Labor expands paid placements for health students

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced an expansion of paid placements for university students, extending the existing $338 weekly payment for teachers, midwives, nurses and social workers to 10 additional health degrees including paramedics and physiotherapists. The $750 million initiative will support 95,000 university students over four years.
