I got to tell you here in this, I'm starting to get excited for Wednesday. Go first, Jack. We're two days away. It's the biggest sporting event in, I mean, this month. Well, I mean, if you had to rank in, so this would be one, right? Joe first, Jack is one, world-based, world-class. Well, world-based, world-based, world-class because obviously we're into that right now, right? Well, you know, opening day, March madness, bracket of hues. I'm like a bracket of hues one for us. That's gonna be interesting to see how Joe handles this. Well, how do you think he's gonna handle it? Not well. Uh, yes. Yeah, I mean, I think he's gonna win. I mean, I'm pulling for Jack, though. Jack, I think Jack's gonna have a hell of a show, but I think he's gonna win. Wow, when you say your point for Jack, you said the same thing about Bryce. It's almost like you're pitying someone. I want you to win, but I definitely don't have pity for Jack.
Jack, Jack has, you know, he's been working out hard, man. I see. Yeah. Working on hard for this? Yeah, he's been working out. I don't know. I'm not sure about that. I think Jack's obviously got himself in some good shape the last couple of years, but specifically to play basketball against Joe, I don't know about that. Should Jack be confident or nervous? Mm-hmm. Confident. You got to go into this confident. Now, I think the issue with Joe is that he, and he said this on the air to us off the earth, I think his stamina is gonna give out. I just, the longer this game goes, the worse off-show-to-camera is gonna be. All right, so we have, we got some details this morning, so, so blue jeans, basketball stamina. Blue jeans was on the morning show today trying to settle some rules in, and I was a little surprised. I thought, I thought the camera would kind of back blue jeans into a corner and forced them to make some tough decisions. That's not what happened this morning. I'm listening on the way in, and Joe just basically just gave away everything they wanted to give away. The show was asking for no, no foul shots, here there will be no foul shots in this game. Okay. Also, they are good. Does it make it take it, don't you? It's going to be make it take it.
Oh, that's good. That's good for Joe. If he's the shooter, that, that, that he's been, you know, propped up to be. I'm not sure it's as good for Joe as you guys do. So that, I heard that a lot this morning that make it take it's good for Joe, because he gets a couple shots, he gets, keep the ball, right? But couldn't Jack just run away from him? Like, if Jack gets in a rhythm and starts burying him, Joe's done. Or, or beating him to the bucket or driving, just driving to the bucket. Right. I think make it take it, lends us more to a Jack blowout of Joe than a close game. We'll see. We'll see where we go. But it's going to make it take it. No free throw shots. They also have Joey Crawford referring. I guess my question, what is the point of Joey Crawford if there's no free throw shots? He can't call fouls. I mean, I, it's cool that Joey Crawford's going to be there. I just wonder. I don't want him to be there. No, I, I, I mean, why would not want Joey Crawford to be there? And it just sounds like, you know, you, you're taking the poo poo and all. Do we need Joey Crawford for if he can't call fouls? Make sure it's a ballboard. It might get a little chippy. But he can't call fouls. Yeah. But it might, they might, they might be there in case somebody swing on something. Okay.
Joey Crawford in his 80s. What is he going to do? He could, he could probably crumble the camera, if you want. That's true. I, I just, when I heard Joey Crawford was going to be there and let, what do you, what do you hear for? Well, let me to the idea that the camera was going to get the free throw shots. That's he was trying to foul bait, right? You know, like, hard and does or SGA, like, try, like, Bronson, trying to, like, bait in Joey Crawford in the calls of fouls. So we now know there will be no free throw shots for the camera. They're going to play ones in twos up to 11. Believe that's what they, they settled in this morning. So we have all that. So Hugh, as you sit here today, 1234 in a Monday, two days away from Joe versus Jack, the finale. Your pick is Joe. Your pick is Jack. I'm still picking Joe. Wow. Still picking. I'm picking Jack. Well, you know, I gotta hang out. I gotta, I gotta represent for it. Oh, yes. So yeah, I'm still picking Joe. Joe's younger than you. Did you just tell old people that STF, you know, here compared to Jack, I guess, I guess, you're just just picking Joe. Cause he told me what I said about the old folks. He told them the STF, you know, yeah, they, you know, sometimes, you know, the elderly folks, they get together, they, they get in their little, uh,
geriatric, uh, meetings and when they, and they start talking about how to treat meetings. Yeah, you know what I mean? And they start talking about how things used to be. Yep. Ain't dog ain't nobody trying to hear all this. Like for real meetings. Yeah. You know, we love you. Love you to death. Yeah. Love us a lot. You've paved the way for us to be who we are. But sit your old ass down. Man, let us do this. This is not about Joey Crawford. No, I'm just saying. It ain't about nobody. It's just me talking. Yeah. Specifically not Joey Crawford. Not Joey Crawford. All right. So speaking of someone else whose name and voice you recognize, how about the idea of Mark Zumoff being part of this thing now? Zumoff. Zumoff's good. He's going to call this thing. That is awesome. When that, when that, when that zoom in the booth, when, when Eric Snow had his, uh, was it? I don't know. We're going to go back to this. It was Zumoff. I have to think, you know what, I've heard it so many times, but now I can't tell if it was Zumoff just off top of my head because I just think of the snow part and reacting to stuff. Anyway, Mark Zumoff. It was him. It was him. All right. Did you suggest that they bring Eric Snow back to the color commentary?
