I am facing J.C. in the biggest fantasy football league in the world this week to start the season the floccally. And in today's video, I'm going to be going through and setting my line up, previewing our matchup, and ultimately giving you a prediction for who's going to win this game. And it's very important that I win because we have a massive bet between J.C. and I for week one. I've already been saying that I think this guy is a dummy when it comes to fantasy football. He's an outsider. He's only been in like four leagues ever. As a champion of this league last year, I'm going to absolutely smoke this guy. And he took offense to that rightfully so. I'm a league dunce. I'm an idiot. Cool. Let's do a little bit of a wager. Whoever loses our week one matchup is now the league dunce for the remainder of the league. That's their that's their team name for the remainder of this regular season. They're the league dunce. Sal instantly said yes, which I do respect. And obviously I accept J.C.'s offer as the champion, raining champion of this league 14 and two last year. Yeah, some outsider who knows nothing about football and aspiring fantasy football creator himself. Yeah, I'm going to accept this offer and now we're going to set our line up. As we get into setting the line up, you could see the projected favorite for our matchup. It's actually J.C. 55%. I think that's a joke. I think these projections are completely wrong compared to mine.
But let's get into it. And we'll start with the quarterback position, which I would say is basically a wash. Like I took J.D. Daniels in the seventh. J.C. took Lamar in the fifth. I think they're going to score similar points. Now I will lean Lamar Jackson in a new offensive system, a more proven player. But in general, like week one, Lamar Jackson, J.D. Daniels, are you shocked if one of them scores more than the other? No, it should be Lamar. In this matchup, I'd rather have Lamar. So I'll give J.C. a slight edge there. But I think both guys score between 20 and 25 points. The quarterback is pretty easy and simple, whatever. It's a quarterback. Nobody really cares about them in standard fantasy football leagues. In my opinion, let's go to the running backs now, because this is where I believe I have my first clear edge in this matchup. I will be starting. And this is finalized for my quarterback and running back position. J.M.I.R. Gibbs and Bree Sol. These were two of my first three picks as a number one overall pick. I think J.M.I.R. Gibbs, who's currently projected for like 22 points on Yahoo. I think that's too low. I think J.M.I.R. Gibbs has a chance to have the best fantasy season of all time in rival. The McCaffrey with the Panthers, the classic LTCs in when he's scoring so many touchdowns. When you look at who J.M.I.R. Gibbs is solid, by Shal Tuen, who's currently dealing with a minor injury,
by Shal Tuen, by the way, who's apparently splitting reps. One-on-one with Chris Rodriguez right now. So Tuen might not even be the starter week one in terms of seeing more carries. I wouldn't be shocked if Tuen only sees 8 to 10 touches a week one. So this is where I think I really have an edge, because this might sound crazy. But there's a world in the projections kind of show you this, although I don't think they're that good. Like his running backs are projected for 26 combined points. I think J.M.I.R. Gibbs outscores, and here's a somewhat bold prediction, both Jervante and Byshau Tuen. I think that this is easily my biggest edge. There's a world where both my running backs, Breeze Hall and J.M.I.R. Gibbs are outscoring his combined running backs by 20 plus points. Like we might get that from Breeze, J.M.I.R. Gibbs alone. J.M.I.R. Gibbs is going to have multiple weeks. That's why he's the best player in fantasy and a tier of his own. He will have multiple weeks if healthy knock-on-one this year, where he's scoring 35 to 40 plus points, and he is winning you those weeks just by himself. Two, three, maybe four plus times this year. I think that could happen week one based on his matchup. Now, as we go to the wide receivers, this is where J.M.I.R. is biggest edge. He drafted J.M.I.R. in the first round. He's going to play on Wednesday night, so like the day this video comes out,
you already know probably by the time you're watching this, what J.M.I.R. is doing, and Drake won them with a second round pick, which I think is a bad second round pick when you're attached to starting quarterback Tuha and at best, Michael Pentax comes in at some point this season. Now, in my wide receiver spots, this isn't going to look sexy, but it's just based on strategy. I'm putting Mike Evans here because he plays on Thursday night. You should never have here's a pro tip for you. You should always have your Wednesday night for this week Thursday night players, not in your flex spot, because that's, it takes away the whole point of the flex. The flex is for flexibility. If comes Sunday, some of your guys get hurt, you can't put in a different position. There if you have Mike Evans in your flex, make sure he's in a starting spot. So this is more of a strategic play, I should say that Mike Evans is here and the same thing for DK McAf because my other guys in my flex, you'll see their wide receivers. They have Sunday night start time. So I just want more flexibility in case something goes wrong. So of course, JSN and Drake London are better options than Mike Evans and DK McAf, but I will say we'll see what happens with Mike Evans on Thursday night. I want to be shocked if Mike Evans outscores Drake London week one. Like I don't think Drake London's in the best situation she or two. And Mike Evans is reportedly healthy, his injuries in training camp or minor.
