My Top 55 Wide Receivers Rankings for Week 1

0:00If you have a fantasy football lineup that you have questions about, you are in the perfect place because today we are ranking my top 50 wider sievers for week one fantasy football finally football is back. Let's not waste any of your time. We'll reveal my first five wider sievers who are obvious starts from you in all situations, but some people might be shocked to see that I have crystal of it all the way up as my wider see for five. I have my projections on here as well for half PPR. These are courtesy of the fantasy blueprint if you want to check it out, but Jammar chase my number one wider siever overall pretty clear is they I should call out as well as we're looking at this. I remove the players who were playing on Wednesday night and Thursday night football because by the time this video releases on Friday morning and you're seeing it, well, there's no point for those guys to be in. So these are your obvious top five wider sievers since Pukiniko and JSN have already played. So for me, Chris Alave does come in as somebody who's going to look really good. I mean, he's going to project out if we pull up the depth chart right now for the Saints. Who is he competing with week one? Oh, you're telling me he's competing with Devon Velle. Devon Velle, who's been like he came out as an older rookie with the Broncos, he's done nothing in the league. There's a point where he thought about transitioning to the tight end position. He's not all that explosive. And then it's just rookies, Bryce Lance, Barion Brown, and a tight end former wider see for John Johnson, who's rather limited as well in between the 20s in the red zone Johnson becomes a little bit more

1:08alive. Chris Alave just like last year when I had him in the floccally, he's probably going to go out there and see eight to 10 plus targets. And that's somebody who in week one is going to look very good at any projection or ranking system, including mine next up, we're going to take a look at my wider see verse six through 10 in this order. It is Drake London, Z flowers, Nico Collins, George Pickens and T Higgins here. I would say compared to the market right now, I'm definitely higher way higher on Z flowers. I'll also point out that Drake London right now is six for me when we factor out Pukinuku and JSN already playing. That's around what the market hasn't, but I will also say as I'm very skeptical of Drake London all season. And we just had him in a trade away video. I'm skeptical with this quarterback situation. They didn't name a starting quarterback into until Monday of week one, they waited to the last possible minute because they were like, who the heck do we choose? That's not a good situation for Drake London. Now what you're seeing on the screen is the team totals and Vegas spreads for this week. The reason why that's important is because as of right now, you could see the Ravens are tied for the fifth highest team total at 25 and a half points. It should be a close game against the Colts, three and a half points spread in a good matchup. And Z flowers in my opinion has no target competition. So you're getting a healthy Lamar Jackson or brand new

2:12Declan Doyle, that offense coming out week one where they've been saying all off season Z flowers is going to be like the guy in this passing tack. There's really nobody else. I know some people want to make Jacobi Lane the rookie thing because he's a good contested catch guy on clips and training camp. Okay. But if you're actually an adult, you know that Jacobi Lane is the fourth option in this Ravens passing attack behind veteran Rashad Bayman, obviously behind Z flowers, who they just paid a bag this off season. And even behind Mark Andrews, who I think takes a step forward this year. Now another year removed from the car accident. He had had heading into the 2024 season that apparently messed with him that entire season based on his reports after the year and no more as a likely and reports that he's going to be massively involved in the red zone. So like, yeah, it's Z flowers all day long in a very beneficial matchup. That is why Z flowers for me comes in as a top 10 wide receiver. My number seven wide receiver. Nico George pickens George pickens in a good offense where they should have put up points with a high team total against the Giants and T Higgins. Same exact thing you could say for George pickens high team total good offense. Those ones are pretty, you know, cut and dry. Those are my top 10. Let's just keep going now into some actual lineup decisions. I wide receivers 11 through 15 or the Vantus Smith, Rashi Rice, Lad McConkey, Tetsuro Mcmillan and Garrett Wilson. I'm right in line with the Vantus Smith. I think he plays very well this week against the