Might as well. Now to be fair, Joe Verstjack might actually put you to sleep. Well, they're going to get on Eric Snow for that. Maybe one. My sleep might be one. All right. So we have a business on this before we have this game six o'clock on Wednesday evening. We're going to have a press conference live tomorrow at about 10.45 with both parties. This always reminds me of the pre playoff game press conference at baseball that both managers up there, maybe a star pitcher, whatever. So tomorrow, we'll hear from those guys in the press conference tomorrow at 10.45. And to both of those guys are going to know the rules unlike Mark Derosa. I would. Well, I mean, there's been enough rule talk on WIP about this that I guess we'll find out. They better know the rules. Kyle, your gut instinct right now. Joe or Jack? I still got Joe. Yeah. I think Jack's going to win this thing. I think the time off really hurt, Joe, and he was talking this morning about going out and practicing today. I mean, if you're practicing today, it's well hold on to it. The haze in the barn. Yeah. The time off was because of Joe. I know. So he needed it more than Jack. Well, he did. I mean, the time off helped him. But did he play basketball or sit on his ball for six months?
I don't know what he did either. Probably guess. Yeah. I mean, he probably didn't work out much. So I think Jack is going to win this thing. And I think the make it take it could be a problem for Joe. I really do. If Jack gets a few points on him and Joe's behind, he's going to start taking bad shots. You know, so I hear you. But the make it take it, I think, is really what's propping Joe up because it does allow him to not give Jack possessions. Sure. I get it. And the fewer possessions Jack has, the better it is for the camp. But make it take it also guarantees Joe possessions. Joe could go a half hour. I get in the basketball. Well, if Jack just keeps scoring on him, this thing could be over. But Joe's. He could body. That's what I'm saying. I don't think the camera is going to play good defense against Jack. So he kind of needs as many possessions he can get. Yeah. Yeah. But right. So you're saying if Joe scored first, he could kind of control the game. Yeah. Yeah. But now it's just got to hope Jack bricks one. Get the wall back. Yeah. Yeah. Now are you guys excited to watch this thing? Well. I mean, if we're going to vote a confidence to our guys here, are you excited to watch this?
I mean, I'm not excited to watch it, but I mean, I'm going to watch it. That's a sad state of affairs. No, a little bit. I mean, it's right. But that's okay. I mean, it's funny. You know what? I keep thinking about. I'll be thoroughly entertained. Well, yes. What I keep thinking about when I think about Mark Zoom off and Joey Crawford being part of this is how many great players that those two have been around the games, the LeBronz, the Michaels, the Copies, they're going to do this with us. Right. And then now, like, when Joey Crawford's got to go to the level of these guys of Joe and he's slumming with us a little bit. That's exactly what he's doing. Of course he's slumming. He refereed the best players ever to play the game. And now he's refereeing Joe. Well, I was calling AI and game 7 versus Vince Carter and now he's got to do Joe versus Joe. You said the perfect word. It is slumming it with us. All right. So that press conference tomorrow, we're working on details, but I think it'd be fun if we could air some of that tomorrow and maybe be part of that press conference. Just like we would for a big playoff game. That's awesome. Can we sit here and commentate on it? Just one of them says something stupid, like I turn them down on a comment like we do
with Cereani. Yeah. All right. All right. We're good. That's tomorrow at 1045. Let's go to the phone. It's 215-592-9490 for BAM in Upper Darby. Hey, BAM. What's going on, fellas? How you doing? BAM. What's going on? Thanks for letting me win the other day, man. Taking me the other day. Hold on, man. We didn't let you do anything. You earned it. You earned it. You earned it, brother. Yes. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah. I want to say, hey, believe it, birthday to my little brother, Jack Fritz over there. Yes, Jack's birthday. Jack's birthday was, yeah. You see you and Jack's. Are you the same age, too? How old are you, BAM? I'll be 40. Oh. You and I are the same age. 86. 86, birthdays. Yes. All right. Yep. And I was talking about there. I'd rather trade AJ Brown to the AFC team, most likely the Patriots, because why would you keep them in the conference, knowing that we got to play them. We got to play the Rams once in either a Philly or L.A., and then what have got, I mean, God forbid, and we had to play them in the playoffs.