He would have not missed time if there were actually games. And he's going to be their number one red zone option. Mike Evans could easily score two touchdowns on Thursday night football, and I want to be shocked. But if we're being fair here, yes, JSN will be outscoring if we go player for player Mike Evans. Drake London should be outscoring DK McAf, although I'm not even sure that that's guaranteed. Again, I'm pretty low on Drake London myself, but I'll give the edge to Drake London there. I don't think they're going to outscore his wide receivers. My starting wide receivers by the difference in the gap that my running backs are going to crush his running backs by. So if we look at this, I think our quarterbacks are a wash, a slight lean to Lamar. My running backs are a massive edge over his running backs. His wide receivers definitely have an edge, but I wouldn't call it massive over my starting wide receivers, although there is an edge there. And then if we go to the next spot, Titan. So as of right now, as we're going to tight end our quarterbacks, our running backs are wide receivers. I think I have a slight edge at this point. I think my running backs are slightly better than his wide receivers. So it gives us a slight edge. We go to tight ends and here's a little bit of a spoiler for you. Right now I have Brenton Strange starting. He has Dallas got her. If everything goes to plan and I believe it should, this is going to be Mark Andrews for me.
Mark Andrews got dropped in this league. I'm going to put a decent amount of fab seven to 10% of my fab on mark. Andrews to get him because I think he's the best available Titan that's not even close. You might laugh at Mark Andrews. He's not 37 like Travis Kelsey. He's relatively young. He's in a new offense. He's the best red zone weapon in that offense. There's no more as a likely. I think Mark Andrews is a sneaky, very good fantasy Titan this year. But when we compare Mark Andrews to Dallas, Goddard, I honestly think that they're so similar. This is the biggest wash of them all. Like it just comes out to who scores a touchdown if one of them does. They're both the best red zone weapons on their team in my opinion. They're both going to benefit from players being gone from their offense that were there last year for Goddard. It's AJ Brown for Mark Andrews, who hopefully will be my starter of this clears. It's going to be Isaiah likely gone. And they're both in new offensive systems that based on camp reports and everything we're hearing are going to be better than last years. So I think this is the clear and obvious easiest like wash on the board. I would probably if I could choose between Mark Andrews and Dallas Goddard. I probably take Dallas Goddard, but like it's honestly like a coin flip. It's pretty much 50-50. They're very similar. They're similar age veterans. They're both in good offense.
It's like at this point, whoever scores a touchdown is going to be good. This is a clean wash in my opinion. Actually, this is the perfect time to just show you. I built this tool. It's completely free. It's at fantasy football starts.com. You can type it in on your phone on your laptop, whatever you're watching in right now. Fantasy football starts.com. It's completely free. It's a start sit tool. You could put up to like four players in here if you want. So let's just do this. I'm curious what I currently have in my rankings right now. Mark Andrews versus Dallas Goddard. Oh my, there's no fucking way. Look at this. It is dead. There's no way. They're both projected for 10 point that I literally have not checked this before doing this. They're currently dead even. My hunch that this was a wash was completely correct. They're both dead even at 10.6 fantasy points going with Mark Andrews by a hair, but both are justifiable. Now, the reason why it's saying, uh, see, it says too close to call. The reason why it's saying go with Mark Andrews by a hair is because there are matchup notes that will lead you to go to Mark Andrews. You can unlock those matchup notes by joining the blueprint. If you're already a member, they're already available. Join the blueprint.com. If you want to learn more about all the other tools in season, waivers, trades, start
sits, projection, rankings, one-on-one access to me and ask me questions. But anyways, if you just want to get access to that free startsit tool that I just demoed right there for you, a perfect natural plug. I wasn't even planning on doing this. You can head to fantasy football starts.com. It's completely free. You can use it as long as as much as you want. It's a free tool I built for the community. I appreciate you all ton. So there you go. Check it out. Fantasy football starts.com. It's also linked below. Now, this is the most important part of our matchup and it's the flex spot. And here's a little insight for you. This is a start to running back to wide receiver, double flex league. So double flex is you have to make sure you have depth. You have to make sure you obviously have enough startable pieces. And I think this is exactly where somebody who does this full time compared to Jynxy, you know, basically like I've been calling him the league dunce. I think this is where I absolutely sweep the floor with him. Because if you look at my flexes, I'm flexing currently just based on the way the lineup start. He plays at 4 p.m. That's why he's in my flex. Terrem Accler and a wide receiver one for his team, great player. And Malik neighbors, my second round pick, the reason why he's in my flex and not my wide receiver position, he plays on Sunday night. He's somewhat questionable, although I think he's trending to start. So if anything ever happens to him, I could just pick somebody up last minute from this