3:18commanders when he's now the wide receiver one. Everybody else here though. My wide receivers 12 through 15, Rashi Rice, Lad McConkey, Tetsuro, Mcmillan, and Garrett Wilson. I'm actually ahead of market on this week. I'm expecting thing big things from Rashi Rice right away. If we pull up the Kansas City Chiefs Dept chart right now, I mean, what are we really concerned with for Rashi Rice? Tic on Thorin who dealt with injuries in camp. They resigned him on a one year deal Xavier Werley who hasn't done much in the NFL, although, you know, all be it to him, he was a rookie year one and in year two, he gets hurt on like the third play of the game. So there is that. And then Travis Kelsey's now 37 years old. So I think Rashi Rice, even though the training camp clips look bad and he was rehabbing his knee and jail this off season and everything optically looks bad. There's a reason they didn't try and go sign one of the other veteran receivers. They think they have enough in rice right now. Lad McConkey, I've been calling him a bilo everywhere. You possibly can right now. I hope you got him in the fourth round. I think this offense is going to be absolutely dynamite. And when you look at the charges offense, they're projected for the most points on the week 28 and a half. They're nine and a half point favorites against a bad Cardinals defense, bad Cardinals secondary. The chargers are going to put up points. They are the only team projected for more than four touchdowns this week when you factor in the extra points. That is impressive from a Mike McDaniel offense. Vegas thinks they're going to be doing good this week. I think they're going to be doing good.

4:22I think a big piece of that. It's an overall town that all fans hand in should get involved. Quentin Johnson, maybe Trey Harris, but I think lad McConkey's going to start the year off of the bang. I'm going to project that he's going to see eight or more targets. And this is where I start to take some real stances compared to the market and everybody else is rankings. My wide receiver 16 Christian Watson 17 J L model 18 J Mason Williams 19 Meka Buka and 20 Luther Burton. We got to start right off the bat with Christian Watson. Christian Watson for me. I'm much higher than the market. He's currently ranked as the wide receiver 25 on the week. He's easily a top 20 guy for me. Even if we put Puka Nekua and Jackson Smith and Jigba and the other 49ers receivers are whoever in this ranking sheet, he would be a top 20 receiver for me because that's exactly what he

6:37easily was towards the end of last year. I'm going to pull up the team changes picture because that's very important. But he was a top 12 fantasy receiver from week 11 on last year when he was actually healthy. He was a top five real life receiver in terms of efficiency yards per outrun. And oh yeah, now down to VNWix has gone Romeo dobs has gone. They brought in no wider receivers in the draft. They brought in Skymore in for agency who's basically going to be a special teamer for them. And at this point, like what are we concerned with for Christian Watson? In my opinion, I think all of these Packers wide receivers play their own specific role. I think Watson is going to be the guy in the intermediate to deep parts of the field. Jaden Reed will be that Possession receiver that you go to on third downs middle of the field and Matthew Golden kind of a combination of bolts and they hope to get some more out of him. But to me, Watson is the guy who obviously has the most upside as a top 20 player this week. And what's even more impressive is this is like the dream fantasy environment outside of it being like, you know, a 55 point total. The Packers this week are actually underdogs, but they're just one and a half point underdogs and they have a decent spread at 22 and a half. It should be a close division on matchup on the road in a dome against a Minnesota Vikings. When you're a slight underdog, especially on the road and you still have a decent total, you know, middle of the pack total this week, that means that your

7:39offense is probably going to be throwing the ball way more than usual. And that's what the Packers want to do this way. This year, anyways, no Josh Jacob's week one terrible run blocking scheme on paper to enter the season that offense of find is not look good. They want to throw the ball to Christian Watson to Tucker craft the Jaden Reed to maybe hopefully Matthew Golden and they're going to let Jordan love cook according to their coach Matt LaFlor. So Watson must start this week. The other guy I'm higher on than the market in this one is going to be like I'm in line with Waddle and James and I'm a little bit higher on and that's just because the offense is so good and I project him out a little bit more than most people. I'm aca Buka and then Luther Burn I had projected for 10 half PPR points around 12 full PPR points this week. Luther Burns another reason that you got to go for Luther Burn this week. I don't understand how people aren't as excited. He is a must star. He's not always the flex option should I start this running back. No, no, no, the bears are currently projected for 25 points this week. One was the last time a bears offense was projected for 25 or more points entering a season. It's been a very long time. That's because of Ben Johnson Caleb Williams and all the offensive pieces they have. They're only two and a half point favorites against a bad panthers or I would say, you know, we'll see how this panthers defense looks this year, but it doesn't look great on paper the secondary and they're only two and a half point favorites. So the game should stay close. It's not like