Yeah. That's crazy. That's crazy. Oh, Quinion will shut them down, BAM. We got, we got Rick Wolland now. I'm not working. Rick. Yeah. And guess what? I'm going to be it. Are you going to be it, Joe? Are you going to be in attendance on Wednesday? Because I know. So I'm not going to be able to make it. But I'm going to watch it. So you're going to be there. You're watching on it. You got one of the tickets, because these tickets are hard to get, BAM. Yes, I did. Yes, I did. I'm going to be there. I'm going to be there in my cheerleading outfit. Oh, I'm sure the guys can't wait for that. I'm sure everyone in the crowd can't wait for that. Hugh, you should get a second second. Change your mind on going, because BAM is going to be there. No. Yeah. Because I heard, because I heard the camera say that this morning that he's coming in with an entrepreneur's in a song. So I got to be jack entrepreneur and, you know, after I let Jack pick the song though. Okay. Well, I'm sure Jack appreciates that, BAM. That's good stuff. All right, BAM. We appreciate it and happy early birthday. BAM tomorrow, 40 years old, BAM. We throw in BAM the birthday celebration. Murphy calls us down. Okay.
Okay. Joe say he's coming with an entrepreneur. What does that mean? What does the camera entourage look like at this thing? I don't know. Are you okay over there? I'm still laughing at Jack. God's right now. You're going to make it the rest of the show? I got a little bit time. I'm making up. I'm going to make it. I'm making it. I'm making it. I'm not sure if you're going to make it. No, it's just. We've got to say now. He's like a little babbling now. Well, I would. No, I just say he was. Well, when people tell you it's their birthday, they want, they want like birthday. They want better than I know. Yeah. You say happy birthday. Well, what you want? I gave them the early happy birthday. You know that. You know the person who wants you to know it's their birthday all the time. They're looking for the celebration or the pomp and circumstance or the balloons or the happy birthday nonsense. I didn't mean it specifically. Bam. Well, you kind of heart. Well, I'm using Bam as an example of that. You kind of heart doing a little bit of it. It is. It is his birthday tomorrow. Tomorrow is tomorrow to the strip club.
I wonder if he's still going. Well, hold on. I forgot about that. He's been telling us for a while. It's his birthday. Say about to have a free some. Okay. That's. That's enough. I didn't say what. I said a free. Free some. I'm looking at a free. Free some. That's good. Brian and Bucks County. What's up, Brian? Listen. First of all, I want to talk about AJ Brown. He can go. He can get absolutely good at rams. We'll talk about what we know versus what we don't know. What we do know is that we get a 13th. What we don't know is how he's going to produce this year. So and we do know that the team didn't do so well with them on the squad. With them giving up their playoffs and stuff like that. Brian, you're correct. You're correct. All those things you're right about. Like he didn't have a great year last year. We didn't have a great offense anyway. And I'll also have this. He doesn't want to be here anymore. So it's like that's pushing me into this anyway. Absolutely. Absolutely. Also, I was trying to explain something to Kyle. I was wondering if I could run something by you guys. Sure.
I don't think he understood it. It's something to do with the camera and boba on tomorrow on Wednesday. I guess for the. For something that you guys want to learn there is a stipulation that add on bet. My friends and I like to do it. And it's something everybody would enjoy. Okay. What do you got? We call it any time pushups. So understand this. This could drag on for a year to drag on for something you can stipulate anyway one. Do five. Five reps of ten. Or ten reps of ten. So any given time. You can tell someone. It doesn't matter where you're at. Aside from like a bathroom. Actually, drop me. Give me ten. So this guy before meeting after meeting. This could be out in the public when you're. I don't know anyone in your event. I mean, it's embarrassing. You need to own the person for like the duration of these pushups. So you're saying the winner would get like if Jack wins. He would he would get to tell Joe at any point for the next year. Drop and give me ten pushups. Not not. Well, yeah, but it could only be like ten reps of ten. That's right. They could vote on a hundred or fifty.
