime and There's like what it is that they are dealing with because of that And part of the reason that I wanted to share this with you is there was a a reaction that I noticed from a lot of people Some of them may have been on the left. I don't even know when You know before the regime really cracked down on the internet and so there were some videos of protesters that were out there in the streets and and and sometimes the protest Was just in the form of girls walking around not being covered up that that was the protest And You had a lot of Iranians that were posting their videos

Online before again the regime cracked down on the internet and so people were seeing Young people particularly young gals that were wearing t-shirts that were wearing pants they weren't wearing You know from head to toe coverings and I noticed a lot of people reacting to this saying wait a minute We've been lied to about what's going on over there. This doesn't look like a oppressed people We've been told that that women are still subservient and and that they aren't seen as human I mean, it's really like a college campus these girls are are walking around in the streets and everything We've been lied to about what's going on in Iran And I think for a lot of people and I get that you know some of these things were just even in news stories about the crackdown And there would be visuals of young Iranians that were dressed as one would consider to be completely normal by western standards at least

I mean not the clothing itself oftentimes, but um, you know Not wearing what we think of in terms of an oppressed people particularly oppressed women having to wear And so you see that without any reference in the story To oh by the way this is a form of protest that that's why they are dressed this way This is showing defiance to the Islamic regime and it left people Confused and thinking well things aren't that bad there The New York Post has a story Regarding two Iranian twin sisters That were brutally tortured for four months for being part of the protest With one of them sentenced to death after she was forced to confess to save her sister from being raped But this is the government of Iran doing this

All of you it's crazy you have these people on the left defending the Iranian regime Yet they claim that if somebody in law enforcement gets hit by a car and they defend themselves with force That that is some human rights violation But that mean while yeah go deal with law enforcement in Iran Where they they will force a confession out of someone under you know if you don't do it then we're going to rape your sister Taran and Romina Rahimi 20 years old Still in high school when they joined millions in the January anti-regime protest They suffered beatings they had their feet broken their hair ripped out not cut ripped out of their skull Skull by Iranian authorities The twins were so brutally tortured They were unrecognized by their own mother marzia norma hahamid uh norma

Hahamidi who's 43 during a visit five months ago with the family only learning recently The terena would be put to death after confessing to taking part in the protest Incidentally those of you on the left that claim that trump is some sort of fascist that that trump is a dictator that trump is an authoritarian No, this is what that looks like If trump were the things that you people on the left that stand on the side of the road in front of the VA protesting with your poorly made signs it if he was what you say he is then you would You would be have living the life of these twins And and countless others in Iran You would be hauled off to prison you'd have family members raped in order to coerce you into a confession You would have your hair ripped out of your skull You wouldn't be allowed To in your leisurely time

Go out and protest the way that you do It's also one of the reasons that people on the left in my opinion are so Disgustingly privileged and entitled and unappreciative of it that they compare through their rhetoric What they go through to what girls like this go through in Iran They portray their situation under some oppressive regime under the king Donald Trump and how horrible it is You Remina The other sister meanwhile was sentenced to 25 years in prison their cousin Mesud who lives here in the United States Accused the state of trying to use terena as an example to instill fear as the regime crack down on descent and abuses the death penalty on Political prisoners quote you can see her eyes and you know right away. She's a kind person

My sense is like they're looking to put fear within the people to say look no matter how nice you are no matter how innocent you are We will get you don't come to the streets anymore The twins are among 16 people tried specifically in is fahan in connection to the protest held in that city where two people died in the unrest The defendants were accused of making maltaw cocktails and attacking Iranian security forces But no murder charges were brought forth instead many of the defendants were charged with waging war against god a capital offense in the country The cousin told rfe the lawyer said there's nothing in the case against these kids No evidence has even been presented because there is no evidence Mesud who is a health care IT specialist here in the u.s. slammed these sham trial that his cousins received in the horrific conditions Their mother found them in quote she did not recognize her own children They were beaten up badly swollen faces bruises all over their body broken elbows