8:41their 10 point favorites and they might not throw in the fourth quarter like the charges potentially won against the Cardinals this week. Luther Burns for me is a must star player. He is the number one bears wide receiver. I want to have this week, even despite dealing with the growing injury and camp. He's been practicing for two weeks. He looks like a go. Now for my wider severs 21 through 25 in this order, Marvin Harrison, Parker Washington DK McCaff Malik neighbors and Terry McClaurne. Now I'm pretty much in line with consensus this week on Terry McClaurne, Malik neighbors in Parker Washington. I think neighbors is going to be a top 10 wide receiver from like week four on, but I think for week one, we just kind of have to see they might limit him a little bit, but I am much higher than the market on Marvin Harrison. Marvin Harrison, look, the fact that he was a top 10 pick in the NFL draft years ago in a first round fantasy pick two years ago or at that one to turn, people still have a nasty taste in their mouth. You got to take him in the sixth or seventh round of your fantasy drafts this year. And he was that one. He was actually healthy last season. He was the clear cut number one receiver on that team ahead of Michael Wilson. And when Marvin Harrison returned later in the season, Michael Wilson went from being Jerry Rice for a month of the season in fantasy. So just being once again a backup wide receiver. Harrison is healthier to start this year. There's less pressure on him. Apparently he looks a lot better in camp. I think all of those things actually help each other and kind of all peel into each other

9:42a little bit less pressure. It allows you to play more lucid allows you to play like the prospect. You were at Ohio State. Obviously, McBride is still there, but for week one specifically, when you look at this cardinals offense, how do we not? Like, let's look at this right now. The carinals are the biggest underdogs on the week. They're nine and a half point underdogs. They're only projected to score 19 points against the chargers. Nine and a half point underdogs. That's what they were all of last year. They were just playing in garbage time. We're going to get vintage vintage Jacobi percent this week with a banged up Jeremiah love. They might not run the ball as much week one. They're going to be playing down a touchdown or two. They're going to throw the ball. Marvin Harrison is going to have a big week. He's a top 20 wide receiver. Sorry. He's a top 21 wide receiver. And then for me, DK McAf, I think everybody's been sleeping on DK McAf because he was just like the boring player in training camp this year. There wasn't any insane reports about him other than the fact that his quarterback Aaron Rodgers and him both love conspiracy theories. Apparently, and Aaron Rodgers at any time that he had a mic in training camp, which wasn't often surprisingly enough, he just hyped up DK McAf. He also kind of put down Michael Pittman saying, yeah, he's kind of behind. He's been hurt like he gets to catch up a little bit. McAf is the guy here. I'm shocked. People don't like him as much. Sure. He's 28 years old. Who cares? Who cares?

10:45Now, from my wide receivers 26 through 30. We'll go in order here. Quintan Johnson 26 Roma, do you insane? Jaden Reed, Quintan Johnson and D J more. I am massively ahead on two of these guys and behind market on one of them. The first guy is Quintan Johnson. There's not much to say here. The market currently has him as a wide receiver 40. Are you kidding me? This guy is a must start flex option unless you have a loaded team this week. Do I need say more than this once again? The Chargers are going to score points this week. Vegas has them projected for 28. Even if Vegas is slightly off and let's call Vegas being off by, oh, I don't know, 10%. Oh, okay, there's still going to go out there and score 24 points this week, three plus touchdowns in a great matchup. Quintan Johnson, he had a little bit of a scare early on in camp with an injury. He seems completely fine now, though. He's somebody who has to be in your lineups. Roma Dunes, I am about on market with just track his injury. Jaden Reed, whether it was like the pre-draft process when I had him as a top 75 player and he often went outside the top 110 picks, Jaden Reed is arguably the most slept on player in all of fantasy football this year and it is disgusting. All the things I said earlier about Christian Watson about how there's no more Romeo dobs and Don Tavinewicks and you're probably

11:46or tired of hearing this by now also applied to Jaden Reed who, oh, by the way, in his first two seasons in the league when he wasn't dealing with a broken bone, which is a freak injury. It's not like he's injury prone, a broken bone on week two, diving for a touchdown on Thursday night football against the commanders last year. There you go. I know ball. You could see those seven games he was basically hurt the whole season. He had a foot surgery as well because he was, he said, oh, I'm gonna get my shoulder done. I might as well get my foot done at the same time. But when he was healthy the two previous years before that, when you look at his receiving yards of 857, in a loaded Packers offense when Don Tavinewicks, Romeo dobs, Christian Watson and some other guys were there, and then 793 is a rookie and you factor in his rushing yards. The guys averaging 900 to a thousand yards a year and a loaded Packers offense. Now in my opinion, he's declared number two receiver. I think he's ahead of Matthew Golden, maybe not in two wider receivers, that's but in terms of target share weekly. And we're just going to ignore that in a game that should have points as slight underdogs. We're gonna ignore the most in my opinion skilled Packers wide receiver, Jaden Reed. Now that he's actually healthy, everybody's sleeping on him. That's a mistake. I'm in line with Corten Lensson and I'm behind market on DJ Moore. I can't trust DJ Moore in this Texans matchup against Derek Stinley. I'm sorry. Everything is working against DJ Moore. Maybe that's just exactly why the fantasy gods will make him pop off this week.