Whatever it is. Right. But yes, they're there. It could only last as long as you bet. So if you bet fifty pushups, that's five times you can do. Funny thing is, I mean, it can happen at any time. So it's like before meeting after meeting at an event. I mean, do we've done some funny stuff where like I've had buddies like they're talking to some. You know, chopping up with some females and all the sudden one of your buddies like drop and get me ten. And they just got to do it. I mean, we, I mean, we've done an Eagles game. Pictures games. It is a funny. It is a funny premise. Now, I guess. I'm not sure what is what is is anything really on the line except bragging rights. Except. It's like, yeah, it's the, you get to say you're the better athlete. Yeah. Brian, I didn't thought about it that we've gone all this time. I mean, this is literally going on a Brian good phone call for a year. I mean, they started this one year ago with the promos for Joe first check. That's how long this has been going on. Here, there really isn't anything to be gained except you win. That's it. And you get to talk bad about the other person.
Well, they, I mean, they do it anyway. And that that's been happening. So nothing's going to change really. I mean, you just say I beat you in basketball. You weren't that good, you know. How do we think Joe would do with the pushups? That's a lot of pushups. Dude, we needed to take an entire year break because his body couldn't hold up to play a basketball. He's a little feeble up top. You can tell you know how some people have, you could just tell they've never done a pushup in their whole entire life. Are you saying that about the camera? Yeah. He has no creases in his chest. And it's not like I've seen him with his shirt off. You could just see built like a five year old. My son has more chest in him. Oh, my God. I mean, and I say that with all due respect. Yeah, you didn't say it first though. Sounds like it. Yeah. I mean, it was meant to be. I think we have seen Joe with a shirt off though. Haven't we? When he had his nipple waxed on the air? I mean, I don't know. Am I speaking out of turn? I'm not talking about that. I don't see how you as a man, you know. Like at what point? Like when I was growing up, you know, my brother's older brothers had like weights and stuff. You know, just, you know, working on him, you know, just trying to, you know, put some weight on him, whatever. He's never saw weight before, huh?
Like never, like, picked up one or nothing like that. Well, so I don't know. But I haven't heard any point in the last year when he talked about his training regimen weights being part of the whole operation. I don't understand it. I don't understand. It's not listening weight. Well, the pushback I would have to our last caller is they took, they took a long time to settle in whether they're going to have make it or take it. I don't know if we can add more rules. And then Blue Jeans this morning, he just, he went along with whatever Joe. I mean, I think he was on board, whatever Joe was going with. Well, Joe was conceding to be fair. He was. Now, did you think Blue Jeans was going to put his foot down if he didn't like what Joe was going to say? You know, I actually do. I think he did. Yeah. All right. I'm not even because I'm not sure. I mean, the rules for this have taken so long to tell. I think Blue Jeans just want this to be open. It's like, man, let's just do this, whatever. I feel like it's more than anything because we've been, we've been careening down this highway for a long time. It just feels like. It actually feels like an engine running out of gas. Yeah, but we need to go ahead and just take care of it. That's what I think. All right. One more question. And again, tomorrow at 10.45, we're going to have the press conference with Joe and Jack.
What do you think the crowd is going to be like in terms of who they're rooting for? It's a crowd. It's probably going to be more of the camera. You think? Yeah. Didn't the last crowd more probe the camera? At the tennis thing? I don't remember. It's hard for me to remember what it was. Now, Joe won that. Right? That was a good day for the camera, the tennis. Yeah. It tracked me. We were at McGurks, right? For the track. The track parts portion, right? That was baseball. Okay. No, it was baseball. Yeah. But they were at, like they were, I think that crowd was pro to camera. So to me, this is a little bit different because this is the finale, right? This isn't just an event. This isn't just a one-off. It's the fifth and final game. Yeah. So if you're cheering, you're not just cheering for, you're cheering for the winner. You're cheering for who you want to win this thing. Yeah. I think Jack's going to have the crowd. Maybe I'm dead wrong on this. Maybe Joe has the crowd. Hmm. I can see why you would think that. I can see why you would think that. Well, I mean, I can see why you would think that. So again, I will say a baseball.
