I didn't realize Chicago at the number one penalty killing Agile. I knew that Murphy is a good penalty killer, but I didn't realize that. You know what, look, like he's a good fit for what you guys need.

2:05You get him at what? 2.2 million. That's a good number. The thing about him is his teammates really like him. So, you know, you always wonder, how will a guy adjust in the middle of the season? And he's got the personality for it. He waved to go to Edmonton. That's always a good sign. That tells you that, you know, there's a guy who is happy to go there. He's a fit for what you want. He's not a spectacular guy, but he's long. He's a solid player. He can pass it. He stands up for his teammates. I think he makes your blue line better. But, you know, there's a lot of things I like about him. I mean, like I said, he's not, you know, he's not, you know, Zach Orinsky. But, A, who is an end? You know, you know, at this time of year with your cap situation, there's only so many things you can do. So, I think it's a really good fit.

3:05You know, I think you guys looked at fall. I don't think the money could work. I think you guys looked at Ekman Larson. I don't think the others ever presented him with something or the Maple Leafs was something that they actually went to him and said, will you wave? So, you know, Murphy was part of that group. And, you know, I think it's a really good fit for what you guys are looking for. And now we'll see if you can pull off the center. Yeah, we're joined by Elliott Friedman, frame source. Well, we're gonna discuss what's bigger. What, here's what I see, Elliott. I think that the orders will find a home for Andrew Majibani. Hasn't worked out yet. He's been a good guy. You know, played a shift today. Got pulled out of the game down in Baker's field. You know, the orders are gonna have to attach a sweetener. And usually the way these things get done is, is maybe you get back a prospect back, the alike, or conversely, it's somebody else's, you know, a guy that's got another year left in term as well, maybe not as much money as Majibani and you get a pickback. So there's a couple different, like that's kind of how these things go. So I do think that there's, there could be some kindling going on right now on the Majibani front.

5:05So I do think something could be possible there over the next 24 hours. And then that will facilitate. Cap space to get the game. To see now, you know, and I want to, I've already alluded to this. Somebody yesterday, listen, listen to the show claimed. That I said that the orders were getting Nicola why I never said that. I said, I've always liked Nicola law. And for all, everybody, everybody respects your knowledge. I think we basically think they're the assistant GM. So you say something that has power. I like what I'm not sure where the pro scouts are at with law. And I'm also, and you know, and I, I targeted law three months ago, just wondering if Toronto is going to get, because I was watching Toronto's inability to transition the back. And by the way, I'll say this on Murphy for the purposes of Edmonton. To me, Murphy made more sense in Edmontolars and a left shot that could play the right side.

6:05Or a fault. And I believe St. Louis is going to be making some moves here. And I think so too. It's pretty clear to me that they're going to be a team to watch it. Yeah, I think this is not Army kick and tires. No, not some, it would not surprise me. People were saying like he does this every year. He does this every year. It's real now. This is. Yeah, this has happened. Yeah. And I, it would not surprise me if. Some of the key players in that or team have been told, hey, there's, there's changes coming. So brace for you. So you said something there is something bigger. I, you know, I don't know how big a, a third line center or a middle six forward edition would be. To me, that's not substantial. Like trying to get in a grand end last year. Toronto Edmonton, ultimately, Dallas, Scott, by the way, what's going on with Jason Robertson? What's going on?

7:05Look, as far as I'm under the impression, the Dallas stars are going to try to sign on this summer. I like, they have been consistent about that. That they're going to try to sign him this summer. And. I just think that. Until somebody tells me that's not happening, that's what I've been under the impression of. Yeah. Yeah, I, like, I just don't, I don't think a deal that made can be made, to be honest with you. I just. Well, this is like. This summer year is crazy. Right. And, you know, someone said to me, there's people talking out there like the oil, it can make a bigger deal. I'm trying to think okay. It's not impossible. I always, in my, my confirmation bias right now tells me. That you're going to move, manage upon you and get a center, right?

8:05But I always. Not in a direct, not in a direct manner. Whatever the case is. They'll trade. It's going to be. If one, then two, like whatever the case is. So then, so I always, I always, I've got that in my head. That's what you guys are going to do. And then when I hear people start talking about the oil, can they always do something bigger? I'm like, what on earth could that be? I try not to let my own. Confirmation bias affect the way I think. Yeah, I, I mean, I do think St. Louis, like, here's the thing I could see. You know, everybody's got Buffalo. And on. Yes. I think Buffalo is in on Thomas. I think Utah is in on Thomas. I think Detroit is in on Thomas. And we'll see who else gets in there. The, the Montreal thing. Like they absolutely could do it. Like there's no doubt in my mind that absolutely could do it.

9:05I just got the sense it was unlikely to be them. And we'll see. But the thing is like, I hate making proclamations at this time of year. Because things are. Because things change so quickly. And also people really tried to hide. They're true intentions. And this is the year you need an extra strong, strong shovel. Because there's a lot of BS out there. Yeah. Well, I, what I would say is if it is Montreal, if they can get it on Thomas, I could foresee a scenario one of, you know, of course, I've got line A's been hurt all year. I could also see one a new hook or dock going out. And again, maybe not in the same trade. Like you, you're just going to have to find a way to offload some money. But Montreal's got a lot of prospects and a lot of picks. And yeah, this is, you know. So that's that's start moving around here.