team and plug them in there and we're good to go hopefully. But let's just say Malik neighbors starts, even if he's limited and McClaurnd starts. Feel great about those. Oh, who are they going up against? Josh Downs, who for some reason Yahoo has projected for 12.2 points. Josh Downs in my opinion is at best the third passing game option on his team behind Tyler Warren, who's healthy heading into week one behind Alec Pierce, who's healthy heading into week one. And there's a world where he's the fourth passing game option depending on the specific play in situation behind veteran Keenan Allen. And keep in mind, this is a team that obviously wants the run the ball with Jonathan Taylor and has a quarterback coming off of a 20 killies. So you're telling me I get Terry McClaurnd or Josh Downs, maybe the fourth option in his passing attack. Yeah, I think I sleep the floor at that flex option or that flex situation and matchup. And then of course anybody who follows fantasy football at all would know that if Malik neighbors, even if he's just 50% healthy, which I think it'll be closer to 70 to 80%. He's going to dominate Jonathan Brooks. Another situation where this platform Yahoo is projecting Jonathan Brooks for nearly 11 fantasy points. However, as we've been saying all off season, Jonathan Brooks was one of the worst picks
in fantasy drafts that you wanted to avoid, especially when he started to go in like the sixth or seventh round of drafts. Jonathan Brooks, he's running in practice. He's not fully practicing yet. His head coach says that his status remains day to day. He's having soreness. They won't say where the soreness is. As somebody who has had back to back 20 ACLs and Jonathan Brooks and hasn't played real football since 2023 for the most part, you would assume that that soreness, if they're not putting it out there, it's a PR move because they don't want people to go crazy. It's probably knee soreness. So as Hayden Wings points out here, he says that Chuba Hubbard is easily ahead in the week one rankings. Yeah, Chuba Hubbard is just starting running back on this team where Jonathan Brooks was healthier or not. Now Jonathan Brooks is not healthy. So there's no way in the world as Yahoo points out here that Jonathan Brooks is going to score 11 fantasy points or at least should be projected for that to be his average outcome in week one. But I am fearing now that Jynxie is going to get bailed out. If Jonathan Brooks doesn't play week one, if he played, he probably would have got six carries for 26 yards and Jynxie definitely loses this matchup with two points in his flex. Now I'm worried that he's not going to play and Jynxie is going to put somebody else in so we're going to go to his bench to see who he has. But anyways, this was the problem with Jynxie's team and this is exactly why I'm excited
about my matchup that I get to face a non fantasy person week one as the reigning champion of this league. If you did not watch the floccale draft, be sure to check it out. The biggest fantasy league in the world, floccale the YouTube channels right here. You can check it out. There's a bunch of videos every week. There's me on my bet video with Jynxie is right here. You can check it out. We're dropping videos weekly during the season. There's a bunch of us friends in the fantasy industry. He took Bichal to and in round four. We talked about to on this channel. I like him as a six to seven-throwed breakout when you already have your starters basically filled out as your RB two in the fourth round gross. He took Jonathan Brooks in the sixth run and everybody else at this draft is complimenting him. You know ball. What are you talking about? Like sub-gastlight in the guy. That was dummy move. So let's start with looking at Jynxie's bench because I think he's probably more likely in a situation where he's going to have to replace Jonathan Brooks because he just either stinks or he doesn't play. He'll have Stefan digs. Now decent option is like your second flex. I won't say anything about that but I think there's a world where he's only a starter and three-writers he ever sets for the commanders. He'll have Matthew Golden definitely a breakout player. We like him on this channel but at the same time he's an unproven player. He currently in like the prop market is projected for just three catches over under week one.
Like that's not really expecting a big performance at least Vegas which is trustworthy in my opinion because it's a lot of money going in there to make that line very tight a lot on the line there. Three catches week one. Like yeah, I'm not going to be scared of that in his flex. And then he has just like some good I would say handcuff running backs. Like these were some of his best picks in the draft which is saying something tank picks being Woody Marx late. He also is rostering by the way two kickers. So we'll get into his kickers soon. As of right now, he's not starting the Rams kicker on Thursday night which is an interesting call. So he's either going to be starting Stefan digs or Matthew Golden over Jonathan Brooks. I hope and I pray he starts Jonathan Brooks for my bench unless so like if we get news by the time you're watching this or like later in the week that Malik neighbors won't play, it's most likely going to be Jaden Reed as my second flex option which I would still favor Jaden Reed over Matthew Golden week one over Stefan digs over Jonathan Brooks. I still think I win that spot. There's a world where it's jacquery cross-chamber it although unlikely. Clear secure dealing with minor injuries. The rest of my bench tray talker by the time you're watching this will probably be cut and I have a backup player. Terrence Ferguson and just want to kind of hold him and see what happens in that first game as a upside tight end and Rashid Shahid. So I have a replacement in Jaden Reed ready.