We'll see where people come down on Wednesday. Kyle, where did the crowd goes Wednesday? It's going to be more of a pro, Jack crowd or a pro, Joe crowd. I feel like they can be bought pretty easily. It'll be kind of like a wrestling crowd. Once they start seeing who's, who's about to come out on top, they'll back them. Oh, okay. They could just go with it. Yeah. Like if they start to see the writing on the wall that Joe's going to win, it'll be a hammer chance. You know, I think helps Jack though. I think his show is going to help build up all their listeners to, to be on Jack's side. The morning show has never felt on Joe's side. I mean, from the beginning, I don't, I mean, I think they're, they're primarily pretty friends. I think they're starting to take it a little bit personally with the way they're being talked about. But Richie has been anti to camera from the start. Sure. Well, like, yeah, I think that doesn't help them. No, it doesn't. I think at first they were rooting against the camera, but now, I think now they're taking it as a slight against them in their whole show. Well, then we have to answer this question. I don't think we can end this segment without, who, we, we want the camera to win. All right. We gave who we thought would win. Uh-huh. So we're, well, we're going in as a show or we, it'll be, it'll be way funnier if the camera wins, guys.
And you all know it. You all know it. That's true. There's definitely more good content to come out of it if Jack doesn't win. Hugh, who do you, who do you want to win? Oh, I know. Forget who you think wins. Who do I want? Well, you know, I, you know, I love them, but they're a little arrogant in that afternoon. So they're a little arrogant. Oh, wow. I mean, love them to death. I mean, we, oh, we like, okay, to be fair. This is because you keep cats distraight and top five. No, no, no. No, no, no, no. But let's be fair. Wow. We're all a little arrogant that do this. But they're extremely arrogant, especially that dude spike. Wow. He had to do spikes a lot. He's an arrogant little dude. So you're taking it out on Jack and rooting for Jack. Well, yeah. I mean, it's not, it's not nothing personal with Jack, but it's, yeah, spikes arrogant. I guess I'm outvoted now. I mean, I was going to say I'm rooting for Jack, but you guys were both rooting for the camera. You just called out the afternoon show. Yeah. For no reason there. That was a wild one. For no reason. Really? No reason. Well, I mean, in the context of Joe versus Jack. Those guys always, and they always take your shots, man. They always take shots. It sounds like you heard top five and five again. I didn't hear it, but I, but people tell me I got people in the streets.
I didn't hear it, but I, they, I got you told me by. All right. 215-592-94. Well, it was, it was a good cut to use. All right. We have a lot going on last hour of the show. AJ Brown, would you be willing to turn it to the ramps? Would you be okay with AJ Brown on the ramps? I would. I don't think he's got many more good years left. I want the best offer. And newsflash, we don't have much of a big market for AJ. It's not like five teams are seemingly in this. The ramps came out of nowhere, and then somebody were saying, well, that was just for a day. I don't know how many teams are in this, but I do know this. I think we have clearly overrated the market of AJ Brown. We're not getting as many teams we hope for, and that's make it things more complicated. If the ramps are the best offer, and how he's only really good offer, ship him to the ramps. Are the ramps going to win the surboad? Get him out. Are the ramps going to win the surboad AJ next year? Maybe. They certainly could. It's not going to change my opinion. I want the best offer. Your phone calls on all this. Joverse Jack Prescott for tomorrow, 1045. Bryce Harper, are you concerned? It has been a tough world baseball classic for him.
Double aside last night. The USA team is in the finale. They're going to try to win this thing, but they might have to drop price and line up. And I'm just, I'm concerned we have a price a week and a half. Before the start of the season. Okay. Along with that, the bracket of Hughes, look at this. I'm going to show it to the YouTube audience. It's in front of me. I have the bracket of Hughes. 64 versions of Hugh Douglas will unveil some of the regents and our methodology of how we got here coming up in the one o'clock hour and some alarming news from the Phillies over the weekend. And I fear. I really fear. This is a big win for Hugh Douglas. And it's a loss for us. Like it's a win for Hugh. A win for Hugh is a loss for everyone. I keep seeing these headlines and I'm like, what am I reading? Why is this happening? No, this is, this is nothing short of a disaster. I know. And I, you know what? You know what the worst part is? We haven't even gotten to the conversation. I told you so Douglas is going to be here. Like that's the, the part that makes it so bad. 215, 592, 90 for my first time in a day show on sports radio, 94, WIP.
Party plan of return of time. Cool. Now let's talk about what you're going to have at your watch parties. The food that he is. Hatfield recipe is simply sweet and Italian sausage made for watch parties. It has big flavor in the best part. It's already out of the casing. So there's no prep, no mess. Just cook it up. Add it to your flatbreads, your dips, and your pasta dishes. Your brackets may bust. But you always win with Hatfield recipe is simply sweet and Italian sausage. This is simply Hatfield.com for recipes. Hatfield. Better care. Better pork.