10:07Let's start with Toronto. Yeah. Like what are we talking here? Basically everybody on the roster with the exception of, you know, Matthew's Neelander and Matthew Nice. I think it's just like give us an idea and we'll think about it. Like I think there's a bunch of teams like that. I think Vancouver's like that. I think Toronto's like that. I think Calgary's like that. And, you know, obviously, look, I don't think they're, I don't think they're trying Neelander right now. And despite all the noise around Matthews, I don't think they're treating him right now. What they'll listen on just about anybody else. And, you know, I mean, the real challenge this year for the rentals is, you know, I've talked about it. There's a ton of teams in the playoffs this year. Don't have a first rounder. And, you know, I think Toronto, which has traded a couple of first rounders, would love to get a first rounder back, right? And it's going to be hard to do.

11:08So, but Toronto is definitely listening on a lot. Make them, make them an offer and they'll, or call them with an idea and they'll listen. I think on the centers, I think Thomas and Trocheck are holding up the centers a little bit. And once those ones get sorted out, I wonder if things open up. By the way, I don't know. What do you think about the guy like Cole Smith? I heard there's been he's not so much a center. He plays right wing. But I've heard a few teams have picked the tires on him. Well, I was going to ask you about a Riley. I mean, does Nashville play a big game tonight? Like they're playing their, they're playing Columbus tonight. Like that's a big game. Yeah. I mean, you wouldn't think about it. Columbus, Nashville. It's a big game tonight.

12:09Very big guy. If you looked at, if you looked at Cole Smith, he's, he's a total under the radar guy. Yeah. He's pretty good player. I've heard, I've heard like, like I was talking to some people today and I was like, give me the name of a guy who, like nobody's talking about who there's calls on. I was like, that's not the name I was expecting. But, you know, he's got the kind of guys not making a ton of money. He's a USA and he's a solid player. Yeah, he's a, he's certainly, I mean, he's a fourth line guy, but he's got some guys. I felt all along like, you know, Elliott three months ago, I would have said that we're looking at a, a middle six part forward, preferably a right shot center, but somebody with a little bit of size. Then it became apparent when the orders were leaking goals against the way they were that they, they needed somebody to help shut down the D a bit. And now they got to get super creative on the Magiapani front.

13:10But I, I do have confidence that this group, you know, there was a guy that wanted to see the orders trade up in the 21 draft to get Kosa didn't happen. And then passed on wall stat and gave Minnesota the pick. And then the orders drafted Xavier Borgo. And, and I mean, look, you're well aware of who the agent is. At the end of the day for both Kosa and wall stats, Jerry Johansson right here in Edmonton. And I just kind of, I thought I got to tell you at that point, I kind of threw my hands up in the air like, this is a team that's needed a goalie. Someone say they still need a goalie. And, you know, it's just interesting. I'll tell you this, like, I think there's a chance for anything goes here. Yeah. Like I, and, and, and I don't know that it's going to be them. But I heard it. Well, you know what? I'll tell you this one. One team, I think, could be looking for a goalie is Vegas.

14:12Yeah. Now, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know if that's going to be, if that's going to be Bennington. But I think. And I saw Jeremy Rutherford reported today that that's likely a summer deal. But I'm just sort of picked up around him. Yeah. I, like, again, I, I think in Edmonton's case, we're looking at true two trades because you're going to have to divest yourself. At this stage of my japani, who, by the way, controls where he goes. Yeah, sometimes maybe it's, but you got to think at this point in time, he's like, just let me play. Yeah. Are you, are you, by the way, Van Cooper? Yeah. Are you seeing some of the stuff that's getting by the players out of Vancouver right now? I mean, it's. It's tough, like losing sucks, Bob. But the thing is, like, I was at the game in Toronto last night against really. I was a good boy. I came home after. I watched the back half of that Van Cooper game.

15:12And it was awful. Like, like, Dallas just dominated them. Yeah. And you know, it's going to happen. You're going to have bad nights. You're going to have a bad night. If you want to get treated, you have to put on a better show than that. Like nobody's going to play. No player is going to play into good games. It's just not possible. But now if you're trying to get out of there, you can't play like that. Yeah. It's, it's quite staggering. By the way, I, and I think they're making calls like I think they would. Love to unload some bodies. I know Calgary's got some depth on the right side. They've got weager. They got like white cloud who frankly I've always liked. I think they should keep them. Well, the thing is like white, they met with white cloud during the Olympic break and they said, what do you want to do? He said, yeah, I'm fine. So that doesn't mean he's not going to get treated. But it means that they're not like,

16:13if you give them like a huge package, they'll do it, but they're not rushing to deal him. I mean, the priority number one right now are probably, it's probably Calgary. Maybe Coleman. I don't know if they're in so much of a rush to do weager. But like, you know, Calgary and I think that's probably the guy. Him and Coleman are probably the guy they're looking to do. If they can do it. But I do think this whole troll check promise thing. And potentially O'Reilly, who said he doesn't want to move. I think it's just slowed down the slowed things down for Calgary. Yeah, well, I know again, like what happens if Nashville loses their next couple of games? Does O'Reilly's attitude change new owners? New owners, you know, I think it's going to be hard. Or by, you never know. But that's the new owners thing I think is very real.