I feel way better about my replacement options than what jinxies replacement options are. But at the end of the day, I think that Malik neighbors will be playing week one. I think it's more of like a gamesmanship thing against your rivals to cowboys in prime time. Now before we keep going, I've got something to tell you because I've teamed up with draft kings and you're going to want to hear this because they just dropped the biggest fantasy football contest in the history of the sport. We are talking about a $20 million best ball prize pool where three different people are going to walk away millionaires this year. Now look, if you've never played best ball, no worries. Here's what you need to know. You draft your team one time and that's it. No setting lineups, no waiver wire, no Sunday morning panicking, your top scores automatically count every week. Basically getting a fun sweat all season long with your team and players without having to lift a finger or do any work after the draft. Now here's the part you don't want to miss. Graph kings is running a draft one, get one offer right now. All customers enter a lineup into the $20 million best ball headliner contest for $25 and get a bonus ticket for a second entry. That basically means you have two shots at your share of $20 million and maybe being one of those three people who will become a millionaire. So all you have to do now is download the draft kings apps, line up with promo code
sal and get your lineups in before the season kicks off and partnership with draft kings the crown is yours. Now let's talk about the kicker and defense because these are very random, but a lot of weeks they can shift your week. I mean, they can combine scoring like, you know, 25 to 30 points for you. If your defense scores a touchdown, you're a kicker hit some 50 orders, 5.50 orders in this league, six points for 60 orders in this league. I think I win at the kicker position. Again, it's so random who really cares. These guys will probably score somewhere between six and 10 points. So it's not that big of a deal. But I do have fair bearing who I would say is the best fantasy kicker. Yes, I think he's better than Brandon Aubrey personally, because although I think Brandon Aubrey is the better real life kicker, I think the calories are going to score more touchdowns than the Texans. And they're going to go for it on four down more than the Texans will, which means just more field goal opportunities for fair bearing on the season week to week. And that's my exact issue with right now, Jinks East kicker, whether he has the Rams kicker on his bench starting or Jake Bates for the lines, these are often says that will go for it on four down more and will kick extra points. You do not want those kickers, even if they're good kickers, like a Brandon Aubrey. You want guys like fair bearing who are very good kickers who are in offenses like Houston that are not the greatest and don't go for it as much on four down.
That means you're settling more often for 40 to 60 yard field goals. And now for the defenses again, completely random. But once again, I think on paper, we don't know what happens. It's so random. Who knows who gets the sack from will return for a touchdown, which quarterback throws a pick randomly before half, right? Anyways, I think I have the edge here. I have a stealers very good defense and they will be playing at home against two to open the season. That feels like maybe a pick six. Meanwhile, he has the Broncos a very good defense at home on Monday night and prime time. The matchup could very well come down to this. He's the only person who would apply on Monday night, but they're facing Patrick Mahomes and the chiefs. So if I'm betting on a defense, you know, between the stealers and the Broncos, if one's facing two, uh, and we're hoping for some interception, sax and turnovers and one's facing the best quarterback on this generation in Patrick Mahomes, I'm probably taking the defense. Just personally, you probably are too, but let me know I'm taking the defense facing two. So there you have it. There is Jinsi and I match up. He's projected to win. I think that's comical because they're projecting so many points for Jonathan Brooks, so many points for Drake London, so many points for Josh Downs. It's hilarious at this point. I think they're under projecting a couple of my players. I would probably put this closer to 60% of my favorite.
Their current projection is I'm only going to score 124. Jinsi is going to score 133. If I had to give you my final prediction and we'll put it up on the screen right now, I believe I'm going to win somewhere around 137 to 139. Let's go with 139 to about 117. I think I win pretty comfortably. I think Jinsi has the Broncos defense on Monday night and goes into that game, needing a 30 burger. And I'm just praying that my home doesn't throw two to three picks. Sixes. If you want to keep track of this match up and all the other matchups in the floccleague, it is the most fun thing I get to do. I think it's the best YouTube channel currently on the planet, especially in the fantasy football world. You can just check it out at the floccleague. And by the way, if you like this type of video, like me breaking down my matchup in the floccleague or just a fantasy league in general each week, let me know because I'm very much thinking about doing this weekly on Fridays. Hopefully my team is good enough to where I'm not hating it every single week. But if you like this type of matchup, let me know in the comments because if I see overwhelming, yes, it's keep doing this on Friday. I'll be sure to put out these floccleague matchup previews every single Friday. But other than that, I appreciate you. Be sure to hit the subscribe button before you go. Best of luck to me. I don't want to become the league dunce this week in the floccleague. Best of luck in your matchups this week. Football is finally here. I'll see you all in the next one.