Knuckles feet they basically had no hair because they would pull their hair and drag them from one cell to another She found out that they had been in solitary confinement the family has filed complaints over the sisters torture and threat of sexual abuse But the complaints have not progressed in the courts The sister's attorney are also preparing an appeal which has been shot down before for other defendants in their in the case noting that they the Iranian government doesn't follow their own law There is an 18-day period that lawyers can go and appeal but in a lot of execution cases recently that has not been allowed to happen They just sentence and then take the kids and execute them and hang them. He said This story of the New York Post about these two Iranian twins these two girls 20 years old and they were a part of the The massive number of folks out there protesting back earlier in the year and for that they were arrested and one of them

Well, they were both beaten tortured so badly their own mother didn't recognize them and this isn't by You know just random Iranian men who did not Care for them showing their hair. These are the official government officials and then they forced one to confess to Offenses against God which is the death penalty or Have her sister raped This is pretty standard practice for protesters particularly women in Iran You know we hear the stories about how tens of thousands of them were mowed it down by by gunfire and killed instantly and they may actually have As horrific as all of it is got now relatively easy compared to what some of these prisoners have gotten But this is the real shame on the left in this country. It isn't so much that the left

Defends this And they may they may not say that they defended but they defend the regime You know and you may not see it around here so much But it isn't just about our involvement. I mean it's leave Iran alone You have people that that in many of these blue cities that protest on behalf of the Iranian regime. They're taking aside They're supporting that But when people on the left in this country claim that we live in a dictatorship claim that they're afraid that they they are so worried They're so fearful for their lives and their safety because of Donald Trump You have some of these people that fled the country the rosy-o-donalds go. It's just so dangerous here. I mean shame on you I just don't know how is a human being You can play victim of a brutal regime

Here in the United States when this stuff is actually going on to real human beings in the world To me it would be like You're in the presence of somebody who is hospitalized with severe burns over 90% of their body and you sit around complaining about a sunburn I mean there's there's no shame no humanity no empathy I don't know how any person and it doesn't mean you have to love Trump But I'm talking about these people on the left that That just portray themselves as these victims Uh, I think they are just really suffering when this stuff is going on in the world when human beings when young men and young women Are beaten and raped by government because they dared not cover their hair They dared stand up for equality

And the inhumane audacity of the left in this country to to cry and whine about how awful it is and how horrible it is here In the context of you know Donald Trump being a dick. It's just pathetic And it demonstrates a complete lack of any sort of humanity Here's just a bit of a bizarre story out of Missouri. I thought I'd share with you. This is Lincoln County a 70-year-old Missouri woman It's not just a bizarre, but it's sick and it's She was a foster mother She shipped a teenage girl in her care across state lines in a scheme witnesses said Was tied to a monkey And will spend exactly zero days in a Missouri prison for the felony that she admitted to Brenda Deutsch 71 of windfield

pleaded guilty to first degree Endangering the welfare of a child which is a classity felony after an adopted teenage girl in her care was shipped off to a filthy Texas resident that Deutsch had allegedly never even inspected This according to Fox two now Last Thursday Lincoln County judge Thomas Frawley sentenced Deutsch to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections but then suspended The execution of that sentence and placed her on three years of supervised probation in other words She will remain out of prison unless she violates the terms of her probation The probation requires her to have no contact with the victim undergo mental health treatment complete a cognitive behavioral intervention program She reportedly spent 99 days in jail before her bond was reduced according to arguments contained in her sentencing memo She will serve no additional incarceration under the sentence unless her probation is is revoked And so apparently what this all was about was trading

The child in her care for a monkey someone in Texas in a a a a filthy home had a monkey And offered to trade it for a girl which I suspect probably not for the best reasons and The the fact that you know I think about this from the girl's standpoint. This is a girl in foster care which means she probably Already lack stability. There's a very good chance. She feels as if she is Nothing in the world and that people are bad and here a person that had you know Was entrusted in order to care for her trades are off to somebody that probably was going to use her for purposes that were illegal for a monkey And then what is our justice system do You

Slap on the wrist if you even want to call it that What does that say to the victim? But what what reflection of that young girl's worth and value does that show that the Missouri court system Recognizes not too much unfortunately