12:49But not only is DJ Moore himself aging and there was questions about his efficiency and just is wanting to play football at times last year for the Bears. Sure, now he's in a new situation. Change of scenery could help, but it's his first game ever in this scheme with Josh Allen. That's a little bit of a concern. And you're gonna have to face Derek Stinley. I'm not expecting a lot of trust between Alan and DJ Moore in that matchup in their first game together. He's my wad receiver 30. Now my wad receiver's 31 to 35. It's Chris Goblin, Jordan Addison, Michael Pittman, Brian Thomas and Carl Tate for Pittman and Brian Thomas. They're fine flex options. This is how I have them ranked around 9.5 PPR points, 10 full PPR. Nothing crazy there. Same for Chris Goblin. But for Jordan Addison, I'm well ahead of market. The market currently has Jordan Addison as the widest receiver 44 this week. Excuse me. It's the same thing that we were getting in redraft people not wanting to take Justin Jefferson at times in round one because of last year, totally different in disgusting and one of the worst quarterback situations we've ever seen, especially in Minnesota, the past five years with Jefferson. It's going to be way better this year for Jefferson and for Jordan Addison, one of the best number two receivers in the NFL. The other guy that I'm behind market on right now, I'm actually behind market on car and I'll take and I've talked about this in like some short form content. I think he's a sit week one. I think he's a by long term, right? Like we talked about that. I think

14:55he's a by-low candidate because people are just thinking the Titans often just going to be terrible. All season long, if you have to start them because you took them in round six or seven, hopefully not earlier in your fantasy draft, that's fine. But let's just look at this right now. The Tennessee Titans believe it or not week one. They're actually favorites for a team that like couldn't win a football game until the second half of the year last year. The Titans are two and a half point favorites because they're facing another sorry franchise in team this year. The Jets. But they're only projected for 21 points. And if the Titans are favorites this week, like one of the few times all year, they'll be favorites. They're probably going to lean on the run a little bit more than most weeks when they're going to be six to 10 point underdog. So those are the weeks when they're going to be forced to throw. I wouldn't be shocked if Cam Ward only throws the ball 20 times in this game, 24 times in this game. And then Carl Neltsadee could have a good game. You could see 25% of the targets, but it's still just like five or six targets. Now for my wider severs 36 to 40, it goes Michael Wilson, Jacobi Myers, Xavier worthy, Josh Downs and Jalen Koker. I'm basically in line with the market on Wilson and Koker. If you like are really needing this flex and like a double or triple flex league or double flex three wider severs, they're fine guys to be starting in those formats. Otherwise, I'd feel pretty bad. Jacobi Myers. I'm ahead of market. Jacobi Myers. I think

15:55people are just ranking him lowly lowly. They're ranking him if that's even a word. 43rd overall. Maybe it's because there's like a little bit of a concern for his injuries. As of Wednesday, he's like fully practicing. He said he's going to be playing on Wednesday. So I think his rank should probably come up because outside of the top 40 is just ridiculous in my opinion. And then for me, I have Xavier worthy way higher than this. He's my wider severs 38. I can't believe the market has Xavier worthy right now as the wider sever 52. Let me pull up what the market is doing right now. They have worthy currently. Look at this as the wider sever 52 on the week as of right now behind guys like Trey Tucker. I get that he's maybe the wider sever one on his offense, but it's still Trey Tucker Romeo dobs who would have already played by now. So maybe I look stupid. Rookie Casey concept she on in that browns offense like Jalen Kolker at number two attached to Bryce Young. How is Xavier worthy all the way down here makes no sense. I mean, obviously, clearly the people that are doing their consensus rankings overall have no idea how to project out offenses or at least they don't know how to do it properly. And I think that you know, we're doing a little bit better over here. Worthy is the number two option. And in my opinion, the second best option in the Chiefs passing attack. Oh, by the way, a chiefs passing attack

