I just going to throw this out there for people that, when do we want players to step up and perform at the highest level playoffs? Evan Bouchard is the third highest scoring

He also got smoked at the world championship. And for those, do you think it changed this year, Aiden? Like the start of the year was so rough for Bouchard out of the gate. And at the end of the year, he ended up winning the, he finished with 95 points and Canada did not win the gold medal. I can tell you right, I talked to Stan Bowman a lot about this. It wasn't that they needed Bouchard as another power play option. It was the transition game, right? Yeah, right. Yeah. Like they had Peraco and they had Daudi. And they both found their way to the Super Bowl and some retribution and vindication for 11-year-old me that was balling my eyes out the night that Russell Wilson threw that pick and Malcolm Butler grabbed it. That was a tough night. I bet it was a pretty good one for you. I'm not laughing at 11-year-old Aiden again. I'm just, you know, I can imagine how tough that was, of course. I understand. I mean, David Tyree. I don't want to talk about it. Like, when your main curse caught that pass. Yeah. I'm like, it's going to happen again. It's going to happen again. Then it's going to happen again. So, but, you know, I always like to relay this story

15:51when I'm watching the Super Bowl in February and the patriots did awful. Although, not defencily, they were, they were all right for a while, but offensively couldn't do anything. I said, I didn't think it was possible for me to sink lower into my easy, but it felt like I was like getting swallowed up by my easy chair because it felt like I was, you know, that's how difficult it was to watch. I'm like, I'm shrinking into existence here. Yeah, but, you know what? Honestly, the entire time until that final, no, it was the pick by Nuo Su. Oceana Nuo Su got that pick until that moment, the entire time I had a big group of buddies over none of them were Seahawks fans and they were, none of them were NFL fans, but they were just rooting for the patriots. Some friends have got hay. They were, they were rooting for the patriots just because they were doing it solely because I like the Seahawks, but to get back to it, I mean, yeah, until that pick from Nuo Su, I thought that the Seahawks were going to lose that game just based on the way that playoffs go. And I know the experience from the patriots. I thought that something was going to go wrong there.

16:54That's your main curse catch in 2014 had the Seahawks given the ball to Marshawn Lynch like everyone wanted him to and he runs it into the end zone. Is that potentially one of the greatest catches in Super Bowl history? Absolutely. Absolutely. Because it was, it was, it was just incredible, but it didn't happen so ha ha. There's a big what if factor there because, you know, the Legion of Boom, the Seattle defense, they kind of fell apart after that game just because of what was said in the locker room and the respect that was lost for Pete Carroll after that play call and some things like that. So it could have changed the look of the NFL, but honestly at this point, wouldn't have it any other way, man. Well, we've worked out for you. Yeah. I'm excited for you. 17:56Stampators. And I've been talking about it on sports all day today, just mentioning how Calgary has had the Elks number over the last 20 years or so. I think the record is 16 for for the stamps. And you know, that's the Ray Riley Ford Cornelius Harris era, all combined into one. The Elks haven't won it since 2024. I mean, I just want to get your take because this is an iteration of the Elks that we haven't seen in a very long time. No, a really good team, tough defense, very good offense led by Cody Fajrato's having a career year. You know, special teams are coming off through two best performances as a unit of the season. And you know, the Stampators, I'll say this, like they're five and six and they have this combustible element with their offense because you never know when they're going to go off and verdict Adams, who I think will play on Monday, has this ability to get the ball down field. And they got a good running back in Edric Mills, just like the the Elks have a good running back in Justin Rankin, but their offense can

19:00go off and they can score a bunch of points in a quick amount of time. But you know, they have to keep up with the Elks. They have to and it's telling the Elks run away with any games here. But I think when I say keep up, it's that mentality that it doesn't matter what point in the game. It is and how much we're ahead or how much we're down and probably I probably it's a team that cozy's up to adversity, maybe a little too much, but at the same time, I think they're learning how to win. And when you're six and one when games are decided in the final three minutes, you're you learn how to play uncomfortable games and how to get through them. So you look at the last to win a big blue bombers two weeks ago, two weeks ago tonight. They were up 16 nothing and they lost that game by three. So the Calgary Stampators are going to see a team that's very, very mentally tough. And at the same time though, it's a rivalry game. It's a hype game. If the Stampators lose, oh boy, they're going to be sliding that mountain even further and there would be eight points

20:03back of the Elks. So and the Elks would like to put in there. So it would be very interesting. Yeah, not only that, the Elks would put themselves at nine wins on the season for the first time since 2018 when they finished nine and nine. And that was obviously a down year for the team that season, you know, but a really, really key opportunity here for the green and gold. I mean, they know what they're heading into with the Labor Day Classic. I just want to get your take. How is the team embracing that? Because you know, these guys come from all over. They come from other parts of Canada, the United States. So they don't really, you know, exactly fully understand how deep this rivalry goes. But they definitely see some stakes here. Yeah. And I think the coaching staff, led by Mark Killam, has just the messaging and the focus has been this is one game that we want to win. We're this the one in O mentality. We want to win this game and leave and then prepare for the next game. So there's no question that I'm sure the players that are unfamiliar with the rivalry have been told about it. You're not going to fool them on Monday when that hype starts

You know, they see the stampaters in the in the traditional black on on Labor Day. They'll know what they're in for for sure. But Mark Killam has has said this. It's not about hatred or hype. It's about winning one game. So I think that's been the messaging. Everyone has said it to me this week that I've talked to the handful of players I've talked to. And that's a good sign that that means the messaging is getting through to the players and that they are aligned. So that's good. Joe Robustelli expected to come back to the lineup coming off that injury. He hasn't played for the elx yet. But you know, we want to you want a great cop with Saskatchewan last year. I mean, just giving a quick quick little rip on him and how good he's been looking. Yeah, got through nagging hamstring injuries. I plagued him in camp and then just before he was about to come back in a home game on July 17th against the Lions got hurt in the day two.