16:57that this week is probably going to be needed if we pull up Kansas City. They come into this game as two and a half point favorites. Now you see it right here. 23 point total of solid should be a close game on button and against the Broncos. Two and a half point favorites, 43 point total. Yeah, it's not the easiest matchup, but I think for Xavier worthy, it's going to be fine. It's not like they just put him on an island on the outside and he has to stay there. He'll be put in motion. He'll be used on Endsarounds. He'll be used in like those old, high-rekill type plays out of the slot where he's going wide across the entire field and using his speed as an advantage. If he's attached to my homes and Andy Reed and he's a number two receiver that has actually some spike weeks in his career when he's healthy, how is he outside the top 50 rankings? Like this dude is not Travis Hunter playing defense. Josh Downs on behind market on because as I've been saying, like over the last two weeks, I'm just lower and lower on Josh Downs as we go. I don't know how you can't be like I didn't think Alex Pierce was going to play like, you know, four to six weeks ago. It seemed like he was trending to miss week one. Now he's apparently a full go. Four to six weeks ago. I didn't know Keenan Allen was going to be on this team now. He obviously is and Tyler Warren is still there. So you're going to tell me that Josh Downs at best most weeks will probably be like your third option, maybe even your fourth option, depending on the matchup and how

17:58well Keenan Allen fits into this offense. On or offence, I want to run the ball with Jonathan Taylor. I liked getting Josh Downs. Like, you know, if you got him in the ninth or tenth round towards the end of the draft season, that's solid. But if we ended up taking him in like round seven earlier on in draft season, it looks pretty bad now. And I don't want to be starting him week one. Now this is an interesting range. My wide receiver is 41 through 45 in this order. Stefan DeG's 41. Wanda Robinson, Matthew Golden, Devon Velle and Adonai Mitchell, wide receiver 45. I am all over the place with these rankings compared to the market. First off, Stefan DeG's is my wide receiver 41. Right now, he's going in the market as like the wide receiver 40. So I'm in line with that outside of that, though, Wanda Robinson for the same reason that's carnaltate. I'm way behind on. He's currently the wide receiver 33 in consensus rankings. That's ridiculous. He's my wide receiver 42. Again, the Titans are favorites this week. There is no reason for them to pass the ball more than they have to. They're going to lean on the run more than they usually will because they're actually going to play in a close game against suggests. I'm much higher than the field on Matthew Golden right now. He's currently ranked outside the top 50 wide receivers. He's my wide receiver 43. Even though I like Chris Schumatz and Anjane and Readmore, I'm still going to acknowledge that Matthew Golden is going to run 25 to 30 plus routes with a good quarterback to earn in love with a solid play call in Mat LaFour and a

19:02game where they're probably going to have to throw the ball 30 plus times. That's good. Devon Velle, these are the ones that I get really crazy on. Look at this Devon Velle and Adonai Mitchell. I'm so much higher than the market on these guys. I actually think they're viable flex options and a lot of 12 team leagues if you really need them. Let's find out where Devon Velle and Adonai Mitchell is the wide receiver 58 right now. That's a joke. Where even is Devon? Devon Velle is the wide receiver 66. Can somebody explain this to me? How is these Saints number two wide receiver this week with no Jordan Tyson out there is only competition. We showed you this earlier, right? Let's pull it back up. He is only competition Devon Velle this week. Obviously outside of Crystal Ave at the wide receiver position is two massively unproven rookies in Barian Brown who apparently had a good training camp and mostly a slot receiver and Bryce Lane. How is Devon Velle this low? I know I dunked on Devon Velle earlier calling him like not an explosive player, but the Saints run such a fast pace offense. They're playing in a game this week when against the Lions where they're going to be playing from behind both teams run a lot of plays. They're probably going to throw the ball close to 35 to 40 times. Devon Velle is going to see six to seven targets and he's ranked wide receiver 66. Consensus is ridiculous. And then I actually think the Jets offense could be solid this year. They're two and a half point underdogs against the

20:05Titans. It's a good matchup for Adonai Mitchell. The number two option with a bullet there in that offense. He's well ahead of Omar Cooper. Kenyans said he'd get tight end the rookie missed all of camp their first round pick. Adonai Mitchell actually look good at times last year since becoming a jet and getting traded away from the Colts or he might have got cut and then picked up whatever it was. But Adonai Mitchell to me has a lot of upside former second round pick could easily been a first round pick if it wasn't for like some off the field issues that they were worried about whatever NFL GMs have to say. Now for my wider severs 46 to 50 Casey conceptions 46 clear Shakira Tre Tucker keen and Allen and Jalen McMillan rounds it out as my wider severs 50. I've in line with Casey conception clear Shakira. I'm slightly ahead of market on right now. He actually they said that they were seen practicing on the field. He missed like the last couple of weeks of training camps.
